Things are good. I don't know where the fuck my life is going right now and it's driving me a little mad, but I have a lot of people I care about being here for me and that's worth so much. My girl really stepped up last night, and my best friend is being super supportive, and my mum is offering helpful advice without trying to guilt me into taking it, and my brit pea and one of my sisters are both trying to help, and it feels really good to know that I have these people on my side. Things are kind of shit, cause my plans just went down the drain and making new plans is fucking hard and letting go of my old ones is probably even harder, but at the same time things are good because I feel loved and supported and it's a really wonderful feeling. I'm starting to feel like I can face this new challenge.

7 months in, I still feel so lucky to have my girl in my life. There are moments, usually the tiny insignificant ones, when I can't believe how much I love her. I know it might not last forever, but here and now forever is what I want, because I'm *happy*. Life is complicated, the relationship is complicated, but I'm happy and I love her.

I don't think I'll ever stop loving feeling like a smitten kitten. Really, if I could just get my girl into Buffy (and of course W/T) she'd be pretty much perfect. I love her even without being able to.share.my love of Whedon, and being smitten has to be once of the best feelings in the verse.

I made a B in Pharmacology! Granted I started out the semester wanting an A, but I worked pretty hard for my B and I'm proud of it. It's worth a lot more than all my easy As. And, now I have nearly 3 glorious weeks until my next semester starts.

Every single time I stop and think about my life, and especially my future, I smile. I'm happy. There's a lot I could wish different, but not a bit of it keeps me from loving my life. I hate to jinx the next few months by writing this, but 2012 has been a great year so far.

First off I still have 3 days of vacation left before I have to go back to work!

Second, Rachel has been wanting a new phone and waiting for her free one. I called and the guy said she was eligible now so she got on the phone and he gave her the choices. She took one. Then she asked when I am eligible. Not for a few months but he said I could have one anyway. We paid $321 for the phones but are getting a $50 mail in rebate and $250 account credit plus a free month of charges (around $110). So we'll come out better than we went in money wise and have new, better phones to boot. They should arrive next week. Oh, and the new phone will be compatible with Nike+ now that it's on Android (but not my current phone). Happy, happy day!

Jordan and I lean more towards dog as well, but my wifey is cat all the way. So, she's loving the new addition. We had two outside cats and one recently passed, of course it was the one Jordan had totally bonded with...hence the new kitty:) What can I say? I hate seeing my kid sad...

May sound stupid, but I feel like I made the best purchase on Saturday. I can now see all the football games of our favourite team as soon as the games are over online in full HD and all for 3 bucks a month. Since I watch the games at the university on big screen live or at the stadium, the 90 minute "delay" doesn't really matter. But Saturday afternoon games are always shown in a conference channel, so it's good to be able to rewatch the whole matches anytime. No need to get Sky for 40 bucks/month this way. YAY!

Awesome day today! Our kid spend last night and today at a friends house, giving my wife and I some much needed alone time:) We didn't get out of bed until noon, laid around the house, swam in the pool and laid around some more. Totally relaxing and perfect.

Halloween is by far my favourite holiday. Me and my best friend do a double-act every year, and we have our costumes planned out like three years in advance, but we went shopping at the weekend to start getting things ready for it.

If people on my facebook newsfeed are posting things like '16 weeks to Christmas', I think I'm justified in being excited for 8 weeks 'til Halloween

Today is opening day for the NFL and my beloved Dolphins are in town to play the Texans. My sister drove up and we're all going to the game! Totally pumped!

I had a complaint lodged with my bank for a bad IT glitch earlier in the summer that caused a service black-out for a whole month...they just called and gave me €125 compensation...wasn't expecting anything so I'm a happy camper

In 105 days I'll be visiting my girl, and in 5 months we'll be in LA for Gallifrey

I love school. I study Theater, Film and Television and it's the most fantastic studies ever! All the people are as enthusiast as I am about everything and a lot of people are seriously movie addicted, they watch Doctor Who and Buffy (which is a unicum in the Netherlands) they are creatively insane, just like me. I have to make a shortmovie for one class and in less than a day my whole movie crew including actors was complete. Everybody wants to make a contribution to everyone's work. It's like a very big family!

We have a theme party like every week. Next week it's "What you wanted to be when you grow up, when you were little" and the week after that it's "One night in Vegas". And I realize that maybe I should be too old for all these things, but I love it. Everyone is very social and openminded.

Oh and the best thing is that I met someone. Why does everybody always meet someone in college?

The only downside is that on my free days, like today, I am stuck in the library all day to finish some papers about MacBeth, Poetin's propaganda, his censorship and Pussy Riot...

BUT I LOVE IT

Today my mother came over to bring me the season ticket and some other stuff. We had coffee, some really good talk and it was just really nice to talk to someone in person for the first time in like three weeks. It was fun and for this week I can once again call myself a proud owner of a season icket. Our team won last nights game. I talked to my best friend for almost four hours last night on the phone, which was a lot of fun as well. My copy of "Frozen Heat" finally arrived earlier today and I'm finally starting to feel just a little bit better.
Oh, and in a little more than an hour the German Women's national team will play Turkey in the final Euro-Qualification match. Yes, I especially enjoy the little things in life these days.

I'm finally feeling well enough to donate blood tomorrow, assuming my iron is high enough. I got sick almost 2 months ago, and it feels good to finally be really well again.

Last night's Doctor Who was brilliant. I have to admit that I've been a bit tired of Amy and of the entire show, mostly because of the level of obsession in my house. And with the exception of the first episode of the season, I've found them mostly forgettable this season. But this was just wonderful and perfect.
