The song goodbye to you from Michelle Branch remind me of W/T but it's just too sad, I can't hear it anymore.

There's a song I love but probably no one around here know the band who sing it, anyway the lyrics are great.

No Use For A Name - International You Day

i'm sorry that it took so long to write this song

but i gave up

you see one million words can't describe how it feels

to know your love

where did i go wrong?

i should have told you from the start

that i'm closer then you think when we're apart

nothing that i've tried

is as simple as this line

but without you

my life is incomplete

my days are absolutely gray

and so I'll try

let your heart know for sure

that i have so much more to tell you every single day

i swear i'm giving up my inside

to the one that i adorded

i know this world is big enough for you and i

but i'll give you more

i'm coming home today

to wipe the tears right from your eyes

i'm totally enamored by your life

nothing that i've done

has ever been for one

my life is incomplete

my toughts are absolutely gone

so wake me up

before you leave today

something i need to say

cause they'll be nothing

when you're gone

Okay, I began to read the thread and now my head's too messed up to think straight so I only could find two songs that made me think of W/T

The first one's in french.. unfortunately ;) It's an old song by an old quebecker that my mother LOVES and I should be ashamed to love it:P If somebody could translate it.. I could but I'm not bilingual.. My native language is french and I don't think I really could give it the same beauty if I had to write it in english

Francis Cabrel - Je l'aime à mourir

--------

*tara*

Frente - Bizzare Love Triangle (willow to tara before NMR)

---------

Every time I think of you

I get a shot right through into a bolt of blue

It's no problem of mine

But it's a problem I find

Living a life that I can't leave behind

There's no sense in telling me

The wisdom of a fool won't set you free

But that's the way that it goes

And it's what nobody knows

And every day my confusion grows

Every time I see you falling

I get down on my knees and pray

I'm waiting for the final moment

You'll say the words that I can't say

I feel fine and I feel good

I feel like I never should

Whenever I get this way

I just don't know what to say

Why can't we be ourselves like we were yesterday

I'm not sure what this could mean

I don't think you're what you seem

I do admit to myself

That if I hurt someone else

Then we'd never see just what we're meant to be

Every time I see you falling

I get down on my knees and pray

Waiting for the final moment

You'll say the words that I can't say

I don´t know why the song Ka-Ching from Shania Twain reminds me of Willow and Tara but it does.

And this is the most intense part for me :p

Can your hear it ring

It makes you wanna sing

It's such a beautiful thing - Ka-ching!

Lots of diamond rings

The happiness it brings

You'll live like a king

With lots of money and things

Here are the Lyric´s

Shania Twain - Ka-ching!

We live in a greedy little world -

that teaches every little boy and girl

To earn as much as they can possibly -

then turn around and

Spend it foolishly

We've created us a credit card mess

We spend the money that we don't possess

Our religion is to go and blow it all

So it's shoppin' every Sunday at the mall

Bridge:

All we ver want is more

A lot more than we had before

So take me to the nearest store

Chorus:

Can your hear it ring

It makes you wanna sing

It's such a beautiful thing - Ka-ching!

Lots of diamond rings

The happiness it brings

You'll live like a king

With lots of money and things

When you're broke go and get a loan

Take out another mortgage on your home

Consolidate so you can afford

To go and spend some more when

you get bored

Bridge

Chorus

Let's swing

Dig deeper in your pocket

Oh, yeah, ha

Come on I know you've got it

Dig deeper in your wallet

Oh

Bridge

Chorus

Can you hear it ring

It makes you wanna sing

You'll live like a king

With lots of money and things

Ka-ching!

Lots of good songs! I was listening to one of my Cd's and this song came on that reminded me of Willow and Tara when Tara left and what they might have been thinking of eachother. Only the song is in spanish =) but good none the less. Its called "Quiero Saber de ti" Different Artist sing it in different kind like Cumbia and ballada but I have the one in bachata from the group Bienvenido Rodriguez and I think Kiko Rodriguez sings it. here ya go. Its a nice song. :)

y quiero saber si tu amor no murió

mira, no siento miedo, quiero tu cuerpo, no tengo nada

mira, quiero tus besos y tus miradas

II

No me importa morir

Mira, no sientas miedo

sé que me extrañas, sé que me quieres

mira, lo estas diciendo con tu mirada

No me importa morir

Ok, this is kinda weird, but there is this song that for some reason reminds me of W/T...but it has no lyrics. It's called "La Belle et le Capitaine", and it's the first movement in "Cajun Folk Songs" by Frank Ticheli. Again, don't ask why this reminds me of them, but I just disticntly remember hearing it and thinking 'That sounds like W/T'

Goodluck finding it, though :p

It is my solace, my home, the place where my walls crumble and fall away, because no one can know who I truly am. Thank goodness for the Internet, preserver of sanity! -Unknown

I was listening to a certain song by Heather Nova and I thought of them.

Gloomy Sunday

Sunday is gloomy, my hours are slumberless

dearest the shadows I live with are numberless

little white flowers will never awaken you

not where the black coach of sorrow has taken you

angels have no thought of ever returning you

would they be angry if I thought of joining you?

gloomy Sunday

gloomy is Sunday in shadows I spend it all

my heart and I have decided to end it all

soon there'll be candles and prayers that

are said I know

let them not weep let them know that

I'm glad to go

death is no dream for in death I'm caressing you

with the last breath of my soul I'll be blessing you

gloomy Sunday

dreaming, I was only dreaming

I wake and I find you asleep in the

deep of my heart here.

darling i hope that my dream never haunted you

my heart was feeling you how much I wanted you

gloomy Sunday

Ooo, "Gloomy Sunday," Sarah McLachlan sang a version of that song, too, which I highly recommend. It's not a completely happy song, but it's Sarah McLachlan, so does it really matter? Sorry, huge Sarah McLachlan fan. Actually, that's where I got my screen name. "Vox" and "Angel" are both Sarah McLachlan songs, and then SM is her initials. Anyway, sorry for the randomness. :D

Let me inside you

Into your room

I've heard it's lined

With the things you don't show.

Lay me beside you

Down on the floor--

I've been your lover

From the womb to the tomb.

I dress as your daughter

When the moon becomes round.

You be my mother

When everything's gone.

And she will always carry on--

Something is lost

But something is found.

They will keep on speaking her name,

Some things change

Some stay the same.

Keep beckoning to me

From behind that closed door--

The maid and the mother

And the crone that's grown old.

I hear your voice

Coming out of that hole--

I listen to you

And I want some more.

I listen to you

And I want some more.

And she will always carry on--

Something is lost

But something is found.

They will keep on speaking her name,

Some things change

Some stay the same . . .

For some reason, the first song that popped into my head for a Willow/Tara theme was She's an Angel by They Might Be Giants:

I met someone at the dog show

She was holding my left arm

But everyone was acting normal so I tried to look nonchalant.

We both said, "I really love you,"

The Shriners loaned us cars

We raced up and down the sidewalk twenty thousand million times

Why did they send her over anyone else?

How should I react? These things happen to other people

They don't happen at all, in fact

When you're following an angel

Does it mean you have to throw your body off a building?

Somewhere they're meeting on a pinhead

Calling you an angel, calling you the nicest things

I heard they had a space program

When they sing you can't hear, there's no air

Sometimes I think I kind of like that and

Other times I think I'm already there

Gonna ask for my admission

Gonna speak to the man in charge

The secretary says he's on another line,

Can I hold for a long, long time?

I found out she's an angel

I don't think she knows I know

I'm worried that something might happen to me

If anyone ever finds out

Why, why did they send her over anyone else?

How should I react? These things happen to other people

They don't happen at all

When you're following an angel

Does it mean you have to throw your body off a building?

Somewhere they're meeting on a pinhead

Calling you an angel, calling you the nicest things

I heard they had a space program

When they sing you can't hear, there's no air

Sometimes I think I kind of like that and

Other times I think I'm already there

Over on the Willow and Tara: Seasons 4-6 thread, people were talking about Tara's "baby dyke" years, when she first appeared on the show, and that reminded me of a song that I think is a perfect theme for Early Tara. Before she found out she wasn't a demon, when she still stuttered and hid her face behind her hair and didn't know who to trust. It's by Norah Jones, and it's just beautiful. I'm even thinking of vidding this.

Norah Jones - "Seven Years"

Spinning, laughing, dancing to her favorite song

A little girl with nothing wrong

Is all alone

Eyes wide open

Always hoping for the sun

And she'll sing her song to anyone

That comes along

Fragile as a leaf in autumn

Just fallin' to the ground

Without a sound

Crooked little smile on her face

Tells a tale of grace

That's all her own

(instrumental bridge)

Fragile as a leaf in autumn

Just fallin' to the ground

Without a sound

Spinning, laughing, dancing to her favorite song

She's a little girl with nothing wrong

And she's all alone

A little girl with nothing wrong

And she's all alone

Re: So totally interesting....

Postby Kieli » Mon Jun 16, 2003 10:34 am

So recently, my obsession has been this cute little country boy-band called Rascal Flatts. Well they have a couple of songs that reduce me to absolutely nothing and make me think of Willow and Tara. They're called "You", "Like I Am" "These Days" (this one reminds me of the split time between W/T)...really the whole damn CD (called "Melt" btw) reminds me of them. So here goes:

"You"

Chorus:

Every road that I've been down

The only truth that I have found

There's only one thing I can't live without

You

End Chorus

I was searching for something

I thought I would never find

Losing my mind

In and out of bad love

I thought I was born to lose

Then came you

I thought I knew what the real thing was

But nothing shakes me like your love does

I've been hypnotized

Now I realize

Every time I get lost in a tempermental mood

You still stay cool

Just when I think this life's about to

Drive me insane

You take the reins

Every time I feel I'm drifting off course

You're my compass, you're my one true north

In a mixed up world, you make sense to me, girl

Yeah, every road, girl leads me to you

And baby, that's all I need to know

"Like I Am"

Lying here with you

I watch you while you sleep

The dawn is closing in

With every breath you breathe

I can feel the change

The change you've made in me

But will I ever see

All the things you see in me

Chorus:

When you say that I'm one of a kind

Baby, I don't see it but you believe

That I'm so strong and true, I promise you

I'll try to be that kind of (wo)man

Because you love me like I am

End Chorus

When it comes to love

I may not know the rules

But there's one thing I know

My heart belongs to you, just you

"These Days"

Hey baby, is that you?

Wow your hair got so long

Yeah, yeah I love it, I really do

"Norma Jean" ain't that the song we'd sing

in the car driving downtown

Top down, making the rounds

Checking out the bands on Doheny Avenue

Yeah, life throws you curves

But you learned to swerve

Me, I swung and I missed

and the next thing you know

I'm reminiscing

Dreaming old dreams, wishing old wishes

Like you would be back again

Chorus:

I wake up in teardrops that fall down like rain

I put on that old song we danced to and then

I head off to my job

Guess not much has changed

Punch the clock, head for home

Check the phone just in case

Go to bed, dream of you

That's what I'm doing these days

Yeah that's what I'm doing

End Chorus

Someone told me after college

You ran off to Vegas

You married a rodeo cowgirl (I took the liberty of changing this word ;) )

Wow, that ain't the girl I knew

Me, I've been a few places

Mostly here or there once or twice

Still sorting out my life but I'm doing alright

Yeah it's good to see you too

Well hey girl you're late

And those planes, they don't wait

But if you ever come back around

This sleepy old town

Promise me you'll stop in to see an old friend

And until then

Chorus

Time flies by when the Devil drives.
It's not the pace of life that concerns me, it's the sudden stop at the end.

Sail Away by David Gray

Possession by Sarah Mac

Especiallly Possession...great words to portray their love story.

Listen to the wind blow

from across the great divide

Voices trapped in yearning

memories trapped in time.

The night is my companion

and solitude my guide

Would I spend forever here

and not be satisfied...

And I would be the one

to hold you down

kiss you so hard

I'll take your breath away

and after I'd wipe away the tears

just close your eyes dear.

Through this world I've stumbled

so many times betrayed

trying to find an honest word

to find the truth enslaved.

Oh you speak to me in riddles and

you speak to me in rhyme,

my body aches to breathe your breath

your words keep me alive

and I would be the one...

repeat chorus

Into this night I wander

it's morning that I dread

another day of knowing of

the path I fear to tread

Oh, into the sea of waking dreams

I follow without pride,

nothing stands between us here

and I won't be denied...

and I would be the one

to hold you down,

Kiss you so hard,

I'll take your breath away

and after, I'd wipe away the tears

just close your eyes....

That song just seems very fitting to their passion.

This is a current pop song, but it's extremely pretty, and I think it summarizes what Tara must have been feeling over the course of New Moon Rising (pre- "extra flamey"!).

Daniel Bedingfield, "If You're Not The One"

Quote:
If you’re not the one then why does my soul feel glad today?

If you’re not the one then why does my hand fit yours this way?

If you are not mine then why does your heart return my call

If you are not mine would I have the strength to stand at all

I never know what the future brings

But I know you are here with me now

We’ll make it through

And I hope you are the one I share my life with

I don’t want to run away but I can’t take it, I don’t understand

If I’m not made for you then why does my heart tell me that I am?

Is there any way that I can stay in your arms?

If I don’t need you then why am I crying on my bed?

If I don’t need you then why does your name resound in my head?

If you’re not for me then why does this distance maim my life?

If you’re not for me then why do I dream of you as my wife?

I don’t know why you’re so far away

But I know that this much is true

We’ll make it through

And I hope you are the one I share my life with

And I wish that you could be the one I die with

And I pray in you’re the one I build my home with

I hope I love you all my life

I don’t want to run away but I can’t take it, I don’t understand

If I’m not made for you then why does my heart tell me that I am

Is there any way that I can stay in your arms?

‘Cause I miss you, body and soul so strong that it takes my breath away

And I breathe you into my heart and pray for the strength to stand today

‘Cause I love you, whether it’s wrong or right

And though I can’t be with you tonight

And know my heart is by your side

I don’t want to run away but I can’t take it, I don’t understand

If I’m not made for you then why does my heart tell me that I am

Is there any way that I . . .

GG . . . and I can sorta relate. :whistle Out

I spose ' Wonderland ' by John Mayer. It focuses more on Willow and Tara's sexual relationship. :wink It's a great song!

'Cause if u want love, we'll make it

Swimming the deep sea of blankets

Take all your plans and break 'em

This is bound to be a while

Your body is a wonderland (i'll use my hands).....

Its actually quite a sweet song in the right sense!:)

After the tragedy of Tara's death I was left as an emotional

wreck. In these days I listened to this song over and over again.

SILENCE

You are lying there, I hear no silent cry

A nameless spirit under the cloudy sky

You have left my life and you left my heart

I feel endless days of present and past

Eagles fly into the night

and the world seems to die

Please come back into my life

I need your warming light

I open the grave

and close your eyes

I touch your face

where your spirit lies

Feel the silence

Feel the silence

Why have you left me - my beautyful one

I cant't accept it that you have gone

I kiss your lips, your face, your golden hair

I'll see you in heaven, I will meet you there

Eagles fly into the night

and the world seems to die

Please come back into my life

I need your warming light

I open the grave

and close your eyes

I touch your face

where your spirit lies

Feel the silence

Feel the silence

" Me and you " by Kenny Chesney

" Ordinary, no,

really don't think so.

Not a love this true.

Common destiny,

we're meant to be,

me and you.

Like a perfect scene,

from a movie screen.

We're a dream come true.

Suited perfectly,

for eternity,

me and you.

Everyday,

I need you even more,

and the nighttime too.

There's no way,

I could ever let you go,

even if I wanted to.

Everyday I live,

I try my best to give,

all I have to you.

Thank the stars above,

that we share this love.

Me and you.

Everyday,

I need you even more,

and the nighttime too.

There's no way,

I could ever let you go,

even if I wanted to.

Ordinary, no,

really don't think so.

Only a precious few,

ever make it last,

get as lucky as,

me and you.

Me and you....."

" I Could Fall in Love " by Selena

I could lose my heart tonight

If you don't turn and walk away

'Cause the way I feel I might

Lose control and let you stay

'Cause I could take you in my arms

And never let go

I could fall in love with you

I could fall in love with you

I could only wonder how

Touching you would make me feel

But if I take that chance right now

Tomorrow will you want me still?

So I should keep this to myself

And never let you know

I could fall in love with you

I could fall in love with you

And I know it's not right

And I guess I should try to do what I should do

But I could fall in love

Fall in love with you

I could fall in love with you

So I should keep this to myself

And never let you know

I could fall in love with you

I could fall in love with you

I could fall in love

I could fall in love

With you...

Dreaming of You by Selena

Late at night when all the world is sleeping

I stay up and think of you

And I wish on a star that somewhere you are

Thinking of me too

Cause I'm dreaming of you tonight

Till tomorrow I'll be holding you tight

And there's nowhere in the world I'd rather be

Than here in my room dreaming about you and me

Wonder if you ever see me

And I wonder if you know I'm there

If you looked in my eyes

Would you see what's inside

Would you even care?

I just wanna hold you close

But so far all I have a dreams of you

So I wait for the day

And the courage to say how much I love you

Yes I do!

I'll be dreaming of you tonight

Till tomorrow I'll be holding you tight

And there's nowhere in the world I'd rather be

Than here in my room dreaming about you and me

Late at night when all the world is sleeping

I stay up and think of you

And I still can't believe

That you came up to me and said "I love you"

I love you too!

Now I'm dreaming with you tonight

Till tomorrow and for all of my life

And there's nowhere in the world I'd rather be

Than here in my room dreaming of you endlessly

Dreaming of you tonight

Till tomorrow I'll be holding you tight

And there's nowhere in the world I'd rather be

Than here in my room

I'll be dreaming of you tonight

Endlessly

And I'll be holding you tight

Dreaming...with you...tonight

This song is perfect for when Willow visits Tara's grave after she's died. It's a Josh Groban song.

To Where You Are by Josh Groban

Who can say for certain

Maybe you're still here

I feel you all around me

Your memories so clear

Deep in the stillness

I can hear you speak

You're still an inspiration

Can it be(?)

That you are mine

Forever love

And you are watching over me from up above

Fly me up to where you are

Beyond the distant star

I wish upon tonight

To see you smile

If only for awhile to know you're there

A breath away's not far

To where you are

Are you gently sleeping

Here inside my dream

And isn't faith believing

All power can't be seen

As my heart holds you

Just one beat away

I cherish all you gave me everyday

'Cause you are mine

Forever love

Watching me from up above

And I believe

That angels breathe

And that love will live on and never leave

Fly me up

To where you are

Beyond the distant star

I wish upon tonight

To see you smile

If only for awhile

To know you're there

A breath away's not far

To where you are

I know you're there

A breath away's not far

To where you are

Okay, I don't know if this has been said, but 'It's You' by Michelle Branch always makes me think of Willow & Tara.

If tomorrow never comes

I would want just one thing

I would tell it to the stars and the sun

I would write it for the world to see

And it's you-ou-oooou

The light changes when you're in the room

Oh it's you-ou-oooou

Oh it's you

If tomorrow never comes

I would want just one wish

To kiss your quiet mouth

And trace the steps with my finger tips

And it's you-ou-ooou

The light changes when you're in the room

Oh it's you-ou-oooou

Oh it's you

Oh it's you-ou

Oh it's you-ou-oooou

Oh it's you

Oh oh it's you

Oh it's you-ou

Jann Arden's "Thing For You" says it all

La la la la la la la la la

I feel like you know me

I know well I know I know you do

I've got this thing going on

Inside my head

I've got this thing for you

I like your face I like your body

Like your feet I like your nose

I like your chest beneath the covers

Like your heart I like your soul

I like your life inside me pounding like a heart inside a dream

Inside a dreamer that's been dreaming of a perfect symphony

I like the way you walk beside me like a paper in the wind

The way you swing your arms so gladly

Where you end and I begin

I like everything

About you

Baby I do

I feel like you know me well

I've tried to let you see me for yourself

I feel like I'm…I'm out of my head

I've got this thing for you

I like your face I like your body

Like your feet I like your nose

I like your chest beneath the covers

Like your heart I like your soul

I like your life inside me pounding like a heart inside a dream

Inside a dreamer that's been dreaming of a perfect symphony

I like the way you walk beside me like a paper in the wind

The way you swing your arms so gladly

Where you end and I begin

I like everything

About you

Baby I do

La la la la la la la la la

La la la la la la la la la

I like your face I like your body

Like your feet I like your nose

I like your chest beneath the covers

Like your heart I like your soul

I like your life inside me pounding like a heart inside a dream

Inside a dreamer that's been dreaming of a perfect symphony

I like the way you walk beside me like a paper in the wind

The way you swing your arms so gladly

Where you end and I begin

I like everything

About you

Baby I do

Okay, okay, I know, I know, everyone has said this song over and over and over. But, I can't help it. I love this song. And I could be anywhere, for example Seattle Airport, and here this song and all I can think about is Willow and Tara, on Tara's Birthday in 'Family'. Yeappers, you guessed it....Melanie Doane - I Can't Take My Eye's Off You... =)

So dear to me

Always keep me company

Who needs to go outside

I will be your silent bride

I can't take my eyes off you

Nothing ever needs to be said

You send your message

right into my head

You fill me up when I'm alone

So soothing is your monotone

I can't take my eyes off you

I can't take my eyes off you

So maybe you're not as real

as the others

But I choose you over all my past lovers

For they have come and they have gone

but I can always turn you on

I can't take my eyes off you

I can't take my eyes off you

Um...... how about Evanescence - My Immortal:

I'm so tired of being here

Suppressed by all my childish fears

And if you have to leave

I wish that you would just leave

'Cause your presence still lingers here

And it won't leave me alone

These wounds won't seem to heal

This pain is just too real

There's just too much that time cannot erase

[CHORUS:]

When you cried I'd wipe away all of your tears

When you'd scream I'd fight away all of your fears

I held your hand through all of these years

But you still have

All of me

You used to captivate me

By your resonating life

Now I'm bound by the life you left behind

Your face it haunts

My once pleasant dreams

Your voice it chased away

All the sanity in me

These wounds won't seem to heal

This pain is just too real

There's just too much that time cannot erase

[Chorus]

I've tried so hard to tell myself that you're gone

But though you're still with me

I've been alone all along

[Chorus]

The R+J version of "Kissing you" by Des'ree

Pride can stand a thousand trials

The strong will never fall

But watching stars without you,

My soul cried.

Heaving heart is full of pain,

Oh, oh, the aching.

'Cos I'm kissing you, oh.

I'm kissing, oh.

Touch me deep, pure and true

Gift to me forever.

'Cos I'm kissing you, oh

I'm kissing you.

Where are you now? (x2)

'Cos I'm kissing you

I'm kissing you, oh, ohhhh!

How about "When I'm Gone" by 3 Doors Down. I've always thought that it conveys the way Willow was feeling after their breakup and the struggle she was having with magic.

There's another world inside of me

That you may never see

There's secrets in this life

That I can't hide

Somewhere in this darkness

There's a light that I can't find

Maybe it's too far away...

Maybe I'm just blind...

Maybe I'm just blind...

[chorus]

So hold me when I'm here

Right me when I'm wrong

Hold me when I'm scared

And love me when I'm gone

Everything I am

And everything in me

Wants to be the one

You wanted me to be

I'll never let you down

Even if I could

I'd give up everything

If only for your good

So hold me when I'm here

Love me when I'm wrong

You can hold me when I'm scared

But you won't always be there

So love me when I'm gone

[end chorus]

Love me when I'm gone...

When your education x-ray

Cannot see under my skin

I won't tell you a damn thing

That I could not tell my friends

Now roaming through this darkness

I'm alive but I'm alone

Part of me is fighting this

But part of me is gone

[chorus]

Maybe I'm just blind...

[chorus]

Love me when I'm gone...

Love me when I'm gone

When I'm Gone

When I'm Gone

When I'm Gone

Just my own thoughts!

It has to be I miss you by incubus

It just encapsulates everything, its great...

To see you when I wake up

is a gift I didnt think could be real.

To know that you feel the same as I do

is a threefold, utopian dream.

You do something to me that I cant explain

So would I be out of line if I said

I miss you. (?)

I see your picture, I smell your skin on the empty pillow next to mine.

You have only been gone ten days,

but already Im wasting away.

I know I'll see you again

whether far or soon.

But I need you to know that I care

and I miss you.

Aww, brings a tear to my eye, hehe.

Okay, I just found this thread and have downloaded about 20 new songs so far in the past half hour (no joke)

I have some songs that I'm pretty sure no one has posted, and if someone did and i missed them... oh well, i'm gonna post em anyway.

They're both by Michelle Branch, cuz as previous kittens have said almost anything of hers can be applied to W/T

I'd rather be in love reminds me of how Willow must have felt pre NMR, and Find Your Way Back totally suits Tara's thoughts post Tabula Rasa.

I'd Rather Be In Love

I cannot help it

I couldn't help it if I tried

The same old heartbeat

fills the emptiness I have inside

And I know that you can't fight love

so I won't complain

'Cause why would I stop the fire that

keeps me going on?

'Cause when there's you, I feel whole

And there's no better feeling in the world

But without you, I'm alone

And I'd rather be in love with you

Turn out the lights now

To see is to believe

I just want you near me

I just want you here with me

And I'd give up everything only for you

It's the least that I could do

'Cause when there's you, I feel whole

And there's no better feeling in the world

But without you, I'm alone

And I'd rather be in love with you

And I feel you holding me

Why are we afraid to be in love?

To be loved

I can't explain, I know it's tough

To be loved

And I feel you holding me

Oh oh

'Cause when there's you, I feel whole

And there's no better feeling in the world

Butwithout you, I'm alone

And I'd rather be in love

'Cause when there's you, I feel whole

And there's no better feeling in the world

But without you, I'm alone

And I'd rather be in love

Yes I'd rather be in love

Oh I'd rather be in love with you

And I feel you holding me

Oh oh

-----

Find Your Way Back

I used to get away with so much

Now I can't get away

I even thought that it was simple

to say the things I wanted to say

And you told me

Everything I wanted to hear

And you sold me

Now I don't know how I should feel

I should know me

And baby you would think I knew better

I'm finding my way back to you

and everything I used to be

And waiting is all that I can do

Until you find your way back to me

What if I said what I was thinking?

What if that says too much?

When everybody's got a reason

I feel like giving up

And you told me

Everything I wanted to hear

And you sold me

Now I don't know how I should feel

I should know me

And baby you would think I knew better

I'm finding my way back to you

And everything I used to be

And waiting is all that I can do

Until you find your way back to me

Until you find your way back to me

oh

Until you find your way back to me

I used to get away with so much

I'm finding my way back to you

And everything I used to be

And waiting is all I can do

Until you find your way back to me

oh oh ya, oh

And waiting is all that I can do

Until you find your way back to me

oh

I used to get away with so much

I've always thought the Beatles song Something is great for the girls. "There's something in the way she moves, attracts me like no other lover."

This song is so great because it's all about being afraid of how you feel. It reminds me of even when we first meet her, when Tara's going to say something and then looks down. My favorite line is "The answer's no until you ask," but "I survey the shoes" is also good for prettyscaredyTara. My lover calls this "the heartbeat song." I love how it's all about nonverbal communication - the doll's eye crystal scene, much?

Joan of Arc, by the Actionslacks.

Hey I know

That there's something inside And you're afraid to let it show

It's OK

'Cause I think you know I know you know

The things you want to say

I think I know what you seek

You don't need words to speak

It's the way you look at me that says

That you could be my Joan of Arc

And I could be your Bonaparte

And everything could be oh so swell

Well?

Follow me down

Throw me a line

Just say a word

Give me a sign

I stare at my shoes

And survey the style

Give me an inch

And they'll walk a mile

It's so true

That people feel regret for all the things they never do

And if you go away

I will never bother you again but I will say

The answer's no until you ask

You'll be sad when this has passed

You'll be old and wish for this someday

And you could be my Joan of Arc

And I could be your Bonaparte

And everything could be oh so swell

Well?

Sweetie, I'm a fag. I been there. - Tara (Dead Things shooting script)

A muscle cramp? in your. . . pants? - Tara (Older & Far Away)

I can scramble an egg, I won't eat it but I can scramble it. - Amber
