*PART 10*







"Come on Wil lets get you inside, do some research and we'll find her," Xander said as he moved forward and placed his hand on Willows shoulder trying to comfort her.



Willows face was wet with tears as she stood up ,sniffled and moved inside the Magic Box.





Half an hour had passed and Giles, Willow ,Dawn and Anya were still researching , Xander was taping black lining to some of the broken windows.



Willow was looking nervous and Giles noticed this.

"Don't worry Willow , i'm sure Taras fine," Giles said trying to reassure Willow.



"How can you say that Giles?, what if Taras dream was prophetic , like the ones Buffy used to have?,that could be happening to Tara right now , and we're just sitting here , she means everything to me Giles, i can't loose her , not again," Willow said looking Giles in the eyes trying to hold back a sob.





It was silent for another 5 minutes , when all of a sudden Anya spoke up.



"Ooh! , i think i've found something!! ," Anya said excitedly, looking up from what she was reading.



"Anya , will you please stop reading those fashion magazines," Giles said in his annoyed voice.



"No , i've found something on that creature! ," Anya said smiling at everyone , holding out the book.



Everyone looked surprised at Anya and Giles took the book from her.

Xander walked over to the table and sat next to Anya , Giles began to read the text.



"It says that the creature name is Aracknel , it plans to summon every single demon, vampire and evil creature on the planet to form an army to take over the world and use every single human being as a slave," Giles said with a horrified look on his face as he took off his glasses and rubbed the brim of his nose.





"Well , what else does it say?, where has it taken Tara?, Willow asked quickly , very worried.



"It says that it needed a human , a sacrifice , with enough mystical power to be able to summon these demons , but it's mystical power had to be pure good , to balance out with the creatures pure evil , these two powers combined could summon the evil," Giles explained in an easier sense from what the text said.



"Giles , where's the creatures' layer?, where is it going to perform this ritual?," Willow asked becoming more anxious and frustrated by the minute.



"The creatures layer is in a crypt held underneath the Church exactly North of the hellmouth," Giles continued to explain.



"Well what are we waiting for , we have to go save Tara, just get all the weapons we need ," Willow said rushing her speech. She needed to get to Tara before something happened.



"Wait Willow .............," Giles began but then paused.



"What , what is it Giles ?." Willow asked becoming more anxious and annoyed that Giles was wasting time .



"It says that to perform the ritual , it needs her blood to set the circle , when the ritual is complete Tara either would have bled to death , or been drained of all her energy until she died," Giles said taking off his glasses , not being able to look Willow in the eyes.





"Well , we'll stop it before it can start the ritual ," Willow said walking closer to the training room to get weapons.



"Willow , we don't know how to stop it," Giles said rubbing his forehead.



"Easy , i kill it," Willow said as she walked into the training room.



Giles sighed knowing that he couldn't change Willows mind.





Willow grabbed a black duffel bag and filled it up with weapons.

She came back into the shop and went up the stairs up to the section of incredibly dangerous magic books and shoved them into the bag.





"Willow , is this necessary there can be other ways without putting yourself in jeopardy ," Giles said as he stood up and faced Willow who was coming down the stairs.



"Giles , i don't care, i have to get Tara back," The red haired wiccan replied as she finally came down the stairs.



Giles didn't say anything ,he knew he would have done the same if it was someone he loved.





Willow passed him and went behind the counter to get some ingredients , she put them in her bag , Willow paused facing away from the group waiting for Anya to complain about Willow not paying.



"It's o.k ," Anya spoke up , Willow turned around at this and faced them.



"I know what you're thinking , i'm not going to complain , if it's going to help Tara ," Anya said looking at Willow witha sympathetic smile .



Willow was touched by this , she smiled and nodded gratefully at Anya.



"Thats my girl," Xander said proudly whilst smiling at Anya.



"Right are we all set to go ?," Willow asked everyone.



"Um...Anya will you stay here with Dawn?," Giles asked.



"Sure," Anya replied trying to be helpful.



"But Giles-," Dawn began to protest .



"Dawn -," this time Xander butt in.

"it would be easier to save Tara if we all knew you were safe here ," Xander explained sympathetically.



Dawn paused and realized he was right , if she wanted Tara to be o.k , she would have to stay out of the way.



Dawn looked up at Xander and Giles "O.k, bring Tara home safely," Dawn said smiling sadly at Xander and Giles.



"Okay , are we set to go?," Willow asked wasting no time to get to her love.



"Yes , i think we're set," Giles replied.



Willow nodded as her ,Xander and Giles began to walk out of the shop.

PART 11







Tara groaned as she began to regain consciousness, she began to open her eyes to find that she was blind folded.



Her hands were tied behind her back and she was now sat up on the stone cold floor.



She was sat up against a wall, she could hear shuffling and clanging , it sounded like someone was preparing something.



She felt like the presence of the room felt familiar some how - then it came to her , it was her dream. It must have been some kind of prophecy.

She remembered how much pain she was in, and she silently sobbed.

'willow, where are you?' She thought silently crying in her head.



Time seemed to take forever , she was just sat there cold, hungry, very uncomfortable and she had a head-ache that she knew would get worse.



She didn't know what to do, she had no magic, she was tied up and couldn't do anything.

Then she realized that she hadn't heard anything for about 5 minutes, she had to do something.



She decided to try and get up.

She knelt back against the dusty wall and crouched her feet and legs up underneath her and was finally stood up from an enormous amount of effort.



She scurried along sideways with her back against the wall, she was pacing the perimeter using her hand as a guide to follow the walls path.



All of a sudden her head hit something hard and she heard a huge clang.



"OWE!," She said out loud making a pained face.



'Well that's going to make my head-ache a whole lot worse' she thought in her head.



She turned 90 degrees so that her back was facing the thing her head had just hit, she felt cold,rusty bars.



She must have been in some kind of cage.



'There must be some kind of gate or door' she thought as she went along .

All of a sudden a strong arm clamped around her throat , she couldn't breathe.



"Stupid witch, no point in trying to escape, you will die soon enough," It said as it pushed Tara forward, she fell on the floor with a thud as pain shot through her torso.



'Stupid demon' she thought spitting out dust that had crept into her mouth.



The right side of her cheek was stinging , she knew that it was cut , she knew that she probably had a bruise there aswell.



She curled herself up and sat up slowly with an enormous amount of effort, her arms were aching because they were so tightly tied behind her back.

Willow was infront of Giles and Xander, she was power walking even though her legs were aching , Giles and Xander were lightly jogging to keep up with her.



Willow was quite far ahead of Xander and Giles , she stopped and turned around to face them.



"Come on guys, you're holding me back," Willow shouted before she turned back and carried on power walking down the street.



Xander and Giles stopped for a second .

Giles had his hands on his knees as he crouched down and took off his glasses as he wiped his brow.



"Dear lord," Giles said breathlessly panting.



"Willow - never - used to - be good -at gym ," Xander said breathlessly and a bit confused.



"Well- she's like -Linford - Christy - when - Taras - in - danger," Giles gasped as he put his glasses back on and stood up straight.



"Come on," Giles said tapping Xanders arm as they set off again.



5 minutes later they finally reached the opening of the crypt they were looking for.



Willow slowly opened the door as it creaked , Xander switched on a flash light as they stepped inside the darkness.



Cobwebs and spiders surrounded the inside .

There were long tunnels and corridors going in different directions.



"Well , which way do we go , shall we split up or-?," Xander began looking down the long dark tunnels.



"We don't need to split up," Willow said as she set the black duffel bag on the dusty floor.

She took out an old spell book and opened it.

She held out her palm and read from the text.



She began to chant as a small ball of luminous green light appeared floating in her hand.



"Search for my love," She said as the luminous green ball flickered and slowly set off in the direction where Tara was being held.



"nice goin' Will ," Xander said gratefully knowing that he wouldn't have to go down an eerie dark corridor if they had to split up.



Xander and Giles followed Willow as they set out down the far left corridor.

Tara didn't know what to do , she couldn't do anything , she just sat there thinking of Willow.

Tara wished that she had been more honest with Willow and taken the time to love her that little bit more.



Tara began to cry "Willow , i love you ," she said out loud as she carried on crying with her head facing downwards and her chin resting on her chest.





She jumped to the sound of keys clattering , she automatically looked up to where the noise situated even though she couldn't see anything.



"Now child , i need blood, stay calm and i'll make it less painful ," The creatures voice was heard echoing through Taras skull .

Tara let out a small whimper as she heard footsteps coming closer.................................................

See now that's a cliffhanger of a place to stop. It's like in those old television shows. cheesy announcer voice Can Willow find Tara in time? Will they be able to kill the creature and stop the ritual? Find out next time. Or maybe not. Either way, I'll be waiting for another great update.

PART 12









The dark corridors seemed to be never ending, but Willow pursued onwards, she had to find Tara , she had to get there before anything happened, but what if something already had happened she thought in her head. No , no negative thoughts, she had to stay strong for Tara.

Tara scurried backwards until she hit the wall , there was nowhere else to go- no way out.

Tara's breathing was becoming more erratic, she was trapped and knew that she was going to be in pain very soon.

She could feel that the creature was infront of her now.



"Now child, don't scream , it's very annoying," It said as it clamped it's hand around Taras mouth.



Tara was so scared she couldn't see a thing , a deathly cold hand was covering her mouth, i felt rough, and very , very inhuman.





It was silent for another 10 seconds then all of a sudden the creature plunged a sacred knife right into the depths of Taras stomach.



The creature knew exactly where to stab Tara , a destination where it could get enough blood to finish the presentation of the ritual , but not in a place where it would kill her , because it need Taras essence and physical body for the ritual.



Tara felt a sharp object plunge into her stomach , sending an excruciating pain throughout her torso , she screamed in agony , but it was muffled from the cold hand clamped around her mouth.

Her head fell forward from the pain as tears rolled down her cheeks.



The creature pulled out the knife and collected Taras blood in a wooden bowl.



Taras breaths were short and shallow to reduce the amount of pain that her body was experiencing.



The creature slowly pulled off Taras blindfold, but her eyes were shut from the pain.



The creature turned around and walked out of the cage slamming the door shut behind it.



Tara was whimpering and began to pull her knees up to her stomach and put pressure on her stab wound because her hands were still tied behind her back. Her eyes were squeezed shut and her teeth were clenched together as she began to pull her knees up.



Her breathing was erratic , she tried to slow her breathing down, to slow her heart rate and blood flow so she wouldn't loose so much blood.



After a while she was starting to get used to the pain , although it was excruciating , she slowly began to open her eyes.



Her vision was slightly blurred because she was squeezing them so tight before.

She scanned the cage , it was just dusty stone walls with bars at the front, and a gate which was sealed witha padlock, it seemed alot bigger when she was blind folded.



Infront of her , she could see the creature pouring her blood in a circle around the pentagram , just like the one in her dream, no it was the one in her dream she thought.





The two demons were stood on the outside of her cage in the two corners guarding.



She was starting to get even more scared than she was before.



The creature had finished setting up the ritual, and placed the bowl on the side. It nodded towards the two demons.



The two demons turned towards Tara , whose blue eyes went wide as she gasped knowing what was going to happen next.



The demons unlocked the cage door and began to come inside .

Tara tried to scurry into the far corner , but it was extremely difficult with the condition she was in.



She knew Willow would try to come and save her , but she wasn't sure if she would come in time.

Tara was trying to buy Willow enough time as she possibly could.



Her stab wound was burning with pain and her top was soaked with blood , and it wouldn't stop.



The demons were staring at her with their evil eyes, Tara was looking up at them with tears soaking down her cheeks.



They roughly grabbed her arms, not caring that she was in pain.



Tara squeezed her eyes shut in pain and whimpered as the demons lifted her up and started dragging her towards the pentagram................







The creature was stood as still as a statue , parallel to the pentagram , it's face was still not seen.



the two demons roughly shoved Tara down to the floor.



She was sat cross legged on the floor of the pentagram , one of the demons reached behind Tara and untied her.





Tara automatically pulled her hands to her wound and pressed on it to try and ease the pain and slow the blood flow - for this action Tara was punished with a punch on her face from one of the demons, Tara yet again whimpered .



Her head hurt , her stomach hurt, her cheek, her eye, her arms and her legs were also aching.

Tara just wanted it to end.







The demons each grabbed one of Taras wrists and shackled to the floor so she couldn't escape.



Tara didn't understand why she was here and why the creature was doing this to her.



"W-why are you d-doing this," Tara struggled.



"Dear child , i need you to reign hell on Earth, to summon every single evil soul on this planet," The creature voice could be heard through the darkness under it's hood.



"W-why did you s-steal my m-magic?," Tara stuttered still breathing heavily .



"I couldn't possibly capture you with your powers aswell , you are far too powerful, so i needed to separate you into two parts, magic and physical, that way i had a chance to take you for my plans," It explained calmly.



Tara shook her head as she stared at the floor , she couldn't believe this was happening , although it was sunnydale.





Taras breathing was short and erratic , she had ran out of tears and was thinking of Willow .

She was thinking about how much she loved her, how much Willow meant to her.



The two demons moved to the back of the room and stood watching.



As soon as the demons were still and the room was as quiet as death.

The creatures eerie voice was heard chanting in an evil wiry voice, it was too quick and Tara couldn't understand it.





Tara suddenly felt very light headed, the room was starting to spin, pain was slowly travelling through her body and was growing and becoming more intense every second, Taras breathing was faster than a speeding train.



Intense pain was ripping through her brain and her entire body , she was sweating and she couldn't focus.



Tara felt like her insides were being ripped out and her soul was being shredded.





The creature knew that the ritual was almost complete, as it began to pull it's hood down.



Tara couldn't hold the pain in any longer , she let out a blood curdling scream as she stared at the creatures horrifying face with eyes wide in shock.............................................
