My clock just turned 12:01am, so that means its Friday. I went out on a date tonight, it was nice. She kissed me on my doorstep (good thing my parents were asleep and not spying on me as they are prone to do!) and it was the best thing ever. Man, I love kissing. I'm sure Willow and Tara do, too. Let's share kissing stories!

My first kiss was with a girl who I was really into, and who was apparently really into me. We walked along the railroad tracks downtown holding hands. She asked me if I liked Shakespeare and I said yes, do you? She smiled and said yeah. Then I started misquoting Romeo and Juliet (my favorite), and she pulled me close and whispered in my ear "For I've never seen true beauty til this night" and crushed her lips against mine. She touches my face and smiles when she's kissing me. Um, yeah. She also happened to be my date tonight... My skills have - hopefully - improved since the first time, which was a mere three months ago. Swoon.

What about you? What do you think Willow and Tara's first kiss was like? It's too bad ME never showed us. Hum.

Personally, I think that probably Willow and Tara's first kiss was a kiss on the cheek. I know that kisses on the cheeks don't seem like much, but they can say a lot. They can be tender and sexy, and you can put your hand up to your cheek and feel this little warmth where the kiss was....oh, I'm a sucker for kisses on the cheek.

And I think it happened relatively early, BEFORE the I in Team.

How do you know if another girl likes you? I was at a party in the local nightclub last week and i was dancing with all my friends. As im very much in the closet, none of my friends know that im gay, anyway, big circle of us dancing away and another girl just walks up to me and introduces herself. I introduced myself and we started to chat for a bit and she joined in dancing, she seemed really nice and i never thought anything of it . Until that is my best friend whispered in my ear "you've pulled" She meant it as a joke but obviously i got really embaressed. We kept dancing though and then she just walked off and i never saw her again. I dont know what to think of it and i feel bad because i think my friend may have made her feel uncomfortable. i was kind of angry as well but at myself, when my friend said that to me, i wanted so much to say something like, would there be anything wrong with that? but as usual i chickened out. And to make me even more confused, a couple other friends, said the same thing later on. I wish i was braver! And not as shy!
Anyway, just had to get that off my chest. Sorry for the whinge!

I read a fic somewhere - and I have totally forgotten who wrote it, so apologies to the author - in which Willow and Tara were talking (this was set post Tabula Rasa but, obviously, pre Entropy) and it went along the lines of:

Tara said 'I want to take it [us getting back together] slow, like when we were dating'

Willow: "But we kissed on the first date"

Tara: "No. We were dating long before that. You just didnt realise"

For some reason that seemed about right to me. Tara, who realised what was going on, held back and let Willow 'set the pace'. Willow perhaps was uncertain as to her feelings, but once she made up her mind she 'went for it'. So for Tara it was the conclusion to a period of desire about which she was perfectly aware; to Willow it was new but it was what she now understood she wanted and she committed.

I think it was a memorable first kiss: "Since the invention of the kiss, there have been five kisses that were rated the most passionate, the most pure. This one left them all behind." (The Princess Bride, seemed apt)

Ah yes, the first kiss. Let me see if I can remember that far back. We had just gotten back from a concert and we were sitting in Kathy's MGB in front of my house. Theres not a lot of room in an MG, so by necessity, we were sitting close together. Dont You Love Her Madly by The Doors was playing on the radio. She had been talking about her boyfriend earlier and somehow the conversation got around to the topic of guilt. She looked me in the eyes and said, Do you want me to give you something to feel guilty about? I, being innocent, shy and naive said, What do you mean? Thats when she leaned over and kissed me. *Sigh* I was sure the pounding of my heart could be heard by my parents inside the house. Then she said, This doesnt make us a couple of lesbians, you know. I was confused by that remark, as I had never even considered the possibility. That night was certainly a revelation to me and the rest, as they say, is history.

As far as Willow and Tara are concerned, I believe their first real serious kiss may have been during The I in Team. Willow did bring back the dolls eye crystal to her room the next morning as kind of a trophy.

Well, my first kiss was with a boy and, I must say, it was pretty icky. I was just sitting there thinking "Is this over yet." It's amazing I didn't give up on boys sooner. My first kiss with a girl was lovely though. It was one of those "Oh, so this is what everyone was talking about." moments. One of my good friends who went through something similar says kissing a girl after dating boys for a while is kinda like having regular TV all of you life and then suddenly getting cable. I don't know if that's the best way too put it but it makes me laugh!

As for W/T, Im in agreement the first kiss was probably after Willow went back to Tara's dorm room...I think the first kiss was probably a little awkward for Willow, but ill just bet ya the rest of the nite, the kisses were soft and passionate and nothing like Willow experienced with Oz

My first kiss was already with a girl... we had a slumber-party and of course at some point we started talking about boys and kissing (yes, I was still in my pretending-phase)... we both hadn't ever kissed anyone so it was (really stupid, I know, go on and laugh at me!!!) just like 'hmm..you haven't kissed, I haven't kissed..wanna try it together?' ..well, we did and it was great. Very great. After that the two of us never kissed again, it was just a one-time-only thing. 2 years later I had my first kiss with a guy, still very much in my pretending-phase. it was..well, it was BLEGH. I just wanted to get it over with. The guy fucking kissed as if he was a washing-machine, zoom zoom zoom, around around around... in the not good way that is. My first kiss with a woman was very nice and did confirm that I was indeed a lesbian, but my first kiss with a woman I was in love with was even better.

We had been friends for a few months. She and I worked together, in the Housekeeping dept. of a hotel. She was going thru a messy break up with her partner. We were hanging out one night, drinking and flirting shamelessly. We stopped by our hotel, to use the bathroom. It was like 4am, so the place was deserted. She was fixing her hair and I just couldn't keep my hands off her. I pulled her into my arms and gave her one of those breath-taking kisses. It was so amazing. We kissed for awhile, until we were both worried one of our Housemen would come in and find us. Every time I would have to inspect that bathroom, I would get really hot and bothered.

my first kiss was at a party that some friends and i went to back when i was in high school. i had just found out earlier in school that this one girl liked me and was going to be at the party. so she and i went out back of the house and were talking, me being shy, just sat there not knowing what to do or how to make the first move, she then asked if i wanted to kiss her, i nodded my head, so she then leaned over and kissed me.

as for W/T, i think that their first kiss was a peck on the cheek, followed by a light kiss on the lips.

Wow, Rosenberg, that gave me shivers. I love hearing everyone's adorable first kiss stories.

I had kissed guys before, but what I consider my real first kiss came just after I had graduated from college. I was trying very hard to be straight despite the fact that it was clear to probably everyone in my life that I had fallen madly in love with this very charming, witty, friend of mine (who looks exactly like Gillian Anderson only with brown hair I shit you not). Anyhow, Jess was bi, and I was fascinated by this, only having known gay men before, and she knew I was totally into her but she knew I didn't really understand my own feelings so I guess she'd made her mind up to help me along but take it slowly. She was dating a guy from out of the country who was visiting for the summer and the three of us went skinny dipping in the middle of the night at the bar/hotel where she worked. There was an odd dynamic to our three way "friendship" to say the least. Anyhow, after that they drove me home, and Jess told her boyfriend she'd see me inside. She walked me to my room, and we both said it had been fun to be so naked and care free and maybe we'd sneak in and do it again some time. She hugged me goodnight, which wasn't unusual, but somehow, like a flash, I just knew what was going to happen. My heart started racing and I thought to myself, oh my god, I think she's going to kiss me. I still don't know how I knew it, but sure enough, she pulled back a little and then moved in for the softest, slowest, most wonderful kiss I'd ever had in my life, so unlike anything I'd ever done with a frat boy. She pulled back, touched my face, gave me a sly, sexy smile, and bid me goodnight. I didn't say a word, my heart raced for another hour, and I don't think I slept a wink that night. We continued on in frustrated fashion for some time, but later she was there to give me one or two other firsts as well We've parted ways, she's still with the same boyfriend, but she's one of my closest friends. I'd trust her with my life, and although I'm now with a girlfriend who I love and with whom I want to spend the rest of my life, I'll always love Jess, too, because she was so instrumental in making me who I am.

so...um...such is the story of my first kiss.

Well, My first kiss ever was with a boy actually, i was like 11 yrs old and in Elementary school, it was a spinning-the-bottle thing, i don't even remember how i felt, i think it wasn't that great .
The kiss that i consider the first "important" one was with my best friend in High School, i was 16 yrs old and she was 17, we were spending an afternoon watching tv in my place, nothing special. I had come out to her months ago, and she was cool with it. While we were watching Mtv, they showed this Aerosmith vid "Crazy" and i started saying how i Loved Alicia Silverstone,and how cool the video was with the two girls and all, we were laying there on my bed just talking, but really close to each other and in a silence moment i really feel like i wanted to kiss her and i just did! I don't know how i dared, hehe i guess i just follow my instinct, Realizing what i had done i pulled back (bad me! coz she didn't seem like complaining about it) and started apologizing (i was lying coz i wasn't sorry really) because of that, she told me it was ok, that we were friends and it was not a bad thing, so he hugged me and i felt really good she wasn't mad at me and we just laughed about it! we both had bf's by that time so we kinda left it that way... That was it!

For W&T First kiss, I Like to think it was after some spells in Tara's Dorm, Way before NMR Maybe the 2nd or 3rd time Willow visited her there and i think Tara made the first step .

I was, hum, 12, and I had recently moved into a new town+school, so I basically knew next to no one. A "school dance" came up, I went, and somehow got hooked with a girl there. I really can't recall how the first kiss happened, tho. But I do remember that we kissed for all of that evening, and then the day after it (on the weekend, i went to her place). Monday came, and school with it, and, well, it was over.

I learned afterwards that this girl was, hum, not the most popular. In fact, she had been the school's scapegoat since, well, forever. So the few friends I had then where all "you kissed [i:8436b13784] HER?[/i:8436b13784]". *sigh*. And the kisses per se weren't that
good, either, now that I think about it. But, boy, were they [b:8436b13784] exciting[/b:8436b13784].

Speaking of which, as I read your stories, a thought crossed my mind: is it possible that, as a rule of thumb, your first boy kisses happened at an earlier age than your first girl ones, and that, maybe, that could be one of the reasons for the "less-than-stellar" kissing? You know, with experience and all that. Just a thought, not trying to convert anyone, obviously. I just recalled that the kisses I received (and gave) were progressively good, getting better with age, you know?

Oh, and, I did kissed a boy once, too. So that's another first. I was in a bar with a group of friends, and much alcohol was involved, and sudenly, well, everyone started kissing everyone. I ended up kissing about 8 girls on that night, including my girlfriend's sister, and her best friend, as well. All good, clean fun .

There was only one other guy in the group, and, of course, some pressure was put on us to kiss as well. We were both too shy, tho, since neither of us had ever kissed a boy before. But, with time passing, and our alcohol blood level getting up, I just went to him and said "Well, do we kiss, or not?". And so we did, a minute-long (but passionless) snog . Our friends were delighted He wasn't a bad kisser, either. Soft lips are always a plus .

My turn! My first kiss was with a boy in highschool. I thought he was cute, he thought I was cute. You know the deal. Although I do remember being a little disappointed at how unspectacular it was.

My first kiss with a girl wasn't until a few years later. She was a really good friend of mine and we were coming home from a great party - she gave me a ride back. I remember we just sat in the car talking for a while, although for some reason I don't remember what we were talking about. I just remember that it was great and warm and soft, and I still get warm fuzzies thinking about it. I still think she's one of the best kissers ever.

Although, since I'm biased now, I'll say that my best first kiss ever was with the person I'm currently with. Probably because it's the first time I've ever fallen in love before the first kiss. He was worth waiting for. And since I'm blushing now, I'll leave the stories at that.

It was the second time we had hung out in person (*gasp* yes, we met online), and we were laying on my bed watching "Being John Malkovitch," of all things, doing that cute, first date-ish 'scooting closer and closer together over the course of two movies' thing. Until finally I curled myself into her shoulder, laying my head against her, and eventually, she very sweetly asked if she could kiss me. Rather charmed, I said "Yes." hmmm.... my first kiss was under very drunken circumstances, and consequently very difficult to remember, but twas with my *male* best friend, whom i met and became good friends with after my female best friend, whom i had fallen for, kinda crushed me.... or something along those lines. anywhoo, he was actually a very good kisser i recall. but i have to say my female best friend (whom i later ended up with anyway, not later as in same day, later as in a few months after) is a much better kisser in that, having kissed her leaves one with the near constant desire to still be doing so. it's just a much better reality to be in, as opposed to say, sitting around doing [i:36bd9e4815] anything[/i:36bd9e4815] else. so yeah, anyway... or maybe we'll just weigh in, that duh, i'm reallly gay, but i was having the same sorta thought of the "dudes being kissed at younger times yielded them not-so-great", except my own experience doesnt fall into that, and really probly is just major confirmation of my gayness. whatever, she's a goddess. it's all good.

Hmm, my first first kiss was with a teenage boy and was actually quite nice and even wonderful.

My first kiss with a woman made my first first kiss with a boy seem like a root canal by comparison. After that I was hooked.

We were alone in the gym playing one-on-one. She had the ball and was driving to the basket, I thought she was going to drive the baseline so I took a long step towards the baseline and leaned into her when she unexpectedly pulled up for the jump shot. She clocked me under my chin first with her shoulder and then her elbow. Being much taller and stronger than me she knocked me off my feet and I went sailing on my ass under the basket. She immediately dropped the ball and ran over to see if I was ok. Actually, I wasn't. I was pretty woozy and literally was seeing spots. She mumbled something about making the pain go away, put her hands on either side of my face, tilted my head back and started kissing me all along my jawline, cheek and down my neck. She was moving over to my lips when a bunch of people burst into the gym and we both jumped away from each other and tried to act like we were just playing ball.

A couple of days went by and we hadn't said anything about what happened in the gym and I, being the dunderhead I am, kept wondering if maybe I was reading too much into what she had done and maybe she just liked me as a friend. Anyways, a few days later I was in her room on her bed and fell sound asleep. She let me sleep until it came time for us to go to class or practice or something. She sat down next to me, cupped my face in her hands (which woke me up slightly) and resumed kissing my face only this time she made it to my lips. Wow and Zing! It was like nothing I had ever experienced before in my life. When we finally stopped kissing, she told me she couldn't help herself b/c she thought I looked adorable when I was sleeping.

From this experience I learned that, [1] as nice as it may be to kiss a boy, kissing a woman is infinitely more wonderful and enjoyable and [2] I am at my most irresistible when I am either unconscious or close to losing consciousness. Go figure.
