I am in Osaka for a short vacation! I have visited Kobe so far and will take a day trip to Kyoto and also will be hitting Takarazuka for those of you know who know all about that. Maybe next time I come here i can do Tokyo, just not enough time this time :(

Xita - If you're going to be in Kyoto during the evening, make sure to go to the night-district of Gion! If you go off the main street that comes down from the shrine (particularly on the left side), you can still see geisha going to & from work. The temples & shrines in Kyoto are great, but Gion is the heart & soul of the city.

Enjoy Takarazuka! I don't know what show they're doing these days (I haven't seen one since "Rose of Versailles" years ago), but it's probably going to be good.

Ooh thanks for the suggestion, gonna try to do that, i was planning on the temples and shrines, so now I have something for the evening.

That sounds cool Rach, a bit extreme for little blonde me but it will probably work for you and look nice, be sure to put loads of conditionewr on it though after colouring it The "Straw" look is soooo last year lol
