It's a "I Grrr at myself" thursday, MKF!

Postby jraff » Wed Aug 14, 2002 6:04 pm

I just had the biggest fight I've ever had, with my best friend/flatmate. It's all ok, now, thankfully, but...

I still feel really bad, because I've brought up things that really stress him more than I imagined (money issues), so I was, essentially, scratching his scratches further/deeper. I'm very angry at myself right now, hence the title...

Grrr for me :(

And for the OnTopicness, do you think there's anything that, when seen through a new perspective, Willow and Tara have regretted doing/saying?

Willow casting the spell on Tara is a total given! And on Tara's side, she probably regretted well...I dunno. Tara's perfect! : )

Good morning, kitties! :)

I think Tara regretted not telling Willow about her family before. Willow felt hurt about that (in "Family").

I agree about the "forget" spell, but Willow has some more things to felt bad about, like their arguing (sp?) before Glory brainsucked Tara... :(

Yeah, i agree about willow, i guess she has had plenty of time to regret having done that spell on Tara.

As for tara, yeah, the family lies are the only think i can think of. And as everyone just said.. Tara is perfect, so...;)

I don't know, I think they both regret that fight in "Tough Love"

Jeepers I can't believe I'm going to be the Tara naysayer here. But don't you think Tara would regret that in "Family" she doubted whether Willow's love for her was forever as opposed to being just a "college thing" before Willow went back to boystown?

Not that I'm suggesting that Tara's not perfect b/c of course she is. And her human foibles make her all the more endearing and loveable. :heart

I agree that they both would regret the argument in Tough Love.

On a more serious note, I hope that all our central european kitties are okay in light of the terrible floods being experienced.

Thanks, mollyig. I'm okay (we're actually going to leave for Croatia in a few hours - feeling a little guilty for this), but it totally breaks my heart to see all these towns in my state being devastated :(

And in other states, too, of course, but it's just different if you actually know the places you see on TV.

Im sure Willow would regret the whole Tough Love argument and storming out on Tara. If she hadnt done that the whole brain suck incident most likely wouldnt have occurred, so she probably still feels guilty about that. Im sure she also has a hard time forgiving herself over doing the forget spell. Tara, of course, is perfect, but she might have some second thoughts about not bringing up Willows careless use of magic starting way back with the Tinkerbell light spell in Out of My Mind.

Both of them regret the fight in Tough Love, Willow regrets putting the spell on Tara and not listening to her opinions on magic, Tara regrets not speaking up about Willow's lack of repect/misuse of magic, and for the spell she cast in Family.

Weird, my roommate and I had a similar thing last night. Of course what happened was he cut me off as I started to share some good news--he's had a bitchy time and that news would irritate. So I shut up about it, pronto!

I think Willow hates doing anything to hurt Tara, especially the "Forget" spells. And she's probably still kicking herself for all the times she let magic get out of control (the "My Will" spell, the summoning of VampWillow, etc.)

But I think Tara desperately regrets her "See No Demons" spell in Family[/i:344b35263f] as well as sabotaging the "Find-All-Demons" spell. Plus she's the type to regret not saying or doing something that would have prevented Willow from diving into dark magicks. That isn't her fault, but still she might feel some guilt over it.

I'm going off topic here a bit...

I just wanted to say this....

i saw a chicken run across the road! In front of a billboard that shows a chicken running across the road with the tag line... "don't act like a chicken, look before you cross"
:lol

Sorry people... i really had to get that out... It's not everytime a billboard ad has a real life demo in front of it.

:lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol

Sorry... hahaha... :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol I really am very ticklish today...

Maybe the chicken crossed the road b/c it heard that Tara was making chicken casserole and it wanted to be part of W/T big hot sweaty sex goodness. I know that would make [i:2b285987f9] me[/i:2b285987f9] want to cross the road. ;)

I'd cross the road for that :D

Anyway just wanted too say that I will be board-less for a few days as I am off to Boston tomorrow to visit the gf's family. Should be fun apart from the whole flying thing.

So if Joss was standing behind the chicken with a big carving knife and stuffing, does that mean it was just a poultry plotline to bring about the big Christmas dinner?

Well i'm sure they both regret that argument, but if Willow had been there at best it wouldn't have made much difference, at worst they would both have been brainsucked.

I dont know about anyone else but I think your smut is wonderful.. well not that I have personally experienced your smut :) But I have read much of it (by the way love your final exam fic)

And as for the bitchy and abrupt.. well bitchy could be called catty (Hmm makes me think of a little cat, also known as a kitten) and abrupt could be getting to the point. Not beating around the bush. (Hmm makes me think ofwell actually that just brings me right back to the smut and thats your strength right?) See its all good. :D

Sorry if I jumped in on your banter but it just called to me.

Willow's regrets are numerous and already listed. But am I the only one who thinks that Tara was setting Willow up to fail in [i:97540cc7f2] Tabula Rasa[/i:97540cc7f2]? Willow offered to go a month w/o magic---even if Tara didn't think she could/would make it, why didn't she just accept Willow's offer? Cutting it to a week is all but saying "I don't believe you/believe [i:97540cc7f2] in[/i:97540cc7f2] you."

Then the next day, why was Tara so cold just because Willow was running late? Tara [i:97540cc7f2] expected[/i:97540cc7f2] it would be difficult to impossible for Willow to give up the magicks, why wouldn't she cut her some slack for being late to a (non-emergency) Scooby meeting? Heck, if [i:97540cc7f2] I[/i:97540cc7f2] saw Willow in a towel, I'd want to join her (and her state of undress!), and be Supporto-Gal, not give her the brush-off.

Don't get me wrong: I hold Willow 99 and 44/100th percent responsible for the Big Break-Up. But I still think that Tara should have shown more support for Willow to give up magic at the beginnin of TR.

GG [i:97540cc7f2] Over-identify w/ Willow much?[/i:97540cc7f2] ;) Out

The spell Willow did OF COURSE!!! Gotta mention that one. And in ''Tough Love'' when Tara brought up the subject of Willow going back to ''Boystown''. I think she regretted saying that very much. And I also think Willow wished she never would have walked out on Tara in that same episode.
