SCENE ONE:

Tara climbed into bed and shut her eyes. Willow remained standing at the foot of the bed.

“Tara, baby, listen.”Willow’s voice was quiet, wondering weather or not Tara would hear her out. Tara did not open her eyes, but she listened to her lover.

Willow continued, taking Tara not interrupting her as a good sign.” You mean more to me that anything else in the world. Sometimes I just don’t know how to stop myself using magic. I know that’s stupid, but I, I guess I think the magic makes me a better person. I thought you would think that too.”

Tara opened her eyes and sat up, looking at Willow. Willow looked straight at her lover. She took a deep breath and started again.” in the Bronze, I thought you were just trying to ruin that feeling for me, but I see now you said what you said because you were worried. I threw it in your face didn’t I?” Tara nodded.

Willow walked over and sat on the bed next to her lover and took Tara’s hands in her own. ”Baby, I don’t want us to fight.” Willow began. ”cuz the last time we did you-“

Willow couldn’t finish that sentence. The memory of what Glory did to her beloved hurt her so much. Tara squeezed Willow’s hands.

“I know, baby, I know” she loving reassured. She leaned forward to kiss Willow, but Willow stopped her.” no baby,” she began.

“I need to get this out. What I’m saying is, you’re my always. I don’t need the magic to make me feel special. All I need is you to love me and, if you want me to choose between you and the magic, I choose you.”

Tara began to cry. She pulled Willow into her arms and kissed all over her face. ”oh baby, I love you too, more than anything.”

PART TWO

Tara awoke early to Buffy’s alarm clock. She rolled over on to her side and looked at her sleeping lover.

Tara thought. .Tara stroked her lover’s cheek to wake her up.

Willow started to stir. “Morning” she grumbled without opening her eyes. thought Tara.

Tara leaned down and kissed her lover’s cheek. Willow responded by pulling Tara down for a passionate tongue-dancing kiss, which left both women breathless when they stopped.

”What time is it?” Willow asked,” “just after seven.” Tara replied while heading into the bathroom. After she had shut the door, Willow jumped out of bed and pulled a large trunk out from underneath the bed.

Inside it there were spell- books, potions and charms. There was also a large orb, which had a glow, but not all the way around it. Willow picked the orb up, she thought to herself.

She put the trunk safely hidden back under the bed and picked Amy out from her cage. “Don’t worry Amy,” Willow said. “Soon you’ll be human again, Tara won’t be mad. She’ll see that I needed to bring you back, won’t she.” Willow put Amy down and proceeded to get dressed.

she thought.

T.B.C WITH PART TWO B

Scene one

When the scoobies arrived home, Willow said her goodnights, and made her way upstairs. Tara stopped her at the bottom, and gave her a long, passionate kiss. “Goodnight sweetie” she said innocently. All Willow could do was nod before entering her and Tara’s room.

She took Amy out of her cage and placed her on the floor. Willow sat cross-legged beside Amy, and circled the incense she had taken from the “MAGIC BOX” around them.

She lit a candle and took out the glowing orb, which now glowed all the way around. She began to chant- “Diana Hecitie, I hereby licence thee to depart. Goddess of creatures great and small, I conjure thee to…” Willow was interrupted by Dawn bursting into the room. “Hey Willow, what are you doing? I thought you said you had home work.” Dawn asked, wondering why Willow was doing magic again so quickly.

Willow tried to hide her frustration as best she could, she took a deep breath

“Yeah Dawn, this is magical homework I’m doing.” Dawn nodded her head and smiled.

“Oh o.k., so Tara knows about this right?” She asked, Willow nodded her head, “yeah Dawn, she knows.”

“Cool” Dawn replied. “So did you want something?” Willow asked, trying to get rid of the teen. Dawn nodded, “yeah, I just wanted to see if you would come downstairs with us, Tara sent me cuz she said she missed you.”

Willow turned to the orb, which was now not glowing at all and frowned. She turned to Dawn “sure, let’s go.” She said, as un-annoyed as she could as she followed Dawn out the room after tidying up.

All the way through the movie, Willow was thinking of ways to bring Amy back that wouldn’t be interrupted. She was sitting in Tara’s lap, and Tara was drawing make-believe circles on her thigh.

Buffy was getting increasingly annoyed at the lack of fighting in “Runaway Bride”, and would occasionally shout out “Come on Maggie, punch him!!!!” When the movie ended, Xander and Anya said their goodnights and went home.

Willow decided to head for bed, and Tara and Dawn went into the kitchen to get something to eat as Buffy left to go patrol.

“So Dawnie, you have fun tonight?” Tara asked as she got out some potato chips for her and Dawn. “Yeah, I didn’t really get the movie though.” The youngest Summers replied. Tara laughed, and handed Dawn a can of Coke. Dawn took a large drink, “I think it’s cool that you’re letting Willow do some magic.” She said. Tara looked at her strangely,

“what do you mean Dawn?” She asked.

“Well, you know that spell Willow was doing on Amy upstairs.” Dawn replied. Suddenly it dawned on Tara that Willow had been lying to her. She tried to hide her tears as she spoke to Dawn.

“Uh, Dawn, I think I’m going to turn in, goodnight.” She said sadly as she walked upstairs. “What’s her deal?” Dawn said to herself, slightly confused about what just happened.

T.B.C with a different “Tabula Rasa”

Scene one

Tara woke up the next morning with a tear-stained pillow. She turned to face Willow, but she was gone.

thought Tara.

She got dressed and went downstairs to the kitchen, where Dawn was attempting to make

Pancakes.

“Hey Dawnie” Tara said as cheerfully as she could. “Morning Tara, Willow’s gone to the MAGIC BOX, she said she wouldn’t be long though. Tara nodded, “uh, Dawn, I think I’m gonna go shopping today, you be okay alone?” She asked. Dawn was about to make some sarcastic comment about being old enough to look after herself, but was interrupted by Buffy.

“Somebody mention shopping?” She asked excitedly. “Yeah, I was just gonna head into town, you wanna come?” Tara asked. Buffy’s face lit up “sure, I’m not one to turn down a girl’s day out, you coming Dawn?” She asked.

Dawn shook her head. “Nah, I’m gonna head over to Janice’s later, her cousin’s coming over and he’s supposed to be really cute.” She said excitedly.

“Whatever, what about Willow?” Buffy asked Tara. Tara shook her head, “uh, no, she has a lot of homework to do.”

Dawn was about to interrupt by saying that Willow would be able to go with them, buy was cut off by Tara saying “o.k., c’mon Buffy, we better get going if we don’t want to get caught in the rush” before dragging Buffy out.

Dawn watched them leave. “Tara’s acting really weird” she said to herself.

Tara and Buffy sat facing each other in the Espresso Pump. There was an awkward silence between them. Tara decided to speak, “you o.k. Buffy?” She asked. Buffy snapped out of whatever daydream she was in.

“Yeah, I’m fine”, she lied. Tara wasn’t convinced, “c’mon Buffy, tell me. You never know, I might be able to help.” Buffy laughed slightly, “I really doubt it” she said miserably.

Tara wasn’t about to let this lie, she thought, “Well Buffy, you never know until you try.” She said. Buffy looked straight at her, “Tara, if I tell you, you must promise to keep it just between us, can you do that?” She asked.

Buffy needed someone to know her secret; she didn’t want to suffer in silence anymore. Tara nodded her head. “I promise” she replied honestly. “Well, you know how you guys did that spell to bring me back?” She began, Tara nodded.

Buffy took a deep breath and continued. “Well, there’s something that I never told you.” “What?” Tara asked, she could see that there were tears forming in Buffy’s eyes, and she was concerned for her friend. B

uffy could see her friend getting impatient, and decided she should just come out and say it, “I was in heaven Tara, before you guys brought me back, I was in heaven.”

Tara’s face fell, “oh”, was all she could reply.

Willow was on her way home from the “MAGIC BOX” with Xander and Anya when they bumped into Tara and Buffy.

“Hey guys” Willow said excitedly, happy to see her lover. Tara smiled at them, and then looked away. “I think Buffy has something to tell you all” she said as she nudged the Slayer.

After Buffy had told Tara about her being in heaven, Tara had convinced her to tell the rest of the gang, as it would make her feel better, and they could help her to deal with it.

“What’s up Buff?” Xander asked. “Yes, you have the something look” Anya added. Buffy looked at them. “It’s about the spell you did to bring me back-“she began as she started to cry. “I wasn’t in hell”. “What do you mean?” Willow asked, hoping Buffy wasn’t going to say what she though she was going to say. “You brought me out of heaven”.

“Oh god!” Xander cried. Anya stood silently, and Willow began to cry. Even though she was angry with her lover, Tara couldn’t stand to see Willow upset, so she went to put her arms around the red-head.

“I can’t deal with just now, I’m sorry, I just can’t!” Buffy cried as she ran towards the only place she felt she could, Spike’s.

The next night, Willow, Tara, Xander and Anya were all gathered around Xander’s dining table. They were sitting in an uncomfortable silence, so Anya decided to break the ice by asking-“do you think she walked around wearing like, Birkenstocks and played a harp? Cuz those are just not flattering. Y’know, the clunky sandals, not a harp. I mean who doesn’t look good with a harp?”

They all looked at her as though she had just grown horns. “What? I’m just saying what everyone else is thinking, right baby?” She tried to get Xander’s support. “You are attractive, and have many good qualities”, he said, trying to change the subject.

“It’s totally not stupid to wonder what it was like for Buffy” Tara said, trying to make Anya feel better. “But it could have been any one of a zillion heavenly dimensions, all we know is that, it was a good place and she was happy there.” She added.

Willow finally spoke up, “we took her away from that, we wrecked it for her.” She said sadly. Xander was getting incredibly tired of Willow’s guilt and self-pity.

“We didn’t wreck”, he began, “we didn’t know.” Willow looked at him. “We didn’t want to know. We were so selfish, I was so selfish.” She said as tears formed in her eyes.

Xander sighed. “Maybe we were, I just feel weird feeling bad that my friend’s not dead it’s, too mind-boggling, so I’ve decided to simplify the whole thing. Me like Buffy-Buffy’s alive-so me glad.”

Tara nodded her head. “Not to be Miss Psycho-Pep squad, But we have got to stop obsessing about what we did and start trying to make things better for Buffy”. Anya nodded her head in agreement, “I’m with Miss Psycho-Pep squad.” She said.

“We need to spend more time with her.” Xander began, “maybe have weekly dinners over here, or uh, a book club! Short books, videos!” He said.

Willow suddenly got an idea, “I can fix it, I know a spell that can make her pain lessen.” She said. “No!” Tara snapped, “No more spells!” She said angrily. Willow looked at her, “Tara listen, I know that I’m on a magical break, but this is for Buffy.” She said, trying to convince her lover. Tara sighed, “how many times are you going to lie to me?!” She asked angrily.

Xander stood up, “Uh, I’m gonna go get that phone you probably don’t hear it, high pitched ring, ears like a dog” he said as he walked into the bedroom. “I’m gonna go help you with that”, Anya said as she followed him.

Willow looked at Tara confused. “Do you think I’m stupid?!” Tara asked. “What do you mean?” Willow asked.

Tara looked straight at her, “I know you’ve been trying out spells on Amy!” Willow realised that Dawn must have told Tara.

“No baby, no, please let me explain!” Tara looked down, unable to look at Willow. Willow continued, “Tara, I am gonna try and stop using magic. I was trying to bring Amy back because I thought that if I did that now, it would be easier for me to stop altogether, because there would be nothing tempting me.” Tara looked at her, “really?” She asked hopefully, “really” Willow reassured.

“Baby, if you let me do this, I promise I will stop using magic altogether.” Tara smiled and forcefully pulled Willow into a hug and kissed her. “Oh baby, I love you, I should have known you would be tempted by that. Of course you can bring Amy back, and then I’ll help you stop.” Willow smiled, and pulled her lover in for another kiss.

T.B.C with a different version of “Smashed”.

Scene one

Willow was sitting alone on her bed. Tara had gone over to Xander and Anya’s with Dawn to try and help Anya pick out bridesmaid dresses, and Buffy was out on patrol. Willow decided this was the night she was going to bring Amy back.

She hadn’t told Tara as she wanted it to be a surprise. She walked over too Amy’s cage and took her out. She had been doing some serious re-searching, and she had found a shorter way to bring her back. She placed Amy onto the bed.

“Reveale” She said, and a piece of paper with instructions on it appeared on the bed beside Amy. Willow read it over and spoke the words written on it.

“Cio che fu non e piu. Cio che fu fatto disfa. Passato e IL pericolo, finite e la provo. Mettie le cosa a posto.” Suddenly, redlightning flashed all around Amy as she transforms into a naked human, still sitting on the bed.

Willow smiled. “Welcome home Amy.” She’s says happily.

Willow appeared back in her room after leaving Amy to get dressed with a cup of hot chocolate. “Hey, you want some?” She asks. Amy shakes her head. “No thanks, still kinda queasy.” She replied.

They hear a siren from outside and Amy snaps her head towards, closing it magically in the process. Willow looks startled, “you okay?” She asks. Amy nods, “yeah, just, everything feels weird. But, you know, everything’ll be fine once I get back to school right?” Willow looks away.

“What?” Amy asks, slightly worried. “Nothing, just, there’s something you should know.” Willow begins. “What?!” Amy interrupts, “well, high school kinda, ended. Three years ago.” Amy looked like she was about to cry. “I uh, I need to go to the bathroom.” She said, as she left Willow alone.

Fifteen minutes later, Amy emerged from the bathroom, ready to talk to Willow. “So”, she began, “the high school blew up, Buffy died, Xander’s getting married, and you’re a lesbian?” She asked. “Pretty much.” Willow confirmed. “Cool, “Amy replied.

Suddenly they heard the front door open and Amy began to get scared again. “It’s okay,” Willow soothed, “its okay.”

They heard Dawn and Tara laughing down stairs. Willow sighed happily, “See, it’s okay, it’s just Dawn and Tara.” “Tara?” Amy questioned.

Willow smiled. “Tara’s my girl-friend, you’ll like her though, she’s amazing. She’s kind, and she’s beautiful, and she’s a witch like us, and she’s funny-.” “And you’re whipped” Amy laughed.

Across town, Buffy was getting ready to leave Spike’s crypt after another kissing session with the vamp. She opened the door, but was stopped by him closing it again.

“Stay, He begged. “I can’t, Dawn’s expecting me.” As much as she wanted to stay, she knew she couldn’t. She kissed him goodnight and left. “See you tomorrow pet!” He shouted after her.

The bed room door opened and Tara walked in and out arms around Willow and kissed her passionately, as she hadn’t seen Amy.

“Hey baby”, she said as she kissed Willow’s cheek and neck. “Hey sweetie” Willow replied as she cuddled her lover. Tara sighed. “Ugh, you wouldn’t believe the day I’ve I had. I think I must’ve looked at about six million different brides-maids...” Tara stopped speaking when she saw Amy sitting on the bed. She looked at Amy, then Willow, then back at Amy again. “Uh, hi, strange girl who’s on my and Willow’s bed, wearing Willow’s clothes, uh, honey what’s going on?” she asked her lover.

“Uh Tara, this is Amy, Amy Tara, Tara Amy”. Willow replied. “How you doing?” Amy asked politely. “Fine, you?” Tara asked. Amy shrugged, “O.k. I guess, just, everything’s weird.” Tara nodded in understanding, thinking about how hard it had been for her to adjust after Willow brought back her sanity.

“Uh honey, can I talk to you for a second?” Tara asked. “Sure” Willow replied, as Tara took her hand and led her into the hall. “So” Tara asked, “yeah” willow replied. “Are you mad Tara?” Willow asked, hoping the answer would be no. Tara smiled and pulled Willow in for a hug. “No sweetie, I’m not mad. Now I can help you stop.” Tara pulled back after kissing Willow. “How is she really?” She asked. Willow shrugged, “she seems fine, which wasn’t what I was expecting. I thought she would be, I don’t know” “you thought she would be over the moon, didn’t you? You thought she would be grateful.” Tara interrupted. Willow nodded.

“Honey, don’t worry, it’s just gonna take some time for her to adjust.” Tara re-assured. “Yeah” Willow nodded, as they headed back into the bedroom to talk to Amy.

T.B.C with “Smashed” part 2.

Scene one

Willow, Buffy, Xander and Anya were all gathered around the table in the Magic Box. Tara and Dawn were on their way home from the movies.

The gang were still trying to find out if the information about the master was true and they were looking for possible apocalypse signs. “Ugh!!!” Anya cried. “This is so frustrating, we’re never gonna find any on this stupid Master guy!”

She moaned, as she slammed her book down. Xander put his arm around her to try and comfort her “tell you what Ahn, why don’t you go take a break and count the money” he said soothingly. Anya’s face lit up immediately, and she gave him a big hug and kiss, before getting up and opening the cash register.

Tara and Dawn walked in. Dawn sat beside Buffy and Xander, as Tara snuggled in Willow’s lap.

“So,” Xander began, “you girls have fun today?” Dawn nodded, “first we went to the movies, then the Espresso pump then Tara got me these really cool boots, look” Dawn said excitedly as she pulled a pair of black leather knee-high boots.

“Great, now people get to walk past you and shout “slut” every time you wear them” Buffy said sarcastically.

“You’re just jealous Buffy!” Dawn snapped back. “Whatever” Buffy grumbled back.

Tara snuggled further into Willow’s lap. “You have fun today?” She whispered in her lover’s ear. “Yeah, I should get back though; I told Amy I wouldn’t leave her alone for too long.” Willow replied. Tara nodded and stood up. “Guys, we’re gonna head home, see you later.” Willow said as she and Tara left.

When they arrived home, the house was dark “Amy, we’re home” Willow yelled.

“Oh thank God!” Amy said as she appeared from the kitchen.

“I thought you said you wouldn’t be gone that long?” She said. “Sorry” Willow and Tara said at the same time.

“Let’s go somewhere!” Amy said suddenly. Willow and Tara looked at each other. “Don’t you wanna go see your dad first?” She asked. Amy shook her head. “Can’t, not yet. Too many questions” she replied. Willow nodded.

“Sure, we can go somewhere Amy, we’ll go to the Bronze.” Willow said. She turned to her lover.

“You coming baby?” She asked. Tara shook her head. “Nah, I think I’m going to stay here, I’m kinda tired.” Willow frowned, “okay.” She said unhappily. “I’ll just be a second getting ready Amy.” She said as she headed up the stairs.

“Uh willow” Amy said. “Yeah?” Willow asked. “Do you have anything else I could wear? No offence, it’s just, this stuff’s a little…quirky.” She said, trying her best not to hurt Willow’s feelings. Willow laughed, “Sure Amy, I’ll find you something.”

After an hour playing pool at the Bonze, Amy decided she wanted some fun. She waited for Willow to come back with their drinks, then she clicked her fingers ad a woman came straight over to Willow.

“Hey, you wanna go out sometime?” Willow looked startled. “uh thanks but I’m already with someone” she said as she dragged Amy to another table, not noticing Amy click her fingers again and the woman going back to her very peeved off girlfriend. “Geez, what was all that about?” Willow said. Amy laughed. “What?” Willow asked.

“Duh, it was me doofus!” Amy replied casually. “Oh, uh, funny.” Willow replied, trying to sound as un-annoyed as she could.

“Hey Will, what do you say we have some fun?” Amy asked as she proceeded to magically change things round about her.

“What are you doing?!” Willow asked. “What?” Amy replied innocently. Willow shook her head in disbelief. “Amy, magic isn’t a toy you know, believe me, I learnt that the hard way.” Willow shouted as she walked away. Amy caught up with her as she was about to walk through the exit.

“What’s you’re problem Willow, I’m just having some fun. Try it, you might actually enjoy it.” She said sarcastically.

“NO!” Willow shouted. “I promised Tara I was gonna give up, and that’s what I’m gonna do” Amy laughed. “Let me get this straight.” Amy began, “you’re giving up the one thing that makes you remotely cool, for that dopey geek of yours?” She asked.

This got Willow really angry, and she back-handed Amy, who fell to the floor with a thud.

“Her name’s Tara!” She yelled as she turned around.

“Call me when you’ve grown up Amy!” She shouted as she made her way home.

Willow woke up to an empty bed. , she thought.

When she had arrived home the night before, Tara had been sleeping, so Willow didn’t tell her about Amy.

Willow got up and put her robe on and headed downstairs. She saw Tara making pancakes in the kitchen and embraced her from behind. “Morning beautiful”, she said as she kissed Tara’s ear.

Tara turned to face her lover, “morning honey,” she said as Willow kissed her. Willow sat on one of the breakfast table stools as Tara served her breakfast.

“Amy’s been phoning you all morning sweetie; she says she has something important to say to you, so I told her to come over later.” Tara said as she sat next to Willow. Willow nodded, wondering weather Amy was coming over to apologise or not.

Amy arrived two hours after Willow had her dinner, and was now sitting facing Willow in the living room, an uncomfortable silence between them. Amy finally decided to speak up, “listen Will, I’m sorry about last night. I was just feeling really weird, and I just wanted some fun. I shouldn’t have said the thing’s I did, especially about Tara, cuz I think she’s really nice. Will you let me make it up to you by taking you to the movies?”

Amy lied, hoping willow would believe her. Willow smiled, “sure Amy, that’d be great” she replied. Willow went upstairs to tell Tara where she and Amy were going, and then they headed out.

Willow and Amy walked towards the movie theatre in silence. On the way, Amy had decided to buy Willow a burger, to get her to cheer up a bit, and she decided that would be a good way to start conversation.

“So, did you like your burger?” Amy asked. Willow nodded, “yeah, it was like a meat party in my head.” She replied. Amy looked at her strangely, “what?” She asked. “Nothing”, Amy laughed.

Willow looked round about her, “is this the way to the movies Amy?” She asked, slightly worried. “Uh, no, but I just have to make one quick stop first” Amy replied. Willow nodded. They came towards a dead end and Amy pulled on Willow’s arm to make her walk with.

“Uh Amy, dead end” Willow said. “I know, this is the stop I need to make.” Amy replied. “Huh?” Willow asked as Amy pushed her and Willow through the wall. “What the hell?!” Willow shouted as she and Amy ended up in what appeared to be a very shady waiting room.

“What is this Amy?!” Willow asked angrily. “Relax; I’m doing you a favour.” Amy replied. Willow was about to yell at her again, but she suddenly found two very cold hands pin her against the wall. “Get off me!” She shouted as the warlock turned her around to face him. “Is this her Amy?” he asked. Amy nodded, “yeah Rack, this is her.”

“What do you want from me?” Willow asked. Rack laughed. “I don’t anything from you silly. I’m giving you something from me!” He said. Willow screamed as Rack surged energy into her. Amy smiled, she thought evilly.

Willow woke up the next morning with a throbbing head-ache. She had no idea how she had gotten home or what she’d done the night before, all she felt was a need for magic. She decided she needed a shower, because for some reason, she felt dirty.

She turned to face in their bed, and her lover was sleeping soundly. . Willow thought as she headed towards the bathroom. While she was in the shower, the memories of the previous night came back to her.

She and had gone on a magical rampage, casting spells on everything they had seen. And she had let that…thing touch her. She felt disgusted with herself, and she let her tears flow freely. When she came out of the shower, she couldn’t be bothered getting dressed, so she just put on her robe and lay on the bed. Tara came in a few minutes later and immediately lay down beside her lover and asked her what was wrong. “Nothing” Willow lied. “I’m just not feeling very well today”. Tara nodded,” well, you were pretty late coming home last night>” She said. Willow nodded. “Tara, would you lie down with me?” She asked. Tara smiled, and snuggled under the covers with her beloved.

Amy came round for Willow a while later, and willow stood out on the porch with her.

“Amy, I don’t know why we did what we did last night, we we’re not doing it again. I’m supposed to be giving up magic, what was I thinking?” She asked herself. “You mean you don’t remember?” Amy asked hopefully. Willow shook her head. “Do you?” She asked Amy. “Uh, no. No I don’t.” Amy smiled, she had come over expecting a fight with Willow, but now that she knew Willow didn’t remember that it was all Amy’s fault, Amy was ready to do the same thing again. “Come on, let’s go for a walk” Amy suggested. Willow nodded.

Amy told Willow a bunch of lies abut she thought they must’ve been dosed by a passing demon and Willow believed her. Amy knew that Rack would be in a different place tonight, and they walked round and round until Amy sensed in. Luckily, it was in an open area, so it was easier fro Amy to get Willow. “Amy! What are you doing! You brought us here?!” Amy laughed. “Willow, you idiot, I brought you last night as well!?” Before Willow could reply, she felt the familiar hands on her, pouring magic into her as she screamed. She and Amy got back on the street, and Willow was in her own little magical world. “So what do you want to do cutie?” She asked Amy. Amy smiled “Whatever you want” she replied.

Back at Buffy’s, Tara was getting increasingly worried .Willow had told her she was going for a quick walk, but she had bee gone for over three hour. She ran downstairs when she heard the front door open, but it was just Buffy coming home from patrol.

”Hey Tara, what’s up?” Buffy asked cheerfully. Tara suddenly threw herself in the slayer’s arms and burst into tears. “Oh Buffy,” she cried, “Its Willow, she’s missing.”

Buffy pulled Tara back and looked at her, “how long for?” She asked. “Three and a half hours” Tara replied tearfully. Buffy tried to make Tara feel better by saying “don’t worry I’m sure she just lost track of time, that’s all. C‘Mon, let’s go and find her” She said as she and Tara went to look for Willow.

Willow and Amy were walking along a dark alley when a large demon jumped out at them. They both laughed. “Look how ugly is”. Willow said as though she was drunk.

The demon growled. “Uh, Willow, maybe you shouldn’t make it mad” Amy suggested as she pulled Willow’s arm and the two of them began running away from the demon. When they turned the corner, Willow saw a parked car. “Open!” She shouted. “Get in”, she told Amy, as they both climbed inside. “Drive!” She yelled as the car sped forward. Willow steered the car without even touching the wheel, and she kept yelling behind her to the demon who was trying to catch them. “Will, maybe you should actually pay attention to the road!” Amy yelled as Willow drove faster. Willow ignored her, and the car ploughed into a brick wall.

“Willow” Tara yelled as she and Buffy walked along trying to catch sight of the red-head. Suddenly, the heard the sound of someone being punched a loud scream that sounded like Amy. They followed the direction of the scream, and saw a large demon pin Amy against the wall. Buffy lunged at the demon and began attacking it. Amy fell against the wall, and Tara ran over to her. “Are you okay?” Tara asked. Amy nodded, “I think so” she replied. “Good, where’s Willow?” Tara asked just as they heard a crackling noise behind them. Tara turned and saw Willow standing there, magic seeping from her, her eyes jet black. “Oh God!” Tara cried. Buffy walked over to them after killing though demon and

helped Amy up leaving Tara and Willow alone.

“What the hell have you done?!” Tara shouted as Willow walked over to her. Willow had never been so ashamed in her life. “Tara, baby, I swear, it was Amy! She took me to this place, and this guy poured magic into me. I tried to stop, but I couldn’t.” Willow sobbed as she fell to her knee’s in front of Tara, sobbing her heart out and Saying how sorry she was. “Please, please Tara, don’t leave me!” She begged during sobs. Tara started to cry as well, and kneeled beside Willow. “Darling, look at me.” Willow looked up and Tara continued. “Darling, you’re my world. I’m not leaving, I could never abandon you baby.

I’ll always find you remember, and I’m gonna take care of you, just like you took care of me. And I’ll find you again, my Willow, just like you found me.” She sobbed, as she and Willow hugged, each clinging to the other for dear life.

Back home, Willow was snuggled against Tara in bed, both of them were in their pyjamas after showering together. “How are you feeling sweetie?” Tara asked as she kissed Willow’s forehead. “Better,” Willow replied. “But that was the end Tara, no more spells, I’m finished. I could have died tonight and it was my entire fault.” Tara frowned, “no it wasn’t sweetie, and Amy was the one who took you there remember.” Tara said, trying to make her lover feel better. “Only because I brought her back.” Willow said sadly. Tara pulled Willow closer to her, “sshh sweetie, we’ll deal with Amy together. All you have to do now is get some sleep and let me take of you.”

T.B.C with “Older and far away” and “As you were”

Xander, Willow and Tara were sitting around a small table in the corner of the Magic Box and Anya was dusting some shelves beside them. It had been a month since Willow had done any magic, and Tara was extremely proud of her lover.

Tonight, Willow and Tara were having their “Spell Casters Anonymous” meeting, and Tara was teaching Willow how to do Tarot cards. Three weeks ago, Buffy had gone to give a stern talking to with Amy, but she had found the brunette witch out on the streets, trying extremely hard to give up magic herself. Buffy felt incredibly sorry for her, and Amy was now staying with Spike, who was doing his best to help her as well.

“Do you think we should set up lots of candles fro Buffy’s birthday tomorrow?” Anya asked “not if they’re those horrible slug ones you keep trying to unload.” Xander replied. Anya sighed, “I don’t know why people get so turned off by slug!” Anya moaned.

“Honey, slugs get turned off by slug” Xander reassured her. He suddenly looked up at Willow “oh, I wanted to talk to you about that” he said. “Slugs?” Willow said worriedly, Tara smirked and squeezed Willow’s hand. “No, the party, or Amy, at the party?” He asked hopefully. “Oh” she replied. “It’s just, Buffy really wants her there, she thinks it’ll be good for her”, he continued. “Oh, yeah, she should totally be there. We can help her too. It’ll be great” Willow said happily as Tara nodded her head in agreement.

The night of the party arrived quickly, and Buffy, Xander and Anya sat in the kitchen discussing Buffy’s blind date as Amy and Spike came through the back door.

“Hey, you made it!” Buffy said excitedly as she hugged Amy. “Hey” she replied back as cheerfully as she could. Upstairs, Willow was checking her outfit for the hundredth time. “Honey, you look beautiful.” Tara said as she cuddled up to Willow. “Not as beautiful as you baby” Willow replied before kissing Tara as they made their way down the stairs, where Buffy and Amy were standing chatting at the bottom. Once Buffy saw Willow and Tara, she made a stupid excuse and left the three of them to talk. “Hey Will, how

Are you?” Amy asked. “Good, I’m good. Goody Mc Good in fact.” Willow replied cheerfully. She and Tara quickly made their way into the kitchen as Amy headed for the buffet.

“She seems to be doing okay right?” Tara asked Buffy. Buffy nodded, “She’s definitely a lot better than when I found her, I’m glad you guys are speaking to her, she and Willow can help each other now too.” Buffy replied. Buffy’s date arrived, and the gang decided to move the party into the living room to give Buffy her gifts. She opened Willow and Tara’s first, and tried to hide her disappointment

“Uh, thanks guys, I’ve been meaning to get one of these…thingies for a while now” she lied. Tara laughed, and handed Buffy anther present, which was a peasant top Buffy had wanted for months.

“Thanks guys!” She squealed as she pulled Willow and Tara in for a bear hug.

When they had finished giving Buffy her presents, Dawn had suggested they have a slumber party, which everyone had agreed to. It was now three am, and they were all playing board games (minus Xander, Anya, Willow, and Tara).

All four of them were sitting in the dining room chatting, with Anya on Xanders knee, and Tara on Willow’s.

Morning came quickly, and Richard (Buffy’s unwanted date) said he had to leave for work. After informing the gang that he couldn’t get the door, open, they all had a go and

Found that they were trapped. “It must be magic” Amy said, “I can feel it”. Tara and Willow agreed with her. “I could try a spell that would get us out?” Tara offered, which was much welcomed by the rest of the scoobies.

After sever failed attempts, Tara realised that she couldn’t help. “I’ll do something!” Amy said. Willow jumped out of her chair and started shouting at her. “What, you can’t!!!” Willow yelled. “You’ve worked so hard, you can’t give up now!” willow was pleading with Amy. “Willow, it’s Rack, I can feel him.” Amy said. “Got that right sweet cheeks” Rack said as he appeared through the wall.

Tara cradled Willow safely behind her as Rack approached them. She tried every spell she could, but Rack just shrugged each one off before sending Tara flying across the room with a wave of his hands. “Tara!” Willow screamed as Racked put his arms around her neck. “I’ve missed you Strawberry!” He said sleazily. Willow did the only thing she could. She spat on him. Rack just stood there and let the spit dribble off his chin.

“Mistake number one Strawberry.” He said as he grabbed her hand and pulled her out

Through the wall with him. “You don’t mind if I borrow her, right guy’s?” He asked sarcastically as he and Willow left. “Nooo!!!” Tara shouted before slipping into

Unconsciousness.

Buffy arrived home to collect some more weapons after being out all night trying to find Willow. Tara had come back earlier in the morning after trying unsuccessfully

To find Rack’s lair. Tara hadn’t spoken a word since Willow had been taking, and the gang were extremely worried for her.

After Rack had left with Willow, he didn’t unlock the house for another two hours, giving the scoobies absolutely no idea where he was.

Tara had tried hundreds of different locator spells, but not one of them worked trying to find Rack. She had even tried to send a Tinkerbelle light to find Willow, but it exploded in her face. Amy felt tremendously guilty with around the gang. she told herself. Although the gang had said

Nothing, Amy knew they all hated her right now, especially Tara. After each minute of not finding Willow, Amy feared of what would happen to her at the hands of Tara, and she had even been warned by Dawn, by her saying, “If I were you, I’d be worried. Willow fought a hell god because she hurt Tara. If anything worse has happened to Willow, Tara’s gonna gut you.” Amy suddenly had an idea.

“Uh guys,” she said, “I think I know how to get Willow back.” They all looked at her eagerly, and Tara got out of her seat and stood in front of her. “How?” She asked hopefully. Amy continued, “Well, I used to be one of Rack’s customers to, I could go

Out and find him, while you guys wait outside, and I could get Willow.” The gang

Were unsure at first, but when Tara looked at them with tears in her eyes, they knew they had to do it. Buffy was in front as they were about to leave. She opened the front door, and found Riley, with his hand t knocking position. “You?” She asked shocked. “Hey” he replied.

“Riley, you’re here?” She asked, the rest of the gang remained quiet behind her.

“I know” he replied. Buffy looked at him with wide eyes, “why?” She asked.

Riley sighed, “There’s a demon on the loose, killing machine. I need you’re help to destroy it?” Riley said as he turned and walked away, expecting Buffy to follow him.

“No!” Buffy said. Riley stopped walking and looked at her. “No?” He questioned.

“Willow’s missing Riley” she explained. Riley’s face fell. “Missing, what do you mean?

How long for?” He asked worriedly. “A few hours, this warlock guy took her.

Before Riley could reply, a pretty brunette woman appeared behind him and asked “Is she gonna help us or not sweetie?” Riley sighed, and put his arm around her. “Guys, this is my wife.” “Wife?!” Buffy questioned. Riley nodded. Tara, who had kept quiet until now, finally spoke up by saying-“Buffy, with every god dam second you waste, Willow could die!” The gang looked at her in surprise, before following her as she stormed out.

“We can use my van” Riley offered. Buffy nodded, and they all climbed inside.

After driving around for over an hour waiting for Amy to feel something, they heard a loud thud come from a nearby alley. They all got out to inspect, and found Willow lying there clutching her stomach. “Willow!” Tara cried as she took her into her arms. Willow was covered in blood, and there was a large gash in her stomach that looked like she had been stabbed. “Willow, baby, thank god you’re ok!” Buffy helped Tara carry Willow into the van and sit her on Tara’s lap as they left.

When they arrived home, Tara took Willow upstairs to clean her up and Amy/ Spike and Xander/Anya left. Buffy was saying goodbye to Riley on the porch as Tara arrived downstairs after soothing Willow to sleep. “How is she?” Buffy asked worriedly. Tara frowned, and said “she hasn’t really spoken; I just wish we knew what he did to her.” Buffy nodded in understanding. “It’s just gonna take some time Tara” she reassured. Tara nodded, and headed back upstairs to her lover, who she found crying.

“Oh Willow” Tara said as she rushed to her lovers side, letting Willow sob onto her shoulder. “Sshh, baby let it all out” Tara said as she climbed under the blankets snuggling her lover. “Tara, the things he did to me” Willow sobbed. Tara held Willow tighter, as she planned how she would deal with Amy and Rack. she thought to herself.

~*~*~*~*~

The day of Xander and Anya’s wedding had arrived. The whole gang (minus Giles who had left for England) were gathered at Sunny-dale Parish Church, with Xander’s family and Anya’s demons. Tara and Buffy were helping Anya get ready, and Willow was helping Xander go over his vows. It had been a week since Willow had been captured, and she and Tara had been inseparable since. Tara had gone after Rack two days after he had taken Willow. She had used the same book Willow had taken when she went after Glory. She had told Amy what she was planning to do, and Amy only told the gang when Willow broke down in front of them. Buffy and Willow found Tara just in time. The blond witch had three broken ribs, a broken wrist, and a dislocated finger. She had done some serious damage to Rack though, and they had heard nothing of him since.

Buffy was doing Anya’s hair, with Anya sitting down in front of the mirror. Tara was sitting in the corner pouting, As soon as Anya saw this, she jumped out of her chair, knocking the seat and Buffy over. “Tara! What are you doing?! Why are you pouting on my special day?!” Anya asked worriedly. Tara sighed, “I miss Willow” she said unhappily. Buffy laughed, but stopped immediately when Anya gave her an evil stare.

“Sorry, it’s just, Willow’s only across the hall Tara.” Buffy said. Tara remained unhappy, it didn’t matter how close Willow was, she wasn’t with Tara, and that just wouldn’t do. Tara didn’t even hear Anya tell Buffy to go and get willow, or notice Buffy leave.

Willow was fixing Xander’s tie for the fifth time. She felt herself get all teary eyed as she looked at him. “You’re getting married.” She began, “my little Xander. “All growed up

He replied as they hugged. Buffy suddenly burst through the door. “Hey guys, sorry to interrupt, but there’s a very pouty Wiccan next door that needs a little Willow-love”. She said as she pulled Willow out. Willow laughed, she turned to Xander as she left and said “not long now! You ready for the long walk?” She asked excitedly. Xander nodded, “yeah just give me a sec, I need to work on my vows.” He replied. Willow nodded, “take

Your time, not like we can start the wedding without you!” she said as she left.

Tara and Anya were talking about what Anya should and shouldn’t say during her vows. Tara was in the middle of a sentence about “sex poodle” not being a good choice, when willow walked in. Tara completely ignored Anya, as she ran over and gave Willow the biggest tongue -kiss that even Anya had to look away in embarrassment. Buffy eventually stopped the two lovers, as she knew that their kissing could last all day. Tara and willow stopped kissing, but remained close, with Tara spooning Willow from behind and licking her ear and neck, while whispering sweet nothings in her ear. The two lovers were oblivious to Anya and Buffy, who was doing her best to reassure Anya that nothing was going to ruin her special day.

“Don’t worry Anya, Amy won’t come anywhere near here, and if she does, Tara will kick her no-good-witchy-wannabe-ass! Right Tara?” Buffy asked. Tara snapped out of her exploration of Willow’s neck at the mention of Amy’s name. “Oh yeah, she comes any where near my willow, and I’m not gonna hold back on the de-de ratting.” Tara said, as she pulled Willow closer to her. The gang had found out that Amy had been helping Rack capture willow. And after a serious threat from Tara, Amy left the group and returned to Rack.

The music began to play; Willow kissed her lover goodbye, and went to find Xander as Buffy, Tara and Anya got ready. Xander was waiting for willow wit a big cheesy grin on his face at the Alter. Willow took her place behind him as they waited for the bride.

The guests stood as Anya walked up the aisle, followed by Tara and Buffy. She took her place beside Xander, and the two of them linked hands as they said their vows.

The wedding went off without a hitch, and the reception was now in full swing. Willow and Tara (after having to dance with almost everyone else in the room) were finally dancing with each other. Tara pulled her lover close to her, and they rested their hands on each others shoulders. They both saw Xander and Anya dancing beside them, and Tara smiled. “That’ll be us soon darling” she said as she nibbled on Willow’s ear. Willow pulled back and looked at Tara, “you want us to get married?! She asked. Tara frowned,

And tilted her head down. “Well, I-if you d-don’t want to_” Willow interrupted her by kissing her soundly. “Tara,” she began, “you’re my world. You’re the person I wake up and go to sleep for. I was so stupid with the magic, and choosing you is the best decision I have ever made. I want to grow old with you, and I want you to be Mrs Tara Maclay Rosenberg.” Tara smiled, “And I really want to be Mrs Tara Maclay Rosenberg.” She said as she and Willow kissed, each thinking about the life they were going to spend together.

~*~*~*~*~*~

Willow was waiting patiently for her lover to come out of class. She knew Tara wasn’t expecting her, and she was going over her speech again. “Hey baby, uh, y’know how we talked about getting married, well, I got you a ring.” Willow sighed in frustration, and tried again. “Hey baby, here’s the ring that’s gonna make you my wife, please wear it!”

She stopped suddenly when she saw her lover come out of class. She walked towards Tara, the ring in her pocket, but stopped abruptly when she Tara briefly kiss another girl on the cheek. Willow watched the two girls chat intently, and then stormed away, very confused about what had just happened. Tara said bye to her friend Rachel, and turned to start walking to her next class. She stopped when she saw Willow. Her lover was walking away from her. Tara realised what Willow must’ve seen, and immediately followed her lover. Art class be damned!

Tara realised she must have gone a different way than willow, as she only caught up with her lover back at Buffy’s. “Willow wait!” Tara shouted as Willow was about to walk into their bedroom. Willow stopped, but she didn’t look at her lover. “Why did you skip class?” She asked. Tara didn’t answer; she simply took her lover’s hands and walked into the bedroom with her, as they sat facing each other on the bed. “Honey, Rachel is just a friend, I swear. Do you really believe that I could ever think something more of her, or anyone else for that matter?” Tara asked. Willow shook her head, “no, it’s just, seeing you two together kinda made me freak.” She replied. Tara smiled, and squeezed her lover’s hands. “Darling, we’re getting married. There’s never going to be anyone else for either of us. We are two halves of a whole, soul mates.” Willow suddenly remembered what was in her pocket. She took one of Tara’s hands and opened the box. Tara gasped when she saw the beautiful diamond ring. In the middle of it, there was a Topaz birth stone, which was Tara’s. “Tara” Willow began, “I love you more than anything else in the world. I would do anything for you, and I want to grow old with you. Will you marry me?” Tara nodded as Willow placed the ring on her finger. She started to cry, “Yes Willow! Yes I’ll marry you!” The two lovers kissed, and held each other as they cried.

Willow and Tara emerged from their bedroom three hours later. They walked downstairs together, where they found Buffy lying awake on the couch. “Hey buff! How ya feeling?”

Willow asked, a little too enthusiastically. Buffy had complained of a severe headache when she had come home from patrolling the night before.

When she had woken up, the headache was still there, and was joined by nausea and blurry vision. “Not so good.” Buffy replied. “You think you guys could take over patrolling tonight?” She asked hopefully. Tara nodded, “sure Buffy, and let us know if you need anything.” She said as she and Willow walked to the kitchen to make some lunch.

“I think we should tell her, it’d make her feel better.” Willow hinted. Tara sighed, “Honey, we went over this. Xander and Anya have only been married for two days, it wouldn’t be fair to announce our engagement now, besides, and it makes it all a little sexier.” Tara said as she leaned over and wrapped her arms around her lover, kissing her passionately. Tara had to take the ring off her finger, so that no-one would notice it. She had decided to attach it to her necklace, which was hidden under her blouse, as she had sworn to herself when willow had given it to her that she would never be without it.

Willow and Tara were walking hand in hand in the cemetery on their way home from patrol. “Hey there!” Spike shouted as he caught up with them both. “Hey Spike, what’s up?” Willow asked, “Nothing much, I just wanted to ask how Buffy was. She said she wasn’t feeling well last night.” Spike said worriedly. Tara frowned, “she said she wasn’t feeling any better today, but it’s probably just a virus or something.” She said trying to reassure him. Spike nodded, “right then ladies, night night.” He said as he walked back to his crypt. “Night Spike” Willow shouted after him.

Willow and Tara arrived home to a very distraught, crying slayer. “Buffy, what’s wrong?!” They asked as they ran over to her. Buffy threw herself into the two

Witches. “I’m going crazy!!” She sobbed, “Someone’s doing something to me. My mom was here earlier, she was in the room, I swear! What’s the matter with me?!” Willow hugged her friend as Tara stood up. “Where are you going baby?” Willow asked.

“It’s Amy. She’s doing this, I can feel it. She’s gonna pay!” Tara shouted as she stormed out. Willow tried to follow her, but she was pulled down by Buffy saying “don’t leave me!”

Tara knew that Amy would be staying with her dad, and when she knocked on the door,

It was him that answered it. “Hello Sir, is Amy home?” She asked as innocently as she could. Amy’s dad nodded, “She’s right upstairs dear” he said as he invited Tara in. Tara thanked him, then walked upstairs to find Amy. She knocked on her door and heard Amy say “dad, I told you, I don’t need any more snacks.” Tara smirked and barged in. When

Amy saw her, she tried to run past her. Tara stopped her with a wave of her hand that sent Amy flying across the room.

“You, I’ve had enough of you. You let us believe that you needed help. Then you take my world away and torture her” “That wasn’t me!” Amy shouted. “It was because of you. And what you’re doing to Buffy now is sick!” Amy laughed, “It’s pretty impressive isn’t it?” She said sarcastically. Tara didn’t answer, she simply walked over and pinned Amy to he wall. “I don’t like you Amy. I never have. You think its funny when people get hurt, and I don’t like that either. I’m gonna show you real pain Amy.” Tara said evilly, as she dug her nails into the skin under Amy’s eye.

This made the brunette witch scream. “You don’t need to make me feel good about

Hurting you now Amy, this is just the beginning.”

Willow had finally got Buffy to sleep, and was now running to Amy’s house. She barged in without knocking, and ran up the stairs, she thought to herself. When she walked into Amy’s room, she knew the sight would haunt her forever. Amy was tied up, with at least twelve large cuts all over her body. Tara was standing in front of her, deepening her cuts. “Tara! What the hell are you doing?”

She asked angrily. Tara turned around to look at her lover “I needed to teach her a lesson

Willow” She said simply. “You’re unbelievable, y’know that!” Willow said angrily. “What do you mean?” Tara asked.

Willow sighed. “You made me give up magic. Now look at you. You’re worse than I ever was Tara, you make me sick!” Willow shouted as she stormed out. Tara quickly untied Amy, who fell to the floor, and ran after her lover.

“Willow, I’m sorry! But I couldn’t let her get away with what she’s done.” Willow laughed, “Right. Y’know what Tara, you asked me to stop when you’re the one with the problem. I think you need to decide what’s more important to you Tara, because until you do, I could never marry you!” With that, Willow turned and walked away, leaving Tara crying on Amy’s porch.

T.B.C with a different (happier) version of “Entropy”.

When Tara arrived home, she saw Willow fast asleep on the couch in living room, with

Her pyjama’s on. Tara

Thought bitterly. She made her way upstairs when Dawn stopped her at the bottom.

“What the hell’s the matter with you Tara?! When Willow came home, I could hardly hear what she was saying she was crying that much. Why did you hurt her like that?!”

Tara could only shake her head in disbelief at herself.

“I really don’t know what came over me Dawnie. But I promise that I’ll make it right” she said honestly. “You’d better!” Dawn said angrily as she stormed up the stairs, followed by a tired, sad and guilty Tara.

When Willow woke up the next morning she didn’t know where she was. Then the memory of the night before came back to her, and so did her tears. She decided she would just go to her class early, and talk to Tara later. Tara had received a cold shoulder

From Dawn when she had gone downstairs, but, thankfully, Buffy was still speaking to her. “Where’s Willow?” Tara asked Buffy, who was feeling better, and was making pancakes. “She left for class, she was pretty upset Tara.” Buffy said. She had intended to give Tara an earful, but when she saw the blonde witch was in, she couldn’t bring

herself to do it. “I know Buffy, but I’m gonna make things better, I promise.” With that, Tara ran out of the house to make things right with her Willow.

Willow walked out of class unhappily; she was oblivious to the students around her.

She suddenly felt a tap on her shoulder, and was relived to see Tara, who she hadn’t seen since the night before. Willow thought. “Hey” Tara said. “Hey” Willow replied. Tara was unbelievably nervous, she knew she had to make things right. “Willow, can we go get a cup of coffee?” Tara asked hopefully. “Sure” Willow replied, as they walked to the Espresso Pump.

Tara bought them both coffees as they sat facing each other nervously. Tara made the first move and took Willow’s hands into her Own.

“Darling, I am so, so sorry! I don’t know what came over me. I know that it’s gonna take time for you to forgive me. But until then, I’m gonna make it up to you by giving up magic as well. You were right when you said that it’s not magic that makes us special. It’s the love we have for each other that counts, and that’s all I need.” Willow smiled and kissed her lover. When they pulled apart, Willow whispered into her lovers mouth, “I love you” before kissing her cheek. Tara smiled, “I love you sweetie. Does this mean the wedding’s back on?” She asked hopefully. Willow laughed, “Yes sweetie, the wedding’s still on” She said as they walked hand in hand out of the Espresso Pump.

Willow and Tara had decided to go for a long walk, and were approaching the Sunnydale Register Office. It was Willow who came up with the idea. “Honey,” She began as she made her and Tara stop walking outside the building. “I know we still have a lot to talk about. And it’s gonna take time. I mean, you can’t just take me for coffee and expect_”

“I know” Tara interrupted her sadly. Willow sighed. “There’s just a lot of stuff to work through. We have to learn if we can trust each other, if we can be together forever.” Tara

Nodded and Willow smiled. “And can we just skip it” Willow began, “can you just be marrying me now?” Tara’s face lit up, and she kissed her lover passionately, as the two of them ran inside the register office.

T.B.C with a different version of “Seeing Red.”

Willow was snuggled against her lover. She and Tara hadn’t had any sleep since they had returned from the Register Office the night before.

It had taken them over half an hour to prove to the Registrar that they were really in love, and not drunk. Willow thought excitedly. Tara noticed the smile on her wife’s face.

“What ya thinking about baby?” she asked. Willow turned to face her lover. “Just about how much I love you and how excited I am about spending the rest of my life with you.”

Willow replied lovingly. Tara smiled and kissed her wife. “We need to get proper rings instead of these stupid ones.” Willow said as they broke apart. Tara nodded, we can get them on Saturday” she replied.

” I need to go to the bathroom sweetie” willow said as she kissed her wife, “I’ll be right back.”

She added, as she bounced out of bed and threw on an old UCSD sweatshirt. As Willow came out of the bathroom, she heard the sound of a door opening; she turned around and saw that it was Dawn.

“Morning Will” Dawn said cheerfully. Willow smiled, “Morning Dawnie” she replied. Dawn was about to say something, but was interrupted by Tara coming through (with a sheet covering her naked body) and saying; “honey, do you really want to stand out there when we could be- Dawn!!!!”

Dawn smirked, “nice to see you too Tar- oh my god!!!! You’re wearing a wedding ring!!! Why are you wearing a wedding ring?!”

Dawn asked excitedly. Tara blushed, “uh, that’s my cue to go put some clothes on>” She said as she turned to walk into the bedroom, but was stopped by Dawn pulling on her arm.

“Oh no missy! Not until you wearing one and Willow’s no- oh my God!!! You’ve got one too! When did you guys get married?”

She asked. Willow looked at her nervously, “last night, we went to the register office” she said. Dawn suddenly broke into a huge grin as she threw herself at the two newlyweds, pulling them into a huge bear-hug.

“Oh my god! I love you guys.”

She said happily. Willow and Tara smiled at each other.

“We love you to Dawnie” Tara said as they all broke apart. Dawn suddenly started running towards the stairs.

“Where are you going?” Willow shouted after her. Dawn turned around and looked at her.

“To tell Buffy of course!” Willow laughed, and followed Tara into the bedroom.

Buffy and Dawn were sitting waiting for Willow and Tara as they heard them come downstairs, hand in hand.

Buffy hugged the two witches happily, and sat back down. “So, married huh? When did all this happen?”

She asked excitedly. “Last night” Willow replied. Buffy smiled as she saw the way Willow and Tara looked at each other.

So who’s idea was this then?” Buffy asked. “Willow’s” Tara replied as she leant forward and kissed her new wife.

“So Buff, what’s the slayage update?” Willow asked as she and Tara broke apart.

“Not so good. Giles called this morning to say that this coven in England had come to see him to warn him about Amy. Looks like she’s been dealing in some serious magic’s.

“No doubt because of Rack” Willow said unhappily. Tara squeezed her hand as Buffy continued.

“Giles says that we should stay close together, in-case she decides to come after us.” Willow and Tara nodded, as Buffy picked up the phone to call Xander and Anya.

Willow and Tara had decided to go upstairs to start planning what they would do if Amy came after them.

“Honey. Let me do it, please, she’s scared of me.” Tara pleaded, as they argued over who would deal with Amy.

“No, Tara, you need to stay away from magic right now. I think the best ting we can do is let Buffy deal with her.”

Willow said. Tara nodded in agreement as Willow began to speak again.

“In the meantime, I think we should be planning our wedding party.” Tara smiled, and sat down beside Willow as she opened her lap-top.

“Oh, and we’ll need to tell my parents.” She added. Tara jumped off the bed suddenly, and stared at Willow.

“No honey, they hate me. They think I turned you into a lesbian that’s not gonna give them any grandchildren.” She shouted. Willow immediately rushed over and hugged her wife.

“Honey” she began as she kissed Tara’s neck, “they’re just gonna have to accept that

I don’t come alone anymore.

I’m Willow Maclay Rosenberg now. And if they can’t handle that, it’s their problem, not ours.” Tara smiled and kissed Willow.

“Tara come on!” Willow said annoyed, as she dragged Tara up the path towards her parent’s house.

“No, no Willow I can’t!” Tara cried back. Willow pulled her wife close to her. “Yes you can, if they start to get weird, we’ll leave, I promise.”

Willow said, as Tara leaned forward and kissed her lover. Willow knocked on the door and her father answered.

“Hello Willow, Tara.” He said pleasantly, “come in.” Willow smiled, “thanks dad, where’s mom.

“In the kitchen, making dinner.” He replied as they walked into the living room, unaware that Amy was watching them from outside.

After dinner, Willow told her parents about the wedding. They were both shocked at first, but as they realised how happy Tara made their daughter, they gave their blessing.

“See, that wasn’t so bad now, was it?” Willow asked as she and Tara arrived back at Buffy’s. Tara shook her head, “nah, I think they actually like me now.”

She said happily. “Who couldn’t?” Willow said as they kissed.

The next day, Willow decided she would visit her parents. When she arrived, her mother answered the door.

“Willow, what brings you here again?” She asked as she invited her daughter inside. “Oh, I was just in the neighbourhood and decided to drop in”

Willow replied as she sat on the couch. “Where’s dad?” She asked her mother. “At work” Shelia replied.

“Oh Willow, I almost forgot! You remember that Amy girl who lived across the street?” Willow nodded nervously.

“Well, I spoke to her dad today and she‘s come home, you remember how she ran away.” Willow smiled.

“That’s, uh, great mom, I’ll have to go and see her.” She lied. Shelia nodded. “Well, I just get some more tea dear.

“ She said as she stood up. Willow suddenly heard a loud bang; she looked at the window and saw a large bullet hole through it.

She looked over and saw her mom on the floor. “Mom!” Willow screamed as she knelt beside her.

“Mom wake up!!!” Her mom didn’t move, and Willow felt no pulse.

“Amy!” Willow said to herself as her eyes turned black and red.

T.B.C with a different version of “Villains”

Willow was tired. She had been walking around Sunnydale for three hours now. After realizing her mom was dead, she had initially planned on seeking revenge on Amy. She had felt the magic surge within her, and then she had thought of Tara. Tara, who she loved so much.

Tara would never forgive her if she succumb to the magic, after all, they had planned to give up. So Willow had decided to wait. She left her mother lying their and walked out.

Three hours later, and she was still walking. She wondered if anyone had found her mother, her dad perhaps, maybe Tara and the gang. She knew they would be worried about where she was, but she couldn’t go back, so she just kept walking in circles. “Willow!!” She heard someone yell behind her. “Willow please stop!!!” She didn’t turn around, she didn’t have to, she knew who it was, it was Tara. Willow turned around just as her lover scooped her into her arms and sobbed into her shoulder. “Oh baby, I know about your mom. You’re dad came to the magic box to find you, he’s with the police just now.” Tara cried. Willow held onto her lover for dear life. “Oh Tara, it was Amy, I saw her!” She sobbed. Tara kissed her cheek, “sshh baby, she won’t get away with it, I promise. We’ll catch her and she’ll go to jail. I promise.”

Tara and Willow walked back to Buffy’s hand in hand. When they walked in, the entire Scooby gang hugged them both. “Oh Willow, I’m so sorry!” Buffy said as she began to cry. Willow pulled out of the hug and looked at her best friend. “Me too” she said simply. “Willow, I don’t know what to say” Xander began, “I mean, she was more like a mother to me than my own. Whoever did this is gonna pay, I promise.” Willow looked straight at him “It was Amy.” She said simply. “What??!!” Buffy shouted. “How could it have been Amy?” “She had a gun” Willow said as she began to cry again. Tara wrapped her arms around her soul mate, “C’mon sweetie, I think you need some sleep, I’ll take you upstairs” Tara said as she took her lovers hand and led her upstairs, giving a knowing look to Buffy. Once Willow was out of sight, Buffy turned to Xander and Anya and said “let’s go find Rat-girl.” They both nodded, and follow her out, weapons in tow.

Amy was standing talking to Rack, “I did it, Willow’s totally gonna pop, she’ll defiantly come back now. She be wanting revenge on the person who did it, And she doesn’t know it was me, so I played my part. Give me my fix.” Amy demanded. Rack nodded. He was about to surge the power into Amy when he heard a loud bang, like a gunshot, and saw Amy fall to the floor dead in front of him. He looked up and smiled at who he saw “hey strawberry” he said sleazily. “What’s up?” Willow walked in front of him, letting the gun fall to the floor. “I need a favour” she replied.

“What kind of favour?” Rack asked Willow. “Tell me how Amy did it. I know you didn’t give her the gun. So who did?” Willow asked him angrily. Rack sighed, “Damn, I thought you’d come for a fix!” He shouted. “Willow pushed her body against his and cupped his chin, “I will, later. Now tell me where Amy got the gun!” “I’m not entirely sure. She said she was gonna get it from this friend of hers, Faith. That’s all I know strawberry.” He said. He looked up, but Willow was gone, the door closing behind her.

Rack laughed to himself, “See you soon strawberry.”

Tara headed upstairs to check on Willow. “How are you sweetie?” She asked as she walked in. She walked to the bed and put her hand on Willow’s back, only to find that it was a pillow. “Oh god!!” Tara cried as she ran out of the room. “Buffy! Buffy I need you now!!” She said running down the stairs. “What?! What is it Tara?!” Buffy, Dawn Xander and Anya asked her at once. “Buffy we have to do something!” Tara shouted. “Tara, I told you. We went out looking for Amy, but she was gone. We went to her dad’s and he said he hasn’t seen her since last night. He’s really worried.” Buffy said, trying to calm whatever was wrong with Tara. “Buffy, Willow’s gone. I went to check on her and she’s gone!” Buffy pulled Tara into and hug, and the blonde let her tears fall freely. “Shh, don’t worry Tara, she’s probably gone to see her dad, he’s still talking to the police at the hospital, c’mon, we’ll go look. Anya, could you stay here with Dawn incase willow comes back. “Sure” the ex-demon replied. Tara nodded, and they headed out, Buffy gave a worried look that did not go unnoticed to Xander.

Willow was on her way to L.A. She’d done a locater spell, by casting on her mother’s blood, which was still on her hands. It was now the middle of the night, and she knew the gang would be worried about her, but she didn’t care. She also knew that Faith was staying with Angel and Cordelia, and she knew she’d have to tackle them as well to get to the bitch that helped her mother. That thought alone made her more determined. She pulled the car up in front of the hotel and walked to the front door. She took a moment to collect herself, and let her eyes return to normal.

She saw Angel, Cordelia, Fred and Gunn sitting around a large table. “Willow, what are you doing here?” Angel asked as she approached them. “Who’s this cutie?” Gunn asked. “No-one for you to get excited about!” Fred said angrily as she elbowed him. “Angel, where’s Faith?” She asked. “Faith, she got out of prison last week. Willow, it’s okay, Buffy knows she’s been staying with us.” Cordelia replied. Willow smiled. “Angel, is it okay if I go talk to her?” She asked, trying to convince them. Angel looked at her suspiciously, “sure, it’s the third room to your left.” Willow nodded, “thanks, I won’t be long.” She said as she walked up the stairs.

“What’s up with her?” Cordelia asked. Angel shook his head. “I’m not sure, Buffy told me she’s been trying to fight a magical addiction, maybe she just wants some help from Faith.” He replied. The phone rang and Fred walked over and answered it. “Angel investigations, we help the- oh, Angel, yeah, he’s right her, hold on.” She said as Angel walked over to the phone. “Hello, Buffy what’s-? Slow down, hold on I, Willow’s what, oh god, look, she’s here now Buffy, don’t worry, I’ll call you back once I go get her.”

Angel said as he hung up and ran to Faiths room. “Willow!” He said as he burst through the door. He saw Faiths body on the floor. Her eyes were open, and their wasn’t a mark on her. “Faith!” He said as he ran and knelt down beside her. She wasn’t breathing. “Faith, c’mon, wake up!” He looked up and saw the window open. “Willow, what have you done?” He said as he put his vamp face on and jumped out to find her.

Willow was on her way back to Sunnydale. She knew Angel had been following, and had to do a clouding spell to get him off her sent.

She was going to Rack’s for a fix. She knew that she shouldn’t, but she just didn’t care anymore. she thought bitterly.

She was well aware the gang would be worried about her, but she couldn’t go back, not after what she’d done. Instead, she had decided to take over a train and increase its speed, and was now almost near Sunnydale. She kept replaying Faiths last words in her head, “B’s never gonna forgive you red!” Willow knew that was true, neither would Tara, Xander, Dawn, and even Anya.

So she had decided that she wasn’t going to go back. She would take care of herself from now on, no matter how much it hurt.

She would let the one person she knew wouldn’t judge her take care of her. She would let Rack take care of her.

Angel had arrived back at the hotel after unsuccessfully trying to find Willow. He told the gang, and decided to phone Buffy.

It was Tara that answered. “Tara, hi, It’s Angel, I have news about Willow, is Buffy there?”

There was silence on the other end. “Willow?” Tara asked hopefully. Her voice was low and hoarse, and Angel knew that was down to the hours of crying she had done.

“Tara, I really think I should talk to Buffy first” he replied. “Buffy’s not here, she’s out looking with Xander. Tell me what it is!” She demanded.”

“Tara, I really think Buffy should here this fir...” “She’s my wife! If any goddamn person should here it first it’s me!” Tara shouted at him

. “I’m sorry Tara, you’re right.” Angel apologised.

“Willow came here looking for Faith. She went upstairs to her room, and she-” Angel took a deep breath; he wasn’t sure how Tara was going to react. “What?! She what Angel?!” she demanded. Tara was getting impatient.

They had searched everywhere they could think of for Willow.

Tara had done countless locater spells, and Buffy only sent her home after she saw how tired the blond witch was.

“She killed Faith Tara, I’m so sorry.” Angel replied. As Angel spoke those words, Tara’s world crumbled.

Her wife, her soul-mate, her everything was a murderer. Her Willow was gone, and she knew she would have to bring her back.

“Where is she now Angel?” She asked. Angel sighed, “I don’t know. I lost her at the train station. She’s probably on her way home now.”

He replied. “Right, ok, I’ll call Buffy thanks Angel.” “No problem” he replied. “And Tara.” He added just before they hung up.

“Yeah?” She asked. “You will get her back.” Tara smiled all the smile she could manage right now. “Thanks Angel, I know I will, I have to.” She said before hanging up and calling Buffy.

Willow had arrived back in Sunnydale. She was in Rack’s waiting room. She knew that if he knew she were here, he would send all his other clients out.

But Willow needed time to think. So she waited for him to come out. She wondered if Amy was still in the room. She didn’t know if she could stay in there if she was.

She didn’t think she had the strength to stand next to the human being she had murdered.

She was snapped out of her thoughts by Rack coming into the waiting room. Willow stood up and walked to him.

“Hey, I was next!” An angry client shouted. “Leave!” Rack told him. “But-” “Now! All of you!”

The waiting room was soon empty. “So strawberry, you take care of that Faith girl?” Willow nodded.

“So, what do we do now?” Rack asked sarcastically, excited at the thought of tasting willow’s power.

Rack walked forward and put his hand on Willow’s chest. “Hold still now, it’s not that bad.” He moved closer so that his lips were almost

touching hers.

“I just want to taste you.” Willow realised at that moment what was really happening. He was raping her, magically.

“No!” She shouted, pushing him away. She picked up the nearest object to her, which happened to be a sword, and plunged it into Rack, who fell to the floor. “Oh god!” Willow cried.

“What am I?!” She shouted. She dropped the sword, and ran out. She knew where she was going. She knew how this was all going to end.

Buffy, Tara, Xander and Anya had gone out looking together after Angel’s phone call. They had decided to split up, Xander and Anya decided to check all of Willow’s favourite childhood spots, and Buffy and Tara were checking all the possible places they thought were magically related.

Buffy and Tara were walking towards King’s Man Bluff. Tara knew three was a temple there that was suppose to give answers to people that were lost.

They were cliffs near the temple, and Buffy was watching them, unknown to Tara, just incase Willow decided to do anything stupid.

Tara looked all around the desert, and started to cry. Buffy put her arms around her friend.

she thought. Buffy opened her eyes and physically recoiled at the sight she saw.

There, up on the cliffs was Willow. Ready to jump. Ready to end her life. “Willow!” Buffy shouted, letting go of Tara and running towards the cliffs, with Tara not far behind. They ran around the back and stopped a few feet away from Willow.

“Willow” Buffy began as she waked forward.

She was stopped by Tara’s hand in front of her. Buffy took the hint and stepped back to allow Tara to talk to her wife.

“Baby.” Tara began as she walked closer to Willow. “Baby, listen, I know what you’ve done, and I forgive you. We all do. Don’t do this. Don’t leave me like this.” Willow turned around and faced her lover. “You know what I’ve done?” She asked.

Tara nodded. “Oh, so you know that I murdered three people then?” She asked sarcastically. Tara frowned. Willow nodded, “didn’t think so” she said as she turned towards the edge.

“Willow no!” Tara shouted, stopping her lover by taking her hand. “That wasn’t you! The Willow I know could never do that.!”

She shouted. “How do you know?” Willow asked, not knowing what the answer would be. Tara looked straight at her.

“The day after we got Miss Kitty, you cried because you saw a dead cat lying on the road, and you were to embarrassed to tell everyone else.

Someone that is like that is not a murderer. You were grieving, you still are. But that’s ok because I’m gonna help you now. We all are.

But if you walk off that cliff then I’m gonna walk off their right after you.” She said. Willow began to cry.

“Tara, I thought you never forgive me!” She said as she fell to her knees, sobbing histerically.

Tara wrapped her arms around her lover and rocked her gently. “I love you. I will always love you, no matter what.” She whispered in her lover’s ear, knowing it was all over.

Willow and Tara were still huddled together on the cliff. Willow had stopped crying few minutes ago, but was refusing to let go of her wife.

“Willow, Willow are you ok?” Tara asked worriedly. Willow nodded and sniffed in Tara’s shoulder. Tara rubbed her back. “Baby, you wanna go home?” She asked.

Willow pulled back suddenly. “What?!” Tara, I can’t go back. I can’t face them, the things I did, Faith, Amy. They must hate me!” Willow cried as she fell into Tara’s arms sobbing again. Tara pushed her back roughly.

“Shut up! I’ve told you that wasn’t you! No-body hates you, No-one! I know you willow, we all know you, and you are NOT a murderer. Don’t you dare think that for one second. Now I’m gonna take you home, and we’re all gonna take care of you, because we love you. Because I love you. Because we’re gonna be happy together. I won’t have it any other way.”

Willow started to cry again. The only difference being, that they were tears of joy. She kissed her wife soundly on the mouth. “I love you Tara. I don’t know what I would do without you.”

Tara stood and helped her wife up. “Can you stand sweetie?” She asked Willow. Willow nodded, and stood, leaning on her wife, not for support, but for comfort. “How do you know they’ll forgive me?” She asked Tara worriedly. Tara smiled a bitter smile. “I just know.”

They walked together off the cliff, hand in hand. Willow was too nervous to speak.

Nervous about seeing the gang again. Nervous about having to tell Tara exactly what happened. Nervous about having to give Angel an explanation, but nervous most of all about how she was going to cope. She knew she would never touch magic again; she wouldn’t let herself, but what about Tara. Tara was bound to start practising again sometime, it was in her blood, and Willow didn’t have the right to stop her. So what was she going to do? How was she ever going to go into the Magic shop again? How was she going to face Giles? How was she going to face her dad, or Amy’s dad? How was she going to cope without a mother?

All these questions swirled round her head until she realised they were back at Buffy’s.

Tara looked at her, as if seeking permission to open the door. Willow nodded, and they walked in together.

Buffy, Xander, Anya and Dawn were in the kitchen. When they saw Willow and Tara walk in, they froze. It was only when they saw Willow’s hair, that they knew it was really her. Xander was the first to get to the two witches, pulling them both into a giant bear hug, and trying not to let his tears show. Buffy made it there next, followed by Anya, and then Dawn.

“I’m so glad you’re ok!” Xander said, burying his face deeper into Willow’s shoulder.

Buffy nodded, “me too, don’t worry Willow, everything’s gonna be ok now, I promise.”

Willow smiled and felt tears come to her eyes again. All the questions that were in her head earlier were now answered. She would cope with the love and support of her family. The people she loved and trusted more than any other. The people she would die for, and, who in turn would gladly die for her. She hugged them closer to her, knowing that everything really was going to be alright.

Tara was sitting downstairs watching a movie with Buffy. Willow was meant to join them, but said she needed time with her dad. Tara had lost the plot of the film they were watching half an hour ago, she was too busy thinking about her plans for her and Willow.

She was nervous about what Willow would say to the idea, so she had decided to confide in Buffy first. Only now she was too nervous to tell Buffy. She knew the gang were still a little uncomfortable with Willow, and Tara knew it would take time for things to completely get back to the way they were before.

But she wanted her idea to happen. She had dreamed of it since she was little, even though she always knew it would be with a girl.

And now she had found her girl, her soul-mate, her life partner, her Willow. And she wanted it to happen so much.

It would be better than how they had done it the first time. She could spend time planning it with Anya, she could have the perfect dress, and they could be watched by their family.

She knew that even if it didn’t happen, they had the perfect relationship already, but her mother had always talked about wanting to see her little girl walk down the aisle. And Tara was going to give her mother that wish. She knew now was the time to bring it up. And she knew that if things got really bad again with Willow and the magic, they could always visit the coven Giles had told them about.

She turned to Buffy, and took a deep breath. “Buffy, you don’t think it’s weird that Willow and I are married do you?” She asked .Buffy turned to her, “what?! No, of course not! You and Willow are perfect for each other. Who cares if you’re both girls?!”

“Exactly!” Tare agreed, “and you think that Willow is doing better now right?” Buffy hesitated, “well Tara, I don’t think she’s recovered yet, I mean, she’s still got the whole grieving process to go through, you and I both know what that’s like, and we both know it’s not going to be easy for her. She’s got so much guilt as well, more than any human should have to carry around. But I know she’s gonna come through with you by her side. She’s gonna fight her addiction because of you, she has the will to carry on because of you, and I love you for that Tara, we all do.

Tara leaned forward and hugged her friend. Pulling back, she saw the tears in Buffy’s eyes, and felt them form in her own.

“Buffy, do you think I should ask Willow to marry me?” Buffy looked at her strangely. “Huh? You guys are already married.” She took a moment and looked at Tara again, “right?”

Tara laughed, “Yes Buffy, we are. But it wasn’t the way I wanted it. I mean, don’t get me wrong. I love Willow more than anything, and having her as my wife is amazing. Being able to say that’s she’s mine, and knowing that we’re going to be together forever, it’s amazing. But I want to do it the proper way. With guests, and dresses, and a cake, and a big party. And I think Willow wants that to.”

She paused, thinking about all the times after they had first declared their love for each other, when they would just sit together planning their future.

“I know that now might not be the right time, but it’s what I want. I want to make it one hundred percent official that I’m her wife. I want to see her eyes as she walks down the aisle, knowing that it’s the only time she’s ever gonna do it. Knowing that she’s going to be mine for ever. Knowing that she’s never gonna be alone. What do you think?”

“I think you should do it Tara.” Buffy replied honestly. “It seems like it’s what you both want, and you know what a perfect maid of honour I would be.” She said, winking at tare.

“I know that it wouldn’t be able to happen for a while, but I think you should mention it to her. Tell her how you feel. I know she’ll agree, but just be prepared to wait a while, okay?” She asked. Tara nodded, “Don’t worry Buffy; I’d wait forever for her.

They both looked up as they heard the front door open. Tara smiled as she saw Willow walk towards her. “Hey you” she said as she stood and kissed her love.

“How’s your dad?” Buffy asked. Willow frowned “he’s coping, I don’t know how but he is. As soon as we get the funeral over with, it’ll be easier, right?” She asked Tara.

Tara smiled and pulled her lover in for a hug, “of course it will. It’ll take time, but you’ll heal. The pain will get easier to cope with, and the guilt will get easier to live with.”

Willow pulled back and looked at her wife. “And if it doesn’t?” Tara smiled slightly, “that’s not an option.” Willow leaned in and kissed Tara.

“Honey,” Tara said as the kiss ended, Buffy took the hint that they needed to be alone, and left the room. “Yeah” Willow replied. “Tara took her lover’s hand and they both sat on the couch facing each other.

Tara took both of Willow’s hands in her own. “Sweetie, I know that there’s a lot to get through, and it won’t be easy, but-“ Tara was silenced by Willow’s finger on her lips.

“Actually Tara, I’ve been doing a lot of thinking too. I’ve thinking about mom, and all the things she’ll never get to do. All the time she wasted doing stupid things. I don’t wanna make that mistake. I want to live every moment with you to the fullest. Starting right now.”

Tara smiled. “Right now?” She asked. Willow nodded and smiled. “Good,” Tara said, “cause there’s something I need to ask you.”

Tara and Willow walked into their bedroom and sat on their bed. Tara took both of Willow’s hands and faced her lover.

“Willow, I’ve got something to ask you, and I’ve been thinking of it for a while now. I was wondering if maybe you’d like to have a wedding.”

“A wedding?” Willow asked. “But we’re already married.”

Tara smiled “I know honey, but don’t you want to make it official. With cake, presents and guests.”

Willow walked to the window and looked out. “I guess we could. If it’s what you really want, when?” She asked as she faced Tara.

Tara was surprised at Willow’s lack of interest, but said nothing. “Well, we can do it when ever you want. We can do it now, or wait a while, it’s up to you.”

Willow nodded, and headed for the door. She was stopped by Tara’s arm on her shoulder.

“Where are you going?” Tara asked.

“I uh, I need to go somewhere for a while, to think.” Willow saw the sadness on her lover’s face, and it ripped her apart, but she couldn’t tell Tara what was happening, not now, not after everything that had happened.

Tara nodded, unsure of what to say to her lover. “Where will you go?” She asked. Willow shrugged. I don’t know, probably my dad’s, maybe Xander’s. I’ll call when I get there, ok?

“Ok, be careful.” Tara said as she leaned forward and kissed Willow. She didn’t understand why Willow wasn’t interested; she understood that she was upset about

Her mom, but she expected her to be a little bit excited.

~*~*~*~*~

Willow stumbled along the road. She was sweating, and she thought she was going to be sick again. Blood was pouring from her nose, and she fell to her knees. She knew she should tell Tara about the with-drawls, but she knew there was no way to prevent them, so she didn’t want to worry her.

They had happened every night since Tara had saved her on the cliff. The shaking and sweating, the nose bleeds, the vomiting, and the coughing up blood. She thought they would have stopped after a couple of days, but, ten days later, they still came.

She didn’t understand what was happening, and why it was so bad. It had never been like this before. It had gotten so bad that she could hardly breathe sometimes. She knew she needed help; she was just too afraid to ask for it.

She couldn’t understand why Tara had brought up the idea of a wedding. She thought things were fine the way they were. They were married; she thought that was all that mattered. Obviously Tara didn’t.

She hadn’t meant to so such disinterest when Tara mentioned it, she just had other things to worry about. More important things, things she was sure were going to eventually kill her.

She had been walking for two hours now, she knew Tara would be concerned that she didn’t call, and yet she was scared to go home. Going home meant more lying , more pain, more vomit, and more blood.

She felt her legs start to work again and stood up. She felt a little better. The pain was ending, and the bleeding had stopped. This was how it went; pain for a few hours, then nothing, it would all stop at once. Just as quickly as it came.

She started to walk home. She thought it would be easier to talk about Tara’s idea now that she was feeling better.

As she got to the bottom of the stairs, she felt the familiar feeling. < No, not now, how can it be back so quickly!> She thought, as she fell to her knees once more, letting the pain take over her.

She clutched her stomach, biting her lip to stop herself screaming. She couldn’t let Tara

See her like this. A pathetic failure who can’t control her own body. Her head was pounding, but she managed to crawl to the couch and lie down.

Tara had thought she had heard Willow come in, and walked downstairs to greet her lover. She had been worried when Willow hadn’t called, but was relieved her lover was home safely.

As she walked to the living room, she physically recoiled at the sight she saw. There, on the couch, was Willow. Shaking, crying, bleeding, sweating, and muttering to herself incoherently.

“Willow!” She said as she knelt beside her lover. Willow opened her eyes, and Tara saw that they were jet back. “Willow, what’s happening?” She gently asked.

“I don’t know Tara?! Her lover sobbed. Tara pulled Willow to her and hugged her. “How long has this been happening?” Tara asked. “Since that day on the cliff.” Willow replied.

Tara nodded, “has it always been this bad?” She asked. Willow nodded. “I’m gonna go call Giles, will you be okay for five minutes?” Willow nodded, and Tara headed to the kitchen.

“Okay,” Tara began, as she entered the living room, “Giles asked me to call back, he says he knows what’s causing this, but he says not to worry too much.”

She sat on the couch, pulled Willow into her arms and settled a blanket over them both.

“I’m gonna be ok?” Willow asked nervously.

“Of course, you really think I would let anything happen to you.” Her lover lied.

Willow snuggled closer to Tara.

“You’re lying.” Willow said simply. Tara sighed. “It’s not good sweetie. We thought that if you gave up magic, things would be easier, we were wrong Willow.”

“So what’s happening?” Willow asked. She was scared. Not for herself. She could handle dying. What she couldn’t handle was the thought of leaving Tara alone.

“Well, he says the magic’s a part of you now. It’s inside you, and it’s not gonna go away sweetie, you gave a part of yourself to Rack in exchange for a part of him. We can’t change that. There’s evil inside you, things you can’t control.”

“So what do we do?” Willow asked. “There’s a place” Tara began. “A place that helps people with magical problems. You go there and there’s women that help you, and teach you all about light magic, and the laws of nature.”

“So, we go there and everything will be ok right?” Willow asked hopefully. Tara didn’t answer. “Tara?” Willow questioned.

“Yes, you go there and you’ll be ok. But there’s a problem, it’s in England, so…..”

“So?” Willow questioned.

“I’m not allowed to go with you Willow, I’m not even allowed to visit.”

“How long would I have to go for?” Willow asked nervously. She didn’t know if she could leave Tara, even if it was to help herself get better.

“Two months, Giles said you’d have to go for a minimum of two moths.”

“Do I have to go?” Willow asked. Knowing what the answer was.

“If you want to get better, yes, if you want things to stay as bad as this, no.”

“What are we gonna do?” Willow asked.

“Honey, as hard as it’s gonna be, I rather be away from you for two moths and have you healthy, than have you here all the time suffering.”

Willow nodded, “when do I have to leave?”

Tara sighed, “three days from now.” She felt tears come to her eyes, she didn’t know how she was going to cope without Willow, but right now she didn’t want her lover to see her cry.

“I’m gonna go call Giles back, tell him you’ve decided to go.” She said as she headed up the stairs.

“So, this is it uh?” Tara said sadly. Her and Willow were the only ones left at the airport, their friends had decided to leave after saying their goodbyes to Willow.

“I guess so.” Willow replied.

She leaned forward and pressed her forehead against Tara’s.

“It’s weird, my favourite thing is kissing you, but I don’t wanna kiss you now, because that means that I…”

“I know. When we kiss, you have to leave.” Tara replied.

“I don’t wanna go baby. I don’t wanna leave you.” Willow said as tears ran down her cheeks.

“You don’t have to.” Tara said.

“What do you mean”? Willow asked.

“I’ll come with you to England.” Tara said, not thinking trough what she was saying.

“You can’t, they said I had to go alone.” Willow said sadly.

Tara sighed, “It’s not fair. We shouldn’t be separated, we love each other.”

Willow shook her head. Her mind was made up.

“no, we shouldn’t be separated, and we’re not gonna be. I’m staying Tara. I don’t want a bunch of strangers telling me how to respect magic; I want you to teach me. I want you to be the one who helps me.”

Tara smiled, “are you sure baby?” She asked.

Willow nodded and kissed her lover.

This kiss was full of happiness and promises. The bad times were over. They still had a lot to deal with, but they both knew they could get through it together. They could get through anything together.

The End!

This is one emotional rollercoaster of a story. It's loaded with ups and downs like there's no tomorrow.

I found it interesting that you made Amy the villain. I never really formed an opinion on her...

Willow: Hey Buff. One more thing. Buffy: Yeah? Willow: I’m gay. Buffy: Okay, Will. Xander owes me ten bucks.
