Re: Ch. 5: Alpengeist

Postby shootingstar » Sun Jul 21, 2002 5:58 am

Great update!

I'm so like Willow there, in the way that I hate rollercosters but once I've been on it I'm like 'ooo I wanna go on it again!' Except Space Montain in Disney Land, Paris :( I didn't like that one I hit my head on the safety bar thing when I got thrown forwards lol, I'm a klutz.

I love bumper cars though they're so much fun! Never been on the kiddy ones though....

Woo hoo!! Rollercoasters are awesome. When I go to a park, I spend the entire time going on coasters. Usually I have to go on alone though cause my gf is a big scaredy cat. But hey, next time I can just borrow Tara and she can go with me:)

Loco2: hehe, thanks. :grin And don’t worry, you aren’t the only crazy one.

pikescoob: The same thing happened to me! I dragged my best-friend onto the LocNess and she looked at me after screaming the whole time and said “Lets do that again” and that’s where I got the idea for Willow. :grin

spazz07: Very true…and Willow is in for one hell-of-a-night…that is of course, if they’re not to tired after their day at the park. *evil smirk*

snuggle79: Thanks! And you shouldn’t be scared of the coasters…I was terrified till my dad dragged me onto The Big Bad Wolf, but now you can’t drag me away from them! :D

LeatherQueen: Thanks! :)

Jennpurr: lol! That sounds so awesome! I’m actually going to McKinney Texas the 2nd of August but I’m not sure if that’s near Huston or not, but my friend did mention it. So hopefully I get to go in to 10 days I’m staying over there. :grin hehe, and thanks for the feedback :)

The Rose24: I love all the coasters except for the Big Bad Wolf…well I like that one too but I can never ride it cause the line is always way too long. It’s only cause it’s the tamest coaster there and they’re afraid of all the other ones!

shootingstar: Oh, ouch! There was this one ride in Busch Gardens (but it got taken down after someone got seriously injured) and it was called Dracon Fire (or something like that) and it was SO jerky! My neck hurt so bad after that ride!

Latsric: You’re totally right! And next time sure you could borrow Tara! Just no smoochies cause Willow would probably beat the living crap outta anyone that so much as looked at Tara. :grin

Yeah, it's pretty awesome. I haven't rode that ride in several years. :( Now I wanna go. :( The only thing I hate about the park is it's only open during the summer and on Halloween and Christmas. They're also open for like special events.

Um... McKinney is about 6 1/2 hours away from Houston. I looked it up. I've never heard of that, actually. If you do go, hopefully the park will still be open. It's kinda expensive to get in though. :(

And you are very welcome for the feedback. ;)

Take care,

That's the same way it is with Busch Gardens. :( *shrug* Oh well...it's probably because more people are willing to work in the summer.

Wow! 6 1/2 hours away? I'm not sure if my friend's dad or mom would drive that far for one day. They also have 3 kids so it would drive me isane to stay in the car that long. :lol But eventually I'll go to it...one day...far far away in the future...

I know... it's murder for what they want you to pay to get in. Well, they do have it set up to where you can buy the tickets cheaper at some of the grocery stores. Saves you alot of money. :)

Yeah, 6 1/2 hours is a drive. Hee... I can hear the kids, "Are we there yet? I have to go to the bathroom... why aren't we there yet??" Hee... I know I would have a headache by the end of the trip.

Well, good luck. Hopefully you'll get to go sometime. ;) Have fun.

Heh heh heh. I hate rollercoasters myself, and have gotten dragged onto them by young relatives and Significant Others more times than I care to count. One time I got one of those photographs like the gang got. Everybody else in the car, including my nephew, look like they are having the time of their lives. I look like I'm passing a kidney stone. :)

Great story!

Jennpurr: I know! The tickets are way too expensive! I, however, never had to pay before cause my mom always payed but now, after my birthday, I have more money than her so I have to pay. But my mom bought season passes so now I can go whenever i want. They're a really good deal cause normally it would be the amount of 2 trips, so even if you only went 3 times durning the summer you would still save money.

As for the road trip! I can barely stand riding in the car with them for 20 minutes much less 6 1/2 hours! I'd probably throw myself out the car window! :lol One is 5, another 11, and then my best friend. And you're totally right about the "Are we there yet?" thing. They do that even when they're going to Krogers!

CaptMurdock: :lol hehe, poor you. I'll bet it was one hell-of-a picture! I got one of the pics when I went with my friend and her dad. We went our seperate ways and went on the LocNess. The pic has her w/ her hands up and a weird look on her face...kinda like she's smiling, but also gritting her teeth really hard. And I'm trying to put my hands up but i got stuck (just like Xander) and my hair's also sticking up like Alfalfa. (I get lots of ideas from past expirences) I'm also biting my tongue. :grin It's a really funny-looking pictures, believe me!

:lol Ah man, sorry you have to endure that. And they do that on just a short car ride?? :rollin Sheesh...

Birthday money. I remember those days and having to pay for everything, cause I could. As if I didn't have better things I wanted to spend my money on. :rolleyes Parents just don't understand sometimes.

Happy Belated B-Day! :grin When was your B-day??

Take care,

**Psst, Piper** Is there an update yet?? Well, why not? I want an update. **Jumps up and down** I want an update. Update, update. :lol

Sorry, I just had to do that.

Tamara: Well thank-you. :) And the update should be tomorow if I'm lucky.

Jennpurr: Yep, short car rides and long ones...but then again that was a year ago so maybe it's changed. *shrug* Somehow I doubt it though. :lol

Birthday money rules! I only got one prezzie from my parents (they gave me money too) and then everyone else gave me money. I only had a family party so i got a bunch of it! :grin It helps being the only granchild on one side too so that doens't suck! :grin And my b-day was June 20, so about a month ago, almost to the day. :)

**Psst, Jennifer** There should be an update tomrow if I'm lucky. Usually i write it when i have some sort of insperation (or some crap like that) and that's usually at night and last night I didn't write anything cause I wuz working on a scrapbook...luckily it turned out pretty good so I'm working on the update right now. I've written 1/2 of it so far, and i know exactly where i'm going with it! Also...smoochies are heavily involved. *evil grin*

And don't worry about the inner child deal...I've got mine on speedial ;)

Ch. 6: Stolen (but not so private) Smoochies

Postby foreverpiper » Mon Jul 22, 2002 3:37 pm

Hey...here ya go...the long awaited update.

Chapter 6: Stolen (but not so private) Smoochies

After making a quick restroom break, the gang headed over to where they had dropped off their stuffed animals. They collected the gear and started off.

“Where to next guys?” Buffy asked, repositioning her caterpillar, whom she had dubbed the name Rufus, back onto her shoulders into a more comfortable position.

“Another roller coaster!” Willow said instantly, hopping up and down excitedly.

“Well what’s the closest one?”

Tara looked down at the map she was carrying and found the nearest coaster. “Um, the map says the closest one is Apollo’s Chariot.”

“Okay then, off we go.” Dawn trudged off, leading the way to the ride.

They had been walking for about 3 minutes without incident, when suddenly Anya screeched to a halt. Xander, who had been walking behind her, ran into her.

“Ahn?” Xander asked questioningly after regaining his balance. Anya pointed somewhere to her left, a giddy smile set on her face.

Everyone followed to where her finger was pointing.

“What?” Dawn asked.

“What do you mean what?” Anya told her, “it’s right there, we have to go on that.”

Dawn raised her eyebrows. “You’re kidding right?”

Anya shook her head, “No I’m not.”

Dawn looked at her, “The merry-go-round?”

Anya looked at her with an _expression on her face that suggested Dawn had gone slightly mental. “Of course! You can’t not go on the merry-go-round when you go to a place like this. It’s a tradition! Everyone must go on it.” She said this as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.

Tara and Willow giggled at the look of skepticism on Dawn’s face.

She sighed dramatically, “Fine, whatever.”

They all headed toward the line before Xander stopped them with a cough to get their attention.

“What?” Buffy asked as she stopped.

“Um, ya know, as much fun as the merry-go-round sounds, I’d rather just stay here and…” he thought momentarily to come up with an excuse, “and guard the stuffed animals!” he finally told them. “You don’t want someone coming and stealing 'em all so I’ll just stay over here and watch over them.”

Anya rolled her eyes, “Fine, stay here and miss out on the tradition.” She shoved the basketball she had been carrying into her fiancé’s arms before heading to the line.

Everyone handed their things to Xander. They had to stop every one in a while to rearrange things in his arms so that nothing would fall on the ground. Once they had succeeded in this task they all laughed lightly in Xander’s suspense and began to head over to join Anya before Willow stopped them.

“Hang on guys, lemme just do something real quick.” She went over to Xander, whose face wasn’t visible behind the load in his arms and reached into his pocket. Xander jumped a little.

“Will?” he questioned.

Tara, however, knew exactly what her girlfriend was doing and she giggled quietly. Dawn soon caught on and joined Tara in her laughter. Buffy, however, who was surely the slowest of them all to catch onto things, looked at both of them blankly.

Willow fished around in his pocket, obviously looking for something before grinning wildly and pulling a small camera out of his pocket.

“A-hah!” she said triumphantly.

Buffy smiled. Oh, I get it.

Willow took a few steps away before turning back to him, and aiming the camera. Right before she took the shot, Tara intervened. “Wait a sec.”

She walked over to Xander and moved the basketball slightly to his right so his face was remotely visible before quickly heading back to Willow’s side, who’s hands were up poised, reading for the perfect moment. Xander’s eyes widened when he figured out what Willow was going to do.

“Will, no –” he began to protest, but it was too late.

Click. Flash. The picture had been taken.

Willow bounced over to Xander happily and put the camera back into his pocket. She grinned as she told him plainly. “Payback.”

Then the four girls, still giggling, headed over to where Anya stood in line impatiently.

***

As the gang, minus Xander, climbed onto the ride they each wandered around, pondering which horse to sit on. They clambered up to the 2nd level of the ride and searched for the perfect seat.

“Oh, there!” Dawn pointed to 5 empty horses, all near each other. Dawn clambered onto a brown horse with a white mane, while Buffy got onto the one beside it, which was pure black. Behind them, Anya sat on a tan horse with a white star on its forehead. Beside her, Willow and Tara both occupied the same horse; it was a tight fit, but they managed. Willow sat on the inside while of the horse while Tara sat behind her, straddling her thighs and wrapping her arms around her.

Anya looked at them and raised her eyebrows, before shaking her head and muttering under her breath, “Lesbians…”

The ride began.

In front of them, Dawn and Buffy were striking silly poses and faces while mocking one another and Anya just sat on her horse, a look of glee on her face, waving to Xander furiously and sticking her tongue out at him. Unfortunately for her he had his camera out and was at a perfect angle to take a picture of her, tongue sticking out and everything. She scowled at him as she went out of view and when she came back into view, her grin was back on her face.

Meanwhile, Tara and Willow were in their own little world. Tara tightened her arms around Willow’s waist and Willow took her hands off the pole and brushed her fingertips across the velvet flesh that was Tara’s forearm. The redhead sighed loudly.

“What are you thinking about?” Tara murmured into her ear.

Willow snuggled back into Tara further and answered, “I’m thinking of what a great day this has been. It’s been so long since we could do something like this, after everything that’s happened…” she turned her head so she could look into Tara’s eyes, “and about how much I love you.”

A brilliant smile lit up Tara’s face as she leaned down and kissed Willow’s cheek softly. “I love you too, my Willow.”

Willow gently returned Tara’s kiss before leaning back and enjoying the ride...that and the sensation of Tara’s tights draped snuggly over her own.

Tara smiled, unseen by Willow as she gently untangled one of her arms from around Willow. Willow, who seemed to be in her own little world, didn’t notice. Tara’s grin widened as she secretly moved it down to Willow’s petite butt and squeezed it…hard.

“Tara!” Willow whispered, shocked, being jostled out of her thoughts by Tara’s frisky hands. She turned to look at Tara, giving her a look of mock shock. Tara just looked at her.

“What?” she asked innocently.

Willow decided to play along. “You know perfectly well ‘what’.”

Tara shrugged her shoulders, eyebrows raising high onto her elegant forehead. “Sweetie I have no idea what you’re talking about.”

Willow nodded and replied sarcastically, “Sure you don’t.”

Tara nodded, “Yep, I sure don’t.”

“Well then I’m sure you wouldn’t mind if I do this,” and she grabbed the back of Tara’s head and pulled her into a ferociously passionate kiss. After only a few seconds, which was entirely too short in Tara’s book, she pulled back and returned to her original position, acting as if nothing had happened. Tara stared at the back of Willow’s head, slack-jawed and in front of her, Willow sat, a child-like smirk on her face.

Tara was into the game now. She recovered and slowly lifted her hand from Willow’s waist and slowly made small circles on the redhead’s flat stomach with her index and middle finger. Willow had a look of bliss on her face as she moaned Tara’s name so quietly, Tara almost didn’t hear it. Willow inhaled sharply as Tara’s fingers brushed gently under the bottom of her left breast. Tara’s circles became larger and larger and just as she was nearing Willow’s lower region they heard Buffy and Dawn both squeal as they checked out some hot guy who had walked passed and waved. Tara yanked her hand away from Willow when she realized just exactly where they were.

They both blushed furiously and looked around to see if anyone had seen them. Buffy and Dawn hadn’t noticed anything, but when they turned to Anya they saw an enormous grin on her face. Both Willow and Tara went from slightly blushing to being so red they could have rivaled a prize-winning tomato. Anya grinned even further and while doing so she started to clap, an occasional “bravo” being thrown in. The two witches went at least 5 shades redder as Buffy and Dawn turned and looked behind them to see what the commotion was, before turning back and continuing their conversation about exactly how hot the guys they had waved to were.

It was a good thing that they were the only ones on the top level of the merry-go-round, because neither Willow nor Tara could have standed it if they heard some little kid asking their mom or dad what the 2 girls in front of them had been doing.

Anya finally stopped clapping, and her attention had soon been diverted elsewhere.

“Oh my God!” Willow said, resting her head against her hands that had been once again positioned on the pole in front of them. “I can’t believe that just happened.”

Tara giggled and Willow turned to her and looked at her disbelievingly. “Well come on sweetie, it was kind of funny.” Tara told her, brushing a stray strand of hair away from Willow’s face and pushing it behind her ear.

Willow’s eyebrows rose, “Says the girl who was too shy to make-out in the dark movie theater when no one was watching.” She chuckled lightly, “Just be glad that Xander wasn’t here. He’d have waisted all the pictures.”

Tara grinned and nodded, “But then again, I wouldn’t have minded keeping the doubles.”

Willow grinned and leaned over to Tara, “I’m sure you wouldn’t have.” She said, before leaning over and taking possession of Tara’s mouth.

What had begun as an innocent kiss quickly turned into something more. Mouths were intertwined and hands began roaming as best they could, considering their current position. They brought their mouths together again and again. Willow’s tongue silently sought out Tara’s and they begun a dulling of the tongues, each wanting to outdo the other. Willow finally pulled back after a minute or so, so that they could each take in some much needed oxygen.

“Wow.” Tara gasped. Willow nodded in understanding, before she claimed Tara’s mouth once more. A loud coughing interrupted their kissage, as they broke apart quickly, blushing. The ride had apparently finished and Buffy, Dawn, and Anya all stood before the two witches, staring at them. Dawn looked on in amusement as both Tara and Willow untangled themselves from each other and clambered off of the horse they had been sitting on.

“Geeze, you guys!” Buffy said in mock annoyance. “Public much? Good thing Xander wasn’t here or we’d have to get a bucket for all the drool that little display would’ve inspired.”

Tara would have giggled at the notion that Willow had said the same thing, but she was currently too embarrassed to do anything but turn even more shades of red.

“Are we gonna have to separate you two?” Dawn asked, playfully.

“Oh you should’ve seen what was going on before! Tara’s not as shy as everyone makes her out to be!” Anya told the two sisters. Buffy and Dawn burst out laughing as Willow and Tara hurried themselves off the ride to avoid any more conversation.

As soon as Anya and a still laughing Dawn and Buffy joined them, they went to find Xander, who was standing at the other side of the ride where the entrance had been, still laden down with all the stuffed animals. “Hey you guys. Have fun?” he asked them, a twinkle in his eye.

Anya nodded enthusiastically while Tara and Willow blushed further. “Yeah, i-it was ok.” Tara replied a little shakily.

Xander’s eyes sparkled. “Only ok?” he asked the blonde innocently. “It seemed like you were having fun.” Her eyes widened as he leaned forward a little. “Nice little show by the way. The camera loves you my dear.” Both Tara and Willow’s jaw dropped simultaneously as they stared at Xander. All he did was smile as he turned to break up an argument that had erupted between Anya and Buffy.

After they had recovered from Xander’s comments Willow and Tara collected their things, well…mainly Buffy and Dawn’s things, and headed off to conquer their next ride.

***

Not much happened over the next 30 minutes or so. They had ridden Apollo’s Chariot after waiting in line for about 20 minutes, only this time it was Willow, Tara, Buffy, and Dawn who sat in front, and Xander and Anya who sat behind them. After riding the 210 foot roller coaster they had decided to head to one or two more rides before taking a break and having lunch. They couldn’t choose which ride to go on next so instead they decided to just walk around and go on whatever they passed. So far, nothing of interest had come up. Until…

“Oh, we have to go on that!” Willow pointed to a sign with great enthusiasm.

“What?” Xander said looking to where Willow was pointing, “I don’t see anything.”

She rolled her eyes, “There, right there! It’s the LaMans!”

Xander looked at her blankly, clearly not knowing what she was talking about.

Willow sighed exasperatedly and put it into terms he would understand, “The car ride, Xander. You know, the one with the track and you get in the old fashion cars?”

“Oooooh! So that’s what it’s called! I get it now!” Xander perked up.

“Well ya learn something new everyday,” Willow muttered under her breath so no one could hear her, however, Tara caught exactly what had been said and gently nudged Willow.

“Be nice,” she told her, receiving a small pout as a reply.

“Lets go then.” Buffy said, leading the way.

There was no line to wait in so they just walked through the empty rows to the turnstile.

Dawn, Anya, Willow, and Tara had somehow managed to get in front of her, and as she raced through the turnstile to catch up with them something jerked her back. “Ow!” she yelled. Rufus’s head had gotten smashed between the bars of the turnstile, yanking her backwards. She growled and muttered some non-PG comments as she untangled him and stormed over to where her sniggering friends waited for her.

Each car seated two people, which was perfect in Willow and Tara’s mind. However, as Willow clambered into a blue car, Tara was yanked back from the car by Buffy, who sat in her place.

“Oh no you two don’t. You both get in the same car then none of us will ever get through the ride. We’d be stranded behind you while you guys do the smoochie thing under some random bridge.” Buffy said defiantly as the employee working there gave the three of them a very bemused look as he strapped Buffy and Willow into the cart.

Willow’s bottom lip was sticking out in a full-fledged pout as she looked at Buffy, who just grinned at her and stepped on the gas as they zoomed away. Willow turned to look at Tara who looked as if someone had just stolen her puppy, before they turned a corner and went out of site.

Xander climbed into the next car, soon followed by Anya. They speed off, following the path that Willow and Buffy had taken. That left the last car to Dawn and Tara.

Willow glared at Buffy, “That was just plain mean, missy.”

“What? Will, come on, you know it was true!” Buffy told her, “We both know that if you and Tar had gone together there would be no fun had…well,” her brow furrowed slightly, “Not the kind of fun your supposed to have.” She shook her head, trying to clear it, “My point Will, is that we both know if you got into the same car it would just be a repeat of the merry-go-round.” Willow’s eyes widened and she blushed.

Buffy grinned as she heard Willow mutter a few inappropriate comments toward her. She was about to say something about where they had disappeared to in the Alpengeist line, but she didn’t have the change because just then the car they were riding in suddenly lurched forward.

“What the –” Buffy turned around and saw Anya, a gleam in her eye, in a car not but a few feet behind them. “Anya!” Buffy shouted as Anya smashed into them again.

“Anya!” Buffy shouted, looking over her shoulder while also trying to accelerate further to get away, “This is NOT the bumper cars!”

Anya’s face fell into a pout. “Ruin my fun.” She said as she slowed down, letting Buffy and Willow speed away…well, not speed, but gradually get farther in front of them seeing as how slow the cars were.

Behind then, Tara and Dawn had witnessed the whole thing. They looked at each other for a split second before bursting out into fits of hysterical laughter.

“Oh…my…Goddess!” Tara said between gasps, “Did you see the look on Willow’s face? If only we had gotten a picture of that!”

Dawn shook her head and smirked, holding up a camera and shaking it in front of Tara’s face as Tara drove on. “I guess it’s a good thing I took one then.” She said composedly.

“Dawn! You sneaky thief! I didn’t even see you take the picture!” Tara said, laughing once more.

“Well, it’s not my fault you were too busy watching Willow.” She told the older witch. “But you might want to get a napkin to wipe the drool off your face.”

Tara glared playfully at Dawn, who just smiled up at her and pocketed the camera, before continuing driving.

When Dawn and Tara finally finished the ride, the rest of their party greeted them. Tara got out of the vehicle and instantly intertwined her fingers with Willow before giving Willow a peck on the cheek, “Miss me?” she asked.

“Always.” Willow replied, giving Tara a playful kiss on the nose before descending to her mouth. Dawn groaned loudly in protest and they looked up to see her gagging at them.

“Can you guys go for 3 seconds without each other?” Dawn rolled her eyes, “You two would make Martha Stewart throw up.” Willow and Tara grinned stupidly at each other before breaking their embrace and following the still gagging teen and the rest of their friends to lunch.

Hee... I'll agree with Miss Tiggr. ;)

I LOVED this update. Those smoochies were hot. I bet they are glad there wasn't a camera snapping photos of the ride. :lol That would have been funny.

All of those pics that are being taken. I would love to see everyone's faces when they are developed.

Loving, and loving this, Piper. Keep it up.

This was the best chapter yet, willow and tara just keep getting bolder and bolder and all the picture taking ! This was the best line "Anya looked at them and raised her eyebrows, before shaking her head and muttering under her breath, “Lesbians…”" :lol

That was hilarious! :lol

Tara: My heart doesn't stutter.

Tara: Willow, I got so lost.
Willow: I found you. I will always find you.

Willow: Hi, um Tara. I was wondering maybe you want to go out some time for coffee? food? Kisses and gay love?
