Willowsgirl xx
Chapter 8.
Tara had locked herself away in her bedroom for virtually a week, too upset to see anyone, and at the same time worried that they would see through her, and see hoe devastated she truly was at the fact she would never see Willow again.
It pained her to keep it to herself, in her heart she felt lost without people around her, but she knew that there was no point in pulling everyone into her disappointed state.
The blonde was woken on the Monday morning by an insistant rapping on her bedroom door. Groaning, she held the smooth cotton of the pillow over her face, trying to shut the sound out. But it was no good, she'd already been pulled out of dream land.
Pushing the covers off her lithe body and grabbing her robe, she dragged her feet over to the door. As she unlocked it she bega,
"Aunt Rose..."
But was instead pushed back through the doorway by a very energetic, and very determined Buffy.
"Wha..." Tara started again, but was interrupted by her friend.
"Hey Tar, where have you been? I havent seen you in forever! Oh sorry, did I wake you? It's almost 9am you know!" the smaller girl exclaimed.
Confusion etched Tara's soft features, and she ran her fingers through the long silkiness of her hair.
"Did we make plans today? Beacuse I'm quite busy doing, er...doing..." she trailed off, "ok, so I'm not busy, but why are you here Buffy?"
"Duh, it's Monday," Buffy replied with a roll of her eyes.
"Monday?"
"Yes, Monday; exactly three weeks until we enrol at UC Sunnydale, until we move out of home and into Halls, until WE are college women!"
Despite her sleepy state, Tara couldn't help but smile at Buffy's enthusiasm. Her friend continued,
"And so we're going shopping; obviously I need a completely new wardrobe for college."
Tara mused,
The blonde was brought out of her daze by Buffy's hand waving infront of her face, with a bemused expression.
"Hello? You awake Miss. Maclay, you had such a dreamy look on your face! Oh well, come on, shower,"
Buffy took Tara's hand and dragged her to the bathroom, and shoved a towel into her hand.
"Now shower, then shop," she directed. Tara could do nothing but oblige.
As she stood under the stream of hot water, soapy suds running over her skin, her thoughts turned yet again to how much she'd ruined everything.
A small smirk graced her face at that thought.

Let me know if it's worth continuing! I promise if I do then it won't be long before college starts, and you know what that means. Willows in town!
