Rane I love this to pieces

Postby Kieli » Sat Jun 22, 2002 9:37 pm

...can you imagine how happy I was to see that Tara had a kickin' aunt? It just gave me chills. She so deserves to get a break. You have yet again, made my day.

Ten Ten- Thanks love. I’ll try that next time it happens. I hope it wont… rane *crosses fingers*…

VN12- I would write more if I had time, not saying that you have more time than me. Lol. It’s just sometimes it’s hard for me to express myself and then I’m so tired that I cant type or really read much so I don’t write much. But I did take it upon my self to at least give some sort of constructive feedback to writers. I know I appreciate it when people write to me so I hope to do the same. I’m better in email though many of my friends would tell you it takes me a week to get back to them. Hehe…

Ruth- I love willow babbling by firelight, I wish I could just describe it as well as you do. I guess it helps to be an english teacher, no? hehe… I love your *touchstone* cause you know you write the rolling hills and jam tarts so well. I love your writing…. Willow always does get the shitty end doesn’t she, especially this year. I mean, even though she got Tara it still sucked in the end. why did Tara have to get brainsucked? Why did she have to get addicted to magick and break up? Why did tara have to die?… As for lilly there’s quite a lot I have in mind about her and beth and tara and donnie. There might be some insight in the next update. I’m currently writing it and a scene suddenly popped up and so I’m working on that. I’m glad people have liked Lilly, I was very hesitant to include her but xita liked it and said to keep it. so I did. Hehe… and a Maclay in love… sigh…

Thanatopsis- Lilly’s cool. I like her. hehe.. and Xander is being a typical guy. But in reality Willow is also at fault here, she did keep Tara a secret from him. We’ll deal with all that soon cause I want to get the angsty out and fun loving in.…

Xita- if I had tara she’s be chained to my bed…uh, so nothing ever happened to her. ;)

Toni- glad to make you happy! And she’ll definitely get a break with Lilly.

Liz- sore bums… hmmm… maybe I can work that in sometime. We’ll see.

Oooh good. So we can expect more from Aunt Lily then? That's great. Well rounded originals are always welcome with me, I can tell you. Less Xander, more Lily. Heh. Sorry. ;)

welcome back

Postby Quill » Sun Jun 23, 2002 12:32 pm

As I am gradually finding more and more time to sit down and catch up at The Pens, the happier I am. Rane, it's great to have you back...especially when you return with one of my favorite fics. Aunt Lily is great. I hope to see more of her. Ok, coffee jitters are throwing me off my train of thought. Looking forward to the next update!

willwo rocks- i'm glad to be back. hehe.

ruthificus- lol, less xander. got it. guess you dont like him, eh? hehe. i'm trying to keep the core scoobs core but i get what you mean. i cant stand him either. i'm trying to write him as objective as possible but then i think of the frickin yellow crayon and i get all pissy again. there's going to be a little bit more with him but not too much later on. I want to keep it as W/T centered as possible which is kinda impossible when you've got cam p full of characters. ;) ... as for more of aunt lilly the way it looks right now there wont be a whole lot of her in the fic but her precense will be there throughout. the way i'm thinking about her she'll be quite a good person to have for Tara. and like i always say my fics write themselves so if i end up writing more of her then so be it. who am i to fight with my muse?

quill- hehe, i need time to sit down and read as well. so many new fics out there it's impossible to keep track. i was kinda hesitant to even start posting this because of it. coffee jitters.. hehe...

Actually, you know what, rane? More Xander is okay. Because the wonderful writers on Pens would never let him get away with the shit that he spouted on the actual show. So know that in your hands he's just an inoffensive buffoon of a man. Not saving the world, that kind of thing. :)

I trust you.

No!

I trust you. ;)

Caz- thanks for saying i'm a good writer. *blushes* glad you found parto ne and liked that too. i love willow and tara fuzzies, i live for them. hehe.

Magrat- you are too sweet. i know you have a new fic floating around and i will get to it as soon as i can, I'm cutting and pasting it. lol.

ruth- HUGS. you are too funny. if there is anyone i trust it's you baby. your writing is always spot on. as for xander, i'm keeping him the way he's always been written: the bumbling dumbass, not the sudden macho here i come to save the world dude.

as for updates: the next chapter is mostly written but i haven't had time to edit it yet. work is killing me and i think i'm getting a cold. boo hoo for me. but no worries it'll be soon for the next update. hopefully this weekend.

Oh yes, Ker, DEFINITELY read the barn scenes from Part I...and the scene in the woods with Tara casting the spell, and of course, that lovely smut scene in the truck....ahem...*fans herself* Is it getting warm in here or is it just me?!

See, although my attention span is rather short too, smut, old or new, can ALWAYS grab me by the....erm...well..you know what I mean :grin

Ah yes, that truck scene made me regret selling my little red Ford Ranger Stepside truck. *sigh* Although that thing didn't have nearly as much room as Tara's truck for...ahem...certain positions.
