posted 01-25-2001 01:29 EST (US) I, too, am enjoying the way both Willow and Tara seem to be more and more comfortable with the openness of their relationship, their sexuality, and each other. Could it be more perfect? I doubt it. On the Glory front, someone mentioned that maybe she had the Key until recently, when the monks got a hold of it.
Ben has mentioned cleaning up Glory's messes all the time, including summoning the Quellor demon. Is it possible HE is responsible for Glory's losing the Key? Maybe he took it away from her, even going so far as to give it to the monks, to keep it away from Glory and to make sure she doesn't do...whatever it is she plans to do with it. Oh, and while I'm on the subject, I've been thinking about the use of the word god ever since Travers brought it up. He says Glory is a god. I disagree, at least on the basis of what I would consider a god to be. To me, a god is a more or less all-powerful, all-knowing entity. We don't know the extent of Glory's power, so I can't comment on it, but after Checkpoint we know for a fact she is NOT omniscient. She had the Key right in front of her and was completely oblivious, so there are limits to her abilities. My guess is that Glory is an exceptionally powerful entity, something far beyond a traditional demon, and that she was once (or perhaps still is in some circles) worshipped AS a god. It's not the same thing, exactly, but Travers and his crew would have no other frame of reference and thus no other word to describe her. ------------------ Kirk B "Even when I'm at my worst, you always make me feel special.
