I'm incredibly grateful to you guys for managing this, so please don't think I'm whining, but is anybody else having trouble with parts 2 and 5? They're encountering errors when I try to unzip them. Hopefully i'm doing something wrong, but redownloading hasn't helped...

Am I the only one having a CRC problem? When I try to extract the file it says the CRC doesn't match.

You're not the only one. Great job, Ange and RBabe, however, parts 2 and 5 appear to be corrupt.

Here's how to solve the problem: Open the directory where you're putting the file. When you get the error message, the file will appear in the window. Copy the file and paste it somewhere else. Once that's done, hit okay and it will erase the original file, but the copy will still exist. Copy and paste it where you want it to be. It worked for me.

Tis a problem I always encounter when d/l from angelfire. I've never had it w/ spaceports. Anyway, *shrug* I've stayed up the whole night (it's 8.40am here)... I think I can still squeeze enough energy to stay up for 2 more hours.

Hello, I am grateful for the chance to watch this episode so soon. I still cannot get part 2 or 5 to work, I tried to copy and paste but the copy is also saying bad thingy. Can anyone give me any advice on how to get it to work?

cookie: are you copying the .rm file or the .zip file? You're supposed to copy the RM file from wherever you saved it while the error message is still up.

Here are the instructions i got from winzip:

for any damaged files, WinZip will display a CRC Error message.
For each such file, before clicking OK in the error message window, use Windows Explorer to open the extract folder and look for the
file
some portion of it will probably already have been extracted.
Copy the partial file to another folder and then click OK in the WinZip error message window.
This will erase the partially extracted file from the extract folder, leaving intact the copy of the file you made in the other folder.

Cookie...what program are you using to unzip with? I had the same problem you did, using WinRAR. I ended up using WinAce, and it worked perfectly. Here's a link to download. Good luck.

OMG!! I HATE angelfire!! I finally was able to access the account. I got to about 10mb then I don't know what happened... the d/l just stopped. I was using Download Accelerator... and the next thing I knew, it was d/l the page that says the site's temporarily unavailable. Bah! Can someone u/l it to spaceports or an ftp site?? Anything really. Just not angelfire and yahoo.

I am getting the same CRC errors on 2 & 5.. I have tried with WinAce, WinRar, and the zip compressor that comes with my Windows XP. I get the same error no matter what I use and it will not let me just "copy" the RM file. WinAce did not give me that option when I right clicked on the file, WinRar does not even show the file in the error box, and windows XP unzipper thing will let me get to where I can copy the file but then when I go to paste it in another folder, nothing happens. Anyone else got any ideas?

Yay for me! Got part 2 to work with WinZip.. but now I need 5 and the angelfire site seems to be "suspended".. I could PROBABLY throw the file up on my own webspace if someone wanted to email it to me or send it through AIM/ICQ whatever

I can get to the angelfire site and download okay.

There are some limits on angel fire but I did get some expanded bandwidth to try and minimize the issues with the account being suspended. I'll check in the a.m. about getting things setup on starport

Use Aladdin Expander to extract the files, when it complains just press continue and it works fine. Hopefully this helped a bit.

Ok, kittens. As soon, as i got up, i was in front of my computer.
I had to change and put the files, on others spaceaccounts.

And now, everybody, should be able to download everyparts.

As for the file, being corrputed. It happens sometimes with me, when i go to Lee's site to download. So you can or dowload it once again. And open it good. Or listen the other kittens solution.

So I finally managed to connect to the board via a proxy server, and you're all sorted with the episode?

I checked out the first part, and the reason it looks a lot better then usual is that the bitrate is higher then I'd use. I'm guessing the whole episode is around the 100Mb mark?
