Sally,
I read the latest fic a few days after you posted it. It's adorable. It tells just enough and I don't even mind the way overused "just a dream" bit. I love the way Willow is so bold and then Tara definitely returns the boldness. Go girls!

Your other fics... What can I say? You're insane. Ok, maybe you're quirky but defintely one of the two. Very funny.

Awww :x Very sweet, but not sickly sweet. Great how Willow's hyper-nervousness makes it that she's so courageous in doing something so basically normal as talking to Tara. Plenty of people can just walk up to a girl and talk to her, but when Willow does it, it's special. Great dream too - and I found it really, well, sweet how there was that dream, yet the 'dream come true' was just going for coffee, starting something.

I just found these, and now I can't get them out of my head! Such inventiveness and imagination - so strange and yet so very moving. I love the idea of PacTara and ShadowWillow, and Proton Willow and Neuton Tara, who find each other - and love each other - no matter which universe they are in.

Also, they are hilariously funny, which meant that my dogs were so surprised by my laughter that they came in to check I was OK.

And I love how you recreated, in A Dream Come True, the feelings at the beginning of a relationship so carefully and gently, that I will now always be confused as to whether I read this or saw it.

Lovely stuff - so now I shall go to bed, dreaming hopefully.....

Sally I've enjoyed these short fics a great deal. My favorites are the last two. I never thought I'd find protons and neutrons sweet and even kinda sexy. :lol the narrative was just perfect. The dream fic was equally sweet. I loved how natural their first encounter was. All in all, thanks for such lovely moments.:flower

Hey Michelle - here's hoping that you meet your "Tara" in your statistics class - I'd say that there's a 67% chance of it, in fact. I'm glad you thought the story was sweet. :)

Hey, you New Year's Eve Chatty Kitten - thank YOU for inspiring the little gem! Awwwww. (Willow grew a pair of what?) No sequel for this one, not unless some inspiration strikes - it was just a little snapshot. Thanks Car!

If only all of our dreams were like that, eh? Thanks - glad you liked. Re: quick - hey, when the muse comes knocking she's persistent!

Hey Blayne - not too many of my dreams have manifested themselves in reality like Willow's either, although I suppose since she's just a character in this fic that we can't say 100% that hers became reality. :) Thanks for your comments!

Hey Ceci, your feedback is amazing! Haha, thank you so much, I am so glad that you enjoyed A Dream Come True. I had fun writing it. And thanks about the other short fics too - they've all been fun to write!

Aw, Debra, thanks! I'm glad you think Dream is adorable. LOL about the overused just a dream bit. Willow surprised herself with her boldness - and I think that Tara was just being herself, at least in this fic (a little twist on canon). Thanks! And thanks re: my other fics too. Insane or quirky - too close to call, perhaps.

Thank goodness it wasn't sickly sweet! I was trying to steer clear of the sickly-sweet line. Yeah, talking to someone is a totally normal activity, but for someone who is in her head as much as Willow, it gets blown up into this totally huge thing, especially when she's been watching Tara so much (although hopefully not in a stalker way). Chris, thanks so much for your nice comments - so glad you enjoyed it.

I'm especially glad you liked PacTara and ShadowWillow and Proton Willow and Neutron Tara - I think these are definitely the most uber of fics that I've written so far. Hee hee, I'm very very glad they made you laugh. Hope the dogs weren't too alarmed!

And thanks especially for your thoughts about Dream - I think that a lot of what I was trying to do there was to capture the feeling of a dream, and then the feeling you get for the rest of the day after the dream. Thank you!

I'm so glad you enjoyed the short fics, especially the last two! And who would have thought that a proton and a neutron could find happiness together - after all, they do say that opposites attract. :) Thanks so much!

Dear Sally,

I liked Ubercon '05 so much I decided to take a tour through your short fics. And I have two principal reactions to them:

1. you have quite a broad writing palette. :bow

2. you have a seriously warped sense of humor. (The first time I wrote that it came out "warted sense of humor" which is an intriguing mispelling...) Puns to Pac-man to particles?! Ye gads, what next? Whatever it is, I look forward to reading it.

1. Thanks! :D I just go where the muse takes me.

2. Warped, just like the space-time continuum! I hope my sense of humor is not warted, though - that sounds painful.

Thank you so much for your feedback, and I am glad that you enjoyed these short fics. What's next? Well, I had a couple of ideas for my next short fic but I'm still sussing it out, due to feedback from the beta about the idea. TBD. :)

I really liked these! I've read Eat or Be Eaten several times, and the last line makes me laugh every single time. Give Me Sugar made me laugh so hard through the whole thing, though. I hope you write more soon!
