Believe me, no one around here will blame you, poor soul, for blocking it out. I'm sure you do remember, though, the party line that everyone from Buffy HQ have continued to spout about how Tara's death was "necessary" because it was the "only way" to drive Willow over the edge enough to make her do the things Joss wanted her to do. Remembering this makes it particularly infuriating, though, that while Tara's death was "necessary" to begin this storyline, the only thing "necessary" to bring it to a close was Xander spewing an anecdote about a yellow crayon that Willow broke in kindergarten. Brought Wil back to her senses in just a few moments. Worth killing Tara for?
Not so much.
