Hi, um Tara..how are you? well...I was wondering maybe you want to go out some time...for coffee? food? Kisses and gay love?

hi kitties- o.k here's the next part- but after this one my updates might be a couple of days apart because i've got to go back to school tomorrow cause i've been on half term holiday this week . Yay for homework! (not)

but i'll try to update as much as i can. - dedicated to snuggle79 and kitties.



Rating- pg13? (for violence and 1 or 2 swear words) and i can't make it any older than my age









PART 13









Willow was still following the little green light .

But it was so slow ,Willow needed to get to Tara , she had to get to her love.



Giles and Xander were following closely behind,Willow suddenly came to a halt , she put her arm behind her, motioning Giles and Xander to stop



"Willow what-?" Xander began with a confused look on his face until Willow interrupted.



"Ssshh!," Willow hushed , she knew she could hear something, her ears were straining to hear as her face showed her concentration.



All of a sudden an ear piercing scream echoed through the dark, hollow tunnel walls.



"Oh god!," Willow said as she ran towards the voice, she knew it was Tara and she knew that she was in pain.



Xander and Giles were both very worried about this as they sprinted behind Willow, with determined looks on their faces.



Just hold on baby, we're almost there Willow thought in her head with tears streaming down her cheeks.

Tara continued to scream , the creatures face was horrifying ,intense pain was ripping through her, a puddle of blood was forming beneath her from her stab wound.





Tara's eyes were squeezed shut as tears soaked her cheeks.

The creature was still chanting , the ritual was almost complete.





At that moment Willow, Giles and Xander came bursting through the door, the two demons saw this and blocked their path.



"Get out of my way! ," Willow shouted becoming angry , the demon raised it's hand to strike her when Xander came lunging forward and knocked the demon back.



Willow saw this was her chance to get to her love, she ran past the demon as Giles took an axe and began fighting with the other demon.



Xander punched the demon smack in the jaw as the demon pushed Xander off from on top of him.

Xander went crashing to the floor but got back up and carried on to attack the creature.





Giles had axed the demon , who was slumped on the floor and went over to Xander and began to help him, who was at that moment being strangled by the demon.





Willow was running towards her love when she stopped short, just 3 feet away from her love, she looked at the scene , Tara was shackled to the floor , with a puddle of blood growing underneath her, she was screaming in pain.



Willow looked up to see the creatures frightening face, it was too horrifying to describe.



Willow could see that the creature was chanting and she had to stop it.



She ran forward and lunged at the creature, they both fell to the floor with a thud.



"You stupid bitch!," The creature screamed in Willow's face.



Willow was on top of the creature who was lead on the floor , the creature began to levitate Willow off of itself.



Willow's eyes were wide with shock as she was floating horizontally facing the creature lead on the floor.



Willow thrust her own hands out and began to chant sending the creature skidding across the floor away from Tara.





Willow fell and smacked onto the floor, "Owe,"she whispered with her eyes shut.



She opened them to see Tara's limp form lead on the floor , surrounded with blood , sweat dripping off of her face and blood running from her nose.



Tara was on her stomach on the floor , her hands still shackled and her face turned to the side with her eyes shut.



Willow pushed herself up and began to try and run to her love , but was stopped by the creature who used an enormous amount of force and threw Willow over into the cage, where Tara was kept earlier.

Willow hit the wall as the gate slammed shut.





Willow groggily got up as she went towards the cage door and shook it, it was locked from the outside and she couldn't reach around to unlock it.





"Now, you're going to watch," The creature said as it looked at Willow , Willow couldn't understand how it could look at her considering it had no eyes.







The creature began to carry on chanting as Tara's body arched up and her mouth opened and gasped as she was too weak to scream.





"NO,NO!! ,TARA!!," Willow screamed with a pained face as she watched her lover in torture.



"STOP IT! ,STOP IT!! ," Willow screamed rattling the bars as tears streamed down her cheeks.



The creature ignored her and carried on with the chanting.



Willow had to think of a spell , she had to do something.

She closed her eyes and shook her head as she thought , she had to do something.



She was pulled out of her thoughts by a rattling of the cage door.

She opened her eyes to see Xander smiling at her, his eye was swolen shut and his lip was split but apart from that he seemed o.k.



Xander opened the gate and Willow ran out .

Giles was battling with the creature , he took out a small bottle and smashed it on the floor.



"Willow! ,get Tara!! ," Giles shouted as he continued to battle with the creature.





Willow ran to Tara's limp form, Tara was lead on her front, her head was rested to one side, she had a bruise on her cheekbone, sweat down her face, blood underneath her stomach on the floor and blood coming out of her nose.



"Tara, baby?," Willow said with a pained face as she began to unlock the shackles.



She took Tara by the shoulders, turned her over and put her head in her lap.



Willow put two fingers to Tara's neck and found a pulse although it was weak.

Willow got her first look at Tara's stomach.

"Oh,god," She said with eyes wide as she saw the blood coming from it.



Xander's eyes went wide as he took his shirt off , he rolled it up and pressed it to Tara's wound.



Willow stroked Tara's hair out of her face ,"Come on Tara, baby open your eyes for me," Willow pleaded with tear soaked cheeks.



"Please, baby open your eyes," Willow pleaded as she stroked Tara's cheek and rocked her.

Tara let out a tiny whimper that could hardly be heard.



"Just hold on baby, i'll take care of you, you have to hold on for me," Willow pleaded kissing Tara's forehead.



The smoke was beginning to clear as Giles' form came closer.



Xander looked up and saw him "Giles?" Xander asked.



"Yes, it's dead," Giles confirmed. as his figure was now clear.



They didn't know how Giles had killed it, but they weren't going to question him, right now they were more concerned about Tara.



"Giles, we have to get her to a hospital , i can't loose her again," Willow looked up into Giles' eyes referring to when Tara was brainsucked by Glory.



"Giles, she's lost a lot of blood , we have to get her to a hospital," Willow said panicking as she held Tara's cold ,limp hand.



"Yes, we'll have to carry her out, and call an ambulance as soon as we get outside," Giles said keeping calm.



"I'm on it," Xander said as he began to pick Tara up.



Tara let out a small whimper "Carefull," Willow said to Xander looking at her love with sad eyes, she hated to see Tara in so much pain.



Tara whimpered, she couldn't feel Willow's presence and needed contact with her.



"I'm here baby," Willow said as she took Tara's hand .



The four of them headed out.



As they got outside Xander carefully handed Tara to Giles as he ran to find a phone.



Giles layed Tara on the floor and put his jumper underneath her head to make her comfortable.

Giles was pressing Xander's jumper onto Tara's wound, the jumper that was once cream was now red from the blood.





Willow was cradling Tara's head as she held her hand, and stroked her cheek.



Tara was starting to find breathing a difficulty as she began to wheeze.



"Tara? Tara take deep breaths honey , try to take deep breaths- please for me," Willow cried trying to keep calm , not sure whether Tara could hear her..............

o.k here's the next part- luckily i've finished all of my homework and have time to update (well nearly all of it)

NOTE:

oh and some of the medical stuff in this might sound a bit wrong if anyone is a nurse or doctor out there- cause i had no idea what i was writing about- most of the stuffs off of E.R -lol









PART 14











"The ambulance should be here soon," Giled tried to comfort Willow.



They waited another 5 minutes in silence as Willow continued to comfort Tara.



"Giles! where are they?, we can't wait much longer, i can't loose her Giles, i - ," Willow stopped to hear the sounds of sirens.



Willow was partially relieved , an ambulance swerved around the corner, the paramedics got out carrying a red bag full of equipment.



"What happened?," The male paramedic asked Willow as he knelt down next to Tara.



"S-she was stabbed," Willow said to him partially dazed with tear soaked cheeks.



"Alex! ,get the stretcher," The male paramedic shouted to his partner who opened the doors to the ambulance.



The male paramedic checked Tara's pulse .



"B.P's 85/80 ," He noted aloud to himself.



"Is that bad?," Willow asked him worried.



"I'm afraid it's not good," he said honestly and sympathetically as he took out an oxygen mask and bag over her mouth, he began squeezing the bag to try and help her breathe.



The second paramedic came down witha stretcher .

Giles stood out of the way and took the jumper away so the paramedics could see how severe the injury was.



"How long has she been unconscious?," The first paramedic asked as the second paramedic began to examin Tara's wound.



"Um, about half an hour," Willow said as she looked at down at Tara, still cradling her hand and face.



"O.k, we need to move fast , she's lost a lot of blood and her breathing is shallow," the first paramedic said to the second.



The paramedic looked at Giles ,"could you carry on squeezing this bag, every 3 seconds, while we move her onto the stretcher?," He asked Giles.



"Yes, yes, of course," Giles said as he began squeezing the bag.



The 2 paramedics began to lift Tara as Willow still held her hand.

"Careful," Willow said in a pained voice as they strapped her into the stretcher.



Willow never took her eyes off of her lover.



"I'm sorry, but there's only one person can come in the ambulance," The paramedic said looking between Willow and Giles.



"Willow, you go, i'll meet you there," Giles said as Willow nodded and stepped inside the vehicle.



The doors slammed shut.



Willow was sat with one of the paramedics , Willow was cradling Tara's hand , it seemed cold , Willow tried to warm it up.



Willow studied Tara's face, she looked pale and sweaty. My poor Tara Willow thought as tears began to fall.



The paramedic began to set an I.V up, he carefully stuck the needle into Tara's hand which caused a spout of blood to come out.



Willow gasped and looked at him .

"Don't worry, it's natural," he reassured her as he hooked up the tube into the I.V and hooked a bag full of fluid onto a pole.



He also set up a heart monitor , her heart rate was slow and weak.



Willow ws crying freely, not caring that she was doing so in front of a stranger.



"Are you her sister?," The paramedic asked , he suspected she was a close family member , with how much care and love the red head showed the injured one.



"Um, no i'm her lover," Willow replied never taking her eyes off of her lover for a second.



"Oh , o.k," he said smiling politely at Willow.



"once she gets into hospital , she'll need surgery and blood transfusion," he said to her.



"will she be o.k?," Willow asked as she looked up at him with tears in her eyes, she wanted a straight answer.



"I'm sure she'll be fine," He said to her offering her a sympathetic smile.



All of a sudden the heart monitor started to bleep faster.



"Alex! , we're losing her!! ," he shouted to his partner, as he began to pick up his speed.



"Oh God!," Willow screamed as she began to cry hysterically, squeezing Tara's hand.



The paramedic got the shock panels out ready.



Willow saw this and her eyes went wide.

"NO,NO!," She began to scream shaking her head.

PART 15









Willow leaned down to Tara and put her hand on her head.



"Tara , you listen to me, you're not going to die, you have to come back to me, please baby," With this said Willow broke down crying hysterically on Tara's chest.





The paramedic was getting ready to charge the panels, when Tara's heart beat started to make a slow steady rhythm on the monitor.



Willow's eyes were closed as she could hear Tara's heart making the beautiful pitter patter that she knew so well.



Willow opened her eyes and looked at the machine , she saw it's slow steady rhythm.



Willow made a small smile , grateful that Tara held on, she clasped Tara's hand with both of hers and brang it to her lips and kissed the fingers.



"Thank you baby," Willow whispered as she touched Tara's cheek.



"I think she heard you," The paramedic said smiling at Willow.



She looked up at him and smiled back.

"She's my girl," Willow said to him smiling as she focused back on her lover.





The ambulance came to a stop as they arrived at the hospital.



They rushed to get Tara inside , as soon as they got in, Tara was sent straight to surgery.





Willow was sat in one of the stuffed chairs in the waiting room, she was sat forward with her elbows on her knees and her head in her hands.



It had been five minutes , but to Willow it felt like an eternity without her love.







Giles, Xander, Anya and Dawn entered the waiting room .



"Oh god Willow," Dawn was the first to run to Willow , who stood up and cuddled the teen.



They drew apart.



"She's in surgery," Willow said looking at the group.



Giles was stood with his hands in his pockets, Anya was stood clinging to Xanders arm and Dawn was by Willow.



They were all silent , none of them knew what to say, even Anya was quietly staring at the floor.



Willow noticed this and realized that Anya was quite close to Tara aswell.





Twenty minutes had passed, and it was still silent .

Willow was staring into nothing thinking about Tara and praying that she would be okay.



Everyone else was staring either at the walls or the floor.



It stayed silent until Anya spoke up.

"Why are they taking so long?," Anya asked getting more worried about her friend by the minute.





No one answered , she realised that she wouldn't get an answer , so she just carried on being silent and thinking of the possibilities of why they were taking so long.



Another 15 minutes had passed until the door opened and a female doctor came in wearing scrubs.



Willow looked up and stood up quickly .



The doctor looked at Willow .

"Are you Miss Rosenberg?," she asked .



"Yes , how is she?, is she okay?," Willow asked anxiously.



"Um, would you like to discuss Miss Maclays condition ina more private room?," The female doctor asked lookin at the group.



"No it's okay , we're all family," Willow replied not taking her eyes off of the doctor.



"Okay , i'm doctor Williams," Doctor Williams offered her hand to Willow who shook it.



"Is Tara okay?," Willow asked becoming impatient.



"Well Miss Maclay suffered from a very serious stab wound, it didn't hit any vital organs, but she did loose a lot of blood , th surgery went well , and she's been stitched upand is in transfusion right now replacing the blood that she lost," Doctor Williams explained.



Willow felt like some weight had been lifted off of her shoulders as she breathed a sigh of relief.



"Is she awake?, can i see her?," Willow asked anxiously.



"She's currently unconscious, and will be until she feels ready to wake up, she was very weak when she came in and it is possible hat she may be unconscious for even more than 4 days," The doctor explained looking into Willow's eyes.



"She also has a numerous amount of bruises when she was brought in , and we had to stitch her left cheek," The doctor further explained.



Willow was biting the inside of her cheek knowing that the creature and her demons had hurt Tara even more than they already had and that Tara wasn't going to be emotionally stable for a long time.





"was she attacked?," The doctor asked .



"Um, yes," Willow said not really sure whether that was a sensible answer.



"Do you want to phone the police and give details on the attack?," Doctor Williams asked.



"Ummm.......," Willow paused not sure what to say until Giles stepped in.



"Um , i was there , i'll explain to you," Giles said motioning to go ouside.





The doctor complied as she began to lead the way outside.







After 5 minutes the doctor came back in , followed by Giles,.



Willow began to speak.

"I-," but was cut off by the doctor.



"No, it's okay, i know what happened," The doctor replied smiling at Willow.



"You can come by and visit Miss Maclay when you're ready, she's in room 309 on the second floor," Doctor Williams said as she left the small waiting room.



"Giles, what-?," Xander began to ask what Giles what he had told the doctor knowing that he couldn't have told her the truth.



"It doesn't matter," Giles replied.





Willow began to move out of the room , to get to Tara.



"Will , do you want us to come with?," Xander asked .



"Um, can i have some time by myself first?," Willow asked the group.



"Of course," Giles replied as he nodded to her.



Willow smiled and left the small waiting room , as she made her way to room 309.

And now listen to me, listen very carefully to me: Don't be so negative about yourself all the time. It's not good! It's not important if you have one or two, five or twenty persons on your list. Just because you have a list full of names doesn't always mean the best. Believe me. I have just a few more persons on my own than you and it's totally ok like that. Better to have only a hand full of really good and trustable friends than 20 wannabe friends, you know?

Writing exciting cliffhanger endings is a good thing if you're an author, so that was a compliment. Although as a fan, they leave us on the edge of our seats until the nice author comes along with an update. Thank you for the update on Tara's condition.

PART 16











The white halls of the hospital were busy , full of patients, doctors and equipment.



Willow made her way to the elevator.

She kept on thinking - what would have happened if she had gotten there sooner , could she have saved Tara from so much pain? what would have happened if she hadn't gotten there in time?



Willow had finally gotten to room 309 , she took a deep breath , preparing herself , she slowly opened the door.



She gasped as she saw her lover, it didn't seem natural , none of it seemed natural.



Her lover was lead there with numerous amounts of tubes, wires and bleeping.





Willow made her way to her love, she pulled up a chair next to her bed and gently took Tara's hand in hers , she carefully tried to warm up her lover's hand without touching the I.V protruding out of her skin.



Willow looked at her lover with sad eyes,.

Tara was pale , she had a thick tube stuck into her neck for her blood transfusion, she had another tube coming out of her right forearm and another coming from the I.V in her left hand.



Tara had wires coming out from underneath her hospital gown which was recording her heart rate.



Willow stroked Tara's golden strands away from her face and began to whisper loving words to her.





"Tara baby, you have to come back to me," Willow whispered looking at her lover's pale face.



"Come on baby, come back to me, i love you so much," The red head continued to whisper needing to see her lover's beautiful blue eyes.



Willow carried on waiting , studying her lover.





There was a knock at the door.

"Come in," Willow said weakly not taking her eyes off of her love.





"Hey Will, how is she?," Xander asked as he entered followed by the rest of the group.



"She's having blood transfusion right now," Willow said quietly looking at her and her lover's entwined hands.



Xander moved into the corner and sat in the chair, followed by Anya who sat on his knee.



Dawn moved to the opposite side of the bed and took Tra's other hand , she looked at her with sad eyes.



Giles was stood in the corner, he felt terrible, he wished he could have done more for her.





"When will she wake up?," Dawn asked still holding Tara's hand and looking up at Willow.



"Um the doctor said that it might be a while," Willow told Dawn in a quiet voice.



They were all silent- the only noise in the room was the bleeping of the heart monitor piercing through the silence.



And so they carried on waiting in silence for another couple of hours, until the gang decided to leave, they tried to convince Willow to at least come home , have a shower and eat a decent meal, but she refused , she stayed rooted to Tara's side.





Willow had been waiting for 2 days, she had made a quick trip home once to shower and change her clothes and then she came straight back.



There was no change of her lovers condition after 3 days.



The doctors had came in several times a day and checked her vitals , but there was no change.





Willow was becoming more worried by the day. She couldn't understand why her love wouldn't wake up.







Willow decided to bring some of Tara's favourite things in, Willow brought some of her favourite scented candles, some stuffed toys and the dolls eye crystal that Willow and Tara had shared.



Willow took Tara's hand and brought it to the dolls eye crystal , Willow let the crystal rest in the blonde witche's hand, she wrapped Tara's fingers around it wondering if the blonde knew what was happening.





Willow stayed by her love's side, she lit the candles and began to whisper to Tara.



"Tara baby, i'm still here, still waiting for you to open your beautiful eyes," Willow whispered as she kissed the blondes forehead.



Tara still had the dolls eye crystal rested in her limp hand and Willow was holding her other hand.





Willow was sat mesmerized at the blonde's face when all of a sudden she felt a tiny squeeze on her hand.



Willow blinked and sat up quickly, she stared at their entwined hands , she felt and saw another gentle squeeze.



She looked up hopefully at Tara's face, her eyes were still shut but they twitched and she moved her head slightly.



"Tara?," Willow touched Tara's cheek.



"Come on baby, come back to me," Willow whispered.



Tara's head moved again but her eyes still remained closed.



"Please baby, come back to me," She whispered as she kissed Tara's cheek.





Tara groaned quietly and her head moved again.



"Will?," She barely whispered with her eyes still closed.



"Yes baby, i'm here," Willow said as she beamed with joy and had tears in her eyes.



"Willow," Tara said again as she swallowed with her eyes still closed.



"Oh, baby, i'm so glad you came back to me," Willow said smiling as she touched Tara's cheek.



Tara eyes began to flutter open as she looked at Willow with tired eyes.



"I love you Willow," She said quietly.



"I love you too baby," Willow said as she kissed her lover on the lips.
