Zap2it.com has reported that Once and Again has been offically cancelled. The series finale will air on April 15. Some people on the ABC.com O&A message board are posting that there is still a shred of a chance that the show can be saved, as the sets have not been taken away yet. If anyone here really loves this show please go to the message board at ABC.com and click on one of the things to save the show. It really is an excellent show.

oh, I was wondering about this thread. I was about to create a new one before I saw that Xita moved this one. Can someone post about what happens in tonights ep right after they see it? Especially Jessie/Katie related stuff. Because I'm gonna be pretty busy today but if its worth coming home for, I'll come home to watch it.

I don't mean to sound down but I don't see much chance of Once and Again being saved, it's the lowest rated drama on ABC and has been struggling for three years, it's gonna have top hit ratings to stay on the air which is pretty impossible.

i did vote in the Save Once and Again site but i guess it didn't help coz now we have to say bah-bye to the show. well atleast there will be reruns and i'm sure to catch up on the previous seasons. as for the Katie/Jessie storyline, yay! thanks for the reminder.

Hate to bring this up again if it has already been discussed but does anyone know if the "Gay Straight Alliance" episode can be downloaded from some where? Am also wondering how they'll leave Jessie and Katie's relationship. Any guesses?

That's one thing that's really been bothering me about the show being cancelled, how they're going to leave Jessie and Katie. I hope they wrap it up some how in the last 2 episodes and have at least some of the family find out and NOT have them break up in any way shape or form. Its so depressing that it did get cancelled though. And I want to hope that there is a chance it may be brought back, but I very highly doubt it.

It's a possiblility that Lifetime might pick it up for new episodes, and for another season. Considering that it's usually third in ratings on Monday nights in its timeslot, it would be a great show for a cable type channel like Lifetime to have, since they don't have such high, insane expectations like ABC, and those other three letter networks. I guess we can just cross our fingers about that one though.

I wonder when we'll find out for sure if Lifetime's going to pick it up. We don't know anything for sure yet, right? Besides it being cancelled by ABC, I mean.



I can't wait till tonight's episode, though, Misha's at least in it!!! Does anybody want me to go ahead and transcibe the Jessie/Katie scenes after it's over? I did last time, but I dpn't want to spoil anyone who's not going to get to see it tonight.

Katie, Jessie and the rest of the family are eating dinner. Lily says Grace is @ the movies w/ her English class. Katie suddenly says: "she is? coz i'm in her English class" Lily says, "oh you didn't know?" Jessie says to Katie: "maybe they planned it while you were absent," and Katie says "yeah." Lily suddenly remembers: "now that i think about it, she said it wasn't the whole class, more of just a group." Katie says: "that makes sense, i don't pay attention to my class anyway" Jessie says: "and you still get A's" Katie:"no i don't" and then they laugh and smile @ each other while Jessie sorta pokes at Katie. sweet. then after that scene, they both put food in the fridge. Jessie kisses Katie on the cheek, then they kiss on the lips! awwwww, that was the cutest thang ever! i loved it eventho' it was brief! peace

Oh wow Jessie and Katie are sooo cute! I practically fainted from 'aw-ing' at the tv after they kissed. Too cute.



Did anyone else cry at the end when Grace read the Chekhov thing? 'On Love'

I absolutely hated the Grace/Dimitri storyline, and I don't know why I cried. But wow, that was emotional.



And I almost cried when I found out Once and Again was officially cancelled. Its the only other show, other than Buffy and Angel, that I actually watch! Lifetime had better pick it up or there are gonna be a lot of upset people! If I had a television network and enough money, wow, you know I would buy Once and Again!

just to rewind the k/j dinner table scene and putting away the leftovers afterwards over and over again. too cute for words. and to steal a kiss in the kitchen. wow. what a pair. it's cool how comfortable they are with each other infront of the family and in school. i know when i first dated a girl i could swear everyone knew even though it was hush hush and that made me very nervous but these two seem really at ease (well until the *everybody's talking about it* but jessie still took it lighter than i'd expect. kinda shows her maturity).



i'm glad they didn't parallel grace and jessie this time. hopefully it means we'll have a happy ending.



as for a recap: (sorry but my brain really wasn't made for this)



they are sitting at dinner and katie's over, missing are grace and eli. zoe asks about a leg of chicken and if lily is saving it for grace and lily mentions that grace is out with her english class and katie pipes up saying something like *really?* she's in grace's english class and dodn't know about the movie. jessie tells katie maybe they planned it one day she wasn't in class. blah, blah, lily plot points and then katie says it makes sense cause she never pays attention in english class anyhow and jessie kids her by saying yet she get's straight A's all the time. she playfully taps her too.



then jessie and katie are giggling as they wordlessly put away leftovers and huddle together, jessie kisses katie's cheek and then kisses her lips. they smiles so cutely.



as for the hallway scene... not much except jessie misinterpreting katie's introductory gossip (about grace and dimitri) and jessie thinks it's about them. but then afterwards katie asks jessie why anyone would be talking about them (k/j) and jessie smiles saying something like *oh, i dont know* and they walk off together.



i also like the scene where jessie comforts grace. i think that's the first time she's ever touched grace isn't it?



whew... i am dreadfully sorry for my recap suckage but hopefully someone will come with a transcript.

Definitely a cute ep. The fridge scene was ADORABLE, and the part where they joke about why anyone would be talking about them was pretty funny. Hopefully there'll be more Jessie/Katie in the next episode, but I doubt it since it looks to be mostly about Lily's mother. It sure was nice to see Mischa again as well as seeing that the end of G-SA wasn't just Jessie experimenting, like some people were saying.

Regardless of the very short amount of time Katie and Jessie got, this was an excellent episode.



Grace is really my favorite character. I was really worried that I would be grossed out by how they were going to wrap up this teacher/student thing. Thankfully they handled it very well. It really got to me, too, when she was reading from that book at the end.



Julia Whelan is absolutely amazing. ERW is fabulous too. Love her expressive eyes. The scene when they were in Eli's attic was a very nice moment. I like that they can be allies when it really matters.

Once and Again was sooooo great tonight. The scene with them was very sweet. Although I would have loved to see more...much more I am so mad at myself that I missed the episode where they first kissed I would have loved to have seen that

Well, it looks like some people have already put some pretty good recaps up, but I'll do my own, plus transcript, just for fun. Or for redundency. Whatever.



The Sammler family is having dinner. The conversation turns to Grace not being there, Zoe wants to save her some food. Liliy replies that she is at a movie with her english class. The camera pans to Jessie, and we see that Katie is sitting next to her.

Katie looks up startled. "She is?" she asks.

"Yeah, why?" Lily asks in reply.

"Oh, nothing it's just, I'm in her English class" Katie says, as Lily looks surprised. "You mean you didn't know?"

Jessie looks over at Katie saying "Well maybe they planned it while you were absent."

"yeah" Katie says, looking first at Jessie, then over at Lily kind of reasurringly.

"You know, now that I think about it, she said it wasn't the whole class, it was more like a group." Lily says.

"That makes sense" Katie says, obviously not too concerned. "I never pay attention in that class anyway."

Yet you still get A's" Jessie says teasingly, looking over at Katie.

"No, I don't!" Katie replies indignantly, smiling.

"Yes, you do!" Jessie says, laughing and lightly pushing Katie's arm.



Pan to the kitchen, the inside of the refrigorator. The door opens revealing Jessie, helping clean up, still laughing. Katie's face appears too, smiling. Jessie leans over and kisses Katie's check sweetly. Katie turns her head, and they kiss again, quickly. They both look very happy The door closes.



The hallway at school, the next day...

Katie walks over to Jessie's locker saying "Oh. My. God."

"What?" Jessie replies, looking confused.

"Did you hear?" Katie says. "It's all over school!"

Jessie looks scared, quickly looking around before steping closer to Katie, quietly saying "You mean about us?"

"No not us!" Katie says, as Jessie looks really relieved. "Your step-sister. And Dimitri."

"Oh my god." Jessie says

"Apparently they like practically had sex!"

"Wait, are you serious?" Jessie asks "Wait- at the movies?" She wrinkles her nose.

"I don't know" Katie replies "but Tad said that Russel said that Alexis said she saw them!" Katie is obviously enjoying herself a bit. Jessie looks distressed by the news, but not entirely surprised.

"Are you like totally stunned?" Katie asks. Jessie outs her books in her locker and shuts the door. "Actually no, not totally." Jessie replies

"Anyway" Katie says, slyly. "Why would anyone be talking about us?"

Jessie gives a little laugh. " I don't know, no reason" she says, shrugging her shoulders a bit. The both laugh, Jessie rolls her eyes, and walk away together.

Oh my god! the episode isn't over yet but it just had the whole hallway part. And even though that little refrigerator kiss was really short, it was SOOOOO cute and adorable! And I loved that it was Jessie that initiated it! I can't wait to see what's in store for Grace.
