Hello Kittens-



While not wanting to give money to ME, I do want digital W/T. Then I saw something that solves my problems, including money- BtVS at the library. Later that day I ran across Seasons 1 and 2 at a used music store. You get the crisp clear picture, ME gets squat, and you help keep independent music stores in business or spend time at your local library. Much Kitten winning!

Just got my Season Six in the mail today. Ooooh, there's a very pretty picture of Willow and Tara on the back sleve of the DVD jackets.

Um... could someone kindly tell me which disc the outtakes are on? And I know there was a link somewhere to the outtakes in this thread, I think. Does anyone remember where or can someone post the link again? Thank you!!!

Okay, okay, okay... I tried to support the cause of not buying any of the seasons on DVD but... let me say that a little better (with feeling) BUT!!!, my family members just sent me 4 copies, total, of season 6. I try and try and I still can't do it. Oh well, I made a big WOOHOO when I saw Tara's face on disc 2 of the set. =)

I am very disappointed, I ordered my season six from amazon.com so I could get it cheaper, well it came today and it was missing disc 3, how does that happen?? anyway now i have to send it back and i have to wait even longer for it!!

I have just begun going through my new Season 6 DVDs and find myself once again delighted at the performances of both AH and AB, and saddened at how well this season began as compared with how badly it ended .



So far, my favorite disc is No.2, with its portrait of AB/Tara and the "Once More With Feeling" behind-the-scenes featurette . It was delightful watching Aly "lip-synching" David Fury's "Mustard Song" and watching Amber discuss "Under Your Spell" and watching her dance numbers from a different point of view.



Now, can someone help me with the following two questions:

1. I remember that in AB/EC's "backup dance" to SMG's number "Life's A Show", Amber is supposed to have crashed into a pole ! I have watched the sequence several times and cannot see this (she does appear to deliberately "hide" behind a pole, though ). Can anyone enlighten me as to this event?

2. I would like echo to Jennpurr's request: if there are Easter Eggs, can someone please let us know how to access them? Thanks!

She bangs into the pole right where Buffy sings 'single' in the line 'And every single verse can make it that much worse'. You don't actually see her hit the pole you just sorta see her jerk backwards a little dazed and then hiding behind the pole laughing and dusting herself off!! Quite amusing actually!

I haven't checked out S6 yet (rewatching S5 at the moment), but found this on DVD reviewer--



Disc 2 go to language options. Highlight resume episode and press up once to highlight a B. This will take you to a small featurette about a Joss Whedon signing session for the once more with feeling album.

Havent bothered finding the others yet but if you do find them post them here and save me the bother

On Disc 2, from the Main Menu, select the "Once More with Feeling" episode, and access the 'Language' option. Once there, highlight the 'Subtitles' option and press LEFT to highlight a "hidden symbol". Select it to reveal some footage from a soundtrack signing!



Note: That would be the soundtrack signing footage that features serveral Kittens, we got not voice time, but lots of pics of us and a nice close up of the back of the Got Tara shirts. Amber is non existent in the piece, you get to see her hand when Jossy is droning on.



DVD-Rom Feature

On disc four, go to [Doublemeat Palace], [Language]. Click on [Resume] then [Up] and B will appear. Click and a screen will tell you that there is a dvd-rom feature for a call sheet.



As far as I know that is it for the Easter Eggs, glad Amber/Tara finally got to be on a disc and it was the one with the two best episodes of the season, OMWF and TabRas.

HOLY MOLY!!! I so must not be nerdy enough. When I started reading about easter eggs, I thought of the real egg egg. Do all of the DVD sets have easter eggs??? Rally, thanks tons for the info. You have increased my view pleasure. =)

Hello Aaron!

Like you, I offer my gracious thanks to Rally for indicating how to access the BtVS Season 6 Easter Eggs.



In answer to your question, no, not all DVDs have easter eggs, and I am really grateful for that. Why? When I pay good money for something, I expect to know upfront everything I'm getting for my hard-earned cash. I do not think it is "fun" or "cute" to have "hidden" features on a disc !! In fact, there was so much public protest over the "hidden" features on the first "Harry Potter" movie, that they decided to forego them on the second movie.

Still going through my Season 6 DVDs...



While the "Outtakes" section on disc 6 unfortunately has no AB things, there is delightful Aly stuff:



1. In one take, she refers to the main character as "Duffy"



2. A character whispers to her, "We have to talk", to which Aly replies "After my acting class, 'cause that was awful."



3. During one scene, SMG apparently creeps up behind Aly and

licks her ear!



There are, of course, a lot of NB goofs (um...I guess he makes the most errors), and a very cute one with MT forgetting her lines while she is wearing those creepy "blank-eye" contacts in the demon possession scene in "Afterlife".

Oops, you are indeed correct, Nimbus, it is EC doing the licking.



As one of the commentaries pointed out, throughout much of Season 6 EC's hair color and style were very similar to SMG's, and in the dark it was sometimes difficult to tell them apart!

I'm just getting around to buying Season 6 of Buffy on DVD. I get home and watch the first disk and then I go to put the second disk in and it says its damaged so today I go back to Walmart, cuz thats where I bought it from, and exchange it. I come back home and put the second disk in and it says its damaged.



Did anyone else have this problem with the second disk? Should I go back to Walmart and exchange it again or just get my money back and go to Kmart or something?

I've also had problems with Buffy discs- I had to return both S4 and S5 because of discs that would not play and froze both of my home DVD players. I don't think it matters where you get the new one from. I think it is a mastering problem.
