Sorry for the lateness, I was in serious need of some shut-eye. From what I've heard in the replys, it looks like you were trying to copy it straight out of WinRAR(or WinAce or whatever). You were supposed to open the folder you had tried to extract it to in Windows Explorer(or whatever file managing program you have) and when the error message popped up, look in the window and you would see that 2.rm or 5.rm had popped up in Windows Explorer, and copy and paste it from Windows Explorer.

On behalf of all of the UPN deprived among us, I say thank you thank you thank you to all who are kind enough to post episodes!

Could anyone share the link to some of the older eps in RM format? There are a few that I missed and would love to be completely caught up.

Thanks again,

A big thank you from those of us who saw the "Buffy will be pre-empted" announcement and cried. Apparently, UPN in Houston thought the Rockets were more important. What were they thinking? And then they decided not to show it until Saturday. Yuck.

Yeah I've always felt kinda luck that down here in VA no one cares about our sports teams, so nothing gets preempted.

Hey, while I am supergreatful, as always to the amazing coordination and co-operation that brings us non-north americans the lastest eps so soon, i was wondering if anyone had another solution to the corrupted file error. i've tried every zip program mentioned, from winrar to winace etc, and i haven't been able to find a file to copy and paste. somehow it isn't creating even that incomplete one. i've downloaded the zip file twice, and before i try a third time, i was wonderng if anyone had another solution.
funnily, i'm only getting the problem with part three; the rest seem to working fine!

I'm getting the same, Part 3.
'errorissing 155648bytes in Zip file...'
That's just on start-up. You dont even get to extract the file to do that other trick.
That's with winzip, with winace, you dont even get to see the file in the box to Copy and Paste. Anyone have a solution?

Just wanted to say thank you again to j_uk! I downloaded the episode last night and of course had to see it right away although I had to get up early, which means I´m really tired now, but it was worth it. Again: Thank you, thank you, thank you!

And Lee, I hope you have a great time. Enjoy your vacation!

Hmm... the file that was hosted on Angelfire was around 17mb. I'd say the file got corrupted during the upload to the spaceports account. The only way to fix this is to u/l the file again. Umm... Ange???quote:

I guess angelfire (or what's the name?) took the 5 parts off... I've just tried to download them all (I 've just found out Lee is on vacation lol! btw, hope you're having a great time!) and they all show up as HTML file and Download Accelerator tells you to open rather than download... Not trying to be a pain in the @$$ or anything, just thought you guys who had the effort to put that up would like to know.

J, thank you SO much!! Thank you!! :o)

btw, Buffy has premiered here in Brazil last tuesday, imagine what I'd be doing by now if not for J and Lee........

I downloaded it twice from J's and it's just not opening.. or it opens and freezes up and we can't get any of the links from Ange to work either. Any other ideas of where we can get it? How long is Lee on holiday?

This is cruel... our Saturday breakfast routine just wasn't the same this morning.
No new Buffy and Friends to watch Mind you after last weeks Friends - I need to go out and buy another few boxes of Kleenex !

Oh yeh, just to add that I really do appreciate the work that everyone does to get these out to us. I didn't want ya'll to think I was having a dig at anyone.

Mo - I just downloaded and unzipped my file and it's fine. I'm not sure what os you're on, but have you tried a different program to open it with? If the zip file is corrupt then it should tell you, so if it's freezing your computer it might mean there's something else going wrong.

MoKa, maybe your computer has a lot of stuff already and that's what's making the video slow. it used to happen to my old computer. Anyway, I saw someone gave you the link to Steve's site, so hopefully you're already downloading... but if something goes wrong, feel free to message me on yahoo: legs20rj
or email me at: legs20rj@yahoo.com and I can transfer you the one I have here from J that works fine.

Thanks for the info guys. There is tons of space on my PC so it's not that. It's opening in RealOne as always and just freezing. I downloaded it on my PC ths first time and on my girlfriends the second and it did the same so it's not my PC. I tried to get it from Roswellian but it's incomplete over there. No point watching if the middle is missing

We aren't having a good day as far as downloading stuff. We started d/l Friends this afternoon - we were 15th in line at 3pm... at 7pm we were in 12th. Very slow transfer speeds - bugger when we are on broadband now and used to the high fast transfers. We just checked as we forgot about it (we were watching the extras on the Hedwig DVD - cool movie) The guy disconnected at 75Mb of 94Mb... was my gf PO'd !

The good news is Will our Pop Idol Winner has just Come Out so good for him. Brave move to make when you've only been in the business a couple of weeks and have your first record breaking number 1. Good for him. Course it was no surprise to us

could perhaps one of you experts out there help me out with something?
when using Download Accelerator to download the files from Roswellian Hellmouth (all hail that site, btw!) i seem to get a lot of 'resume not supported' status. Now I'm going to assume that this is because everyone else is downloading also and the files are being suspended. But when this happens, should i lose all that I have downloaded thusfar? It's happened numerous times that i get 80% or so through the download, it comes up 'reume not supported' and the whole lot is deleted, and then i have to start all over again. It's getting extremely frustrating and I'd just like to know if it's supposed to do that or if I'm missing something! any help would be much obliged.

Zero - Some servers don't support resuming, so you have to download the whole file in one go.

Mo - I've never used RealOne, but if it unzipped then the file should be ok. Maybe you could try downgrading to RealPlayer?

I get those friends episodes from alt.binaries.tv.friends where that episode from dalnet is always posted. It usually takes me about 20minutes to download.

Well we got it to work eventually. We unistalled then reinstalled RealOne. I don't think RealPlayer is available anymore, RealOne seems to be the latest version and they've renames it I guess.

Bad news is, we don't have time to watch it now. We have to get up at 4am to get to the airport. K is going on a business trip and I'm taking her to the airport. It'll have to wait until she gets back. As long as I know it's working now I can't wait... I think

Thanks for all the help J and Co.

I've tried several times to set my damn netscape thing to download the messages from the newsgroup (I heard they have the episodes up first there) but it just seems impossible to me! I've tried xita's FAQ but I still can't do it!
Maybe I'm just a lame PC user or maybe this whole newsgroup thing is really difficult to set! Either ways, can someone please try to explain (or point some place that does) how am I supposed to do that? (legs20rj@yahoo.com or yahooIM: legs20rj) I keep getting this message saying the server was not found? WEIRD!
