Does anyone know a good site where you can find young lesbians in your area?

Hey there girlies, I think i'm in the middle range, being 17 and all. But just give me three months and that'll all change, yep, be tearin' up the town then with the freedom of being 18. Single, unfortunately:( . I don't know about the rest of you, but I think it sucks. Hoping that will also change pretty soon. Ah, play it by ear and let it ride.

iamyouknow: the majority of us seem to be single, so don't fret. Just think of yourself as in the more dominant catagory, the ruling class, the bourgeoisie if you will... eep- too much modern history. :shock Run away from the boredom, while you still can!:p

I'm very much resenting being single. I don't know anywhere to meet girls online if you're under eighteen, sorry.

So when you get to 40 your no longer a younger lesbian your an older lesbian?... Why isnt there any middle.. ground... like uhh... the...Well.. i cant really think of a name... but i think there should be a middle area.. just for the kittens.. that are no longer... Younger.. .and not yet older... not that age really matters... We are all what we are because of us.. not our age... you might just be a little bit wise.... but nothing else changes....Or so I've heard :p

Newport. Losprophets yay! I freakin' love them, they are sooooooo awesome live. Woo hoo! And the Stereophonics, anthems much!? In fear of sounding very Welsh, they're bloody brilliant :wink . I've lost my Performance & Cocktails CD :( , good job it's on my computer :D . Ooh, ya can't forget the Manic Street Preachers dude, because they rock too :) .

I've seen lost prophets live at ozzfest and they rocked! Got pictures too, blurry and there are heads blocking the way but u can sorta make them out hehee. I really wanna see the stereophonics live. Manics are ok but there old stuff is much better than the newer stuff :applause

The Barfly in Cardiff is a wicked gig to go to in Cardiff for up and coming welsh bands!!! Cheap too which is good for me.

I agree that the old Preachers stuff is waaaaay better. As for nights out, I go to TJ's in Newport loads, I've never been to The Barfly due to lack of funding, hehe. Also, I'm a lazy biatch and I can't be bothered to go *all* the way to Cardiff ;) :lol . I usually do a couple of the nightclubs in Newport too, just for a laugh like ;) . You went to Ozzfest? Coolies :) .

Ozzfest was brilliant apart from the rain and the fact that it got cancelled halfway through but i got to see Lost Prophets and System of a Down so im not complaining...............that much!:rage I also got to see a drunk guy swear a lot and got asked if i wanted to sit on a drunk woman's shoulders:confused

M mate says TJ's is a dive, agree/disagree? Metros is another cool place for alternative music but im too young :sob

I'm 14 too, and it took me a while to really see it. but I did eventually. See, my reason may be reallly different from someone else's, but here's how I knew.

I had a bunch a boyfriends... and I never really felt anything for them. I wanted to... and I guess I told myself that I did, but I never felt much. And if I was with a group of people, I would easily rather be with the pretty girls than my own boyfriend. plus the little things... like thinking more about the pretty girl that sits next to you in math, over the so-called 'hot' boy in science... little things, for me anyway.

that's just me though, everyone else may be quite different.

hope that helps at least a little bit.

how do ya know?

Postby SpiritOfTara » Wed May 26, 2004 6:03 pm

Hey there,

It took me quite some time, to realise, and it was a weird time, when i was questioning, and now i'm telling myself "Duh!"

For me, it was feeling SO much comfier around the girls. The girl-y physical contact. Just looking at them more than the guys, admiring their looks and personalities. Not that i didn't EVER look at guys.. just happened there was alot more attractive females than males in my school.

I realised that the "Something about that girl" thing was because i was attracted to them. It took me a long while to realise that.

When i was questioning, it was difficult and confusing.

It can take time. Don't push yourself into trying to fit into a "label".

Re: TJ's

Postby hellyeahallday » Thu May 27, 2004 3:22 am

Yeah, it is a dive, but it's great fun. And shh, but I'm not old enough to go to TJ's either, well, unless you count the Teen Spirit nights every once in a blue moon. If you do ever go to TJ's, unless it actually is a Teen Spirit night, don't buy a drink, it's dodgy in there. Just my little warning, due to past experiences with friends.

Brittney, I know exactly how you feel :) , but don't get worked up over putting a label on yourself chick. Labels aren't what makes you you, what you feel makes you who you are. Truth is, I still don't really know what I am either. I know it's not nice feeling the way you do, but my advice would be just to let yourself feel, don't dissmiss any feelings as 'unnatural' and maybe you'll becaome a little more sure of what you are. Lame advice I know but I stopped feelings like those for so long I'm even more confused than I was to begin with.

I just wanted to point out how unbelievably true that statement is! We have sheep, hills and rain.... some rockin' bands, but mainly sheep, hills and rain. Lol. Stereophonics though.... welsh gods, kittens. Welsh gods.

Anyway, just wanted to add my two cents.... i wish i could give some advice to Brittney, because i've been them myself, but i was never very good at advice. I think at the end of the day, i just 'knew'. It just took me a while to identify the feelings and put two and two together... heh. Sorry i can't help more....
