Persoanlly I think what would be great if some uber-talented artist type kitty out there would turn this into a graphic novel. That would be "comic book" for all you non-geek types.



There are just some scenes that are *so* vivid, that I know exactly what everything is supposed to look like. Sandwitches, Tara handing out some divine vengance to Rack, the frozen peas scene (the second one), Willow going after the Keeper. These are images burned into my mind, and it really sucks that I don't have the talent to re-create them artistically. Ah well. I stopped worring about my lack of artistic ability years ago.



Of course it would have to be in color. Tara. Willow. Bathing suits. You understand.

The response to this story amazes me.

I'm thrilled that you like the story and I love that some of you are even speculating.



I will post the challenge chapter tonight, but then the last chapter will be a few days out. I've been writng fan fic and not doing homework and I am way behind!



If anyone wants to actually make guesses, I'd suggest a speculation thread, but frankly, it would be really presumptuous of me to open such a thread. I can't believe anyone would be that interested in the outcome of my story.

There was a question about chapter 6. That chapter doesn't offer much help.



If you want hints, check any mention of the Imbolc mage lore, any discussion of past challengers, the descriptions of what Tara will face, and it helps to understand the basic wiccan ritual. ;-) Oh, and a huge clue...



I try to have every scene to one of two things, and both when possible. A scene should advance/ complicate/ explain the plot and/or expand character development. If there is a recent scene that seems to do neither ... that might be a good place to find a hint. ;-)

Again, an excellent update! I was holding my breath the whole time I was reading this. Since I'm not really good with the clues, hints and the whole foreshadowing thing, everything in this part was a surprise for me. Tara is one smart lady. Willow is really lucky to have her. And Willow carrying the darkness part of the mantle, that was really unexpected. I read some of the parts again and I knew that Willow and Tara's auras would have something to do with the whole story but that was still unexpected. This new part was really riveting. And there's the cliffhanger to boot. Don't know how much more my heart could take. Can't wait for the next update.

And Willow and Tara were co-Imbolc Mages. Now that is simply great. But I know I preaching to the choir here with my opinion that Willow and Tara are one soul with two bodies.

Lisa, you are amazing! The world literally fades away when I read your updates. When I get to the end of a chapter I swear that I am always a bit surprised that I'm actually in my own kitchen. My God, Tara is clever, which really means, my God, you are clever! You enabled her to succeed at each challenge while still staying true to herself and her beliefs. This is just breathtaking. Btw, as I looked at the chapter number, I couldn't help but smile and think back to when this was going to end at chapter 19. I'm so glad it didn't!
