Ooh. A challenge. Do I get three guess? I'll take them anyway.

In order of what I think is likely:

1.Angel. He's back and stalking Buffy. Is he still crazy since it was Buffy that helped him?

2. An evil demon/vampire gathering info like Spike did in S2

3. Tara's father/brother/ hired spy etc. They could be spying on Faith since she's Tara's cousin to find out where she lives. Where do they fit in this story? I don't remember you mentioning them.

I decided to ignore students since it's at night in a cemetery.

Chapter 19

“So what are you doing for Buffy for Valentine’s Day?” Tara asked her cousin.

“I don’t know yet T. That is a whole week away.” Faith answered. Then she gave one of her trade mark smirks. “So what is Red doing for you?”

The blonde smiled as she shifted the clothes in her closet around. “Don’t know yet. She won’t tell me. But whatever she does I know that I’ll love it.”

“Yeah, I’m sure your gonna love it. With everything she has gone out and done and everything that she has set up.”

Suddenly the dark haired slayer realized just exactly what she had said and knew that she had said way too much. She got up off the floor where she was sitting and tried to make it to the door before her cousin also realized what she had said.

Before she could even get all the way up into a standing position, Tara had descended on her. “You know what Willow is doing for me! You know and you haven’t told me?! You have to tell me!”

“Oh no I don’t have to tell you. Are you kidding me? I have been sworn to silence. If I tell you I get no Buffy lovin’ for a month. I’m sorry cuz. I love ya, but I love B. more.” Faith raised her hands trying to stave off her cousin.

Tara smirked back at her cousin. “Oh my goddess! You are so totally whipped!”

The brunette frowned. “You have a lot of room to talk. Plus, can I help it that I happen to enjoy the love?”

The two girls laughed at this and continued to talk about the events of Valentine’s Day for the rest of the afternoon They were having a great time together.

They had seen Buffy and Willow the day before and all four of the girls had been talking about how long it had been since they had spent a day with their best friends/cousins. Plus, with the special day coming up they all needed time to get presents in secret and to plan out the last details of everything.

So all four girls decided to have a no contact day. 24 hours where they were not allowed to talk to or see their respective others. It was a great idea, at least in theory.

“Okay Faith, it is three o’clock. We had better get you on started on you gift and on planning the events of the night. Plus, I have to get out of here before I break down and call Willow. Tara laughed as she started to drag Faith out of the house.

Faith frowned and started to drag her feet. “Does this mean that we have to go to the mall? And if so, can I pay you to go by yourself instead?

The blonde raised one eyebrow and looked pointedly at her cousins begging stature. “You should already know the answer to both those questions. But for the record, yes, we have to go to the mall. And no, you can’t pay me to go. You have to go yourself.”

Tara went over and threw her arms around Faith in comfort. “Just think of it this way. The fact that you are going to the place you hate the most in this town will show your girl just how much you love her.”

With that the two cousins head for the car. Although Faith groaned and begged Tara the whole way there, they did make it to the mall.

Over at Buffy’s house the two best friends were talking about the main events of Valentine’s Day as well.

“I can’t believe it! How did you do it?” Buffy was shocked by what Willow had just told her she was doing for Tara for the big day.

“I have connections.” Willow smiled. “Plus, it doesn’t hurt that I was willing to fork out a month’s worth of allowance on this one night.”

“Damn!” the small blonde looked at her best friend. “You do now know, that whatever Faith does for me will now fail in comparison.”

Willow looked over at Buffy with a know it all smirk on her face. She was trying hard to smoother a laugh.

The slayer, never one to miss out, caught this look and pounced on her friend. “What’s up with the look Will?”

“Oh nothing. I just think that I may have a small idea about what Faith is going to be doing for you.” Willow loved to see her friend squirm. It was just so much fun.

Buffy not one to let it go, pinned Willow to her bed. “Okay, we can do this the easy way, or we can do this the hard way. Tell me, what is she planning?”

Laughing the redhead could barely answer. “Do your worst! I’m not telling, and I will win points with Tara cause I with stood torture.”

The slayer was at a loss. She saw the resolve face and knew she was no match once her friend had set her mind to something. “At least tell me this. Am I going to like it?”

Willow thought about it for a moment. “If she does what she was thinking about doing then yes you will like it. She had fully made up her mind, but I’m sure Tara will help with that.”

“Well okay then.” Buffy was happy to know at least that. “ Come on then. It’s almost 3 o’clock. We need to get to the mall so that we can get the last few things that we need for our girls.”

The two cousins had been fighting over what Faith would wear for the big night for an hour now.

Faith wanted a red tank top with matching leather hip hugging pants.

Tara wanted a simple red dress. Buffy had saw it a week before and had drooled at the thought of her girlfriend in it.

“No Tare! There is no way that I’m wearing that!” Faith shouted once more.

“Yes Faith, you are!” Tara answered her just as heatedly. “Buffy would love to see you in it and you know it.”

“What is it with you people always trying to get me into dresses? You know that I hate them.” the dark slayer want to know.

The witch gave her cousin a smirk and leaned over to whisper in her ear. “Easy access at the end of the date.”

Faith stood there bug eyed. She wasn’t sure what shocked her more, the fact that Tara had just said that, or the fact that she hadn’t thought of it first.

Suddenly, she snapped out of her head and picked the dress out of Tara’s hands. She calmly walked up to the sales girl at the register. “I’ll take this one.”

“Are you sure this isn’t too much?” Willow asked as she stepped out of the dressing room wearing a emerald dress, that was a perfect match to her eyes. It was a thin strapped dress that was cut low to give a hint of the redheads freckled breast without giving away too much. The dress landed at just above the knees. The dress looked like it was made for Willow. It hugged her perfectly in all of the right places.

“No Will, it’s perfect for you.” the blonde assured her for the tenth time.

With that Willow went back into the dressing room to remove the dress so that she could go and pay for it.

“Well, I think that that is the last thing we needed. I have the dress, the food, and the most important thing, I have the gift.” Willow was excited. This was her first Valentine’s Day ever. And she was spending it with the woman that she loved more than anything in the world. She wanted everything to be perfect.

Buffy smiled at her best friend. She was so happy for her, and she knew exactly how she felt. She was thinking the same thing about her own girlfriend. “Okay, well we need to get going. I want to get home and put this stuff up and get ready for patrol.”

Willow looked at Buffy with a curious, and surprised look on her face. “And why do you want to get ready so early?”

The slayer grinned wide. “Cause patrol starts at midnight, which is tomorrow. That means I can see Faith.”

The hacker laughed. “Not a bad idea. Think you can drop me at Tara’s place on the way?”

“Sure thing.” the blonde answered. “See, I have good ideas sometimes too.”

With this Buffy stuck out her tounge at her best friend. Willow playfully swatted back at her.

The two girls continued to laugh and play as they headed to the car so they could get home and get ready to go see the girls they were longing for.

Chapter 20

The next week went by without much chaos. Buffy and Faith had been having a very quiet month. They had been having nights with only one or two vamps and others with none at all.

The Scooby gang was trying to get the most out of their time, knowing that when ever things are this quite that it wouldn't stay that way long. The Big Bad would be upon them soon.

However the gang wasn't thinking about that tonight. Tonight was Valentine's Day!

Buffy and Willow were getting ready to go over and pick up their dates. Willow was loaning Faith her SUV for the night, under the strict condition that: A. Buffy didn't drive it, and B. That they didn't have sex in, on, or near the vehical."

"So Wills?" Buffy said with a question in her voice.

"Yeah." the redhead was putting the finishing touches on her light natural make-up.

"What did you and Tara do last week when I dropped you off and went on patrole with Faith." the slayer had been asking her friend all week but everytime that the redhead was about to answer someone would show up to save her from having to.

Willow blushed as red as her hair. "Um... well we.... um."

Buffy squealed. "I knew it, I knew it! You are such nyphos!"

The hacker was taken aback but knew that she couldn't let Buffy kow that. "Oh your just jealous!"

The blonde stood there in mock shock. "And what do I have to be jealous of ?"

Willow smirked. "That Tara and I have an amazing sex life."

Bufy gave into her shock at this point. "Willow Rosenberg! Do you kiss your girlfriend with that mouth?"

Willow smiled a wide grin. "I thought we settled that one already. Yes, I do, quiet ofter in fact."

The two friends burst out laughing. "Come on, lets go get our girls. I can't wait to see what Faith has planned. Better yet, can't wait to see Tara's reaction to you."

With that, the girls climbed into the SUV and headed to get Faith and Tara.

Later that night after dinner at Mi Amore, the four girls split off to have their seperate dates.

As Willow handed over the keys to her SUV to Faith, she reminded her of her promise and smiled.

While Buffy and Faith headed off into the hills to the north, Willow and Tara headed back to the Rosenberg household.

"Okay Will, you said that you had a surprise for me. I should let you know now, you naked, while it is beautiful, it isn't a surprise." Tara smiled and leaned over and kissed her lover on the lips lightly and then pulled back.

Willow smiled at the blonde. "No my love. As much as I would love to ravage you, that is not what we are doing here."

Willow walked over to the counter in her living room and pulled out a card. She walked over to Tara and handed it to her.

Tara carefully opened the card. It's background was white and it only had a simple heart on the cover.

When Tara opened it there was her girlfriend's fimiliar hand writting.

Tara My Love,
Tonight will be filled with surprise. This is a hunt.
You must find each item to win the big surprise at
at the end of the night.
First you must go to were I first saw you. Where I knew
I loved you before I meet you.

The blonde smiled at the redhead. So it was to be a scavenger hunt for her surprise was it? Okay, she could do this.

Tara stood up and started to walk out of the house. Then she turned back. "Well, are you coming with me?"

Willow smiled and nodded her head. She got up and walked over to her girlfriend and takes her hand in her own. "Lead the way."

Within five minutes Tara and Willow were across from the MaClay home. Tara was looking around for her present. Finally tapped to a phone pole was another card.

When she opened it she found a gold locket inside with another note.

Tara,
Here is where you first stole my heart. Wear it with care.
You'll fine the next item where we had our first date.
Willow

Tara turned to her girlfriend and kissed her. Then she backed up and let Willow fasen the locket.

"I love it. Almost as much as I love you." the blonde grinned.

The redhead was proud of herself. She couldn't wait til Tara saw the rest. "So are you ready to go? HAve you figured out the next location?"

Tara thought a moment. THere was two places that it could be. The first offical date was the amusement park. No wait, The Bronze! Willow always counts The Bronze as a date. That would make it our first date.

"Yes, let's go." Tara grabbed Willow's hand and they headed off again.

At The Bronze, Tara had to talk to the guy at the door. He held the next gift and card. But first Tara had to answer three questions.

"Okay. What are they?" Tara asked.

"One, what color was Willow's shirt the first time you came here?"

"Burgandy red." That was easy, she loved that top.

"Correct. Two, where was your first kiss?"

"In m-my b-bedroom." Tara answered blushing.

"Correct. Last one. Three, who is the best girlfriend ever?"

Tara smirked. SHe knew Willow thought that she would get this wrong. "Well I would say Willow, but since she made up the questions and answers I have to say me, Tara."

"Correct." The guy smiled and handed over the next gift and note.

The gift was a mix CD with all the songs that Tara and Willow had danced to in The Bronze. In the order they danced to them.

The next note was a little more difficult.

Tara,
You got this far. You really know me too well.
The next item is where I first felt that I was
your family.
Willow

Tara thought and thought on it. She couldn't really think of where this might be. She wished that she had her mother's brain for riddles.

'Wait that's it! Mom made Willow feel like family when she gave her the nickname. We have to go to mom!'

Tara grabbed ahold of Willowand they started off back to Tara's house.

Willow had Tara running all over town by the end of the hunt. Tara had to say that the places that were closed were the most fun to get the gifts and notes from.

Finally, coming out from her school locker she read the finaly note.

Tara,
The game is ended. There is but one more
gift. Go to where we started this hunt. There
you will find your final gift.
Love Always,
Willow

The blonde Wicca smiled and the two head back to Willow's house. Tara couldn't wait for this big surprise.

Back at Willow's house the two witches walked in, and to Tara's surprise the living room was decorated with candels burning and a sweet scent of vinalla and sandelwood floating in the air.

Tara was in complete and utter shock. "Oh goddess! Willow, this is so beautiful."

Willow just smiled. "Thank you. Now if you will go over to the coffee table, I think you will find your present."

Tara walked over and saw a large envolope sitting there with her name on it. She reached down and picked it up. With a smile she open it.

When she saw what it was she was stunned. "Willow, how did you know?"

Willow smirked. "You know what they say, Paris is a place for lovers!"

The blonde was so excited. She ran over and hugged her girlfriend, and then planted a kiss on her in honor of the city they would be visiting.

"When do we leave?" Tara asked when she fianlly pulled back.

Still smiling with the pleasure of the kiss she answered. "We leave two days after we graduate."

Tara, excited by this, wrapped her arms tightly around Willow's neck. No other cohearent words passed between the two for the rest of the night, and none were needed.
