Thanks Rally and eekdgeek for the screencaps, as well for everyone who wrote down what Amber and Nick said. I taped this on my vcr, but I didn't have the patience to sit through the whole pre and awards show waiting for Amber, so it was nice to see the caps first on the board.



I agree Amber looks beautiful as always, and yes I love what she said about being shot in the heart. Amber always seems so genuine, and its nice to know that she at least understands the cliche.



And I agree Amber always has the difficult job of never truly answering the "Are you coming back question?", but at least she does seem to be "hopeful" of a return.

This may sound dumb, but I was glad to see Amber smiling. She's seems like a person who would take things to heart (no pun intended), a girl who cried over the comments made about her after her first appearance on BTVS. I figure she's shed a few tears over losing a job, a character and a steady paycheck. Of course she's had longer to adjust than we have, but still, it's nice to see her happy. She deserves it.



Her hair was longer and darker at the play? It looks so long and dak now. My first thought was Alanis Morrisette.

her character's death was neither fun nor exciting. it was heart wrenching and absolutley disgusting. this just makes me think that she's trying to be cool about it because she's probably still going to work with ME again... which is a good thing.

Hmm I have been wondering at how to interpret her statement, not being able to hear her voice or look her in the eye hinders it a bit, but if I just read those words I can only translate it as sarcasm, which is a good thing.

having seen it live at the moment in full vivid amber gloryness with the facial expressions and the little laugh...



she was spreading the whole shot in the heart thing out with a very thick dose of sacrasm (both at George the Dj's stupid way of asking and the plotline itself)... cause at two points she very overdramatically mimes the shot through the heart bit in a badly overacted fifth grade play sorta way... oh and purposely mentioning poor missing Miss Kitty... that is a girl with timed sharp sarcastic ability!



might only be a canadian awards show.... but good for you for taking the shot at the stupidity of the show's story line for her character

Her voice was so low and throaty and full of humor and intelligence. It's such a striking contrast with the way she speaks on the show. God, Amber is fabulous.



And yes, getting shot through the heart is neither fun nor exciting nor original, so that was a great dig, however good-naturedly expressed.
