That would be me! I'm forever knocking it on the side of the kitchen worktop - you would think after 7 years that I would know it was there, wouldn't you?

I rarely take these so I'll do this one. One: I crochet and I've just started a baby blanket. Since I don't know how unusual that really is, I'll offer another: I like to try to find out how much things weigh. Yes, all kinds of things: planes, houses, big curtains at the show...

Yes. Well, at least my current local library. The library I used before I moved was marvelous. My wife and I had a platonic love affair going on with the librarian there. She was so nice and would chat with us and pull aside books she thought we'd like. Nostalgic sigh....
But my new library is the bane of my book lovin' existence. It's staffed by cranky old farts and snarky teenagers and nothing is ever in the right place and they lose things you reserve more times than not. I get all twitchy when I walk by it.

I've got a really cool one that was given to me for my eighteenth birthday (not telling how long ago that was!) It's a Lord of the Rings one and has really cool illustrations throughout it. I only write in it about once a year though

Well... do GI Joes *and* Barbies count? I wasn't much for the playing with so much as making small outfits with cloth scraps or tinfoil... come to think of it, it was kind of my older sister's game and she is now a costume designer. Huh.

TPBM just started or is about to start a new project...

that's definitely me. i hate summer. i thought summers in new england would be better than the 115 degree desert summer i grew up with in southern california - i was wrong. between the heat and the humidity, i'm migraine ridden and constantly wheezy with my asthma. i can't wait for fall and winter.
