The series of comics takes place in the summe between the end of Season 5 and the beginning of Season 6. I think it's actually called 147 Days. I'm guessing that this explores how Willow decided to perform the resurrection spell.

Thanks so much for the scans. :)

I have this comic, and it deals with how Willow and Xander rebuild the Buffy bot, so baddies will not know The Slayer is dead. Willow also asks some demons to tell her what they know about resurrection spells in exchange for some help from her, and this is the last scene of the comic. Unfortunately, there is not much of Tara in this one. It will be continued in #45.

Tara: My heart doesn't stutter.

Tara: Willow, I got so lost.
Willow: I found you. I will always find you.

Willow: Hi, um Tara. I was wondering maybe you want to go out some time for coffee? food? Kisses and gay love?

Heya honeyz, I have a question, and for once I want to post it in the appropriate thread. I've heard kittens mentioning Amber's writing her own comics. Are they Buffy-ones ? And if so, which numbers exactly ? And what about the other Buffy-comics: does someone know in which issues Willow and Tara come exactly ? Yeah, after collecting all the Xena ones (except for that damn Callisto photo cover, nr. 2) I gotta get myself a new obsession, and with all the bad news spreading around, it would be cool to invest in Amber's creative juices and all. Thanks so much in advance: a URL to somebody's site would do nicely, if you can't reply here. Huggies ! ;)

Killin Joke, Amber's comics are indeed Buffy ones. They're all specials, so they're not numbered. They're also all Willow and Tara. ;)

The first one came out last year, entitled WannaBlessedBe. The next two are a twosome, called Wilderness; the first one comes out July 10, according to Dark Horse.

willow asked some demons for help regarding the ressurection? she helped demons for the spell? Joss is certainly smocking crack. is this supposed to make us think that buffyevrses willow did the same thing? are they usually related like that?

and thanks for the scans and information!

Rane, those demons/sorcerers are trying to get a witch for destroying some artefact. As yet, Willow doesn't know what they want her for. The Buffybot is not doing that well and Sunnydale might need the real Buffy. That panel I scanned is the last one of this issue.

As for Joss smoking crack... well, I believe Buffy comics are like Buffy Novels, they're in no way canon, except maybe those written by Whedon himself. So for this one, if somebody was on drugs, it would be Fassbender and Pascoe, the writers of this comic. :-) But, who knows, maybe Willow won't help those baddies !

Kalita, Amber also wrote a story for the "Tales of the Slayer" graphic Novel. You can find the scans on the Nether Realms.

Does everyone agree that the cover art for the whole Death of Buffy series is amazing?

Hey issue #45 came out last week and it did continue the thread. It mostly dealt with the ressurrection and them coming to terms with the idea. Personally I didn't like it and prior to this point I have liked much of the comics storylines. Oh well.

Yeah, I flipped through #45 when I stopped in at a shop on the weekend. A bit too cheesy with the side plot, I think, and they really didn't have to give us the "Bargaining" flashback at the end.

Well, new artists next ish, right? We'll see how they do.

I also would have preferred the Bargaining flash not be included. I also didn't particularly care for the W/T interaction after Willow announced the spell. I would have expected Willow to mention the idea to Tara and the two of them to have dicussed and argued about it more. On the other hand given how season sucks went and what happened, I suppose the way they had thing might have made sense. I still didn't like it.

I believe we do get a new writer next issue, but since we are now up to season sucks, I see little chance for anything good to be happening in the comic. They have been advancing the timeline mighty quickly and that is too bad. I may soon have to stop getting the comic. Oh well.
