VIVA PORTUGAL!
These have been the words that have been most heard around here! It's absolute Portugal and football fever!!! Absolute madness. Windows, balconies, cars, shops, everywhere is a perfect place to put a flag. There is a general feeling of hope, joy and confidence not only because of the success of the team, but because the organization has been going quite well. It's a sense of pride that, honestly, I don't think has ever been seen here before. (Well maybe during the Discoveries and such, but that was centuries ago, literally!) Even in the midst of political confusion, there is a breath of optimism that is absolutely contagious. I don't think I've ever seen so many people, looking so happy for such a long time. So for all these reasons, a portuguese victory would be bliss! But...well this time tomorrow we'll know. I hope it goes well. If we win, well the country will go completely CRAZY!!!!! But the way things have gone so far, I thing even if we lose there will be big celebrations!
Still, Greece deserves its merit. They've been doing a great championship and we can't forget they did win the first time around! I'll guess we have to wait and see!!

And why was he even refering the match in the first place when we beat his country in an earlier match, surely someone else was needed to keep the game fair with no come-back. I dunno............i'm all distraught and depressed, the atmosphere in the pub was flippin amazing though, truly was amazing, and i was shaking towards the end it was that intense. Anyway, the boys did good and they should be proud of their performance.
