Amber in new issue of UK Buffy magazine

Whoo-hoo, she and Aly are on the cover!
The interview looks pretty good and up to date, haven't had time to read it all yet, though. There are also some new photos from the S6 publicity shoot, including one gorgeous side-on shot where she's smiling and you can see all the safety pins on that top, and .. err .. well, I'll just have to scan it so you can drool for yourselves.

I would love either the photo or interview whenever you get the time. I'm curious does the magazine come out early in the UK or is the magazine on sale in the States now? Also is the interview a joint interview with both Aly and Amber or just Amber?

Vamp No1, the UK and US magazine are entirely different entitites. The company that used to publish the US Buffy mag pulled the plug on it for some reason, but now another company is running it. It remains to be seen whether they will share content (i.e. stuff from one edition ending up in another: I never used to buy the UK mag b/c it was full of stuff that had already been printed in the US one) as they have in the past. So the Amber interview may turn up in the US mag eventually, but don't hold your breath.

Thanks Tyche for the information. I was just confused because I know the UK is now publishing the new US edition. Also having the first US edition I saw them promoting an Amber interview regarding the break-up, and was curious if it was the same article. Thanks again!

Hi all! Newbie here!!
As a UK fan, I've read the interview, and it is great!! Some lovely photo's of Amber looking v.sexy and some cute ones of W/T.
I don't have the interview on me otherwise I'd transcribe it for you all, but I'm sure someone will post it soon!
The interview confirms once again that Amber is such a fantastic person! Even the editor said that she is' arguably the nicest actress on Buffy!' Awwww!

Well, must get back to work, but I'll be lurking! Love this board!

I'm racking my brain to dredge up what I can remember of the interview!
*She talked about the musical episode, and how Joss made 'Under Your Spell' higher than her natural range on purpose, to 'give her something to aim for!'
*Amber also mentioned that she thought Aly did a great job singing the few lines she had in the ep.
*Also talked about how they did the spinning-round-in-the-park-straight-into-their-bedroom scene! She called it 'cheesy-easy'! They rigged up a fake forest scene on the set so they spun round in there and into the bedroom, then cut it together with the location footage.
(please bear in mind that I am paraphrasing quite a lot here, as I can't remember the exact words she used!)
*She was asked what it was like playing 'brain-sucked Tara' and said it was great, she got be crazy and 'run around in her pajamas and glasses'! She also said that she was exhausted during the shooting, as she was working on 'Chance' at the same time, and would keep falling asleep! Her stand-in was great, and James Marsters had to nudge her awake when they were about to film a scene!
*Amber also said that she thinks Willow and Tara will get back together and that she really enjoys playing Tara, and how Joss/Marti et al have portayed the relationship.

Phew! I think my brain just burnt out!! I have a semi-photographic memory which I think just came in real handy!!

Whenever I see a quote from Amber stating how much she ejoys playing Tara and the W/T relationship it gives me hope that she will be signing a new contract for next season. From what I understand she has always signed hers over the summer.

It's a really good looking cover, even if it is made up of Tara S6 promo shot and Willow S5 promo shot. Great just to see them both together, and the pics inside are excellent!
