Disclaimer: I am only borrowing those characters and put them in stories to entertain everyone as Joss Whedon should have! *grin* Anyway, got no money but addiction to be quenched. Please don’t sue me. At least I am giving you the credit for Willow and Tara, Joss. Gotta shut up and write!

Feedback: Please do! It’s my first fanfic and will devote all my spare time doing this.

It's PG-13 for now and I will let you know when it's NC-!7

Chapter 1

Feeling the body pressing against my body. Arms already encircled around me, hands gently caressing my back but seem as if we are moving around. I couldn’t feel the solidity of ground beneath my feet. Nevertheless, I felt nothing but soothingly complete.

Beep! Beep! Beep! Willow groaned but reluctantly opened her eyes and pressed her alarm clock to turn its annoying wake up call sound off. “What was I supposed to do today? I mean, I got my back to school shopping done yesterday and school doesn’t start next week.” Willow thought out loud. Ring! Ring! “Hello?” She said, her voice still laced with sleep.

“Good morning, Willow! Willow? Is that you?”

“Oh hey, Buffy! What’s up? Is everything okay?”

“Wills, I just wanted to let you know that something has came up so…Just meet us at the library and yes, Giles is already there even though school is not even open.”

Willow could hear a frown in Buffy’s voice. Buffy isn’t a school type and she would frown each time Giles asks her to come by the school even when school is not even in session and sometimes when nothing bad is brewing. Willow giggled to herself silently at that thought.

“Wills, will you be there? Xander is already on his way over there and oh, he is bringing those krisy kremes and coffee!” Buffy added excitedly.

“Yeah, I will be right there, just give me half an hour all right.”

When she got all ready and dressed, she went to call Oz, her boyfriend to join her to the meeting. When she was waiting for Oz to pick her up, her thoughts started to drift away to the place where it reminded her of her dream. She was sure that it was something about herself and Oz, at that thought she smiled. But she doesn’t know how wrong she is.

“Giles, come on! Please, you are giving me a headache by pacing like ping pong. What’s with the bad? Do I have to get all researchy or you can just tell me what it is then I can go tonight and kill it?” Buffy said with a frown.

“Buffy, please. It’s something serious but I am not certain what it is however, I have some clues that would cut the research short.” Giles said.

Taking a bite of glazed donut, Willow was listening intently to what Giles was presenting those clues about the latest bad. “Willow, can you get on that bloody mechanic box to gather some information on those clues?” “You mean, the computer?” Willow giggled. When Giles glared at her and she cleared her throat slightly, “Ahem, all right I will get on it right away.” Note to self, don’t pull that one on him, I guess him being British wouldn’t take computer jokes as funny.

“Aha! I got them!” Willow exclaimed, a little too loud but at least she got all the attention of Scooby gang.

“Oh…oh…are you sure it’s the bad that you need me to track down tonight?” Buffy asked Giles to double check. “Yes immediately as tonight, please be careful.” Giles said with a touch of fatherly concern in his voice.

“Hey Bronze tonight after my patrol okay, guys?” Buffy asked. “Sure, we can go tonight since Cordelia is not back yet from wherever she is. Was it Bahamas or St. Barts? Whatever it is.. I am game! Xander said, still figuring which place she is currently at. “Sure, aren’t you playing tonight, Oz?” Willow asked. “Yeah, we are playing tonight.” Oz replied. Feeling all tingly when Oz was gently rubbing her neck and she smiled at that reassuring touch then turned to Oz to give him a kiss on lips.

Soft breeze moving around and lightly caressing my body everywhere. Could feel a set of lips touching against my shoulders. Lips? Whose lips do they belong to? They don’t feel familiar but yet, they felt so right. I felt so safe here and complete. Hands sliding across my front, softly rubbing them against my stomach. Those hands so soft yet so different and delicate, so unlike Oz’s. How could this be? Ooh… Those lips so soft, gently tickling along my neck. Raising my right hand up to reach the face of the owner of those divine lips, but could only brush the side of its owner’s jaw. Feminine? How would this be? Wait a minute, I could see those eyes.. Wow, those arresting clear blue eyes. I couldn’t blink in fear they will disappear. I couldn’t see the rest of the face but those eyes I will never forget.

Willow bolted upward and blinked her eyes a few times, “Not again! I have been having those dreams but dreams with blue eyes. Ooh, those lips…:” She trailed off. They are just dreams, nothing but dreams. Today is the first day of school! I am now a senior! Senior? Me, a senior?! Get a grip, girl! At least I have survived worse than that, I think!

“Hey Willow! Ready to do something crazy?” Xander shouted when Willow was walking down the stairs holding hands with Oz. “Something crazy like what?” Willow asked a little bit puzzled. Xander and Oz exchanged knowing looks and at the same time, they grabbed Willow and carried her across the street away from Sunnydale High campus. “Oh no! I am not cutting lunch!” Willow exclaimed. Both Xander and Oz chuckled and Xander said, “We are now seniors and we get off campus for lunch. Come on, we are seniors only once, well… as in Oz’s case, twice.”

Buffy was sitting on the light blanket with some munchies spread all over and told them to dive in. “Oh food! That’s neat! Do you cook? I mean, I know for a fact you don’t like cooking.” Xander teased with a boyish charm grin but his grin disappeared when Buffy scowled at him. “Well, yes and no. Why do I have to explain, at least they are good to eat!” Buffy said with mock hurt. They ate in silence for a while until Willow asked Buffy when she will be able to get back to school since she got expelled.

“I don’t know but I am supposed to meet with the Synder the midget this afternoon with my mom.” Buffy replied, packing up all the finished contents of lunch and gave them to Xander so he can stash them in trash.

“Good luck, we really hope you would get back in with us and it’s not same without you! Don’t you agree?” Xander and Oz nodded their heads in unison.

“Thanks, Willow. It means a lot knowing that I got friends like you guys! Come on, give me some love.”

They dove in for group hug and giggled when they scrambled on soft grass before getting up to get back on the campus. Buffy watched the three walking across the street back to Sunnydale High and spotted the green jeep Cherokee knowing it belonged to no one but her mom cruising down the street, obviously looking for a place to park. Buffy wrapped the blanket around her arm, walking to meet her mom and threw the blanket in the back before her mom could close the door. “Buffy, are you all right? Did your friends enjoy the lunch? That’s good, honey.. Let’s go and meet your principal.” Both of them climbed up the stairs on the way to the meeting that resulted Buffy getting herself reinstated and resume her senior year.

At the Bronze, the party that was themed welcome back party was going on pretty well even though it was still early but it’s so packed. The Dingoes were playing, Willow was bringing drinks to the table and said, “Buffy, I will bring your homework assignment for the two classes that you have with me that you missed this morning due to your previous explusion.” “Sure thing, Willow and many thanks! If I am not home by the time you know the patrol thing so anyway, you drop by, just drop them off and I am sure my mom will take them in for me.” Buffy glanced around the dancing floor feeling a little bit down because of what happened with Angel.

“Buffy, wanna dance with me?”

“Sure Xander, I will be leaving in a bit anyway.”

Xander and Buffy were on the dance floor, getting on their grooves and having some fun together. When the techno song was over, Buffy leaned forward so she could whisper in Xander’s ear letting him know that she has to go and patrol and tell everyone else she will see them tomorrow at school. “Thanks for the dance, be careful okay, Buffy.”

“Got it.. Thanks, Xander” Buffy disappeared into the night.

The song Dream Lover is credited to Mariah Carey. Just borrowed her lyrics.

Chapter 2

Looking through the car window at the new building and caught the engraving on the front, Sunnydale High School.

“Tara? Tara! You are here now. Get out of here and go to school!”

She was startled when her father shouted at her, yanking her out of her bewildered thoughts. “I-I am s-s-sorry.” Tara shuttered with some fear in her voice, getting out of the passenger seat. As soon as the door closed, the car zoomed away leaving her alone on the front steps leading her to the new school. Tara Maclay is a transfer student resuming her senior year at Sunnydale High. Her family had to move a few months after her mother died. Tara started walking slowly until she could reach inside of the school. She was dressed in dark olive green cargo pants, black Skechers shoes, heather grey long sleeved shirt with flannel shirt tied around her hips. She was holding her bookbag strap across her chest so tightly that her knuckles are visibly white. A student was wandering through the hallway, clearly trying to some time before his first class of the day spotted Tara. “Hey, you lost?”

“Uhm, yeah where is the administration office?” Tara asked nervously. “Oh, just go straight down and it’s on your left, you wouldn’t miss it.” The student said politely and pointed to the direction that would lead Tara to the office. “Thank you, hmm?” “Your welcome, my name is Jonathan and no problem. You new? Nice to meet you.” Jonathan said before heading down the opposite direction. The door that said administration across its window, she entered the room and went up to the front desk.

“Good morning, miss?” The man dressed in casual clothing, he appeared to be thirtysomething asked, looking up and down at Tara wondering if she is the new transfer that they are expecting to enroll. “G-g-good morning, sir…hmm, Tara,” Tara quickly replied, her voice a little bit strained from nervousness. “Tara? You mean, Tara Maclay?” She nodded. “Alright, Tara, you ought to know that school has started a few days ago but no worries, all the teachers that you are assigned with for the rest of the school year are aware of you coming in slightly later than usual. Here’s your schedule and do you need someone to guide you around the campus so you could get familiarized around here?” The man asked politely and giving her the directions how to get to her homeroom.

“No thanks.. I mean, I am early so I c-can walk around so I can know where all my classes are.”

“No problem, welcome aboard and enjoy your senior year here. If anything else you need, just stop by okay, Miss Maclay.”

“Xander, stop being so..so..” Cordelia tried to search the right pun to throw Xander off but she made a mistake by looking at his smile and glanced up to his eyes. No, not that puppy look! Xander mock-whimpered like a lost puppy wanting a home.

Cordelia gave up by playfully slap his chest and said, “Don’t ever do this to me!”

“Don’t ever do what?”

“You know!”

“No, I don’t... Remember my brain is not always in the right place. So sue me.” Xander continued teasing his girlfriend. Cordelia chose to ignore him and let him have that one.

“Hey Buffy! Have you seen Willow?” Cordelia asked when Buffy came up to them since her next destination is right past them.

“Hmm, I haven’t but I am sure she is with.. Oh there she is! As always.” Buffy pointed at the couple walking down the hallway looking at each other as if they are the only people on earth. When Willow and Oz reached to the group, Cordelia grabbed her arm and announced that she needs to borrow Willow for a few minutes regarding some computer assignment.

“So Buffy, is everything okay with you?” Xander asked.

“Uh… oh yea. I mean yeah yeah I am okay.. Why?” Buffy replied but not with confidence. Not convinced, Xander decided to let it slide but still hoping that his friend will be all right and be her perky self any time soon.

“Honey, done with her already.. Anyway, wanna get some sandwiches for lunch off campus. I mean, I want to be all avoidy from those foods at the cafeteria…I am not sure if I could identify anything here…So hmm, want to—“ Willow babbled but stopped when Oz leaned to kiss her lips and said sure. “Great! Gotta go… u know class…” Willow trailed, walking towards her class looking back at Oz dreamily. “Watch out!” Oz said all of sudden. Oof! *soft thud* “I am fine! Oz, just go ahead to class, I don’t want u to repeat your senior year for the third time.” Willow said quickly. “I am sorry, I wasn’t watching where I was going…But are you all right?” Willow immediately got on her knees to pick anything that could have dropped on the floor.

“N-no, I-I-I am such a klutz! I mean, I was looking at my schedule looking for the next classroom. It’s m-m-my f-fault.” Willow looked up and she should have sworn, the time has stopped once she looked into those arresting clear blue eyes.

Dreamlover come rescue me

Take me up take me down

Take me anywhere you want to baby now

I need you so desperately

Won't you please come around

'Cause I wanna share forever with you baby

I don't want another pretender

To disillusion me one more time

Whispering words of forever

Playing with my mind

I need someone to hold on to

The kind of love that won't fly away

I just want someone to belong to

Everyday of my life

Always

So come and take me away

“Willow? Earth to Willow..” Buffy was waving at her face. “Huh? Yeah, hi Earth.. I mean, I am sorry.. I was just…” Willow trailed off making Buffy chuckle a little. Those eyes?! They are so familiar but I have never seen them before. Those eyes belonged to the new girl. Damn, Willow… I would have simply asked her name instead of hurrying off to my next class. But at least the day is not over.

“Turkey and cheese on rye for you, Chicken asiago sandwich for Buffy, hot pastrami sandwich for Xander, now roast beef for me.” Oz announced pointing to each sandwich, all of them topped with green olives on tooth picks.

“Welcome, Tara Maclay, I believe? Great.. take any seat you want but make sure that you see me after this so we can discuss about your catching up with the course.” Miss Anderson of World Philosophy said with sincerity in her voice. “T-thank you, Miss Anderson.”

Tara scanned around the classroom looking for available seat and saw one next to the beautiful redhead with green eyes, so green as if I would be taken into the rainforest if I stare long enough. When she began to walk towards to her desired seat but a male with spiked hair immediately took the seat she wanted oblivious to the fact that she was walking to that one.

Disappointed, Tara found another one and decided to walk over there. “Hey, you weren’t supposed to be in here! But it’s so nice of you to come in before you go back to your right class.” Willow was greeting Oz but all of sudden, she looked past Oz’s head and saw those blue eyes again but they disappeared when she let her blonde hair hide her face. “Tara?” Willow breathed her name without realizing but not loud enough for everyone nearby to hear her however, it didn’t go unnoticed by Oz.

Tara? Tara Maclay is her name? How beautiful and it definitely suits her. Why am I thinking about that? Hello, I got Oz so what more do I want? But those eyes in my dream… If I was in the crowd of thousands, well.. millions of people, I wouldn’t miss those eyes. Willow’s mind went into full babble-mode.

By the time class was over for the day Tara waited until all the students are gone before she could approach to her teacher to discuss about her catching up.

“Okay Miss Maclay, how do you feel about this course? Is the pace all right for you? That’s great! However, I am little concerned about your participation in this course. Do you realize that it does affect your overall grade? Okay, that’s good. So here are the assignments that you need to do, in order to catch up. They are due next week so you can have more time for them. If you need a tutor or someone who can help you with this, I have someone in mind.” Miss Anderson looked at Tara and found that she understood everything she said.

“I-I-I would need to ask if you c-c-could tell me who I can go to for this?” Tara smiled nervously and shifted around a little in her chair.

“Willow Rosenberg would be the right choice so what do you think?” The teacher asked politely noticing how nervous her new student is but doesn’t want to push her too much.

“Willow Rosenberg?”

“Yes, the one with red hair. You can probably catch her at the library, for some reason I have noticed that she spend most of her afternoons at the library.” She said with a geniune smile and handed her the paperwork.

“This demon is really nasty!” Xander exclaimed. “Yes, I believe it was called Troxaka, Troxaka demons are usually foot soldiers but quite vicious. They can not see perfectly, they only see and sense our body heat, that’s how they can track their prey by their heat.” Giles explained.

“So, what are they doing here? I mean I am sure there are thousands of us here blasting the whole town with heat but what exactly are they doing here in Sunnydale?” Buffy grimaced.

“I am not certain, Buffy however, I will look into this and find out why they are here and what exactly their plans are…” Giles trailed off when he noticed Xander stuffing a whole donut in his mouth as a signal that he needs to shut up.

All of four of them were looking at obviously shy blonde as she poked her head gently but the door is blocking the view of her body. “Hello, miss? How may I help you? Come on in, don’t be afraid, you see, it is just the library, full of books.” Giles tried some light humor.

“H-hello, I am looking for W-W-Willow Rosenberg? Is she in here?”

“Willow? Oh yes, she is here indeed. Willow! Someone here to see you.” Giles called for Willow.

Running down the stairs from the second floor of the library. Everything seems to be set in slow motion. Each step down made a soft sound of stomp was made by the black with white stripes Adidas shoes. They belonged to the gorgeous redhead. Her flamey hair slowly bounced up and down. Her eyes so green and sparkly in search for the destination that called for her. This is Willow? Tara couldn’t believe her eyes.

Blue eyes locked with green ones. “Willow?” Even her voice is so beautiful and full of innocence. The way she spoke my name as if she was savoring the taste of my name. “Willow? Hi, my name is Tara Maclay and uh..I-I have World Philosophy class at the last period w-w-with you. Umm, I am sorry if I interrupted s-s-s something.” Tara looked around, feeling so sure that she interrupted something important.

Tara’s voice found her and brought her back to the reality from her reverie. “No! I mean, you didn’t interrupt anything.. Hey, I’m Willow and umm, I remember you, I mean I saw you in my class. Do you need anything, I mean I can tutor you or something? I have all the notes if you would need some copies or something? Is that why you are looking for me? Willow was already in her full babble-mode. Tara was looking at her a little perplexed but felt something pretty strange as if her babble-mode is making her feel tingly in a very comforting way. She couldn’t stop her but didn’t realize that Willow was waiting for her to answer her questions.

“Sorry, I-I was looking for you because Miss Anderson recommended that I ask you to help me catch up with some homework assignments.” Tara responded and her confidence increasing very slightly.

“Yes! I mean, I can help you with your homework assignments. I am free tonight and tomorrow after school or whenever you are available too. Lemme give you my phone number and umm, email address if you have a computer at home or something like that.” Willow smiled her trademark smile and turned quickly to her backpack on the table to retrieve her notepad and several colored pens. Tara followed behind a little so Willow didn’t have to take extra steps back just to give the piece of paper. “Thank you, Willow and uhm, I will call you tonight okay.” Tara looked around, smiling nervously and waved a little bye to everyone.

“Tara!” Tara stopped mid-motion and turned her head back. “Tara, please forgive my manners, let me introduce you to everyone here. This is Buffy, Xander, my best friends, Oz, my boyfriend and Giles, the librarian obviously.” “Hello Tara.” They said in unison.

Boyfriend? Tara thought, disappointment creeping through her thoughts.

“H-hello and uh, I have to go now. Thanks again, Willow.” Tara turned and closed the door behind her. Willow was staring at her walking away and she could have sworn that she saw something like sadness subtly writing all over Tara’s face. Is it something I said that made her seem sad? Why am I feeling so strong towards her? I can’t even explain it. Can’t explain it?! Me, all scientific facts-type gal and I can’t even find anything logical to explain what I am feeling.

“Willow? Willow? Are you okay?” Willow didn’t realize Oz was talking to her until Oz lightly squeezed her shoulder. Tara? I could be wrong, but there was something between her and my girlfriend. Where did this come from? Nah, no need to be paranoid, it is just nothing. Oz shook that thought away.

Ah, here's the first couple of chapters. This is a good story. I like it, there's a nice feel to it.

Poor Oz.

Willow: Hey Buff. One more thing. Buffy: Yeah? Willow: I’m gay. Buffy: Okay, Will. Xander owes me ten bucks.

Chapter 3

Four months earlier, “Tara, honey? Can you come in here and I need to talk to you?” Rain, Tara’s mother lying in her bed calling to Tara telepathically knowing they are actually home alone together.

“Mom, are you all right? D-D-Do you need anything?” Tara walked in her bedroom and fussed over her mother.

“No, Tara… I am fine for now, please lay down with me and I only wanted to talk to you.”

“Okay mom, give me a-a-a second.” Taking off her shoes and lay down next to her mother, careful not to put all her weight down all at once knowing how fragile her mother is. She lowered her head onto her mother’s shoulder and allowed her wrap her arms around her.

“Honey, you know that I am going away anytime soon… Shh, I am trying to talk to you, Tara. Please listen to what I am going to say. I want you to know that I will never leave you in spiritual sense.” Rain paused and tried to take some more of strength before she could continue. Tara was already crying softly but waiting for her mother to continue.

“Tara, I wanted to tell you that I have left you some funds that your father and Donny don’t know about. I have ensured that some of your funds are in final stage of return from the investments and you will have enough for college if you wish to go and among other things you want or need. I already had arranged with the lawyer to ensure that the transaction will be taken care of within my instructions. Also, I know that you have to go back and live with your father and Donny only until you finish high school. Sweetheart, I know it is very tough but I know you are strong young woman. If they ask, please don’t tell them anything and nothing comes out of this house, is that understood, honey?” Rain looked down at her daughter full of love and compassion not minding about the wet spot growing on her flannel shirt. Tara nodded and started sobbing loudly.

That’s all right, baby. I love you with all my heart and I have loved you even before you opened your beautiful blue eyes to the world. Rain spoke without voice but it was heard so clear to Tara.

“Mom?”

“Hmm, yes honey?”

“Can I tell you something?” Tara asked her voice a little hoarse from crying.

“Yes, sweetheart, how many times do I have to tell you that you don’t have to ask before you could tell me anything you want to share?” Rain scolded playfully.

Tara smiled softly and looking up at her mother, aware of her striking resemblance to her mother’s before leaning her head on her shoulder again.

“I-I-I had dreams for a few nights and they don’t seem they would stop any time soon.”

Hmm, go on, it’s all right... Rain spoke into her daughter’s mind.

“I couldn’t place it, actually but only thing I could see were the most beautiful green eyes. I mean, they are so penetrating as if they could bore into my soul. I felt so complete each time I stare into those green orbs. We are always c-c-caressing each other…” Tara trailed, clearly blushing but heard soft laughter coming from her mother then continued knowing that she could confide in her mom without any doubt.

“Tara, thank you for sharing this with me. The answer to your dreams will come to you when it’s time. Don’t rush it nor force it. I love you, sweetheart. You will always be my sunshine filling me with nothing but pure happiness. Again, remember I will never leave you. Never leave you…”

Tara was sobbing silently, tracing her fingers all over her favorite framed photo of herself being embraced by her mother. Few months before Rain was diagnosed, she was begging Tara to take a picture at this carnival that they always went every year. Tara eventually gave in knowing she will never say no to her mother even when she is somewhat camera shy. Rain was sitting across Tara’s lap and tilted her head onto the top of Tara’s. She remembered how her mom joked about the fact that Tara is slightly taller than her so she made sure she was taller than her by sitting on her lap. They were smiling candidly and it was the most perfect photo taken, in her opinion because it showed genuine bond full of love between mother and daughter.

“I miss you so much, Mom…It h-has been s-s-so hard being back with Daddy and Donny. They are treating me so awful. I need you, Mom!” Tara whispered, so that her father and Donny wouldn’t hear her.

Remember, I will never leave you… I am always with you…

Looking up at her clock in her bedroom, wiping her tears with her hands. It read 6:17 in the evening. Hmm, I could call Willow but I don’t know if I should. It must be her dinner time hour and it would be rude to interrupt her if I called. Tara thought, wrestling whether to wait until tomorrow but suddenly remembered Willow saying, she can call anytime. Here I go, dialing her number.

After the first ring, Willow grabbed her cordless phone and immediately answered, “Yeah?”

“W-Willow?”

“Tara? Is that you? I am glad you called because I was thinking you wouldn’t call. I mean, sometimes some kids would come up to me and ask for my tutoring help and I ended up getting prank calls. Or they would just do this for show, I don’t know. Sometimes I don’t get them. Tara, I am sorry if I am babbling-.”

“Willow, that’s okay but I hope I am not interrupting your dinner hour b-b-but you said I could call anytime.” Tara double-checked apprehensively.

“That’s no problem really; I don’t practically have those so-called family dinners nowadays. I mean my parents and all. I usually eat them in my bedroom, you know.” Willow quickly explained trying to reassure Tara.

“O-O-Okay, hmm can we set up the time and I can get started on them? Miss Anderson said they are due next week and that leaves me enough time to catch up all on them.” Tara explained timidly.

“Tara, you can swing by my house tomorrow right after school and it’s safer that way.” Willow suggested but suddenly realizing she dropped a hint that no one are to be out at night alone, you know all the vampires and demons roaming around at night.

Safer? Tara thought but spoke, “Y-yes, I can stop by your house right after school tomorrow and t-t-thank you so much for giving up your time to help me.”

“Great, lemme give you the directions to my house and I am sure you already know by now that Sunnydale is not that big of a city. I will see you in class tomorrow and oh, you can sit down next to me in World Philosophy so I can keep you updated in case you ever got lost.” Willow babbled with slight excitement in her voice.

Tara wrote everything for the directions before saying good bye and hung up. I can’t believe I am actually going to see Willow tomorrow and we will be alone. Tara! Willow’s straight and she already has a boyfriend named Oz. What odd name is that? I guess it’s his nickname. Why do I always fall for straight girls? But those green eyes, I could feel them reading through me as if I couldn’t hide myself from them. It doesn’t help ease the disappointment still lurking around her heart.

Willow couldn’t concentrate on her studies after her phone call with Tara. Her mind kept drifting away to the most familiar place, those blue eyes. “Why am I feeling like this?” Willow whispered to herself in frustration.

Okay, need some music! Willow turned on her CD player, and tuned into her favorite station. The music started to fill her room until the song came on that made the hair on Willow’s neck rise. That song!

I need a lover to give me

The kind of love

That would last always

I need somebody uplifting

To take me away

I want a lover who knows me

Who understands how I feel inside

Someone to comfort and hold me

Through the long lonely nights

Till the dawn

Why don't you take me away

Chorus

Dreamlover come rescue me

Take me up take me down

Take me anywhere you want to baby now

I need you so desperately

Won't you please come around

'Cause I wanna share forever with you baby

I don't want another pretender

To disillusion me one more time

Whispering words of forever

Playing with my mind

I need someone to hold on to

The kind of love that won't fly away

I just want someone to belong to

Everyday of my life

Always

So come and take me away

Tara put the headphone ear plugs in her ears and turned on her CD walkman and the song was so familiar but she knew it wasn’t on her chosen CD because she has memorized all the songs on that CD by heart. A warm feeling started to spread up her back like they are regenerating new veins. She started to hum along subconsciously.

Chapter 4

Walking down the sidewalk to Willow’s house, Tara took her time getting to know Sunnydale. Willow told her to go ahead and meet her at the house and she will be right there after speaking with Giles letting him know she is unable to be there this afternoon and possibly all night. Even in California, it’s known for only two seasons, either rain or shine. The leaves are already turning into some beautiful autumn colors but Tara knew all this is very short-lived. The park slowly came in sight, Tara checked her wristwatch before taking her way through the park to the swings. She loved to swing and it always reminded her captured times with her mother. Gently dropping her bookbag against the swing stand, testing the strength of the swing to be sure that it is very well secured.

Feeling the breeze pushing against her face and flared her silk blonde as if they were golden waves in the air. She swung for a while before getting lost in her own thoughts.

“Are you sure, you don’t need me to be there and we can both help Tara catch up? I took that course last year and I aced it.” Oz asked, steering the wheel, turning onto the street leading to Willow’s house.

“Oz, that’s okay…You see, it would be better if Tara and I do this one on one thing. And besides, you have practice before your gig tonight. Oh, I could swing by the Bronze to watch you play, whatcha think?” Willow said with a toothy grin.

“Sure thing.” Oz said, wishing that he didn’t have practice so he can tag along.

When Willow turned her head towards the passenger window in time to see Tara flying higher on the swing. She couldn’t take her eyes off her. Her eyes closed as if she was dreaming but not asleep. She is so divinely beautiful so she kept watching until Tara was out of her sight.

“What was it you were looking at until you couldn’t turn your head more than 180 degrees?” Oz teased.

“Uh, hmm…nothing, actually nothing…” Willow stammered.

“Thanks for the ride,” Willow leaned forward to put a kiss on Oz’s cheek “and I will see you tonight at Bronze okay.”

Ding dong! Ding dong! Tara rang the doorbell and heard quick footsteps on the other side of the door and the lock click. “Hello Tara! I see you got here just all right. Come on in,” Willow smiled, pulling the door wider so she could let Tara pass “we are going to do this in my bedroom and want anything to eat or drink?” Willow was walking towards the kitchen.

“Yes, some water would be just fine and t-t-thank you.”

“Got them! Let’s go upstairs! My parents are out of town as usual so we wouldn’t get any interruptions.” Willow led Tara into her bedroom and told her just to drop her bookbag anywhere. Tara dropped her bookbag and wandered around the room. It’s quite spacious and she went to the side full of trophies and awards, all of them are related to academics, Tara noticed. When she saw the last year science fair blue ribbon that incidated that Willow won the first place for her project. Wow, Willow is definitely the right choice, Tara noted to herself that she will thank Miss Anderson for recommending Willow’s help with her assignments.

“Congratulations on those awards you have received here.” Tara said with complete sincere.

“Oh those? They are nothing but thank you,” Willow said with a smile “are you ready? I have everything set up so we can get started right away.”

A lot of time has passed, Tara was almost done catching up with the assignments she has missed. Both Tara and Willow noticed how well they worked together but were too shy to acknowledge it to each other. Willow started to glance, noticing how beautiful Tara was up close. The way her lips were moving a little while Tara was concentrating very hard. The way her eyes flickered in absolute concentration. At this moment, Willow realized she is falling for Tara hard. Her eyes fell onto Tara’s lips and her thoughts rushed into each other forming the only image of her pressing her own lips against Tara’s. Willow tried to shake that image out of her mind, it couldn’t shatter but it showed the image of them kissing with so much passion. Tara’s hands were already in her red tresses and Willow allowing Tara take over trusting her completely knowing she is only to lead them into their own heaven. It sent some dull ache in between her legs and Willow tried to ease but it actually went the opposite, it was intensifying.

Suddenly, Willow got up and muttered that she is going to the bathroom leaving the surprised Tara. What am I gonna do?! I can’t believe I was so close to kissing her! Even I thought about it as if the thought was penetrating me against my own will. I mean, I am falling for that girl, umm, hard! I could feel her energy spreading towards me and it felt so comfortable as if I was supposed to belong there. The big question is, what am I supposed to do with these feelings while I don’t know Tara very well and I am sure she doesn’t feel the same about me. Willow’s mind was practically overflowing with thoughts. Willow banged her head against the door frame softly but it sent a soft echo.

“Willow?” Tara looked around and saw no one, she stood up and walked out towards the bathroom. “Willow?” Tara knocked softly but no response. Tara tried again with little firm to her knocking.

“Willow, are you all right? Are you sick? W-w-would u like for me to leave?” Tara whispered, letting the palm of her right hand press itself on the door and lightly rubbing some hoping that she doesn’t have to leave but had to make sure.

Willow’s left palm was already touching the opposite side of door feeling soft magnetic pull through the door until she heard the last question. Willow suddenly opened the door startling Tara. “No! I am sorry, I don’t want you to leave. I mean, do you have to?” Willow hoped Tara wouldn’t have to leave.

“A-A-Are you sure?” Tara said with a hint of timidity in her voice, allowing her hair cover her face, taking a great interest at her fingers.

Willow’s heart swelled at the sight and reached for Tara’s hand to reassure her that she was very sure. When their hands touch, a sudden bolt of power surged through both of them. They yanked from each other looking so astonished then looked at their own hands not believing what they just experienced.

“Are you a-a-a w-witch?” Tara asked hoping it was true.

“Me, a witch? I don’t think so. I mean I started practicing witchcraft to help…But no, I am not that powerful enough to take the title.” Willow said with playful frown.

“You are powerful. Your power is pretty raw but very powerful, I could feel it, don’t you?”

“But but you are very powerful because I could feel yours, are you a witch?” Willow asked curiously, her mind kept going back to the intense experience when they touched.

“Yes, I am a witch, actually a fifth generation Wiccan on my mother’s side. I have several gifts combined in one but the greatest one is empathy.” Tara explained confidently leaving Willow quite surprised.

“Wow, your mom is also a witch? I would like to meet her someday because I am sure she is as wonderful as you are.” Willow smiled.

Tara looked sad all of sudden and she was clearly fighting to hold tears back but already is losing.

Willow sensed her distress right before she saw the tears begin flowing steady. Without thinking, Willow closed the remaining distance and wrapped her arms around Tara trying to comfort her. Not caring that Tara was using her shirt to absorb her tears. They were like that for a while until Tara released herself from Willow to compose herself.

“I am sorry for crying all of sudden, I mean the first time I am at your house and I am a-a-already crying.” Tara sniffled and wiped last remains of tears.

“That’s okay, Tara.. Did I say something wrong? I mean, you don’t have to answer that. I don’t mean to pry-“

“My mom died,” Tara interrupted then paused. “S-She died four months ago. It’s still too raw, I miss my mom very much. She was my backbone through everything even though I don’t get along with my daddy and my brother very well. Sometimes I felt so lost without her but I would hear her voice reminding me that I have to be strong regardless.” Tara allowed her feelings out openly to Willow knowing that she understood.

They headed back to Willow’s bedroom to resume their schoolwork. Some time has passed until the phone rang. Willow was slightly confused then she looked at the clock next to the phone. Willow gasped, “Oh no! I totally forgot about Bronze tonight.” Tara knew she wasn’t speaking directly to her but all of sudden, she felt bad for causing Willow to forget about her plans tonight.

“Hello?”

“Willow, you still at home? I have been waiting for you ever since my gig was over plus the gang was expecting you too.” Oz spoke clearly disappointed.

“I am sorry, Oz… I totally lost track of time and Tara finally caught up with her assignments. You know, me.. all studious and can’t miss anything related to school. I am really sorry.” Willow said feeling terrible but at the same time, grateful that she got to spend time with Tara alone.

“That’s okay, I understand… I will see you at school tomorrow okay? Meet me at the quad before school okay? Great.. Gotta go and I will let everyone know that u are at home safe and sound.” Oz hung up after Willow said her good bye.

“Where’s Willow? Is she okay?” Buffy asked Oz.

“Yeah, she is at home helping Tara, you know the new transfer with catching up.”

“Oh okay, guys…Gotta go patrol and get the full report to Giles by tomorrow morning. Good night guys and be careful!” Buffy slid off her high chair.

“I am really sorry that I might have crashed your plans for tonight. I-I-I should have made sure that I left earlier so you could do your thing tonight.” Tara apologized immediately but got interrupted by Willow. “Don’t worry about it, it’s just that we usually go over there and if I missed it, it wouldn’t end the world anyway. Willow reassured with a genuine smile.

“Uhm..It’s getting pretty late, I-I-I s-should be on my way home. Thank you very much for helping me with my schoolwork. W-W-What do I owe for this? Tara smiled her half-smile and locking her eyes onto Willow’s green orbs.

Owe me? Willow thought, “Actually, you don’t have to repay me for my help, I enjoy helping you out-“

“Please Willow, I insist. Okay, tell you what… now you have a favor from me, it would be anything and of course, nothing that would pull any harm on anyone.” Tara smiled.

“Hmm, that’s such a great idea. Have you been to Bronze, since you are new to town? No? Oh great, hmm may I take you to the Bronze, say tomorrow night?” Willow asked, with her heart-melting smile.

“Bronze, it is… Tomorrow night.. I will be there.” Tara said with shy smile.

Walking down the sidewalk home, all of sudden, a nauseous feeling just passed Tara throughout her entire body. But it only lasted few seconds before she felt fine again. Shaking her head, it must be something in the air and continued walking home. Up in the tree, the Troxaka demon was smiling and watching.

Chapter 5

Standing in the long line with a lot of people who are anxiously waiting to get into obviously packed Bronze, Tara waited patiently. She got a note from Willow telling her that she can go ahead and Willow will meet her there. Tara thought she would hold Willow’s spot in the line so Willow doesn’t have to be at the end of the line. “Tara?”

“Hey Willow, umm, I held your spot here so you d-d-don’t have to be at the end since the line is pretty long.” Tara retorted.

“Thanks Tara, but come on…” Willow pulled Tara out of the line and proceeded up to the front.

“Good evenin’ Willow,” the bouncer greeted with the first name basis, unlatching the velvet rope letting Willow and Tara pass, “Buffy told me to relay this message, she will see you inside in an hour or so. She gotta do some business, I guess.” The bouncer whispered in Willow’s ear.

“Hey Bro’Trae, she’s with me and thanks for the message.” Willow greeted back, tugging a surprised Tara along inside.

“You know him?” Tara asked.

“Yeah, I do…I tutored him in Math when I was sophomore and he was a senior. He is attending at University of California, Los Angeles and around here, we say UCLA but sometimes he would come back to work as bouncer on most weekends. He might seem tough outside but really, he is cool.” Willow elaborated with a smile.

“Hey Willow!” Xander waved his hand to get Willow’s attention through the heavy crowd surrounding them.

“I see Xander, come on…he is the most reliable guy for getting the good table even this place is truly packed!” Willow grinned, her arm locked through Tara’s arm making sure that she doesn’t lost her while passing through the crowd to the table with the gang sitting around enjoying the scene.

“Hey guys! Remember Tara?” Willow greeted everyone.

“Hey Tara!” Xander shouted a little, making sure that Tara heard him just fine even with the music so loud.

“Hello everyone, how are you?” Tara shouted back but her voice gentle.

“Come on, don’t be standing there... Sit down and enjoy the atmosphere and the music surely have improved!” Xander grinned then asked, “Anyone want drinks? Sure thing, be right back.” Xander slipped off and headed to the bar.

Tara was feeling somewhat strange, she couldn’t put her finger on it however, and the effect of the music is really doing some impact on her. It made her feel as if she has the urge to go out and dance for no particular reason. Tara doesn’t really dance; actually she is too shy to dance, at the Bronze of all the places. Something’s wrong, Tara thought silently. She glanced around, trying to put her mind out of whatever is pulling at her. Until she took a double take at a cute brunette who was staring at her intently as if she was working up some courage to do something about the objection of her desire. The brunette clad in tight tank top revealing her torso in full detail and leather pants molding her sculptured legs, decided to walk over to the blonde, looking up and down deliciously at her selected prey-. She causally leaned towards Tara and whispered sultry, “Hi there, my name’s Valentina. Wanna dance?” Valentina pulled back and smiled flirtiously waiting for Tara to respond.

Something’s definitely wrong! I couldn’t say no, I mean, she is definitely attractive but she is no Willow. Goddess, she looks so sexy! What am I doing?! Tara thought, struggling to resist whatever is pulling at her. All she could get out was, “Sure.”

Willow saw the whole thing and couldn’t believe what she saw. Something was building in her that she never felt before, pure jealousy. Willow couldn’t take her eyes off Tara being led by Valentina. Tara could see what was happening but couldn’t control her body or her mind. As they reached to the dance floor, Valentina put her mouth near Tara’s ear and asked what kind of dance she would want. I don’t want to dance with you, Valentina! Tara simply said, “Doesn’t matter, any kind of dance would do just fine.” Valentina smirked and came closer, put her hands on Tara’s hips. Tara followed her, step by step and her hands mimicking Valentina’s and they began grinding gently. Hips together, now their legs are in between of each other as if they were making love through dancing. Tara gasped when she felt Valentina press her leather clad crotch onto her thigh. She could feel her heat of arousal then looked up at Valentina and saw her looking back at her with a knowing smirk. Tara couldn’t stop herself until Valentina grabbed her waist, turned her around so she could face towards the table where she was sitting before and she could feel Valentina’s breasts pressing against her back. Willow wanted to take her eyes away from that sight but she couldn’t when she had her eyes locked with Tara’s.

Willow kept watching Tara and Valentina dance, wishing with every cell in her body that she was the one who had the courage to ask her to dance. Willow couldn’t bring herself to grant her own wish when she knows Oz is right up on the stage playing. Tara couldn’t stop staring at Willow’s green eyes and knew she is falling in love with her. “Why are you looking at that redhead, aren’t you together?” Valentina asked but didn’t stop moving against Tara’s body.

Tara turned her head towards Valentina’s, her lips was close enough to touch hers and whispered, “Let me go, please…I am not meant to dance with you.” Her hands reached behind to grab Valentina’s hips then slide down and up along Valentina’s hips continuing the sexual dance.

“Well, why don’t you?” Valentina challenged and she could feel Tara’s ass pressing against her pelvis.

Willow finally took her eyes off them and abruptly left the table mumbling that she needs to go to the bathroom to refresh. Tara witnessed the sudden exit of Willow. Tara managed to break out of that strange spell long enough for her to follow Willow leaving Valentina all hot and bothered alone watching Tara go, wondering what the hell just happened.

Pushing the bathroom door too hard that it slammed against the tiled wall, Willow ran to the last stall even though the bathroom is miraculously deserted and locked herself in. Why? Now I know Tara is into girls but obviously not me! Hello, Willow have you forgotten? U already have Oz, the little voice told her. But Tara?! I feel something and I can’t explain it. Tara is definitely no Oz! I want her and I need her! Willow’s thoughts were mind-boggling. She cupped her face with both hands and cried quietly that she didn’t hear the door open and close.

Tara followed Willow into bathroom after telling worried Xander that she could try and find out what’s wrong with Willow even she knew why instinctively.

“Willow? Are you in here?”

Tara?! Willow jerked her head suddenly at the sound calling her name.

Willow couldn’t bring herself to unlock the bathroom stall door because she couldn’t face Tara while she is like this not right away.

Tara begun to walk and checking the doors in search for Willow until she reached to the last stall. Tara knew Willow was in there because she could sense her distress and it was somewhat overwhelming to Tara.

“Willow? I know you are in there, please come out and I can explain, I m-m-mean something is really wrong.” Tara pleaded still not understanding why Willow was being like this.

Just before Willow could completely unlock the door, she was pushed against the wall and Tara was already pressing her body against Willow. Tara looked into Willow’s eyes and glanced slowly down to her lips. Goddess! You have no idea how much I wanted to kiss you, but not like this. Tara tried to transmit her message to her but it created no result. Willow was taken aback with complete consternation to feel Tara’s lips against hers. Willow couldn’t do anything but pressing her lips in response. Tara is really kissing me! Goddess! Are my lips moving? Willow’s mind was definitely going into overload. It was almost heavenly but something was wrong. All of sudden, Tara pulled away leaving Willow gasping and closed her eyes trying to restrain herself resisting the overwhelming pull. Tara looked at Willow desperately trying to say something. It struck Willow, it was not really Tara, I mean it’s her body but her essence is not in the right place, Willow knew.

Oh Goddess! I am scaring Willow and I can’t believe I am practically forcing myself onto her, actually not me but it’s my body. I can’t control this! Tara grew so worried and embarrassed but tried to communicate with Willow telepathically.

Willow? Can you hear me? I am so sorry! It’s not me kissing you, I am in my body but I could not control it. Something is really wrong here.

“Tara?” Willow reached for Tara but Tara pulled away. “Tara, I know something’s not right here but I want to help you, please.” Willow pleaded gently hoping that Tara wouldn’t pull away any further. Willow still could feel the print that Tara left on her lips. Willow wanted to kiss her to comfort her but she knew she couldn’t do this not now, not when something bad is definitely brewing. Willow suddenly remembered that Buffy will be stopping by anytime and told Tara to stay put so she could get Buffy.

“Willow! Are you okay? I thought Tara was with you, I mean Tara told me she will find you and-“

“Have u seen Buffy yet?!” Willow interrupted, slightly distraught.

“Hey Willow, here I am.” Buffy just walked up behind Willow in time to hear her name being mentioned.

“Buffy! I need your help! It’s Tara, something is wrong with her. I think it’s something demonic.” Willow was already dragging Buffy towards the bathroom that consists Tara.

Tara was already sweating because she was consuming her remaining strength putting in resistance against the unknown force. Both Buffy and Willow rushed to Tara. Buffy decided it’s time to bring Tara over to the library where Giles usually confines himself in. Buffy knew they don’t have time to carry her all the way to Sunnydale High then Buffy told Willow to get Xander and Oz since Oz has the van. All of them arrived at the school all in less than ten minutes.

Giles snapped his head up from his book when he heard some noises outside of his office. Preparing himself for anything, he grabbed his crossbow and opened the door.

“Giles! Come out now!” Buffy shouted.

Giles knew from the tone of Buffy’s voice, something is terribly wrong. He dropped his weapon back on the table and saw Tara in some kind of state, he wasn’t certain.

“What’s wrong with Tara?” Willow asked Giles with worry in her eyes. Willow couldn’t be away from Tara on the entire way to school from the Bronze. Buffy practically had to peel Willow off Tara so she could carry her into the library.

“Tara, can you hear me?” Giles asked. Tara nodded but couldn’t form any coherent words. “Are you sick?” Tara shook her head.

Giles stood up and said, “I will be right back, I have to do something that would give us the answer to what is happening to Tara.” Giles disappeared and returned with some stuff that they haven’t seen before.

“Giles, what are you doing?” Buffy questioned with a scowl.

“Please be quiet,” Giles retorted sternly “and these are very delicate and we all have to be quiet in order for these to work.”

Minutes passed but to them, they felt as if hours have passed.

Giles took his glasses and cleaned them with heavy sigh before speaking, “It appears that Tara was under influence of Troxaka demon’s spell. In fact, I am quite confused with the fact that Tara was able to fight against it and from what I have read about them, their spells are usually effective.” Buffy knew that Giles was holding something back and decided to grill him to say what was seemingly embarrassed to Giles.

“Spill it, Giles I know there is more to this.” Buffy said with a frown.

“Yes, there is something else to this. Those spells are usually focused on their desire or their lust…actually they would make them sexually charged, I emphasize very sexual.” Giles blushed lightly.

“Oh, I mean... Oh, how do we break this spell because from the looks of it, I don’t think Tara is able to hang on any longer?” Buffy was looking at Tara with sympathy.

“The only way we can break the spell is to kill the demon that originally did this. But the problem is we do not know which one and you might have to kill them all.” Giles explained with a sigh.

“Kill them all? Got it, no problem.” Buffy went to the cage to retrieve her weapons and threw one of those to Xander, Oz and Giles. “Let’s go before they do this to someone else.” Buffy vowed.

“Tara? I know you can hear me and I am glad that you will be all right anytime soon.” Willow whispered, wrapping her arms around Tara trying to console her.

I can’t fight this any longer. Tara was feeling very disoriented because she couldn’t allow herself fall under completely. Her scent is so intoxicating! No! Please don’t let me do this to my Willow. My Willow?! Since when is she mine? Tara tried to pull herself out of Willow’s embrace but Willow’s grasp gently tightened causing Tara to look up into her eyes.

“Umm, I know I shouldn’t be doing this but I can’t help myself. You are really beautiful, really beautiful.” Willow said, allowing herself get lost in those azure eyes. Willow raised her left hand to cup Tara’s chin lightly and brushed along her jaw taking in how silky her skin was. Willow bit her lower lip for a second then licked her lips and hesitantly closing the gap between herself and Tara. “Can I?” Willow asked, ignoring the warning in the back of her back. “I-I-I don’t know...uh…I-I d-d-don’t think you know what y-you are doing? I mean, I a-a-am sorry-“ Willow pressed her lips onto Tara’s. It took Tara by surprise but immediately returned the kiss, allowing their lips linger against each other, melting into each other. Willow pulled back and looked into the deep ocean. “Wow…” Willow trailed off almost breathlessly.

“Giles, I want to know something about the spell. If one got the effect of the spell, will he act out on his lust on anyone randomly or only his objection of desire?” Buffy questioned, opening all her senses for anything out of ordinary.

“From what I have read about the spell, it is possible that whoever is under the effect would only act on his objection of desire. However, randomly is very unlikely.” Giles replied, tightening his grasp on his weapon.

“I see,” Buffy suddenly remembered that Willow is now with Tara and said, “I am sure that Willow will be fine since Tara wouldn’t do anything to her but time is really running out for Tara though. Tara is pretty strong but she is hanging in there…well barely.”

‘Aaa!” Xander screamed when a figure that has snake-like scales all over its body jumped in front of him out of nowhere and hissed loudly at Xander. Its teeth were small but razor sharp, since the meat of a human is not in their diet. Xander recognized this demon as Troxaka because he could see single horn in the middle of its forehead. A few seconds passed, the horn started to glow transforming the demon’s true colors of blue and deep green into yellow with deep hue of purple. Xander couldn’t move but stare at its transformation.

“Xander, get away! It’s casting the spell upon you!” Giles screamed, running towards to the back of the demon, the axe all ready to strike at its head. Giles knew from his quick research on how to kill Troxaka demons, they are at their most vulnerable state when they are casting a spell even for a minute. However, their spells are almost always fatal to humans and even to some types of demons.

A high-pitched shriek sound was heard and immediately everything was quiet. Xander looked at the decapitated head, decomposing very quickly into nothing, not even one grain of dust, breathing so hard. “Thanks Giles…”

“Come on, it’s not over yet.” Giles helped Xander up and rejoined Buffy and Oz.

Back in the library, Tara and Willow were already caught up in each other and kissing passionately. Willow decided to take another risk and waited until the next time Tara opened her mouth. Willow gently thrust her tongue into Tara and heard her breath catch then immediately responded to the new sensation in her mouth. Willow let out a soft moan while exploring her tongue in Tara’s mouth, intensifying the passion between them. For several more moments, Tara decided to take charge, she gently got ahold of Willow’s lower lip between her teeth and let it slip before returning back to the lips she already loved. Something just left Tara and Tara gasped suddenly stopping the kissage. “Tara?” Willow asked, already feeling deprived of Tara’s lips.

“Willow, I c-c-can’t do this. I mean, I am feeling much better now. Remember you have your boyfriend. I-I better go now…I am s-sorry…I-I... good night, Willow and tell everyone I am so thankful for their help. I-I h-h have to go.” Tara was stuttering really badly, grabbing her jacket and left the library.

Willow started to say something but no word comes out. All she could do was stand there and stare at the swinging door moving until it stopped. She wanted to chase after her but Tara made it clear that she doesn’t want Willow to follow. She raised her hand to her lips, remembering how aroused she was when she was kissing Tara knowing it was so different but yet powerful than…Willow couldn’t allow herself to think of it but yet she already knew. Remember you have your boyfriend, Tara’s voice repeatedly echoed in her mind.

“Tara Maclay, I am already falling in love with you…” Willow spoke to the empty room.

Very nice fic... stupid Troxaka demon... but hey, Willow will help her out... that's what Willow does for Tara...

I'm liking this. I'm really liking this. It's very cool.

Great story!

I hope W/T can work out something. The demon's influence is going to make things awkward for them.

Tara: My heart doesn't stutter.

Tara: Willow, I got so lost.

Willow: I found you. I will always find you.

Hello Kittens! How are you all doin' Here's the update! Enjoy!

Chapter 6

Running down the street leading to her house, hot tears flowing down Tara's cheeks, she stopped at the tree only a few houses down before hers. Lowering herself down and sat against the trunk, she continued to cry in silence until she couldn't cry anymore. Standing up, brushing her clothes before heading home. When Tara got inside, it was quiet and she knew that they were asleep and they wouldn't care less if she exists or not. It was good for her actually so she doesn't have to deal with them whenever she wasn't in the mood until tonight.

"Tara? Is that you?" the voice in the darkness called out to Tara, sending nauseous feeling into her stomach.

"Dad, yes it's me, sir. I am just heading upstairs to bed." Tara managed to speak clearly, not wanting to show any sign that she was crying moments earlier.

"Tara, come in here. I need to talk to you before you go." Her father said with an even tone, turning on the light in the living room.

"Shit..." She muttered under breath and came into the living room to face the man whose only connection to her is through DNA while standing up. "Hmm? I am here now, sir."

"Sit down, Tara..." Mr. Maclay moved a little forward that he was sitting on the edge of the couch waiting for Tara to sit down in the armchair opposite of him. "I want to talk about your mother." He was looking at his daughter, subtly cringing at the fact that she looks so much like his late ex-wife.

"M-M-My mother? W-W-Why? I m-mean, four months since she died and now you wanted to talk about her? My mother?! That's some stunt you are pulling, Dad!" Tara couldn't believe what she was hearing.

"Tara, I want to find out if you know about anything about your mother leaving you with something," Mr. Maclay didn't even flinch when Tara questioned him, with accusing glare, "like monetary funds or something like that?

Disgusted, Tara spat, "Dad, how could you do this to my mother? After these months, you wouldn't even let me go and visit her grave and now you are talking about money? You are actually insulting my mom even she is really gone!" Her stutter seemed as if it completely disappeared each time she spoke about her mother even when she is angry.

Mr. Maclay had enough of Tara talking back, stood up and backhanded Tara's face. Grabbing her temple in pain, she glared at her father and ran upstairs to her bedroom, hearing him shout, "You run away just like your mother always did! You are mama's girl as always and sometimes I wonder if you were really mine!"

Willow spent all the weekend, thinking about what happened that Friday night when Willow and Tara kissed. She even fought with herself whether she should hack into Sunnydale High's computer system to see if she could find Tara's phone number from its student directory. She decided not to do this when the issue of privacy popped in her mind, not that she doesn't care about privacy but when it came to Tara, she felt that she should have that kind of respect. Besides, if Tara wanted Willow to call, she would have easily called her and leave her number or something like that. She was looking forward seeing Tara again.

As the Monday morning rolled in, the sunlight shone through the window that Tara always left it open so she could breathe fresh air all night long. Its beam creeps across the floor to Tara's bed kissing Tara's face awakening her. Tara blinked her eyes, washing away the remains of residue the sleep has left behind. Her right hand rose to her cheek and found that it was slightly sore but there was no sign of visible bruise. She glanced at her alarm clock and it told her she was an hour early from her usual wake-up time. Tara turned onto her back and stared at the ceiling, allowing her thoughts roam around. “Willow…” Tara spoke when the thoughts were directing her to the gorgeous redhead. I can’t do this to Willow. I am falling for her and definitely don’t need to make things any more complicated than they already are. I hope Willow would understand these things I did last Friday was due to the demonic influence I was under. Tara thought with a heavy sigh. Nevertheless, one thing I am certain was that Willow can kiss! Oh Goddess, she is really something! Tara knew she couldn’t keep denying the fact Willow actually initiated that kiss at the school library. It was no spell that would have made Willow do this, Tara knew.

After lunch at Sunnydale High, Willow was struggling with her locker when it sometimes gets jammed until she finally pulled it open. There lays a folded note addressed to her. Willow looked around before taking the note, making sure she was alone before unfolding the note to read what’s inside. Her heart swelled when she realizes it was from Tara despite that she hasn’t seen her practically all day.

Dear Willow,

Just thought I would write you a note to tell you how sorry I am about last Friday. I know I should have done this in person but I couldn’t find the courage to do what I really want, apologize to you in person, it is. Umm…I’m thinking if you wouldn’t mind meeting me at the Espresso Pump after school and I could buy you coffee to make up for this apology note. You can just drop me a note at my locker. My locker # 314. Again, I’m so sorry. ~Tara Maclay

“Ooh, a note from Oz…how romantic and I didn’t know Oz is much a ‘trading notes’ person.” Buffy startled Willow, causing her to scrunch the note. “Jeez! You scared me!” Willow tried to smooth the note lessening the wrinkles across it before refolding. “Actually no, it’s not from Oz. It’s from Tara and I’m meeting her for coffee after school today.” Willow beamed.

Buffy was pondering about noticing something different with her redhead best friend and it hit her. Willow is in love, really in love. Sure Willow loves Oz but she couldn’t shake the feeling that was something else because the way she acts each time Tara Maclay was mentioned. She doesn’t even do that when it came to Oz. Even after two years of knowing Willow, Buffy has never seen her glow that bright. However, Buffy decided that she was just imagining it because of what she is feeling about Angel. She hasn’t gotten over killing Angel to save the world because she knew she would do it again.

“No, I already have plans after school.” Willow was telling Oz why she couldn’t go and watch Oz practice after school.

“What plans?” Oz asked, puzzled because after all the time they have been together, Willow would always come by just to listen to his band play.

“I am meeting Tara for coffee at Espresso Pump today.” For someone who was known to babble but Willow kept it simple and short.

“Alright, no problem.” Oz leaned towards to kiss her; Willow suddenly turned her head that his lips landed on her cheek.

“Umm, I’ll call you later okay, Oz” Willow closed her locker door and turned away towards her class leaving Oz watching his girlfriend go wondering what’s really going on with her.

“T-These are good, thank you for suggesting these.” Tara was dipping chocolate-dipped hazelnut biscotti in white chocolate mocha with Irish crème flavor shot.

“I know, you’re welcome and thank you for coffee but you didn’t have to. I mean, not everyone has the courage to come up and apologize for something they had no control over. You see, some people at school mistreated me and they knew what they were doing but yet they don’t even bother to apologize. It was like as if they have no conscience or something.” Willow babbled with a soft frown marring across her baby face. Tara couldn’t believe how cruel they were to this wonderful woman. Her heart actually reached for Willow. When Tara subconsciously reached for Willow’s hand, she began to allow her comforting energy flow into Willow. Willow never felt anything so soothing and it instantly calmed her.

“Wow.” Willow breathed, immediately got Tara to realize what she was doing.

Tara jerked her hand away, apologizing inversely, “I-I-I’m s-sorry. I shouldn’t have d-done that. I mean, I was feeling sad of what you were telling me about what you went through, these kids having no conscience a-a-and I wanted to comfort y-you but…” Tara trailed off when she saw that Willow was smiling.

“Tara, that’s all right and thank you, it means a lot that you were trying to comfort me and it indeed worked. It feels so magical when you did that.” Willow reassured.

“Umm...can I ask you something? Before I ask, you don’t have to answer if it is uncomfortable or that wasn’t any of my business-“

“Willow, you can ask me anything.” Tara interrupted with her half-smile, noticing that she found a comfortable way to stop Willow-babble.

“Do you do spells?” Willow asked hesitantly

“Yes, I do spells and I use elemental magic most of the time. Why? Do you want to try it with me sometimes?” Tara asked, hoping Willow would want to.

“Yes! I mean, I have tried some spells and they usually backfired. I can levitate things but that’s pretty much I can do now. Also I wanted to try more but Giles wouldn’t let me and he never told me why. I’m sure he has dabbed in some magicks otherwise he wouldn’t be nicknamed as Ripper.” Willow babbled while wondering about Giles and magicks.

Tara was beginning to enjoy every moment spent with Willow and hoped she would spend more in the future. Until she remembered that Willow has Oz and that remainder ached her already swelling heart. Willow instantly sensed the change in Tara. Tara mentally told herself that she couldn’t break Willow and Oz up and it wasn’t in her nature.

“Earth to Tara." Willow was waving at Tara’s face when she realized Tara didn’t respond when she first spoke her name. She smiled when she saw Tara respond. “Are you okay?”

“Huh? Y-Y-Yeah I’m okay. It was just…I-I was thinking,” Tara looked at Willow being all ears and looking back at her with undivided attention, “it’s not important.” Tara tried to smile.

“Are you sure you don’t want to talk about it?” Willow pleaded gently, not wanting to push Tara.

“Willow, I am sure and thank you.”

“Thank me for what? I haven’t done anything but babble.” Willow teased.

That made Tara burst into laughter. The sound of her laughter was so heavenly as if she was really an angel sent down only for Willow. To Willow, Tara is truly an angel. Willow knew she would always want to hear her laugh anytime. Her thoughts drifted to the memory chest that consisted of her dreams and recognized her dream lover was and is indeed Tara Maclay.

“Actually, I was thanking you for being just you.” Tara was looking into the green orbs and smiled sweetly.

That comment coming from Tara was very heart-melting and Willow decided to treasure that.

“Willow, do you still want to do some spells with me sometimes?” Tara asked, bringing Willow back to the reality from her thoughts.

“Yes, I would like that. So when can we do that, I mean we can do that right now. Oh, that’s too soon but I’m free to do that anytime you’re free. You see, all my homework assignments for next two weeks are done.” Willow finally stopped babbling when oxygen was becoming an issue.

Tara was giggling lightly when Willow finally stopped babbling, knowing how adorable Willow was.

“Hey, we c-could do after this if it is still what you would like?” Tara was looking into Willow eyes, waiting for her response.

“Sure, I’d like that.” Willow locking her green orbs onto the blue orbs. They were looking at each other, refusing to acknowledge each other that they are attracted to each other in fear…of course the ultimate rejection. They were so lost in each other for how long, they had no idea. It was like as if time doesn’t exist to them as long as they have each other. They didn’t see Oz watching them.

It's NC-17 as warned...

Chapter 7

A couple of weeks after their first attempt at doing some spells together, Tara was amazed at how quickly Willow was progressing. Willow was a quick learner and she made an excellent student out of herself, she was able to control her raw power after series of failed attempts and frustration. Willow couldn’t believe how patient Tara, her new teacher was. Tara was always encouraging and she would even send her comforting energy to decrease the climbing level of Willow’s frustration. Tara decided to teach Willow some joint spells, those ones that her mother taught Tara when she was pretty young. Nevertheless, she was warned by her mother that they are usually special if practiced with other witch. Even in the rarest opportunity, if two witches were soul mates, they could be able to feel everything down to their cells and they would combine the powers only the sorcerers of the highest levels would dream of.

I wonder if Willow is ready to do this with me but I can always ask. Tara thought, smiling at the thought of Willow being excited about new things she could try and practice.

At the parking lot at Sunnydale High, there stood Willow and Oz in slightly heated discussion. “Willow just that I haven’t seen much of you lately and I miss you.” Oz was trying to make a point without making this into a federal case.

“I know, but I have been busy with Scooby meetings, school and training with Tara. I mean, I am really getting the hang of the witchcraft and I am getting better because Tara was a wonderful teacher. Oh, did you know that Tara was able to tell that I did the curse, you know the one on Angel?” Willow seemed to lighten when the name of Tara rolled off her tongue.

When Oz didn’t respond so she continued, “It was unbelievable because I never told anyone but bam! Tara could tell by reading my aura. Tara is a very good witch and she is really powerful! She is way better than me!” Willow was praising Tara excitedly, oblivious to Oz tightening his jaws in jealousy.

Not that Willow was babbling about Tara was causing the reaction in usual stoic Oz but the fact that Willow was beaming about someone being better than she is. All those times Oz has learned about Willow, she was always insecure about herself and she usually has the urge to be the best at everything academically. Now she wasn’t even making a big deal about Tara being better than she is, especially in witchcraft.

“Listen, the Homecoming dance is coming up next week and I was wondering if you could go with me?” Oz asked with new hope filling in his eyes.

“Aren’t you playing at the dance?” Willow asked, curiously.

“Yeah, we’re playing but it doesn’t mean I’ll be gone from your side all night.” Oz smiled.

“Umm…sure, I’ll go with you.” Willow reluctantly gave in wishing that she would be spending the night of Homecoming doing spells and more witchcraft lessons with Tara.

“Cool! Please save me the last dance.” Oz leaned forward, quickly pressed his lips on her cheek, “I gotta go and meet up with Devon. See you later.” Taking his guitar case, slipped it on his shoulder then he looked back, waving at Willow before decreasing down the stairs.

Willow was looking at the empty space where Oz disappeared with a disappointed expression on her face but it didn’t last long until Tara came in her sight. The smile was already creeping across her lips.

“Hi Willow, how are you?” Tara smiled the lopsided smile which Willow decided it was one of her favorite things about Tara.

“I am okay but a little disappointed.” Willow explained.

“Disappointed? Is everything okay?” Tara was looking at Willow with concern.

“Yeah, just that Oz asked me to go to the Homecoming Dance next week and I told him, I could go but I didn’t really want to go.” Willow elaborated with a soft sigh.

“Oh... how come you don’t really want to go?” Tara questioned with an eyebrow raised.

“Uh…I just don’t want to but I didn’t want to disappoint Oz since I haven’t really spent time with him lately. You know, he is still my boyfriend,” boyfriend doesn’t feel right, sure Oz is my boyfriend but it doesn’t feel like it anymore, Willow paused, lost in thoughts until Tara touched her upper arm bringing her back to where she was. “You know what, we need to talk about something, and actually I want to talk to you about something that happened that Friday.” Willow got all of Tara’s attention.

“S-Sure, what about that Friday?” Tara asked nervously, knowing where it is leading to.

“You know…when we kissed.” Willow was looking at Tara hoping that she wasn’t offending Tara but it has been a while since that encounter and they never talked about it.

“Oh, umm…I don’t know what to say about this b-b-but now that you asked, I think I should be honest,” Willow knew she shouldn’t have asked for it and prepared herself to be crushed. “I liked it.”

“What?” Willow was too busy preparing herself for the worse and didn’t really paid attention to what Tara just said.

Tara looked down, taking a great interest on something on the black top, and spoke softly, “I said, I liked it.” Slowly looking up to meet the pools of green gazing back at her, at her surprise, Willow was smiling.

“B-But I don’t think we should do this again because you have Oz and I don’t want to break you up because of it. We c-c-could be friends.” Tara wished that she didn’t blurt out like that when she saw Willow’s smile disappear slowly. Her heart was already breaking repeatedly each time she was reminded that Willow is not hers to take.

“Sure... we could be friends…” Willow trailed off with obvious sorrow in her voice which didn’t go unnoticed by Tara.

“But can we still do spells because you are a wonderful teacher? Please will you still teach me and I have a lot to learn about Wicca.” Willow pleaded with hope written all over her face.

Tara smiled at that and spoke slowly, “Yes we can still do that. In fact, I came here looking for you to ask if you would like to try a joint spell with me someday.”

“What’s joint spell?” Willow asked excitedly.

“Oh, it would be better if I show you when we are able to do this.” Tara smiled lopsided grin.

“We could do this tonight, or something?” Willow couldn’t believe that Tara would be willing to teach her something new despite the talk.

“Sure, we could and I am free all night tonight but could we meet at your place because I don’t feel comfortable doing this at my Dad’s?

“Great! Actually, I was going to suggest that since my parents are out of town as usual. Would you like me to cook you dinner, actually I don’t really cook but I am an expert on take-outs?” Willow smiled her Willow-grin.

“Willow, you didn’t have to and I can pick up something for dinner but I could cook if you would like.”

“Tara, why are you being so wonderful to me? I mean, you can cook at my house and I have everything. They are practically brand new. Do you need me to make a run to the grocery store after school so you could-“Willow was already in full babble mode before she got interrupted.

“Actually, I will do that and you don’t need to go through all the trouble for me. I am only returning you the favor for helping me catch up. Allow me do this and I hope you will like what I cook for dinner. In fact, I better head to the supermarket about…” Tara raised her left wrist to glance at her watch and said,” pretty much right now.” Tara reached to squeeze Willow’s hand before heading to her chosen destination.

Willow watched Tara walk, slowly gazing her body and noticed how delicious her butt looked. Her butt! Oh Goddess, I am already lusting after her! I am a virgin, how the hell would I be able to have that that much lust! Need a cold shower! Definitely a very cold one! Her mind was messing around with her but Willow caught Tara glancing at her over her shoulder, waving at Willow and she smiled.

At the library, Buffy and Cordelia were bickering over who would win for Homecoming Queen Title. Willow tuned herself out of their senseless bickering and thought about Tara. “Willow!” Buffy and Cordelia said in unison.

“Huh?” Willow replied, looking away from her laptop to focus on two women who called for her.

“Who do you think should win the title of Homecoming queen? Me or her?” Cordelia and Buffy said at the same time, pointing their finger at themselves.

“Uh, umm… I am not sure but I am sure both of you would draw a tie. At least something to go down in the Sunnydale High history.” Willow said, hoping that they would just drop it right there.

“Tie?!” Both girls look back at each other and shook their heads, “I want it all!” They started bickering again leaving Willow itching to escape that ridiculous scenario.

“Hey?” Willow was trying to get the girls’ attention but to no avail and she tried again with slightly higher volume in her voice. “Hey!” They finally shut up long enough to look at Willow and they decided that Willow will actually tell who she thinks should win. Willow gave them a look that wasn’t what they thought it was.

“What’s up, Wills?” Buffy asked, slightly disappointed that Willow wouldn’t even decide who.

“Umm, I better get going and I am heading home.” Willow explained why she had to get their attention, gathering up her things and delicately put her laptop in its case as if it will explode anytime if not careful.

“Sure, want some company even when it’s not even dark out?” Buffy asked.

“Nah, but thanks Buffy… Please you kids be careful and stay out of trouble.” Willow looked at both of them knowing that they will still get back in that crazy bickering session. If there is one in WWF version, they will be perfect contenders. Willow giggled at that thought when she was sure that she was out of their earshot.

“Willow! Before you go, “Willow was almost at the door before Cordelia called out, turning back to them, Cordy almost forgot to ask Willow something about the Homecoming dance, no thanks to Buffy, “u got a dress?”

“Huh, a dress for?” Willow asked, confused.

“Duh! For Homecoming, you know the very first event you have ever been to ever since…umm, forever!” Cordy joked.

“Leave her alone!” Buffy scolded before turning to Willow to see what Willow was going to say.

“Actually, I haven’t but I will get around to that sometimes this week.” Willow said, wondering how the hell she didn’t invest that much into the event she has been wanting to go ever since she entered high school now that she is dating the musician.

“What?!” Both Cordy and Buffy gaped at Willow.

“That’s it! I am taking you to the mall tomorrow if you are free. You can’t even say no! Because I am not accepting no for the answer.” Buffy closed the gap between herself and Willow, not believing that her best friend, who has been dreaming about going to her first event that actually involved dancing, hasn’t gotten a dress.

“Okay okay okay… I will go to the mall after school with you tomorrow but really, I gotta get going. See ya!” Willow quickly hugged Buffy before heading out.

Ding dong! Ding dong!

“Oh hey! Come on in, oh let me help you!” Willow exclaimed, taking two plastic bags full of goodies.

“T-Thank you, Willow. How are you? I am sorry if I might have brought too much but I thought since you don’t cook and that your parents are out of town so I—“

“Tara, that’s so thoughtful of you!” Willow interrupted; her heart is so ready to explode with love filling in there.

Tara blushed and proceeded to the kitchen with Willow following close behind.

“You can just drop these on that, so lemme show you where everything is so you can get all familiarized.” Willow explaining where everything is, oblivious to Tara gazing all over Willow, despite her own reservations about Willow being unavailable. Tara was putting double efforts to keep herself from having her attraction for Willow become known and it was becoming too difficult, Tara knew.

So Tara took a few deep breaths and exhaled them very slowly before speaking, “Willow, can you do me a favor? Would you leave me alone in this room? I-I-I would like to cook something to surprise you.”

Willow was quite flabbergasted at this, first Tara apologized for something she had no control over and now she is cooking me the surprise dinner. What more does she really want because she definitely wanted Tara and she was already perfect.

“Can I?” Tara whispered.

“Uh... yeah yeah I am sorry, I spaced out for a second. Yes, I will leave you alone and I can go upstairs to do some hacking for Giles. Just holler at me when it’s ready okay.” Willow smiled her trademark grin, melting Tara’s heart before disappearing.

In Willow’s room, she was almost done with the assignment that Giles asked her to, the exotic but fulfilling aroma was snaking through her open door sneaking up into Willow’s nostrils.

“Hmm, I have never smelled something so satisfying!” Willow breathed in that delicious aroma.

That actually increased Willow’s curiosity, Willow tried to figure out what aroma actually belonged to. She knew what most common foods would smell like but she couldn’t put her finger on that smell that is so exotic. She was actually itching to sneak and take a peek into the kitchen but from that degree; she knew she could get caught because there is half open wall in the kitchen that anyone could easily see someone come down the stairs. Willow decided against that and waited patiently enjoying the smell.

“Willow, will u come with me?” Tara was smiling at Willow, standing in the door frame of her bedroom.

When they reached to the dining room, Willow couldn’t believe her eyes once they set on the steaming food lying all around the center of table. “Are you sure, you didn’t use any magic to make this so fantastic and they really smell so great?!” Willow gaped, making Tara blush even more.

“No, I didn’t but I always loved cooking and it is always comforting to me because each time I cook, I felt my mother’s presence around me.” Tara explained gently with a sweet smile.

“So will you tell me what’s on the menu?” Willow teased.

“Why, yes. I will tell you,” Tara was paying her back by flirting a little, “Okay, these are baked Bosc pears with hint of brown sugar with Muscat wine, they can be put on the mixed salad with cranberries but I would recommend you to try it. Grilled rosemary chicken breast with mushroom sauce, Pollyanna potatoes with a touch of garlic, asparagus with holladeraise sauce which is commonly known as lemon/butter sauce and finally, sweet dinner rolls that I have taken the liberty of using your grandmother’s recipe.” Tara face brightened up

“Tara, you took the liberty of using my grandmother’s recipe? They are my favorite! How? I mean, I never told you…” Willow knew she couldn’t take any more surprises but yet, craved for more. From that moment, she knew the famous saying, the best way to win one’s heart is through stomach is absolutely working.

“Thank you, Tara! Thank you, you didn’t really have to do this but thank you!” Willow hugged Tara, smelling sweet scents still clinging onto Tara.

Tara burst in gentle laughter, “Oh, please thank me after you actually have eaten.”

“Oh okay!” Willow sat down excited and waited until Tara joined her and they began the wonderful feast.

“Are you ready?” Tara was sitting in Indian-style opposite of Willow, holding out her hands waiting for Willow to get comfortable in the similar position as Tara before she could hold Tara’s hands.

Once their hands touched, they felt a very strong power surging through each other and they stayed there enjoying the sensation it was making before proceeding the joint spell.

As Tara started the incantation, something was happening that Tara wasn’t expecting since she have done this several times with her mother, she knew that she was linked with Willow but there was something else she wasn’t prepared for.

Looking into the green orbs, they were looking back at them with lust blending in with love. Please touch me, the one with greens spoke but the lips of the owner weren’t moving. The hand slowly slid between the naked bodies already intertwined, it was having an easy job seeking out its task since both bodies are sporting a film of perspiration. The fingers were already bathed in the essence of the owner of green eyes, before they would even spread the lips between her legs. Oh Goddess! Please! Her legs spreading wide, urging the fingers to go in further. Blue eyes gazing lovingly into green eyes. The fingers found the soft nub right above the wet and heated center, started to rub on it until it got hard before dipping the index finger in the love tunnel. Tara could feel the muscles inside tighten and pull her in. Tara allowed one finger slide in deep and got a soft moan from her green-eyed lover whose name is Willow. Added another finger when she felt Willow’s love tunnel is opening up to fit an additional finger before closing itself around them.

Goddess! More please! Tara lowered her head towards Willow and locked her lips onto hers. She felt Willow’s hands running through her hair, massaging her head while thrusting her tongue inside Tara, enjoying the sweet taste of Tara’s mouth. Tara began thrusting hard but gentle into Willow’s pussy and felt Willow riding herself on her fingers allowing Tara take Willow’s virginity knowing she can always trust Tara. Ooh! It felt so good! Please more! Tara knew Willow wasn’t thinking coherently because she is getting lost in Willow, feeling everything Willow was feeling. Her muscles were throbbing and tightening, craving for more. TAAAARA! WILLLOOOW!

Both Tara and Willow broke their link simultaneously looking so flushed, they couldn’t believe what they saw what they were thinking about.

“What was that?” Willow said breathlessly, amazed at how intense it was.

“I don’t know b-b-but it was our thoughts.” Tara was struggling to breathe at the same time, trying to get her arousal receded.

“Our thoughts?” Willow looked down at Tara’s hands; she knew how hot she was right now.

I like this fic, I like the tension you have built with Willow being unable to just deal with her reality and finally dump oz. Maybe this vision will give her a helping hand :grin .

Overall, great, it would be even better if you got a beta reader to help with some issues. Keep up the good work.

Chapter 8

“Willow!” Buffy startled Willow out of her reverie, glancing at Buffy.

“Sorry, but are you okay?” Buffy was holding a black dress with spaghetti straps in front of Willow and Willow seemed to be in some sort of trance.

“Yeah,” Willow shook her head to get the arousal images of herself and Tara out of her mind. “Yeah, actually I am okay but my mind was somewhere, I am sorry…I mean, I didn’t sleep very well last night.” Willow tried to smile.

“That’s all right...Hey, what do you say we raid the food court after we actually find you a dress? What do you think of this one?” Buffy again showed Willow the dress.

“Sure, but I really need some sugar and caffeine!” Willow exclaimed, glancing up and down at the chosen dress, taking it to the fitting room.

After a couple of hours of dress search, both Buffy and Willow finally found a dress that both of them thought it looked great on Willow. They are sitting at a table in the food court in the middle of Sunnydale Mall. Buffy was dipping a fry in Thai sweet and sour sauce, “I am really glad that we are getting some time spent together! Besides, I wanted to apologize for putting you in the position about the Homecoming Queen title, I know it was crazy but it was just Cordy getting on my nerves.” Buffy frowned, popped the fry in her mouth.

“Hmm, that sauce is really good! You ought to try it!” Buffy smacked her lips, urging her best friend to try it for herself.

“Okay, you are already forgiven but you didn’t have to apologize,” Willow picked a fry out of Buffy’s bowl of fries, dipped the sauce Buffy was indicating. “You know, Cordy is always like—mmm! You are right, it’s really good. Hold on that thought, I will get that for myself.” Willow was about to head for Hollywood Fries until Buffy grabbed her.

“What? Is that the right place to get this?” Willow looked down at Buffy, confused.

“No, let’s share this because I ordered a large one anyway, come on sit down and share it with me because I am eyeing that pistachio Italian gelato which, I definitely will get after we finish this.” Buffy explained with a smile.

“Oh okay!” Willow sat down and dived in for more enjoying the time she is spending with Buffy.

“Umm, Buffy… can I ask you something? You know, like personal” Willow asked, the talk about Cordelia was all forgotten.

“Sure, what’s up? Is everything okay?” Buffy grabbing her drink and drew a few long gulps.

“Hmm, how do you know if someone is really the one for you?” Willow was looking at Buffy hoping that she doesn’t have to explain every little detail but sometimes Buffy can be that dense.

“What is this? I mean, you are with Oz, I am sure you love him. So are you having doubts about him? Buffy was puzzled.

Willow wouldn’t let her question go unanswered so she repeated emphasizing that she wants that one to be answered before she could answer Buffy’s.

“Well…I am not sure but you know only one I had been with Angel and in a sense, I think he will always be the one. So now, I have answered, what about you?” Buffy asked with both eyebrows raised.

“Umm, I am not…I mean, I am not sure about Oz because there is someone else. I mean, it was pretty much unexpected. You know, it wasn’t what I was looking for. I—“

“Whoa! Hold it right there! Someone else, who?!” Buffy interrupted, her fries all abandoned.

Willow knew she shouldn’t have told Buffy but who would she turn to when she wants to talk about this. She would talk to Xander but Xander is too busy making goo eyes on Cordy.

“Just forget everything I said. Just forget it.” Willow shook her head, feeling defeated.

“Forget it? No way! Come on, look at me…I am Buffy Summers, your best friend. You can talk to me.” Buffy pleaded.

Willow looked at her best friend, deciding where to start without getting her freaked out. She decided to start from the very beginning but of course leaving out the link spell, not that she was embarrassed about it, and it was just because she wanted to keep it to herself. After she finished, Willow looked at Buffy, wondering what Buffy was going to say to this. Butterflies were already flapping their wings in Willow’s stomach.

“Oh!” Buffy was leaning back in her seat, with a surprise on her face. After the pause that seemed agonizing long for Willow but she couldn’t try to say something.

“Wow, it’s Tara Maclay? You mean, you you,” Buffy stammered slightly before clearing her throat so she could start again. “You are seeing Tara Maclay, for real?” Buffy asked, the shock still hasn’t worn off.

“Seeing Tara, yes and no. I mean, I see Tara for witchcraft training and she is a great friend and everything. I felt so connected to her, I mean in so many ways that I haven’t even imagined! It was so unlike when I was with Oz. I mean, sure, he is my boyfriend but you see, it was very powerful, even than what I have with Oz...” Willow babbled almost guiltily. “I could talk to Tara about anything without feeling any restriction; it was like she could read me without me saying a word.” Willow paused, “Buffy, I am falling in love with her. Jeez, it came out so gay than I expected but it’s not the issue. The point is that I am really falling so hard for her.” Willow finally let the breath she didn’t know she was holding out. Willow was fiddling with the paper napkin, waiting for Buffy to say something.

“Wow, that’s heavy! So what are u gonna do about Oz?” Buffy took a deep breath before continuing. “Willow, just go with what really makes you happy. I mean, your happiness is very important to me. Even if Tara makes you happy, I would say, go for it!” Buffy looked at Willow with understanding.

“W-Why are you being so cool about this? Not that I didn’t want you to be cool or anything like that but this wasn’t what I was expecting.” Willow groaned when she realized it was coming out differently than it sounded in her mind. “I mean, I should have expected something all positive since you are my best friend but I expected the worst. I am sorry and I shouldn’t have thought of that.” Willow went back to the already shredded paper napkin.

“Willow, look at me.” Willow glanced up to look at her confidant. “I am being cool about all this because you were cool about me and Angel. I mean, if I wasn’t cool about this while you were then I would be a hypocrite, I don’t really want that. You definitely don’t deserve having a best friend who is a hypocrite.” Buffy said seriously.

All the doubts of telling Buffy, slowly evaporated from Willow’s mind. Willow was very touched by her statement. She stood up and went over to Buffy, hugged her. Buffy smiled and hugged back.

“Thank you very much for saying that. That really meant a lot to me. Goddess, I really thought you wouldn’t be cool about this, you know, your best friend falling for a girl. I felt a lot of weight lift off my shoulders. Now, I know what I would have to do about Oz, oh no…I mean, there is this Homecoming dance next week, I told him I would go with him…” Willow trailed off already in full babble-mode.

“Willow, take a deep breath.” Buffy reassured.

Taking a couple of deep breaths, Willow asked Buffy what she should do about this. Buffy smiled and said, “Willow, what does your heart tells you? No no, don’t tell me that, tell that to yourself then from there, you will know what to do.” Buffy put her arm over Willow and squeezed affectionately. “Hey, what about this gelato ice cream?! They got Mocha flavor!” Buffy grinned, picking up the food tray and carried it to the nearest trash and dumped the remains of fries then put it on the top of the trash shelf. The best friends are walking and laughing together enjoying the rest of their get-together time.

*~*~*~*

“Hey Willster, can I stop by your house so I could try on my tuxedo and talk to you about getting Buffy and Cordy to patch up and get rid of that crazy competition sense out of them?” Xander asked Willow while they were walking down the hall heading to their next class.

“Sure thing, Xander, just swing by after school.” Willow smiled and waved at him before disappearing in the classroom.

Something caught Willow’s eye and it made her smile like a schoolgirl having a secret crush. The only thing that would make her smile that way, Tara Maclay.

“Hey Tara, how are you?” Willow brushed her hand on Tara’s shoulder, getting her to look up at her.

Tara sensed Willow way before she spoke to her. Her senses toward Willow are increasing and it is getting very powerful. She could sense her distress even if she is not even close to her in distance. Tara loved that feeling and it made her feel very connected to Willow. That made Tara smile until she felt the hand brush her shoulder. Tara looked up and her smile grew wider when her azure eyes met jade eyes.

“Hello Willow, I am pretty good…You?”

“Pretty good…” Willow breathed, refusing to take her eyes off Tara even after she heard the second bell, meaning she gotta be in seat all prepared for the lecture.

“Ms. Rosenberg, take a seat, will you?” Ms. Anderson said, opening the lecture notebook before starting the lecture to the class.

After the lecture, Ms. Anderson announced that they won’t be meeting in the classroom for next two weeks; they are to meet at the study hall to complete the project for the class starting tomorrow. Ms. Anderson paired off all students to work together. Willow and Tara were partners for the project which was absolutely great news for them. Willow was glad that she was paired with Tara because when she was paired with someone, she always ended up doing all the work because she didn’t want to get any less than an A. Once, she was paired with a clueless jock, that experience she would not rather to revisit if her hair was on fire.

Both Tara and Willow walked out of the classroom, discussing about the project, trying to come up with something creative. They were laughing about something Tara said until Oz called for Willow. Willow snapped her head to the source calling for her and her laughter disappeared instantly when she realized it was Oz who was calling for her. They stood there watching Oz running to close the gap between himself and the girls. Tara was about to walk away but Willow grabbed her arm, insisting that she stays.

“Willow, I am glad I caught you,” Oz was almost out of breath and glanced at Tara, “Hey Tara.” Looking back at Willow, “You still on for the dance?

“Umm, listen can we talk about this at lunch tomorrow?” Willow asked, hoping it wasn’t too obvious because Willow actually wanted to talk with Oz about the dance but she is meeting Xander at home.

Oz was quite confused because he heard something different about Willow’s tone in her voice. “Sure, we can do that tomorrow…” Oz trailed off. Honk! Honk! “Come on, Oz! We gotta get rolling!” Someone exclaimed.

“That’s Devon, sorry… see you tomorrow okay.” Oz turned away and ran towards to Devon’s van.

“Willow, are you okay?” Tara asked with concern in her voice.

“Yeah, I am going to break up with Oz.” Willow explained, her tone even.

“Break up with him? W-W-What about the dance?” Tara asked confusedly.

“I have decided that I don’t want to go even if it was something that I have been looking forward since my freshman year.” Willow resumed walking with Tara at her side.

At the front of Sunnydale High, they bid their farewell before separating their ways on way home. Willow was already lost in her thoughts and so was Tara. They are already thinking about the same thing, the link spell. They desperately wanted to talk more about this but they got sidetracked when they realized it was pretty late so Tara had to head home. Willow even had Buffy secretly watch out for Tara in case of any vampires, not that Willow thinks Tara couldn’t protect herself but she wouldn’t take that chance.

“So whatcha think?” Xander asked, in baby blue tuxedo, spinning around for Willow.

“Well...umm, which decade are we in?” Willow was looking at the tuxedo that was clearly popular in the 70’s but definitely a passé now.

“You don’t like it? Just give it to me straight.” Xander groaned, practically driving Willow to tell the truth even though they were best friends ever since kindergarten but Willow wouldn’t be that blunt.

“Xander,” Willow slowly shook her head, no. “It doesn’t’ look good and besides, what would Cordy think? You might think it’s not that bad but you would give Cordy a very premature heart attack.” Willow explained honestly.

“Yeah, you are right. But luckily, I got another one so I’ll be right back.” Xander disappeared to change.

Moments later, he exclaimed, “Ta-da! What about this one?!” He had his arms stretched out and spins around in black and white tuxedo.

“That’s much better!” Willow was nodding and giving him thumbs up.

“So u got a dress?” Xander asked excitedly.

“Yeah, I do but I don’t think I would want to go.” Willow said, without a hint of sadness in her voice.

“What?! Willow, come on! It’s our senior year, you know the very last year of high school. You practically wanted to go ever since you were a frosh!” Xander was surprised at his best friend.

“I just don’t want to go, that’s it.” Willow stood and walked to the window.

“Did Oz do something? If so, I will talk to him and have him experience the true wrath of best friend of his girlfriend.” Xander resolved.

“No! It has nothing to do with Oz, please don’t do that even for me.” Willow turned around and looked at Xander, really appreciating his protectiveness of her.

“Oh good, I mean, I wouldn’t want to get on his bad side, you know werewolf and all.” Xander smiled, feeling relieved but started again, “You see, I will still protect you if he ever tries to hurt you okay… He will get it from X-man.”

“Thanks Xander, I will take care of this on my own, okay.” Willow falling into Xander’s arms in embrace.

“You are always welcome, Willster. I gotta go and see you tomorrow okay… Sleep well.” Xander picking up his stuff and headed out. Xander doubled back and poked his head into Willow’s room and said, “We can do Buffy and Cordy thing tomorrow before school if you could meet me.”

“Sure and be careful getting home.” Willow replied.

*~*~*~*

“You are breaking up with me?” Oz was staring at Willow, disbelieving what he just heard.

“Oz, yeah I am breaking up with you. You see, things have been different lately. You have been focusing more on your music, not that I don’t like it but I really love to see that you pursue your dreams. As for mine, I have been practicing witchcraft and studying Wicca. I have to be very honest with you, Oz. I have found someone else that I felt very connected with and it was absolutely not what I was looking for, I couldn’t explain it.” Willow babbled.

“I see, is it,” Oz closed his eyes before resuming what he was going to say, “Is it that girl, Tara Maclay?”

Willow looked in Oz’s eyes, searching for some kind of rage building in him and she saw it. With a sigh, “Look, it has nothing to do with Tara; it’s entirely me and my feelings. I am sorry and I know that I will always care for you but I am not in love with you.” Willow spoke gently hoping that it wouldn’t make it any worse for both Willow and Oz.

“I see, so are you telling me that you are seeing Tara?” Oz was desperately keeping the rage under control but barely hanging in there.

“No, we are great friends but yes, I have developed feelings for her. Like I said before, I couldn’t explain—“Willow was interrupted by Oz’s hand telling her to stop.

“Please, don’t try to explain…I get it.” Oz said almost stoic.

“Oz? Are you okay?” Willow asked, making sure that her now ex boyfriend is still in check.

“Yeah, I am. Gotta go.” Oz turned away and walked down to his van. He suddenly turned around and said, “Don’t worry about the dance, you don’t have to go with me but don’t ditch it on my account okay.”

“Sure and thanks.” Willow watched Oz drive away, feeling bad at how it turned out but knew it was for the best.

In the study hall, there sat a blonde and a redhead in deep concentration on brainstorming for their project. They were oblivious to some students who were fooling around, their projects already abandoned. Both Tara and Willow finally came up with the theme of their project that they liked. They agreed that they could divide up some tasks so it would be time-effective that they would have their project all completed in a week instead of two weeks. Willow loved being partnered with Tara because she enjoyed Tara’s intelligence and would always melt each time Tara spoke as if she was a scholar. Tara has such gentleness dancing around her that made her impossible to appear as if she was someone capable of something vulgar.

“Tara? Can I tell you something that is really off the subject?” Willow asked quietly, making sure that no one but Tara could hear her.

“Sure, what is it?” Tara whispered, looking at Willow with full intent.

“I just broke up with Oz today.” Willow bit her lower lip.

“I am so sorry, but are you okay?” Tara brushed Willow’s shoulder.

“Don’t be, in fact I am feeling much better, you know. I mean, I didn’t feel right being with Oz, I mean it was right before but not now and there is someone else that I felt really connected with but I don’t know what I should do.” Willow babbled quietly.

Someone else? Tara thought with a new pain penetrating her heart but tried her best not to show it. “Well, you can simply tell him how you really feel about him.” Tara suggested.

Him? Who did Tara think I was talking about? Willow thought.

“Actually, that someone is sitting next to me.” Willow hinted with a smile.

Tara looked around and it hit her. It’s me! I am that someone sitting next to Willow. “Me?” Tara whispered and Willow could barely hear her.

“Yes doofus, it’s you.” Willow was smiling brightly.

“Wow, I-I-I gotta go and I h-have to go. I have an a-a-appointment.” Tara was clearly panicking and she did have an appointment to go to.

“Tara? What’s wrong?” Willow was dumbfounded and wished that she didn’t come on too strong.

“I-I-I will call you tonight okay?” Tara knew she was stuttering badly but she had to get out of there.

“Okay…” Willow stared at the door moments after Tara disappeared, hoping that she would double back but she never did.

Oh no, what have I done?! I practically freaked out when Willow confessed about her feelings for me. I have feelings for her but why is it too hard? It’s not fair. Willow didn’t deserve that, especially from me! But Willow didn’t know that I was about to kiss her right there in the study hall in front of our classmates! Tara thought, devastated.

*~*~*~*

“Ms. Tara Maclay?” The receptionist at the law firm, called for Tara to come in to meet the lawyer that her mother has been working with before she died. Tara jerked her head to the sound of her name.

“Yes, ma’am…it’s me Tara. I have uh, an appointment with Mr. Zachary Bell.”

“I know…He is ready for you, just go through the door and he is standing in the hallway waiting for you.” The receptionist said sweetly, holding the door for Tara to pass through.

“Hello Ms. Tara Maclay. You look so much like your mother. I am really sorry for your loss.” Mr. Bell directed her to sit down.

“Thank you, sir. I would like to tell you ahead of time, I don’t really know much about this legal stuff.” Tara said hesitantly.

“Don’t worry, I have everything already set up within your mother’s instructions. In fact, your mother truly has a keen sense of what she was doing and the monetary funds are in very excellent status. Now that you are already seventeen, I believe?” Tara nodded. “Okay then, all I need to do is to go over a few things with you just to prepare you, that’s just standard and also I am instructed to provide you some kind of transportation if you would need one.” Mr. Bell spoke professionally then looked up at Tara waiting patiently for her to respond.

“Transportation, like w-what?” Tara looked perplexed.

“I apologize, please allow me to clarify, I am speaking of a vehicle of your choice.” Mr. Bell answered quickly.

“Uh, no, I mean not right now… I don’t want my father or my brother to find out about this. If I had a car now and they would want to know where the money came from.” Tara explained sadly.

“That’s all right but let me reassure you that if you need it immediately later on, just give me a call and I will have it arranged for you.” The lawyer closing the folder, smiling warmly at Tara.

“T-T-Thank you, sir. I better be heading home.” Tara stood up and the lawyer stood up and thanked her for coming in, opened the door to let Tara go out.

Tara got home after half an hour walking home. She knew no one was home at that hour and they would be home in a couple of hours or so. She was relieved that they weren’t home so she ran upstairs to call Willow. But excitement was short-lived when Willow’s machine answered. She knew it was her fault for bolting off like that but she left a message.

“Willow, it’s me, Tara and—“

“Tara?!” Willow picked up the phone; clearly she was screening the phone calls hoping Tara would call like she said she would.

“Hi, Willow…C-C-Can I see you, about right now?” Tara barely whispered over the phone.

“Yes, come on over, I want to see you too.”

“See you in 20 minutes then.” Tara announced.

Tara is coming over here! So whatever I said didn’t freak her out. Oh oh, got 20 minutes… should I change? Should I tidy up the room? It was mind-boggling for Willow who couldn’t decide to do first before Tara comes over.

Ding Dong! Ding Dong!

“Hello Willow.” Tara breathed, rolling her name as if she was savoring the best wine ever made, entering the Casa de Rosenberg.

Both Willow and Tara are standing a foot away from each other, gazing into each other’s eyes, smiling nervously. Moments have passed, not one word was uttered.

“Uh…umm…I-I-I wanted to tell you that I didn’t mean to freak out after what you told me earlier today. I know it has taken a lot of courage to do this.” Tara finally broke the silence.

“That’s okay, I mean I would have freaked out if I didn’t know what I was going to say if it was under different circumstances. But it doesn’t matter now,” Willow reached for her arm and allowed her hand to slide down until it landed Tara’s hand and spoke again. “I wanted to tell you that you had nothing to do with my break up with Oz, in case you are wondering.”

Tara could feel Willow’s thumb rubbing the back of her hand and it was quite unnerving. “I-I am glad that I had nothing to do with this because I don’t know what I would do if I did.” Tara whispered, looking away from Willow’s exquisite eyes, and felt a drop of tear rivulet down her right cheek. Willow caught the tear before Tara would wipe it off, when she did that, she closed the gap between them. When she wiped the tear, she spoke very softly, “Please don’t cry. You have done nothing but were a great friend and a wonderful teacher.” Willow gazed at Tara’s full lips then looked up to let her get lost in the pools of blue. Before they knew what was happening, they were kissing, finally letting the barriers fall away. It began innocently and the passion was already adding more fuel to its fire. Willow abandoned Tara’s hand and held Tara’s head, couldn’t get enough of the sweetest taste of Tara’s lips. Tara wanted more of Willow by wrapping her arms around Willow’s small waist pulling her close, finally feeling her body against hers. Willow parted her lips to invite Tara’s tongue to explore her more intimately. Tara immediately took the invitation and thrust her tongue inside, she almost gasped when she felt Willow suck gently on her tongue. She has never known that she loved having her tongue sucked especially by that gorgeous redhead. She silently thanked Willow for having her discover something new about herself.

When the oxygen was already overdue, they reluctantly broke away but they stayed in each other’s embrace, looking at each other noticing the red-hot passion dancing around them.

“Wow…” Willow said almost breathlessly.

“Yes, you are right, it’s more than wow.” Tara smiled, already blushing.

“Umm, we shouldn’t do this in here and we could be more comfortable upstairs in my bedroom.” Willow suggested with a grin.

“Okay.” Tara agreed, allowing Willow lead her upstairs.

Once they reached to Willow’s bedroom, Willow hurriedly locked her bedroom door before turning back to Tara. She threw her arms around Tara’s neck and crushed her lips onto Tara desperately trying to reinitiate the earlier passion downstairs.

“Sweetie, please…” Tara stopped Willow, already aching when she saw sorrow starting to show in Willow’s face, “We don’t have to rush, we can take it slow if you want to. I wouldn’t be going anywhere if you wanted it slow.” Tara tried to reassure Willow.

Willow smiled when she realized Tara called her sweetie and nodded allowing Tara take the hold of the reins this time. This time, Tara closed the gap between their lips and reconnected with their passion again. Tara made an invitation for Willow to explore her mouth which Willow gladly took. Their tongues were making a duet in Tara’s mouth creating the music only they could hear and take it to their hearts.

The images appeared in their minds like it happened when they did the link spell but this time, they are kissing.

Tara was straddling on the small of Willow’s back, divinely rubbing all over Willow’s back, making Willow moan happily and kissing everywhere her hands touched. Willow could feel the wetness pooling on her back from where Tara was rubbing herself on. Willow wanted to turn onto her back so she could look at her naked lover hovering over her, letting her essence drip all over her tummy so she had her want granted. Tara was looking down, rubbing Willow’s torso. Tara teasingly avoided Willow’s small globes with rose nipples but already erected screaming for attention of Tara’s expert hands.

“I see you are already hot!” Tara leaned forward, letting her breasts brush Willow’s, getting a soft whimper out of Willow then Tara went upwards to grab Willow’s delicious ear lobe to nibble and suck still making sure her breasts are still in contact with Willow’s. Willow gasped, disbelieving how talented her lover was being, she couldn’t stop herself from moaning slightly too loud for her own taste but she didn’t care. Her arousal was getting too much for Willow to handle and Tara knew because she already memorized Willow’s body language by heart.

Willow slowly slide her hand up to Tara’s thigh until she reached to the golden curls already damp and slipped beneath Tara’s wet pussy looking for Tara’s sensitive jewel. Tara gasped when Willow found it and Willow grinned, began to rub it to harden. Willow enjoyed watching Tara trying to rub herself more but Willow decided to pay her back for teasing her. She stopped, getting a whimper out of Tara.

“Please!” Tara begged, staring at Willow full of lust swimming in her dark blue eyes.

Willow knew she will never deny what Tara wanted. As soon as she started again, she gasped when both hands lightly squeezed her breasts and kneading them. Willow began rubbing her clit hard; enjoying the sensation Tara was giving her through her breasts. Tara moved onto the already hard nipples and played with them, drawing several loud moans below. They knew they are both very close and they longed it as much as they could before their climaxes explode together.

When they broke apart, they said in unison, “That was incredible!”

“We were actually making love in our minds!” Willow exclaimed, feeling deeply aroused.

“We were.” Tara agreed, feeling equally aroused.

This one is NC-17.. Enjoy!

Chapter 9a

At Willow’s locker, she got a note from Tara and she smiled while unfolding it to read it.

Willow,

I thought about dropping you a note to brighten your day today. I thought we could get some lunch together off campus. From what I have heard, we the seniors are allowed to go off campus for lunch. I really hope it’s true! *smile* There is this new quick serve deli store that opened a few days ago and I thought we could give it a try. Lemme know when we meet at the quad at lunch and besides I got a free period afterwards. Gotta drop this in your locker. *winks*

Yours,

Tara

Yours? Willow’s heart swelled at that word. Tara is mine already? Things are definitely going very good. Very good. Willow was grinning so much that some students were already gawking at her as if she got the biggest secret that they felt they should know about. The biggest secret is that Willow is planning to ask Tara to go the dance with her.

In class, Willow felt as if she was there forever and the clock wasn’t even moving at all. She glanced at the clock every 30 seconds and she could have sworn that the hand up there hasn’t even moved. When bell finally rang for lunch, Willow thought she has prayed for a miracle until she looked up at the clock and the reality hit her and the hand did move. She giggled to herself at that thought.

Going down the stairs leading to the quad towards Tara who was already engrossed in a textbook and Willow loved the sight of her studying while most of kids are either fooling around or forming in cliques heading for the cafeteria. Willow decided to be a little bit sneaky and lowered herself behind Tara, a little surprised that Tara didn’t even stir. “Tara…” Willow said sultry letting her breath brush Tara’s ear and she would see her ear twitch a little. When Tara turned to face Willow with her trademark half-smile and breathed, “Willow.” Willow smiled, struggling to resist the overwhelming temptation of leaning down to kiss Tara’s lips that she has already fallen in love with the way they feel against her own.

“Ready to go? Do you have class afterwards since I got a free period?” Tara asked, gathering her school stuff.

“Good news, I don’t have class to teach since my class is on some kind of field trip for other class.” Willow told Tara excitedly.

“You teach?” Tara never thought a student was allowed to teach a class.

“Yeah, it’s a long story and maybe I can tell you all about it over lunch?” Willow smiled her Willow-grin.

“Okay sweetie and I would love to hear all about it. Just that I have never met a real student who actually teaches a real class even in high school.”

“Yeah, but it’s a little sad though, but thought I would prepare you for that.”

With Tara so engrossed in Willow’s story, their table was littered with empty sandwich wrappers and half-empty water bottles. Tara couldn’t believe how much Willow has been through and besides, Sunnydale was not much the city Tara was accustomed to living when she was living with her mother. Tara’s parents divorced when she was a child and her father and Donny moved to Sunnydale since it was cheaper to live while Tara remained in San Diego with her mother.

“Angelus actually killed Ms. Jenny Calendar?! Is that why you had to do this curse to return the soul to Angel.” Tara asked bewitched.

“Yup, you got it.” Willow nodded, taking a sip from her water bottle. “So Snyder the worm, you know the principal asked me to teach her class because he couldn’t find a replacement that quickly and I was the only one who has the highest marks in computer science. So here I am, the new replacement.” Willow ended with a smile.

“Willow, thank you for sharing this with me, it must be painful to talk about it, really. I will tell you mine when we have another lunch like this or something like that.” Tara reached across the table for Willow’s hand and rubbed it lovingly.

“Umm…come here.” Willow urged Tara to come forward at the same time, pulling Tara’s hand. Willow grabbed Tara’s head and gently pulled her close to her own then placed a lingering kiss on Tara’s lips.

Willow slowly pulled back, grinning while basking in sensation from the result of her boldness leaving Tara struggling to catch a breath.

“Whooa! What a kiss!” Tara blurted unintentionally, still breathless.

Willow giggled at Tara’s sudden outburst and spoke, “We should head back to school.” Willow winked at Tara seductively.

“Yeah, we should.” Tara finally found her ability to breathe again, clearing the table while Willow already grabbed both of their bottles so they could finish them on their walk back.

*~*~*~*

A cute brunette came at the table where Tara and Willow were sitting, and spoke to Willow but eyeing Tara, noticing how cute the blonde was. “Can you explain about the section number 6 for the project because I am not sure if I really understand this?”

“Sure I can explain that. It’s simple really...” Willow noticed that the brunette was looking at Tara as if she was trying to undress her. Willow saw that Tara was oblivious that she was the object of that brunette’s desire. “Vanessa, please get your head out of the gutter. I can’t explain something while your head is not screwed in properly.” Willow said with mock authority.

“Oh sorry, yeah what were you saying?” Vanessa stammered, knowing that she got caught red-handed.

Tara was stifling a giggle when she heard what Willow said then turned her head to look at Willow after Vanessa departed their table. “Why did you say that?” Tara was already giggling.

“Hey, I had to! She was undressing you with her eyes!” Willow whispered.

That made Tara’s eyes go wide, “No, she didn’t!”

“Yes, she did! I wasn’t even imagining this.” Willow was also giggling, feeling strange because she wasn’t even threatened by Vanessa as if Tara somehow made sure that she was Willow’s, only Willow’s.

“Hey! We are almost done, all we have left to do is to put them all in together. Do you want to type or do the graphics?” Willow questioned, organizing everything in proper order.

“I will do the graphics and I have the program at home.” Tara replied, scribbling the mini post-its and put them on the sections that need to be transformed in graphics.

The final bell for the day rang; the students were already heading for the doors. The study hall was already deserted but Willow and Tara remained. Tara decided to try something so bold, she looked around to make sure they are really alone and caught both of Willow’s shoulders, turned her around so she was facing Tara. “What, what are you doing?”

Willow was surprised and she was already sitting on the table then Tara got in between of her legs. Tara didn’t say anything which made Willow very excited, cupping Willow’s face and lightly brushed her lips with her tongue before pressing them onto Willow’s. They were desperately trying to get inside of each other. Finally, Tara broke the kiss but not literally…She had Willow’s lower lip trapped between her teeth, she slowly sucked and nibbled on it, making Willow get so lost in ecstasy.

There my payback is paid off. Tara thought mischievously, when she saw that Willow was trying to catch a breath.

“Mmmm! I-I lwked tphat wery moch.” Willow was stammering incoherently.

That made Tara burst in light laughter and kissed Willow again to pull her back to herself again.

As they passed the lockers and they noticed a fresh dent on the side of the edge of the lockers. They shrugged at it and assumed it was caused by those mindless jocks fooling around with each other. What they didn’t know was that Oz was just passing by and looked in the window of the door; he saw Tara and Willow kissing when he saw that Willow was breathless. Jealousy was getting the best of him when he realized that he never made Willow go like that. When he saw Tara kiss her again, he growled silently. He abruptly turned around, walked down the hall angrily and slammed his fist on the edge of lockers along the way.

Slamming the driver’s door, the sound of it echoed around Oz. He slammed flat handed onto the steering wheel before gripping it. ‘I can’t believe this! My girlfriend left me for that girl! What does that girl have that I don’t? Oz thought, leaning forward to rest his forehead on the top of steering wheel and sighed heavily. As soon he recomposed himself, he lifted his head in time to see Tara and Willow walking together heading for home. ‘I will find a way to get Willow back.’ Oz thought overconfidently. As he pulled away from the parking lot, there stood a figure watching, grinning evilly.

Chapter 9b

Sometimes in the early twentieth century.

The ship’s horn was blaring as a warning it is leaving the dock, carrying thousands of people from all ranges of class statuses. People were waving, some waved with handkerchiefs and confetti was raining down all over the dock. At the upper deck of the ship, stood a sad-looking but very exquisite redhead dressed in cream corseted dress. There were some soft silk tailored in the top of her dress torso that made her small breasts appear slightly bigger. Her slightly dark red hair that shone like red fire when the sunlight was marrying the color of her hair, its length was at the middle of her back, and it was loosely but elegantly curled. Her glove-clad hands resting on the well varnished wooden banister and her deep emerald greens scanning the endless waters, feeling the breeze kissing all over her unclothed skin.

“Lady O’Grady, May I interest you some snack?” A clean-cut young man wearing white top and black pants, sporting shiny black shoes, asked politely.

Turning away from the waters, she looked up and down at the young man, deciding quickly that he was indeed a waiter.

“No but thank you, sir.” She replied equally polite.

“Madam, we will be having supper not long from now. We will also have dancing afterwards. Would you like to have someone accompany you to the dining room?”

“Thank you, sir. And no, thank you, I already have someone who will accompany me to the dinner this evening.” The redhead bowed her head before turning back to her own world.

“You are welcome, Lady O’Grady.” The waiter whispered before turning away.

As the horn blared indicating the guests to head for the dining room for dinner. Lady O’Grady was being led by a blond haired man until they spotted her name sophisticatedly handwritten on small folded paper. “Madam, here is your seat and enjoy your dinner.” The young man whispered, pulling the seat and motioned her to sit.

“Thank you, Charles.” She gladly took the seat giving him a simple smile.

As the dinner was served, she was enjoying the food and decided that they employed very good chefs. Even though it was her first time being on the ship, heading for America. She was feeling lonely because she couldn’t strike up some conservation with other ladies when she found that they might be rich but they are clueless. As if their only job was to look fantastic and keep their noses clean. When dancing was taken place following the dinner, she turned down a few dancing requests until she got a little fed up and decided to take the request reluctantly. When she and her dancing partner reached to the dancing floor and she heard the most beautiful voice singing.

Her green eyes were scanning around the ballroom looking for the source of the beautiful voice until she found a drop dead gorgeous woman in blue dress with blue rhinestones all over. She gasped, covering her red lips with her bare hand to avoid her partner from hearing her. She couldn’t take her eyes off her, the blue dress hugging the curvy body and the light was making her dress sparkle gently when she moves her hips. When her eyes gaze upwards, she could see the cleavage of smooth creamy breasts being held as prisoners in that dress. Her hair was deep golden blonde and she had an unusual silver barrette in the left side of her head that matched perfectly with the color of her dress. Her left hand was caressing across her lower torso while her right hand was holding the microphone. Her lips were so close to it as if they were about to kiss the metallic object sending her exotic voice out to the ballroom. She gasped again when she saw her eyes, they were the bluest and it has a lot of gentleness resting behind them. She felt as if she was hypnotized by the singing woman.

“Isn’t she good?” The voice interrupted her hypnosis.

“Yes, she is quite breathtaking.” She commented, feeling strange.

“Shall we dance?” The young man asked.

“Certainly, Nicholas.” She allowed him to take the lead.

As they danced, she couldn’t take her eyes off the singing woman. She felt as if for a nanosecond she looks away, the gorgeous blue eyed woman will disappear forever.

“Beautiful, isn’t she?” The man asked her when he noticed that she never met his eyes the entire time they were dancing.

“Yes, what,” She cleared her throat before trying again, “What is her name?”

“Oh, the singing madam’s name is Tara Jefferson straight from England.” The man said, seemingly proud to have that information ready for that beautiful redhead.

“Tara Jefferson?” The redhead savored her name in her tongue before letting it roll off. There was something that the redhead didn’t know that she was already noticed by Tara the moment she entered the ballroom.

Glancing all over the dancing floor, watching the dancing couples waltzing around having a wonderful time. Tara has always loved singing on the stage knowing she is sharing her gift selflessly. When she closed her eyes to allow the band’s version of music flow through her body before going onto the next verse, she opened her eyes and something was washing over her, something very powerful. She knew she has another gift besides her singing. In came the most extraordinary redhead being accompanied by a very good looking dark-haired young man she has ever seen. She began to sing, keeping her eyes on the redhead, watching every move she made. Taking in every detail of her, she could feel the arousal creeping in her voice and she successfully masked it by lowering her voice allowing it blend in with the band.

When Tara saw that the object of her desire was already staring at her and she expertly wriggled her hips very slowly and seducing her never to take her emerald eyes off her. The moment the deepest ocean blue eyes locked onto the sparkling emerald eyes, Tara’s lips slowly upturned into a sexy smirk. The next thing Tara knew, she was singing directly to the redhead.

“Madam, are you all right?” The man asked, slightly worried because his dancing partner seemed so caught up with the singing woman.

“Yes, I am quite all right and thank you.” The redhead finally responded after few moments.

The man decided to do something that he never does, which was to warn her about Tara. “Madam Tara might be exquisitely beautiful but steer clear of her. She is not what she seems.” He said seriously.

“Why would I steer myself clear of this magnificent singer?” Willow asked her voice full of curiosity.

“Because she is not married and,” The man glanced at Tara and whispered, “the rumors have it that she always turn down all suitors asking for her hand and she might be a witch.” The way he said the word, witch with full of venom.

“Sir, I am perfectly capable to take care of myself and I do not appreciate your taking the liberty to think that I am weak of some sort.” The redhead was glaring with tight lips clearly offended. “Do I make myself clear?”

It hit the nerves, the man cleared his throat nervously and bowed his head several times, “Yes, clear as crystal. Madam, I apologize for offending you.” He turned away, disbelieving what happened and it never happened to him before, never. He was too accustomed to women falling at his shoes with his charms. He could have sworn that he almost urinate his own pants in fear simply by her glaring green eyes.

As the redhead watched the man walks away in disgust before turning her head towards the stage and found Tara walking slowly as if she was on catwalk towards her. The sight of this was very arousing for the redhead. She couldn’t do anything but absorbing the seducing sight. When Tara reached to the redhead, she allowed her eyes creep from the bottom memorizing every detail of the beautiful woman in front of her until she met the green eyes. Tara could see the power dancing around the redhead’s aura.

“Hello gorgeous.” Tara spoke sultry, her eyes penetrating the pools of green.

“Hello, you sang marvelously.” The redhead managed to get the sentence out coherently.

“Thank you, your name?” Tara asked, sending her seductive energy towards her.

“Willow O’Grady but everybody calls me Lady O’Grady and I really prefer to be called just Willow. The title is just for business purposes.” Willow explained, relieved that she is finally striking up the conservation with this blue eyed goddess.

“Tara Jefferson, here… May I give you a compliment for having such beautiful name?” Tara asked with eyes full of tease.

“My name? I never thought of it as beautiful and I was told that I was named Willow because my mother was having a difficult labor when she was pregnant with me and the first thing she saw was the Willow Tree when she was thinking about what to name me.” Willow babbled slightly.

Tara cocked her head to the right side, her face questioning before speaking, “Are you by any chance, Irish?”

“Yes, you are right and in fact, I was born in Scotland when my parents were traveling there on business from Northern Ireland. I grew up in Ireland until I am on this ship heading for America.” Willow said with soft sigh after she mentioned about her trip to America.

“You do not sound so happy about going to America?” Tara asked, sensing her distress.

Willow looked up at Tara, giving her a warm smile then decided to ask if she would like to continue this conservation in her first class suite room. Not that she was embarrassed about conserving deeply with Tara in the side of the ballroom. She simply wanted some privacy and shies herself away from those men waiting anxiously and their intention was clear which was to ask the stunning redhead to dance.

“Willow, I would like to let you know that my room is only a few doors down from yours.” Tara said when they reached to Willow’s room, pointing the specific door that indicated her room.

“That is quite convenient for me!” Willow said excitedly.

Seeing Willow getting all excited, so childlike. Tara couldn’t believe how elegantly Willow has presented herself but yet, she is a kid at heart.

As they disappeared in the room, there was a figure standing in the hallway, he could smell the powers in both of them but he knew that their powers will not come in full unless they made love. He had the plan to try and break up the soul mates that are destined to be together for all eternality. He must have his plan fulfilled because once their powers get combined and they can destroy him completely. As he turned away to head out to the bar, when he got to the bar nook, he sat down and requested for scotch. When his request was filled, he tipped the bartender before grabbing his drink and went to the back of the room so he could have the full sight of everything going around him. A newcomer, a red-haired young man, barely out of teenage years came through the door, clearly heading towards to the circle of people sitting at the table. He took it that they were either his friends or simply business associates but he doesn’t care and he wanted him to be his pawn in his plan. He finished his scotch in a long and single gulp then delicately put the glass down so he could not attract anyone. As he passed the newcomer, he was waiting out of the door waiting expectantly until that newcomer followed him.

“Hello Daniel, how are you?” The man smirked.

“How did you know my name?” Daniel asked puzzled

“Shut up, Daniel. Once I tell you what you are to do, you are to forget that you have ever met me.”

“Okay.” Daniel said mindlessly.

*~*~*~*

Willow and Tara stayed all night, talking about their lives and their traveling. Willow was already absorbed in Tara’s overflowing energy and she even found it very sexual. Also she enjoyed Tara’s true intelligence and from what she has observed along the ship, Tara has the rarest knowledge of a lot of things. As for Tara, she enjoyed Willow’s childlike enthusiasm and she was quite bewitched with the way Willow embrace practically everything with words.

When the horn blared indicating it’s time for breakfast and Tara stood up and said, “I have to go back to my room and get some sleep. Would you like to meet for late lunch, I would arrange to have the food brought up to my room and we could eat together there?” Tara asked hopeful.

“Yes, I will be delighted to!” Willow replied quickly.

As Tara was about to reach the door knob, Willow couldn’t resist her urge to grab Tara, gently of course. Tara gasped at the touch when she felt the energy surge at contact then looked up from her arm into Willow’s eyes and found something that actually made her heart swell. Willow leaned forward and brushed her lips against Tara’s smooth cheek.

“What was that for?” Tara asked, giving her a shy smile.

“That was for singing to me last night.” Willow smirked.

Willow managed to get few hours of sleep after tossing around because she couldn’t stop thinking about Tara. Willow took her time luxuriating herself in the shower before dressing for lunch engagement with Tara. When she opened her door and saw a young man standing there as if he was waiting for her. She frowned slightly at the sight. “Hello sir?” She asked, after deciding that he is not a waiter.

“Madam O’Grady, my name is Daniel Thomas, may I delight you to lunch today?” the red haired man, tilted his head showing his respect.

“I am quite flattered but I will have to decline but thank you.” Willow politely turned down the strange man’s request before heading for Tara’s room.

“Madam? What about dinner?” Daniel tried again but no avail.

‘Damn, it’s time for phase two. Willow is already awestruck of Tara. Let’s hope this one will work this time.’ The man thought when he watched Willow decline his pawn’s request.

A few days later, Willow and Tara were becoming very close and enjoyed every moment of spending time together. Willow finally had series of laughter and the sadness was washed away. Until Willow remembered that she will be stuck in business engagement for a week on the other side of the ship. Her stay for the business was already arranged by her business manager. “Tara?” Willow spoke with a drop of sadness in her voice. “Yes, Willow…what is it that is making you sad?” Tara’s eyes piercing Willow’s.

“I have to be on the other side of the ship for business for a week and I wish very much I would invite you along but I am not allowed to. I am leaving after dinner.” Willow explained, feeling devastated because a week away from Tara was too much to take in.

“Willow, I will be here when you return.” Tara smiled taking Willow’s hand discreetly and led her back to her room. As she closed the door shut, Tara turned around to face Willow. She could sense Willow’s nervousness until she washed away the distance between them. Tara delicately cupped Willow’s face and brought her close to hers. Her lips gently touched Willow’s. It was the softest lips Willow have ever felt against her lips as if the kiss was made only for gods and goddesses in their own heaven. Moments after lingering, Tara parted her lips to allow her tongue brush along Willow’s lips, savoring its taste. Instinctively, Willow parted her lips to allow her in, she gasped when she felt Tara’s tongue meet hers. Her heart was already singing. They kissed deeply as if they are actually giving life in each other. Willow felt something new below there, wetness starting to pool between her legs. The kiss was unbelievably arousing. Willow knew she wanted Tara all to herself. Tara knew she needed all of Willow. Until they felt very lightheaded due to lack of oxygen, they reluctantly broke away but they didn’t realize they were already locked in their arms so they stayed, gazing in each other, drinking the combined energy into their souls.

A week later, Willow was practically running back to her suite room with several bell boys carrying her luggage trying to keep up with her. As soon as she opened the door and motioned them to put the luggage, she spotted an envelope on the floor, picked it up with a smile on her face. After she has sent the bell boys off, she opened it, pulled out the stationery, and unfolded. Her smile turned into a grin and held the letter so close to her heart and sighed lovingly. ‘I am going to tell Tara Jefferson that I love her. I hope it is not too soon but it felt so right.’ Willow thought.

Daniel was looking at the strange vial in his hand, “What is this?” questioning the man who put it in his hand.

“This is the essence, someone’s essence to be specific.” The man replied with flat tone.

“What do I do with this?” Daniel asked in wonder.

“Just sprinkle the whole vial over yourself. People will see you as Daniel but this dazzling redhead will see you differently. Make a dinner request to her again. You are to forget that you have ever met me.” The man waved his hand across Daniel’s face.

As Daniel sprinkled the vial onto himself as instructed, he felt nothing for a moment until he felt something tingling but after that, he felt like himself. He smiled to himself, seeking out for that stunning redhead. He truly believed in love at the first sight because when he saw Lady O’Grady, he felt as if his heart would burst out of his ribs.

Willow was deciding what to wear to surprise Tara; she was feeling all giddy while she was recounting their wonderful and first kiss. When she was about to reach for the dress, there was a knock at her door. Puzzled, she walked to the door and opened the door. She smiled instantly when she saw Tara looking at her. Daniel’s knees almost buckled when he saw the redhead smile so lovingly.

“Madam O’Grady, may I delight you to dinner this evening?” Daniel said in Tara’s voice.

Something was not right because Willow knew Tara would only call her Willow, not Madam O’Grady so she shook it off when she saw several people passing by and thought Tara was being polite. “Yes, I would be very delighted to. Just give me a few more minutes and thank you.” Willow smiled adoringly before closing the door.

When the door opened, Willow stepped out and clad in light green dress, bringing out her eyes. “What do you think?” Willow asked when she saw Tara staring at her without saying a word.

“You look so beautiful. Madam O’Grady.” Daniel breathed. So he offered his hand so he can escort the dazzling redhead to the dining room.

“Thank you, you look beautiful too.” Willow was excited at Tara’s boldness of offering her hand to her. As they walked together, several people looked at them and whispered, “Wow, they look wonderful together.” Willow heard them and smiled brightly.

They reached to the dining room and Daniel was smiling conceitedly when he noticed some men were glaring at him in jealousy and a man walked by and uttered, “You are a very lucky man. I would have sold my soul to the devil just to have her.”

Tara was waiting for Willow to stop by her room after the dinner was brought up to her room. She was growing worried after long moments have passed. Tara decided to step out and look for Willow in her room. She knocked on the door, several times and received no answer. Tara opened her knocking hand and pressed the palm against it, letting it slide down the door before departing away sadly. ‘I do not know why Willow did not meet me at my room. I was so sure she would. I was going to tell her that I love her. What if the week away for business have changed Willow somehow? It cannot be, I felt our connection and I know she felt it too.’ Tara thought her tears on verge to flow.

“Would you like to dance with me?” Daniel asked soothingly in Tara’s voice, standing up with offered hand.

“Here? Are you certain?” Willow asked, still not believing Tara’s boldness.

“Yes, but are you?” Daniel asked, smiling making Tara’s blues sparkle.

“Yes, I would love to.” Taking Daniel’s hand and allowed him to lead her into the ballroom.

Willow decided to shake off her nervousness because she never danced with a woman so she allowed herself fall in place and allowed Tara to lead her. As they waltzed around the ballroom, turning many heads and Willow never felt so alive. The music faded away and it was time to retire for the night. Daniel felt as if he was the happiest man on the earth. He took Willow back to her room and was surprised to find Willow’s lips pressed against his. He couldn’t believe what was happening and decided to go with the flow. As soon as Willow breathed Tara’s name, it hit him so hard. He stepped away and Willow blinked her eyes, wondering what happened. “Tara? Are you okay?”

“Tara? You think I am Tara? My name is Daniel. We had dinner and we danced together.” Daniel spoke almost harshly

“Stop this! What are you doing, Tara?” Willow looked so hurt.

“I am sorry, Madam O’Grady but it does not matter now because I love you.” Daniel spoke in Tara’s voice.

“Tara, why do you keep calling me Madam O’Grady, you can call me Willow?” Willow asked, confusion getting the best of her.

“Willow!” Tara was running barefoot towards Willow and this unfamiliar red haired man.

Willow jerked her head towards running Tara then turned back to the Tara she thought she was talking a moment before and she saw Tara changing to the red-haired young man named Daniel Thomas. The spell was broken. “My gosh! What are you?!” Willow exclaimed, directing her question towards Daniel. When Daniel didn’t respond, Willow stepped away from him and grabbed Tara. “Stay away from me!” Willow hissed at Daniel before opening the door and pulled Tara inside.

“Willow? What is matter with you?” Tara asked almost frightened and concern for Willow.

“Tara, I do not know what happened but something evil is happening.” Willow was looking everywhere but Tara’s blues.

“I know, Willow… That is why I am here on this ship.” Tara said almost cryptically.

“What do you mean? I do not understand any of this.” Willow was pacing frantically.

“Listen, there is a demon right here on this ship but I do not know what it looks like but I can only sense its evil presence but this demon have somehow disoriented himself from my sensor.” Tara explained slowly.

“Oh…” Willow said softly.

“Willow, I am very sorry that I did not tell you about this the first time we met but I enjoyed spending my time with you and getting to know you better.” Tara explained apologetically.

“That’s okay, Tara. I understand but I would want to hear more about this later on but I have something to tell you. We are arriving to New York in America in less a week and…”Willow trailed off when she realized Tara was looking at her and she could tell Tara wanted to say something too. “Tara, I am falling in love with you. I know it is so sudden, I have never felt so connected with you from the moment I have laid my eyes on you and I knew I wanted you right away.” Willow grabbed both Tara’s hands and brought them to her lips, kissed every digit on her soft hands.

Tara stared at Willow, feeling the wonderful sensation passing through her body from the electricity passing from Willow’s lips then she pulled her hands with Willow’s still holding them till their bodies were close. Tara tilted her head towards Willow’s head, claimed Willow’s lips guiding Willow’s hands to her face, and felt them cup her jaw. Her hands slide down Willow’s arms down to her hips, wrapping them and pulled her body against hers. Tara began to caress the small of Willow’s slim back, Willow gasped softly in response and gently probing her tongue asking for invitation into Tara’s which she gladly gave. Their tongues were dueling for superiority but enjoying every moment of it. Willow wanted more but did not know what to do next and decided to go with her instincts. Willow broke away from Tara but held Tara’s head, she was gazing adoringly into Tara’s eyes, her left hand began its new journey down Tara’s torso and when it reached to her cleavage, she whispered, “May I?”

Tara was already lost in Willow, almost didn’t hear what she said and she couldn’t trust herself to say anything but nodded her head in response. Willow smiled shyly, reached around Tara’s back in search for the zipper, found it then pulled it downward until the dress came down loosely, revealing pale lilac bra with matching underwear. Willow took a small step backward to take all this astonishing sight. Tara closed her eyes, allowing Willow paint this into her memory. Willow came back to her original position and her left hand resumed its journey until it reached to Tara’s valley then gently brushed Tara’s right breast. She could see the nipple beginning to fight its way through the satin cup of its bra. Her right hand followed the steps of the left hand, landing onto the left breast, gave the same attention as the right. Willow has never seen anything so beautiful as this and she still couldn’t believe she is actually touching the divine being.

“Please, Willow” Tara said thickly, her blues already darken with arousal.

Willow looked up at Tara and looked around for a chair so she could sit Tara down. “Come on.” Willow was motioning her to sit down and Tara was glad that she was now sitting because she was afraid that she couldn’t stand up any longer not when her breasts were getting impressive attention from Willow. Willow kneeled down and opened Tara’s legs so she could slide until her things are on her sides. Willow leaned forward and put her lips on satin-clad nipple of her left breast, got a gasp from Tara’s mouth, circled it with her tongue wetting it before moving onto the other one and gave it the equal attention.

Tara couldn’t take this sweet torture anymore and she swiftly took her bra off finally freeing her ample breasts from its confinement. Willow gulped and reached for them with her hands, she began to knead them and flicker deep rose colored but already erected nipples. It was quite agonizing for Tara but she loved every moment of it when she knew it was truly Willow’s first time. Willow moved forward, closing her eyes when she wrapped her lips around the right nipple, began to suck gently sending incredible feeling through Tara. Tara began to caress the redhead’s silk hair, urging her on. Willow was already in love with Tara’s body and silently made a vow to herself and to Tara that if they ever got lost, she will find her.

“Another…” Tara barely got that out but couldn’t finish what she wanted to say but was already relieved when Willow moved onto her another nipple. Tara was already in heaven and beyond. She looked down to watch Willow giving her the mind-blowing pleasure. Tara was already missing the sweet taste of Willow’s mouth, she pulled Willow’s face up to hers and thrust her tongue in hers and they were kissing passionately. Tara’s hands were caressing Willow’s torso that she decided that she was too overdressed for this, she broke away only long enough to strip Willow down to her panties because Willow wasn’t wearing any bra which Tara smiled at this. They were already laying together intertwined on Willow’s queen bed, hands caressing all over each other, lips touching everywhere they could reach. Willow decided to be bold despite the fact it was her first time, she snaked her left hand down to Tara’s covered pussy and gasped at how wet Tara was and knew she was likewise wet, herself.

Tara spread her legs wider to grant more access for Willowhand, then looked at Willow when she sensed her hesitate and whispered, “That is okay, go on and touch me, you won’t hurt me.” Willow exhaled slowly and hooked her fingers at Tara’s waistband, pulled it down her sculptured legs and stared at glistening lips surrounded with soft golden curls in awe. ‘Tara is absolutely exquisite’ Willow thought. Her fingers gently slide across her slit, her honey already covering her digits, she brought them close to her face, breathed the exotic aroma of its essence then to Tara’s surprise, she suck each finger, savoring the flavor of Tara’s nectar.

Tara was very turned on watching Willow; she could feel her pussy screaming for attention but still wanted Willow to take her time. Willow loved the taste of her and began exploring the new terrority, when she felt hard but yet smooth numb, decided it was the clitoris the most sensitive part of sex organ. She began to rub at it until Tara began to buck her hips, wanting more then she noticed the way the sweet center was flowing more of its essence. Willow wanted the essence to coat her fingers again so she probed her finger inside, got a loud moan out of Tara’s lips. Willow could feel her muscles wrapping themselves onto Willow’s finger. She loved the new feeling on her finger and began to thrust in her slowly and gently.

When Tara wanted more of Willow inside, her hand joined Willow’s and guided her to add another finger, heard Willow gasp breathlessly then they began to set in their own rhythm. Willow watched every move Tara was making, each move turns Willow on and she quickly took one of her nipples and suck while fucking her gently. Tara was taking all in at once, enjoying every moment of it, her hands caressing Willow’s smooth back, encouraging her to keep going. Willow was slowing her thrusting so she could explore the sweet center and she felt something rough inside and when she rubs on it to feel its texture. Tara moaned deeply when she felt Willow touching her sweet spot and Willow knew Tara liked it so much and kept on rubbing on it, putting some pressure on it. Tara was moving wildly; Willow was trying to keep up with her movement and doing pretty well there until she accidentally brushed her engorged clit with her thumb. Tara grabbed the pillow and screamed into it muffling the noise. Tara collapsed limply, her body glistening with sweat while Willow looked on, feeling so amazed then she looked down at her essence covered hand. ‘I made her feel so good and it is so amazing.’ Willow thought, while licking her hand clean.

“Come here, my love.” Tara was motioning Willow to come closer and embraced the slim redhead who just made her feel so incredible.

“You are beautiful.” Willow kissed Tara, allowing Tara to taste herself on her lips.

“Yes, you made it so beautiful.” Tara whispered between kisses.

“So did you.” Willow placed soft kisses all over Tara’s face, brushing away her damp hair from her face.

“Not yet, allow me make this beautiful for you.” Tara spoke, gently moving Willow onto her back. Tara slides her hands all over Willow’s chest before resting them on Willow’s warm globes. Wetting her lips before pressing them against Willow’s skin, tracing her fingers all over her sun-kissed freckles and when she saw that Willow’s eyes were closed. Tara smiled at that, and then she gently took one of her carnation pink nipples, circled it with her tongue before closing it with her lips, began to suck, drawing a long moan out of Willow. Willow opened her legs without thinking which Tara was more than glad to lay herself between them, resting her stomach against Willow’s crotch. Tara was taking her time luxuriating herself on those lovely breasts that seem to demand for her undivided attention.

Slowly, her hands were sliding down until they reached to the waistband of pale green panties and stopped waiting to be granted permission to slip it off her legs. Tara brought it to her nose, breathed in sweet but very ripe and smiled when she noticed how damp it was. Willow was watching adoringly at Tara, feeling strangely comfortable being exposed completely to Tara knowing that she could trust her even when she is in the state of vulnerability. She gasped when Tara began her journey with her lips from her stomach to her crotch. Tara playfully ran her fingers through soft red curls, sending some tingling sensation through Willow’s nerves. Tara was kissing all over the curls, tickling her face then she tenderly parted the glistening lips revealing its pearl before placing a light kiss on it. Willow moaned delightfully, she has heard endless stories of how heavens can be but they are already paled by this incredible feeling. Willow spread her legs making her clitoris stand out looking for those lips that made the contact for the very first time. Tara kissed it again, slowly sticking her tongue out and lick the nub. ‘Goddess! This is better than any heaven!’ Willow was dazed, swimming in the pool of ecstasy. Tara set her rhythmic pace on pleasuring Willow. Something was happening; something feels so impossibly good was surging through Willow. Willow loved the feeling; in fact she was already being addicted to wonderful feeling. Willow screamed Tara’s name, Tara loved hearing her name being called out in pure ecstasy but she wasn’t finished making it beautiful for Willow. She allowed her ride out her very first orgasm before she claimed her again, this time she was focusing on Willow’s syrupy center; she began by licking all of her slit from her anus before kissing the rosy jewel. Tara felt Willow’s hands creeping into her hair before softly massaging her head. The feeling of it was quite rewarding for Tara then she resumed her task, pleasing Willow again. Her tongue lightly licked at the tight hole until it opens, she probed it inside gently and her moan was muffled when the muscles inside were trying to pull her tongue inside.

“Are you ready?” Tara gently spoke. Willow barely said, “Please don’t stop…” rubbing herself onto Tara’s mouth. Tara slowly slides her finger inside until it is safe enough to begin thrusting in and out. ‘Goddess, it felt so amazing, Tara is so amazing! Tara! Tara! Tara!’ Willow thought, feeling as if she was floating. “More!” Willow whimpered and Tara immediately added second finger but probed in the same way as the first one. They finally set their rhythmic pace, Willow was more than loving every second of it until she got a surprise, she is being fucked and having her clit sucked at the same time. The explosion was white-hot and Tara knew Willow was about to scream, quickly covered her mouth on Willow’s, swallowing her scream, still thrusting her to ride her out. As soon as her fingers were out, Tara immediately took Willow into her arms and held her until she stopped shaking, kissing Willow’s head.

“You were wonderful and you didn’t just make it beautiful, it was more than anything I could ever describe.” Willow finally managed to get a full sentence out. “You know, I am getting sleepy and could you stay with me, please?” Willow asked sleepily.

Before Tara could respond, Willow was already asleep and she gently pulled the covers over them. Willow snuggled closer and put her head on Tara’s twin pillows. Tara decided to hum the song she loved so much and knew Willow could hear it even asleep.

Dream lover come rescue me

Take me up take me down

Take me anywhere you want to baby now

I need you so desperately

Won't you please come around

'Cause I wanna share forever with you baby

I don't want another pretender

To disillusion me one more time

Whispering words of forever

Playing with my mind

I need someone to hold on to

The kind of love that won't fly away

I just want someone to belong to

Everyday of my life

Always

So come and take me away

Tara kissed the top of Willow’s head after she finished humming.

‘No! No! I can’t believe this is happening! I could feel their powers coming to their fullest. Damn! They will sense me once their powers awaken. I have to do something before they would destroy me. Then I have to kill them all!’ The demon screamed silently.

Chapter 10a

Tara and Willow spent few days in either of their rooms making love and they only parted when Tara had to go to the ballroom to sing. Willow didn’t mind this because she could enjoy dinner secretly looking at Tara enjoying her dinner. After everyone retires for the night, they would get back to their passionate lovemaking. After a few minutes of whispering ‘I love you’s, they would discuss their plans once they reach America. Until this night, it was different, both Willow and Tara knew but they couldn’t explain the nagging feeling. Willow decided to dress herself in the robe that Tara lent to her, loving its slight large size. Tara also dressed in other robe and went outside. They were only few feet away from the ship’s porch overseeing the waters and watched the sun set. All of sudden, Willow saw something strange happening in the sky, the flashing black clouds were swarming across the gentle sky at its supernatural speed. “Tara, is that normal?” Willow whispered, still gazing up and Tara looked up also and gasped.

“Oh no! That’s not normal!” Tara screamed when heavy winds were blowing, making the waves moving against the ship, causing it to shift left and right. The rain water were already pouring heavily, screams were heard all over the ship, the sound of wet footsteps running around in panic.

“Oh Goddess, what is happening?!” Willow screamed, trying to hold onto Tara, refusing to let her go.

“I do not know! But I am sure of one thing, it’s the evil.” Tara was holding onto the rail and running, dragging Willow along with her. She was very scared, not for herself, but for Willow. Tara was desperately trying to think which spell to stop this and she knew she couldn’t use dark magicks because it was clear that was the work of dark magicks. Once one used the dark magicks, it will make the previous spell’s strength even stronger. No matter how one was incantated, if it is associated with the dark magicks, it will still make it stronger. But time was already running out.

Tara finally got the right spell and she realized that both of their powers were awaken, she sensed the demon’s presence then started to channel its energy towards it. Tara looked into Willow’s eyes making sure that they are the last thing she will ever remember. She mouthed, “I love you, Willow O’Grady.” Willow said loud enough that Tara could hear her clearly, “I love you too, Tara Jefferson, I will always find you, that's a promise!” They embraced quickly and kissed for a moment before Tara pulled away and closed her eyes to begin incantation. Tara only got few words out before she was grabbed by her shoulders causing her to drop Willow’s hand, and before she knew what was happening, she was thrown overboard. “Willlllooow!” Tara’s screams fading away when she disappeared in black waters.

“Tara! Tara!” Willow screamed, preparing to jump overboard after her but she was grabbed from behind and she turned to see the man who threw her soul mate overboard, holding her across her stomach. “Madam O’Grady, are you all right? I had to throw her overboard because she is a witch.” Daniel said, with water dripping all over his face, holding onto the rail keeping his balance in check. As soon as he put Willow down, Willow began to fight against him, scratching his face with her short but well manicured nails. “You bastard! You killed Tara!” Willow screamed. Daniel was dumfounded, trying to stop Willow from going at his face any further. He tried again, “Madam O’Grady, I love you and I will have you safe!”

“I don’t love you! I love Tara!” Willow screamed again, this time she scratched across Daniel’s left eye which he yelled in pain, stumbling down and Willow jumped overboard after Tara.

Willow bolted in cold sweat, and then looked around her surroundings, breathing hard. ‘I have the weirdest dream, it felt so real.’ Willow thought before glancing at her alarm clock and it reads 3:19 AM.

At Maclays’ house, *soft thud* Tara was laying on the floor after she fell off her bed which was unusual for her. Tara was so grateful that her father and Donny are such heavy sleepers. She was gasping for breath and she couldn’t shake the feeling that the dream she just had was so real. She decided to talk to Willow to find out if she might had the same dream like hers because she saw some images of them making love in her dream as the ones that both Willow and Tara saw during their link spell and when they first kissed. Tara couldn’t wait until later so she grabbed her phone and thanked herself that she already had Willow’s number on speed-dial. She sighed with relief that she heard Willow’s voice after the first ring. They said, “I need to talk to you!” in unison. Tara insisted that she went first because she was the one who called. After they talked, they found that they were actually lovers in past life about 80 years ago. They went back to sleep after Willow offered to do some research on this when they turn in their completed project so they don’t have to meet in study hall that they can go to the library instead.

*~*~*~*

“Good morning, my love!” Willow spoke, carrying two cups from Espresso Pump in a paper two-cup holder.

“Good morning to you too, sweetie. Oh you got us some coffee,” Tara accepting the offered cup, taking a sip before speaking again. “Hmm, French Vanilla with hint of cinnamon, it’s good and thanks. By the way, how did you sleep after, you know we got off phone?” Tara asked, tucking her fallen blonde hair behind her left hair, her eyes on Willow.

“Yup, mocha for me!” Willow exclaimed proudly. “Actually I slept just all right and I was thinking we could turn in our project to Miss Anderson right we go to lunch, besides she got a free period before lunch and she usually would be in her classroom preparing stuff for her other classes, so whatcha think?” Willow finally stopped babbling to take another sip of her mocha.

Tara smiled at Willow babbling and thought it was endearing. “T-T-That would be great. I-I’ll meet you at your locker after my trig.” Tara agreed.

At the library, Giles was sitting on the stairs, an open book in his hand, reading as if he was searching for something in particular until the door swung open making him look up.

“Hello Willow and Tara. How are you two today?” Giles greeted.

“Hey Giles, don’t be too polite…Just be yourself, but since you asked, I am good!” Willow teased.

“Oh good lord!” Giles rolled his eyes, smiling slightly.

“Good afternoon, Mr. Giles.” Tara gave him a shy smile.

Giles felt touched by the way Tara called him Mr. Giles.

“Good afternoon to you too, Tara.” Giles pushed himself up and brushed some dust that sprinkled on from the book off his pants.

“Hey, we are doing some research, something demon-y. Is that okay with you?” Willow asked, taking out her laptop.

“Oh, can I help?” Giles asked, with curious eyes.

“Umm, if we got stumped or something, I will ask and it is sort of personal. Is that okay with you?” Willow said with hesitation.

“That is quite all right. I will be in the office okay.” Giles was pointing to where he is going.

“Hmm…hmm…that’s really interesting, I mean how come I never heard anything about this when we study world history…I mean I have heard tons stories about Titanic and others but not this one and besides, there is something strange about that ship.” Willow was babbling seriously, scrolling down the information in her laptop with Tara looking on.

“Willow?”

“Hmm, what’s it sweetie?” Willow replied, her eyes still on the screen.

“Don’t you think it’s time to ask Mr. Giles about this, I mean umm, since he is from England and he might have know something about this.” Tara suggested carefully.

“Hmm, I agree… Giles!”

“Willow, what’s wrong?” Giles reappeared from his office; rapidly wiping his shirt which he accidentally spilled some of his tea, thanks to Willow.

When it dawned on Giles that Willow was only calling him out and said, “Willow, I am not bloody deaf.” He frowned, walking over to the table where the girls were sitting.

“Sorry Giles, didn’t know I startled you.” Willow tried to look innocent.

“Mr. Giles, do you know anything about this cruise ship, The Divine Majesty that came down about 80 years ago?” Tara asked.

“Yes, I have.” Giles spoke, almost a whisper, paling slightly.

“Are you okay, Giles?” Willow asked, looking up at him.

Giles was somewhat dazed by the information and he never thought he would hear about the legend of The Divine Majesty again ever since he was a young lad. The first time he heard about it was the first year of his Ripper days. Until he realized someone was calling his name. He shook it out of his mind.

“I am sorry, so again yes I have heard about this story a long time ago and I remember that story very well. It was quite legendary, yes.” Giles said almost cryptically.

“Mr. Giles, can you explain more about this? The information Willow just pulled up is not enough.” Tara asked, hopeful.

“Certainly, I think there was some kind of evil that had to do with its terrible tragedy.” Giles was trying to explain, at the same time he wasn’t sure where to start.

“That’s what we suspected, so what’s the whole story if you can tell us?” Willow asked, looking intently at Giles.

“You see, the peculiar thing about that ship was that there were no survivors and it was adrift. It actually came back to England, no captain, not even a shipmate as if it brought itself to England itself…” Giles trailed off and heard the girls catch a breath then continued. “It did show some signs that it went through some kind of fierce storm but they should be some survivors if they actually got to the lifeboats. However, they are still intact on The Divine Majesty, meaning that no one ever came out alive to tell what exactly happened on that ship.” Giles paused, looking at the girls, still listening intently then continued.

“There were thousands of corpses scattered all over the ship, most of them were already badly decomposed due to excessive water. We were sure that everyone was dead more than a few weeks before the ship somehow got itself back to England. I remember something about the log book and something didn’t match up because the captain put in the last log saying it was beautiful out and they were only a day before they could reach America. Nevertheless, all bodies were identified by their relatives and some friends however, there were two young women that were missing. They were very important people or something such like this.” Giles stopped and excused himself to refresh his tea because he knew he will be telling a long story, hopefully to shed some light to the mystery. When he returned, he sat back comfortably and continued.

“As I recall, my father told me the story about Duke O’Grady, a famous businessman, I emphasize, very famous but very wealthy. It happened about 60 years ago, when my father was young right before he was called in to train for the Watcher’s Council. My father heard about this infamous businessman, Duke O’Grady and about him giving up everything in search for his only daughter when he discovered that she was gone missing. As you see, he invested every penny he had in this search because his daughter was the only family he got after his wife died a couple of years before he sent his daughter to America on business. After he discovered that he will never see his daughter again, he simply went insane, claiming that there was evil that did this to his daughter. Of course, the Watcher’s Council took that seriously but kept themselves discreet so they couldn’t be discovered by the public. So they sent several investigators trained for this kind of thing to the ship and they discovered the evidence that there was indeed, a demon who did this. This demon went by several names, it can morph itself into a human but only the powerful witches could sense its presence. The demon was there on that ship so he could eat their essences or their souls. That ship was like carrying endless supply of drug for him. However, like I mentioned before, something was not right because from what they discovered about this demon, he does not need to call on any dark magicks but something must have ticked him off like, I believe…fear.” Giles concluded, drinking the lukewarm remains of his tea.

“Wow, the demon was feared?” Willow asked, still not believing about the part of demon being feared of something.

“Yes, I believe so. Why were you two researching on this? Is that for some sort of project for your history?” Giles directed his questions to the two girls.

Tara and Willow looked at each other, silently agreeing that they should fill Giles in. As they filled Giles in about their dream, of course leaving out details of their past lives’ intimacy and looked at Giles, pondering what he thought of what they have just explained.

“That is quite interesting. Are you certain that you two have met before in other lifetime?” Giles implied, with genuine surprise on his face.

“Let me prove this, you didn’t tell me the name of Duke O’Grady’s daughter.” Willow put up her hand to silence Giles when Giles was about to say her name. “Her name was Willow O’Grady; sometimes everyone would call her Lady O’Grady, the only heiress of O’Grady’s fortune. She was sent to America to do expand her family’s business but she never made it and the other missing person was—“Willow was interrupted by Giles saying, “Yes, it was Duchess Tara, she was quite a legendary all over England that time even though Tara was only in her earliest of twenties.”

Both Tara and Willow were staring at Giles, all bewitched.

“Now that you two must be the reincarnation of Lady Willow O’Grady and Duchess Tara of Wales, sometimes she would go by just Tara Jefferson. It is highly possible that the demon is looking for you two. I will do some research on this demon and hopefully I could be able to obtain some description of this demon. I will ring you when I gather the data. How does this sound to you, two?” Giles suggested helpfully.

“It sounds good. But I am planning to go the Bronze to spend some time with the gang, you know.” Willow said, with Tara looking at her slightly confused.

“Excellent, I can just leave a message if you are not home when I ring.” Giles stood up and walked the girls to the door.

As the girls left the library, seeing that the hallways were already deserted, Willow turned around, facing Tara, “Hmm, would you like to go to the Bronze with me tonight, if you aren’t busy?” Willow gazing into Tara’s blues, hoping Tara would say yes which Tara just did. Willow smiled, claiming Tara’s lips; they lingered for a few moments before they parted their lips to allow their tongues get reacquainted. They were keeping themselves in check and they were somewhat conscious of where they are until Willow broke the kiss, resting her forehead against Tara’s. Willow whispered, “I have something to ask you, I know it is such on a short notice but I thought since we know how we feel about each other and I know we are not official a couple, not yet…I want to ask you something, and you don’t have to answer right away but—“Tara stopped Willow’s whisper-babble with her lips against hers. “Willow, what is it you wanted to ask?” Tara smiled her famous lopsided grin.

“Wouldyougotothedancewithme?” Willow said quickly, looking down nervously.

“Yes, I would.”

“What, what? You said yes?” Willow asked, not trusting her ears. Tara nodded, still smiling and her blues twinkling.

“I know it is two nights away but I already have a dress because I was planning to go there solo and now it is even nicer to have someone at your side.” Tara stepped closer, intertwining her hand into Willow, bringing their hands to her lips so she could kiss Willow’s fingers.

Willow was taking in pleasure of their intimate closeness right in the middle of deserted hallway at Sunnydale High and she made a vow to herself that she will always cherish this moment.

“Willow?” Tara’s soft voice spoke, gently taking Willow out of her reverie.

“Yes, Tara?” Willow breathed.

“Aren’t you going home and change so you could go to the Bronze?” Tara asked.

“Actually, I was going to ask you to walk me home and will you walk me home unless you have something planned at home? Oh, if you need to change, I can go home alone.”

“I thought you would never ask. Besides, I am fine with my clothes for tonight.” Tara grinned sweetly, leading the way.

*~*~*~*

“Hey Willow and Tara!” Buffy was waving at them to come over to the table.

Willow and Tara stole a glance at each other, wondering at Buffy’s enthusiasm then giggled at their secret.

As soon as they sat down, Buffy whispered, “how are you two?” wearing the smile that any casting agents would be knocking at her door for all the toothpaste commercials.

Tara was blushing lightly, smiling shyly and Willow could sense Tara’s nervousness and took her hand, stroking it to calm her.

“We are good but not official…not yet but I hope we will be soon.” Willow said, looking at Tara with adoration.

“You two look so cute, together. Not that I am saying you and Oz...” Buffy trailed off, mentally smacking herself.

“No, that’s okay. Just that Tara and I have this connection that I never had with anyone else, not even Oz.” Willow explained with a soft smile, still stroking Tara’s hand.

“M-M-Me too, I mean I never had this connection with anyone until I met Willow.” Tara finally spoke up.

“That’s great! I am so happy for you guys!” Buffy stood up and walked around the table to give both girls a big hug.

“Hmm, where’s Xander?” Willow was looking around for him.

“Xander will be coming in little later, he said he got something to take care for the Homecoming thing, I guess.” Buffy said.

Turning to Tara, Willow hesitantly asked, “Would u like to get all groovy?”

“Sure, come on… It would be fun.”

Buffy decided to get her grooves down and enjoy herself. When Willow and Tara got in the rhythm with the beat, Willow burst in laughter, telling Tara to look behind her. When she did, Buffy were already sandwiched by two cute guys but making sure that both of them weren’t too close to her.

“Whoa! Now Buffy is getting all the fun she is so overdue of!” Xander was dancing towards the girls.

“Hey Xander! Yeah, I agree!” Willow was bobbing her head.

They all danced, having so much fun until Willow was feeling dehydrated and told Tara that she will be getting something to drink and offered her one which Tara accepted, asking for water.

“I will be right back, my love.” Willow kissed Tara’s cheek, tasting faint sweat on her lips.

“Two bottles of water, please.” Willow signaled to the bartender.

“Gotcha! One min.” The bartender acknowledged Willow.

“Hey Willow…how’s it going?” The voice startled Willow, making her turn around to see who was talking to her.

“Hey Oz, how are you? Aren’t you playing tonight?” Willow asked politely.

“No, not tonight so I thought you could be here tonight so I came.” Oz slipped onto the barstool next to the standing Willow.

“What do you mean? You came here ‘cuz I would be here.” Willow asked, feeling a little uncomfortable.

“Yeah, is that okay? I just miss you, that’s all.” Oz was taking Willow’s right hand and squeezing it gently.

Withdrawing her hand, Willow asked again, “What’s going on? I thought we are not seeing each other.”

Before Oz could answer, the bartender set down the ice cold water bottles in front of Willow and told her it’s on house. “Thanks, Greg.” Willow thanked the bartender, wrapping her hands around the bottles.

“Hey, who is the second bottle for?” Oz questioned.

“Why are you acting like this?” Willow frowned at her ex boyfriend.

“I am sorry, I shouldn’t have asked you that. I know we are not together but I was just curious, that’s all. I am sorry, okay Willow?” Oz pleaded for Willow to accept his apology.

“That’s okay, I better get this to Tara okay… It’s good to see you. Hey, you know you are still a Scooby, so don’t be a stranger please.” Willow smiled before disappearing.

‘I have no plans to be a stranger at all. I want you back.’ Oz thought before sliding off the barstool and disappeared into the dark night.

‘Something is wrong, I could feel it but very faint but yet very familiar and evil.’ Tara thought, still keeping her body in sync with the beat. “Ooh, it’s cold but very refreshing!” Tara swirled around abandoning her thoughts, letting the bottle slide around to her chest when Willow had it pressed against her neck.

“It’s a good thing that you had your hair up.” Willow grinned, taking several gulps of refreshing water.

“Thanks sweetie…umm, it’s getting a little late so I should head home.” Tara was walking back to the table.

“Sure, lemme get Buffy and Xander to see if they want to head home too. You know Buffy would need to do some patrol before turning in for the night.”

“Okay, I will be right here.”

“Come on, let’s go home!” Buffy announced with both Willow and Xander following close behind.

All of them were hit with a blast of cool air as they came out of Bronze, they sighed with relief then they walked home, sharing some conservation and laughter.

Chapter 10b

Ring! Ring!

“Yeah? Willow on.” Willow answered.

“Hey Willow, Buffy and Cordy are set and hopefully they would settle their differences.” Xander’s voice came through the earpiece.

“Yeah, I hope we are doing the right thing but just that their bickering over this was getting too stale.” Willow agreed.

“So you going solo?” Xander asked gently knowing that Willow and Oz are not together anymore.

“No, I am not going solo. I am bringing someone to the dance, definitely someone special.” Willow smiled excitedly.

“Who? How come I didn’t know who you are bringing?!” Xander said, with mock hurt.

“You will find out eventually and I really have to get dressed then I will see you there.” Willow hung up after saying goodbye.

Ding Dong! Ding Dong!

Willow was clad in her robe but everything else was already done and only thing left is her dress, trotting down the stairs and opened the door. Willow gasped at the sight revealing Tara wearing seafoam green dress, its fabric wrapped around her body making her curves inevitably noticeable and the hem of her skirt flowing unevenly as if she was a sea nymph. “You like?” Tara spinning around a little.

Willow couldn’t trust her own voice but nodded, taking Tara’s hand pulling her inside and noticed a limo waiting. Until Willow finally got her voice back, “Uh, not that I am questioning you but I don’t believe that I remembered us discussing about getting a limo to the dance.” Willow said, confused.

“Oh, that is my surprise for you and please allow me do this. O-Oh, I m-m-must have overdid this but I am s-s-sorry and—“ Tara was sealed off from Willow’s lips on hers.

“Shh, that’s okay and it is a quite surprise!” Willow grinned seductively. “Give me a minute so I can get my dress on and we can go.”

“Willow, just take your time, the driver is nice and very patient.” Tara wriggled her eyebrows, smiling sultry. ‘The real surprise needs some time anyway.’ Tara thought patiently.

“Tara! Come on up and tell me what you think?” Tara heard Willow, curiosity taking over her, climbing up the stairs until she reached Willow’s bedroom.

When Tara looked into the bedroom and there stood Willow in black and light dress, simple but yet elegant. “You look so dazzling beautiful.” Tara breathed thickly, gazing at Willow deliciously. She couldn’t resist the urge to claim Willow. She closed the distance faster than she thought she could until she felt her lips linger with Willow’s. She was already reveling the feeling of Willow wrapping her in her arms. Tara was breathing a new aroma, some sort of body mist mixing deliciously with her natural body scent. Tara was already very heady once they broke away from their passionate kiss.

“We should go, sweetie.” Tara managed to get this out.

“Yeah, we should.” Taking Tara’s hand, off to the dance they go.

“Hello young ladies, hope you will enjoy your ride.” The driver greeted, opening the door to let the girls in and closed the door after Tara thanked him.

“Hmm, very nice looking girls!” The driver mumbled to himself, mentally getting his head out of the gutter.

“Yay! I am riding in a limo!” Willow exclaimed almost child-like, taking both Tara’s hands.

Tara laughed softly before speaking, “Are you ready for your surprise?”

“Yes! Gimme gimme! I love surprises!” Willow was looking around for it excitedly.

“Willow…”

“Wh—“ Willow gasped, looking at four strawberries on the plate, two of them were chocolate-dipped and the other two were white-chocolate dipped.

“Which one do you want to start?” Tara asked teasingly.

“It doesn’t matter as long as you put it in my mouth.” Willow spoke, feeling very touched.

Picking the chocolate-dipped one first, bringing it to Willow’s lips once the chocolate touched her lips; Willow slowly opened her mouth to accept the offering. As she bit in the plump strawberry, its juice was slowly riveting down her chin. Tara quickly caught it with her tongue, tracing it up to Willow’s mouth and kissed her once before offering her for the second bite to finish it off.

“Mmm! That is so good!” Willow savoring the candied fruit.

“I know, my love… I am glad you liked it.”

Willow took the white-chocolate dipped one and offered it to Tara’s lips. To her surprise, Tara didn’t bite in right away; she slowly twirled her tongue around the strawberry looking into Willow’s eyes before taking it into her mouth, her hand caressing the hand holding the strawberry, sending some energy into Willow. Willow was already getting aroused simply by watching Tara and the energy flowing in her. Tara finally bit in and closed her eyes, chewing it slowly loving the way the candy blending in with the berry. When Tara finally swallowed the candied berry, both of them reached for the last two strawberries at the same time. They fed each other the berries at the same time. Their lips met, slightly sticky from the juice, kissing passionate, tasting their tongues and getting lost in each other. Tara began to take her lips away from Willow’s lips, drawing a soft protest out of Willow, kissing along Willow’s smooth jaw until her lips meets her neck. She was making love to her neck which sent surging energy down to Willow’s center.

Willow was blinking her eyes, wondering what happened to this incredible mouth that was just on her neck a moment ago.

“We are here.” Tara smirked.

“Oh wow! That was quick.” Willow said breathlessly.

“It must be for us.” Tara smiled teasingly.

At the gym of Sunnydale High, it was beautifully decorated with steamers all around the ceiling with giant mirror ball spinning slowly sending reflected lights across the gym. They looked at each other and smiled before locking their hands together.

“Whoa! Tara is your date?” Xander asked, fully surprised.

“Yes, Tara is this someone special. I am sorry I didn’t tell you earlier but just that I was hoping that I would show you like this.” Willow explained, almost guiltily.

“Wow! I am so happy for you, Willow and Tara.” Xander was smiling brightly, looking at both and before he left to look for Cordy, he leaned forward and whispered in Willow’s ear, “Willow, tell me everything about how that happened but I am very happy for you. She is definitely making you so happy.”

“Thanks, Xander… Lemme know when Buffy and Cordy get here okay.”

“Will do!” Xander disappeared.

“So, what do you th—“ Willow was interrupted by Giles putting his arms on both girls and said, “You two look quite dazzling this evening. And I know this is your event, you two cannot think about the research, please.”

Both Tara and Willow agreed by nodding their heads in unison.

Throughout the night, still no sign of Buffy and Cordy and when it was close to the announcement of Homecoming Royalty. Everyone were gathering around, watching the announcer speak and then when he was about to announce the queen. Buffy and Cordy finally made an appearance, their dresses all soiled and ripped trying to make themselves appear less soiled. Willow was in Tara’s arms, saw them and wondered what the heck happened to them. Ultimately both Buffy and Cordy were disappointed when they didn’t win the title but at the same time, they were glad to put the differences aside them. The final dance, Willow and Tara were holding each other very close, bringing them into another place where only they mattered.

“Willow? May I cut in?” Oz interrupted, abruptly breaking the bond between Tara and Willow.

“Umm, I-I” Willow was taken off guard by Oz.

“Willow, that’s okay…Umm, Oz, go on.” Tara reluctantly let her go.

“Tara, no, I-I” Willow was desperately trying to get herself in place.

“Willow, I will be right there, it’s just a dance.” Tara whispered.

“Okay, please don’t go anywhere and you are right, it’s just a dance.” Willow whispered back before turning to Oz.

“How did you enjoy playing for us?” Willow was trying to make a casual conservation, already uncomfortable in Oz’s arms.

“It was pretty good but I was watching you the whole time, dancing with her.” Oz emphasized ‘her’ as if he was offended.

“You were watching me? Why?” Willow was growing more anxious to get back to Tara.

“Because I want you back.” Oz growled a little.

It didn’t go unnoticed by Willow and she decided it was long enough being in his arms.

“We can’t get back together because I am in love with Tara.” Willow was looking around for Tara and felt relieved that Tara was just by the punch bowl a few yards away.

“But I love you!” Oz was tightening his hold around Willow, forcing her to press up against him.

That was it, Willow managed to get out of Oz’s arms and said, “Please understand this, I don’t want this. I better get back to Tara.” Willow was about to walk towards Tara but Oz grabbed her hand and pulled her against him which people dancing around them turned their heads towards them. “Please let me go!” Willow hissed at Oz, disbelieving what Oz was doing to her, it was like he was a completely different Oz. Oz noticed that they were beginning to be in the spotlight and he eventually let her go then put on a fake smile letting them know it was nothing.

Tara sensed Willow’s distress when she returned to Tara’s arms and embraced her tightly.

“What’s matter, honey?” Tara was rubbing Willow’s back, comforting her.

“Oz.” Willow simply replied.

“What did he do?” Tara asked, feeling protective of her girl in her arms.

“Don’t worry about it, he didn’t hurt me but I wasn’t comfortable...” Willow trailed off and something hit her, “Tara? Did you feel something, like something is lurking around here? Do you feel it?” Willow was looking at Tara.

“Yes, I do and it’s not good.” Tara agreed, tightening her hold around Willow becoming very protective.

“Listen, we gotta tell Buffy and Giles, like right now.” Willow said, with fear in her voice.

They went around in search for them, they found Buffy first and quickly confided in her what happened earlier and three of them looked for Giles.

The gym was already clearing out for the night once they found Giles, “We gotta go to the library now. Something is gonna happen.” Buffy whispered to Giles.

Ugh! Things don't look good.

If W/T are really descendants of the other W/T, then I am guessing Oz is a descendant of Daniel. Our ladies are in trouble.

Tara: My heart doesn't stutter.

Tara: Willow, I got so lost.

Willow: I found you. I will always find you.

Chapter 11

“Well well well…So long no see, you two.” The man clad in dark jeans, black construction boots, charcoal trench coat spoke in eerie tone when the door to the library opened, entering the Scooby gang.

“Two? Who are you?” Giles asked, his jaws clenched tightly.

“Why don’t you ask them?” The man smirked.

Giles turned towards Willow and Tara and they were staring at the mysterious man.

“Do you know him?” Giles questioned, keeping his guard up.

“I-I-I have never met him but his presence is very familiar.” Tara finally spoke.

“Duchess Tara, you have grown quite powerful,” The man walked towards them and he didn’t even make any noise, smiling conceitedly. “But not quite enough to kill me. I have been searching for your soul for 80 years and now I have found you again. I have grown more powerful than I was 80 years ago. Duchess Tara, will you join me or—“

“Or what?” Buffy threatened.

“I will kill her.” The man glanced at Willow, raising his hand, forming a crackling energy ball.

“No!” Buffy reached him at lightning speed, kicked his hand, the force of her kick knocked him down, knocking the energy ball at another direction and it made small impact against the cage.

“What?! You are the Slayer!” The man was astonished, quickly stood up without moving a muscle, using both hands to create another energy ball but bigger than the first one.

“Encase!” Tara shouted, binding the man’s progress of forming another energy ball. He snapped his head upwards and glared at Tara for binding him like that then he got knocked down again when his temple met Buffy’s foot.

“Reveal yourself!” Giles yelled, walking over to the fallen figure.

“Release!” The bind was broken, the figure stood up the same way as the first time, finally revealing his true self.

“Oh god!” Giles blinked, taking a few steps, looking down and up at the demon.

“Hello Rupert…never thought you would ever see me again.” The demon was laughing but no sound came out however, it had all of them hair stand up on their necks.

“You know each other?” Xander finally spoke.

“Shh! Xander.” Giles hissed, not taking his eyes off the demon. If he didn’t know better, the demon will not waste any time to throw an energy ball at him.

“Just leave the girls alone, you don’t want them.” Giles spoke in a voice that Buffy never had heard before as if Giles was a complete different person.

“Oh, oh… you are very amusing but stop wasting my time. I only want Tara, I am only collecting what I want, her essence.” The demon was already losing his patience, recreating another energy ball.

“You can’t take her!” Willow threatened, glaring at the demon angrily.

“Ooh, feisty, aren't you?” The demon threw the energy ball towards Willow then Tara pushed Willow down with her pulling Tara down.

Buffy saw what happened and lunged for him but the demon was too quick and caught her and threw her across the room, her body smashing against the wall, knocking her unconscious.

“Buffy!” Xander threw a chair towards the demon which the demon easily blocked it with his left arm then aimed his right hand towards him. Xander was hit with low energy bolt, hitting his head against the floor, knocking him out.

Oz went towards the demon, about to swing double headed ax which he found while he was crawling towards the cage unnoticed at the demon. The demon saw him and grabbed the handle then twisted it upside down causing Oz to twist his arms and pushed him off against the side of the cage.

As demon looked back at Giles and caught Giles’ head slightly down, speaking Latin and his hands were already lighten with sparkling red electric sparks, he rose his head, his eyes were red, no sign of his usual cool blues.

“Inneudo!” He threw the red energy ball towards the demon, hitting right at center, making him fly backwards.

Giles quickly turned to the girls and threw a temporary force field against any energy balls from the demon but warned them, it holds only long enough to take in a few hits.

“Ripper!” the demon yelled, throwing another one towards him before getting up and it hit on Giles’ back but he didn’t even flinch then Giles turned around, with pure fury in his eyes and threw double blast of energy against him, finally wearing him down.

The girls were watching the mystical fight all bewitched. Buffy finally came around in time to see Giles walking slowly towards the fallen demon. Her eyes widen when she noticed his hands still crackling with red electricity.

“Giles?” Buffy called to Giles.

Giles turned to the voice, and Buffy gasped slightly when she saw his eyes.

“Encase!” Tara had to bind Giles because she could sense the magic consuming Giles’ essence, causing him to drop on the floor, knocked out cold.

Willow couldn’t believe what happened, she thought she knew Giles but apparently she didn’t. She understood why Giles was trying to keep her from dabbling in dark magicks without understanding the true magic first, no short cuts and such. As Tara grabbed Willow’s hand and whispered, “We have to do this now. I remember the spell and this time, we are going to do this together.” Willow nodded, and took Tara’s other hand. Right against left, left against right, fingers intertwined and both of them stood up in unison. As Tara began chanting with Willow following her lead then somehow they began to chant together, without one leading. The room was starting to vibrate, awakening Xander, Oz, and Giles. As they continued to chant, the blue tint light began to twirl from beneath, rising and covering both girls until the blue light turned into bright purple increasing the vibration throughout the room. The demon finally came around, quickly threw several blasts of energy at the girls, clearly in panic but they simply were absorbed into the energy twirling around the girls. Another light appeared and began to grow in between of Tara and Willow as if it was being fed by both of them. They finally stopped chanting and allowed their power to finish its job. The light from the between, went straight to the demon, picking him off the floor, leaving him midair. The demon was shrieking in pain, the light cracked his torso and something was coming out of it. They could hear thousands of cries of joy filling the entire room.

“Those souls were trapped?!” Buffy asked to no one but still watched the beautiful sight of souls finally being free. Their cries of joy were very deafening, drowning out the demon’s high-pitched shrieks. At last, the souls disappeared to rest in peace. Willow and Tara spoke, “We banish you into the void.” The light holding the demon began to squeeze him as if it was the giant snake squeezing its prey; it continued squeezing him until he disappeared into nothing. The light was dimming and the girls collapsed beyond spent.

“They did it.” Xander walked, rubbing his head trying to ease the throbbing pain, looking at the girls with new respect.

“I had no idea they were that powerful. Especially Tara, I would have to have a talk with her after she is all recovered.” Giles spoke softly, completely exhausted and his blues returned.

“Yeah, we better carry those girls home, they must be too exhausted to walk and besides they saved our lives. Oh no! I don’t know where Tara lives but I hope she wouldn’t mind that we just have them at my house.” Buffy suggested.

“What the hell happened?! I couldn’t open the friggin’ doors!” Cordy barged in, looking genuinely worried.

“Hmm, a long story but I will tell you all about it but we are heading home.” Xander gently smiled but winced when he found out his temple was quite tender.

“Okay, let’s get the girls in my car and have them rest at Buffy’s.” Giles announced.

Oz spoke up and suggested, “I can take Willow home and I can take care of her.”

Buffy looked at Oz, wondering what’s up with him, after all what happened and yet he had the nerve to suggest something so stupid. But she kept the thoughts to herself and said, “Oz, it is very considerate of you but I don’t think it’s a good idea. Both Willow and Tara are staying at my house.” Buffy said.

“Okay, so I will swing by tomorrow to see how Willow is doing.” Oz said flatly.

“Listen, Oz…I really don’t want to know what you are trying to pull here but just let Willow be because I don’t know how long both Tara and Willow will recover. You get it, don’t you?” Buffy said firmly.

“Got it.” Oz watched them carry the girls out.

*~*~*~*

“Mmm…” Willow was stirring, trying to open her eyes but her eyes were too heavy to open, she didn’t mind that until she turned on her left side and felt a warm body lying next to her. That was enough for her to open her eyes but her eyes were met with curtain of soft blonde tresses, Willow was already smiling when she slowly lifted her head knowing the warm body lying next to her was indeed, Tara. Tara was still asleep, breathing steadily, Willow blinked her eyes a few times trying to wash away the sleep but she had no success however, she managed to look around to find out where she was. When she realized that both of them are sleeping in Buffy’s mother’s room, she looked down at Tara and moved herself closer to her and felt Tara subconsciously wrapped her arm around Willow, pulling her close. Willow happily snuggled in her Tara’s arms before closing her eyes again, covering Tara’s hand with her own and their fingers locked.

Ring! Ring!

“Hello?” Buffy answered, she was already in the middle of making her oats.

“Honey, I am calling to let you know that my flight has been delayed and it is high likely that I will be able to catch the next flight tomorrow morning.” Her mother’s voice spoke into Buffy’s ear.

“What’s up with the delay, Mom?” Buffy asked, holding the phone between her head and shoulder so she could have free hands for a moment.

“I am not sure but we were told that it was some sort of mechanical difficulties. Buffy, I am so sorry I couldn’t be there to see how your Homecoming went.” Joyce Summers said, apology obvious in her voice.

“That’s okay, Mom… At least I can say you were safe where you are right now. Something happened but I will tell you all about it when you get home. Oh, I almost forgot, Willow and Tara are staying with me and they are sleeping in your bed, if it’s okay with you but they had played the major role of sending the big bad into void last night.” Buffy explained.

“That’s all right, honey. Buffy, don’t burn your oats!”

As Buffy heard her last statement, quickly looked in the pan cooking her oats and she frowned, it was slightly burnt which she quickly took the pan off the heat, turned off the stove.

“Mom, I swear you are a closeted psychic!” Buffy teased.

“That’s because I have known you even before you were born and I know you burn your oats each time!”

Buffy giggled at that and they said their byes before they hung up. She went to grab a bowl and spooned most oats that weren’t burnt. She tasted it, deciding it needed some brown sugar and butter. As soon she finished her oats, she heard soft footsteps coming down the stairs; she knew anyone without the Slayer’s hearing wouldn’t hear them. When she saw a foot touch on the wooden floor, she knew it was Tara because she has seen Willow’s feet numerous of times before.

“Hello Tara.” Buffy called out even before the figure came out fully.

“Good morning, Buffy.” Tara quickly replied as if startled.

“Good afternoon, actually but sorry I startled you…You know Slayer hearing.” Buffy smiling brightly, motioning her to come into the kitchen and make herself at home.

“I bet Willow is still sleeping?” Buffy asked, almost teasingly.

“Yes, Willow is quite a sleepyhead, isn’t she?” Tara agreed, discovering something new about her favorite redhead.

“You know, the only thing that can actually wake her up. Let me demonstrate.” Both Tara and Buffy burst in giggles at Buffy’s statement.

“W-Wait are you all right from last night, I-I-I mean, you took a bad hit?” Tara asked, her baby blues full of concern.

“Tara, tell you the truth, I got a hell of headache but two little blue ones did the wonders!” Buffy smiled softly, picking up a small bottle and showed it to Tara.

“Oh Aleve!” Tara saw the label on it.

Buffy went to grab some coffee beans and put some in coffee grinder with Tara looking on. “Tara, you can grab anything you would like to eat, my mom have it well stocked because I am a pig.” Buffy said, pointing to the refrigerator.

“You a pig? I don’t think so!” Tara laughed, not believing Buffy’s statement.

“Oh yeah, I am…You see, after slaying, I have this craving to indulge in food and I don’t even gain a pound! Giles called it abnormal metabolism, like it was supposed to make me feel better.” Buffy scowled but she was already smiling.

Tara was feeling very comfortable around Buffy because she could sense some sort of protectiveness dancing around her as if she could trust her with her life. The aroma of coffee brewing was already filling the kitchen and undoubtedly creeping itself upstairs.

“5…4…3…2...1” Buffy was counting down until they heard Willow trotting down the stairs, clearly following the aroma of coffee.

Both Tara and Buffy burst in laughter when they saw Willow enter the kitchen as soon as Buffy reached to one.

“Hey! What’s so funny?” Willow was looking very refreshed as if the smell of coffee itself woke her up completely.

“My demonstration of waking you up was a big success!” Buffy exclaimed which made Tara more amused.

“Oh yeah! Thanks!” Willow rolled her eyes playfully, heading to the cabinet to grab a mug and filled herself a cup of steaming coffee.

“Willow, would you like some veggie crepes?” Tara asked, already chopping red bell pepper.

“Ooh, my personal chef!” Willow came to Tara, setting her cup down before wrapping her from behind, hugging her tightly. “Yes, I would love some even though I have never had one before. Buffy, since you got that abnormal metabolism, you ought let her cook you some.” Willow suggested with her chin resting on Tara’s shoulder before releasing her to her task.

“Yes Buffy, I would like you to try it and it is least I can do to thank you for letting me stay here.” Tara agreed, moving on to mushrooms using egg slicing gadget.

“Oh okay, don’t leave anything out, I like everything and I am going to shower up okay.” Buffy was about to head upstairs before she remembered something. “Hey Tara, I wanted to let you know that Giles will be stopping by to talk with you, something about your powers. I almost never understand anything he says about magicks. Knowing him, he would probably stop by at like 3 this afternoon,” Buffy glanced at the kitchen clock, “which gives you a few hours from now.”

“O-O-Okay and thank you.” Tara stuttered a little because she was nervous of what Giles will discuss with her. Watching Buffy disappear and went back to her cooking, slightly oblivious to Willow watching her with concern.

“Baby, it’s okay. I will be with you when Giles talks with you, if you want to.” Willow was stroking Tara’s back lovingly.

“Thank you, Willow.” Tara turned her head to Willow, not surprised that her lips were close to Willow’s and planted a soft kiss.

“Oh! Your dad! I mean, I don’t want you to get in trouble with him but I know for sure, none of us had time to call your dad to let him know that you are not going to be at home last night, I am sorry…I can’t believe I totally forgot about this and I mean, Buffy doesn’t have your phone number…” Willow trailed off, almost panicking.

“Shh, that’s all right, Willow. In fact, they are out of town for the whole weekend and I think they mentioned something about fishing, like they would actually go but I don’t mind as long as I am with you.” Tara smiled and brought the plate of steaming big folded crepe filled with veggies bursting with flavors with melted Monterey jack cheese to Willow’s face.

“Whoa! That smells great! Thanks, my chef!” Willow grinned excitedly, quickly kissed Tara’s lips before bringing her plate to the table and dove into it.

“Mmm! Buffy, hurry up, these are good!” Willow shouted to Buffy, knowing she would hear her just fine which amused Tara entirely.

After they finished their brunch, both Tara and Willow are already showered up and dressed, of course separately. Buffy was taking Tara on a mini tour around the house because Buffy wanted Tara to feel more welcome ever since she made that killer veggie crepes and Willow thinks that Buffy is trying to make it as welcome as possible so she could have Willow’s personal chef around more often. Willow laughed secretly at that thought.

Ding Dong! Ding Dong!

“Hey Giles” Willow greeted at the Englishman standing outside.

“Hello Willow, where are everyone else?” Giles asked, entering the Summers’ residence.

“They are in basement, Buffy is giving Tara a mini tour.” Willow grinned.

“Mini tour around the house?” Giles questioned, finding it a little odd.

“Well, I think it’s because Tara made this killer veggie crepes for brunch today and Buffy is trying to keep her here so she could cook for her indefinitely.” Willow teased.

“We heard that!” Both Tara and Buffy said at the same time and Willow giggled.

“Hello Buffy and Tara.” Giles greeted, acknowledged both of them.

“Hey Giles, what’s up?”

“Hello Mr. Giles.”

“All right, let’s get down to the point, I would like to talk with you, Tara. Which would you rather, privately or with them?” Giles asked, cool blues meeting baby blues.

“Mr. Giles, I would be comfortable if you talk with me with them, I-I-I don’t want to hide anything from them.” Tara replied.

“Okay, let’s go into the living room.” Giles said.

After the discussion was over, Giles was very impressed with Tara’s knowledge of using magicks and the rules of Wicca. Giles even acknowledged to himself that Tara is the best material to help Willow with her progress in witchcraft and understanding the Wicca as well. He also felt very sentimental and thankful that Tara saved him from the pure dark magicks. Even though, he has fallen in that path, he was lucky enough to come out and be able to lead a normal life however, he knew that if it wasn’t for Tara binding him and releasing him from the magicks he was using against the demon, he will never get out like the first time. He felt that he owes Tara his life and made sure that Tara will always be safe from harm.

Tara felt a little overwhelmed with the way they are welcoming her in their lives now. Tara has Willow to thank for, she told herself that she will always try her best to make Willow the happiest woman on earth because she knows Willow will make her one too.

“Okay Buffy, we will do some training tomorrow morning, bring me the tonight’s report to me tomorrow okay.” Giles said, standing up with Buffy already standing up.

“Okay Giles, I can do that. Let me walk you to the car.” Buffy looped her arm through his arm.

As they were outside, Giles said, “Buffy, I must say this, I am darn glad that Willow and Tara found each other. I will be forever indebted to her because she saved my life.”

“Yeah, I would agree. They are great friends, really close, don’t you think?” Buffy nodded.

“Friends? Are you certain? It must be me imagining but I am certain there is something more between them. I mean, their connection is very strong but it is not my business anyhow.” Giles smiled.

“That reminds me, why did you get all dark magicked? You never told me that you went down on that path once before.” Buffy scolded gently.

“It was a long time ago, I was young and rebellious. The moment my father told me that I am to train with the Watcher’s Council when I reach to the certain age and that was my destiny. I didn’t want this back then because I wanted to be a musician and I felt as if my father was trying to rob me of my dreams. So instead I rebelled, those things I have done was because I was angry at my father and yes, I have done things that you wouldn’t even imagine. So I do not want to revisit that path again. I went like this last night because Ethan summoned him once to do his personal bidding and he almost killed me.” Giles explained.

“Giles, please don’t ever scare me like that again. You are like a father to me.” Buffy hugged Giles and Giles was hugging her back.

“Buffy, have fun tonight and be careful.”

“Will do and thanks for telling me this.” Buffy waved at him and watched him get in car and drive away.

“Anyone up for movie night tonight?” Buffy asked, reentering the living room, seeing Willow and Tara looking at each other lost in their own world.

“I am up for it, so are you up to that, Tara?” Willow said, with Willow-grin.

“Sure, why not.” Tara smiled, looking at Buffy.

“All right, I will call up Xander to see if he would want to join us and I would call up Cordy but I doubt she would want to do this as she would quote, ‘I wouldn’t be caught dead hanging around with you, losers.’” Buffy rolled her eyes at the thought of Cordy.

Willow burst in giggles at Buffy’s impression of Cordelia Chase.

Ding Dong!

“Who could be that be? It couldn’t be Xander. Are you expecting anyone, Buffy?” Willow frowned.

“No…Lemme see who it is okay.”

“Ah, Willow.. it’s Oz.”

“Oz?” Willow asked, feeling somewhat mortified.

“Willow, can we talk outside, I have something to tell you?” Oz asked.

“Umm, Oz we were havi—“

“It won’t take long, I promise.” Oz pleaded.

“Willow, I will be right here if you need me.” Buffy reassured Willow.

Tara was coming through in the time to see the door close, “Who was that? Where is Willow?”

“It’s Oz and he wanted to talk to Willow outside.” Buffy retorted.

“Oh I see. S-So umm..” Tara stammered slightly and Buffy caught on and quickly told Tara that she doesn’t have to worry about anything.

“So Oz, what is it you want to tell me?”

“I didn’t mean to do these things and I guess I couldn’t accept the fact that it was really over for us. I am really sorry for what I have been behaving. But now, I had the chance to see how happy you are with, you know—“

“Tara, her name is Tara and yes, I am very happy with her.” Willow finished with soft tone.

“Yeah and I am leaving Sunnydale to pursue my career with my band. I wanted to tell you that I am really sorry and wish you the happiness you truly deserve.” Oz said with a smile.

“Thanks Oz, that means a lot to hear you say that. Find your happiness wherever you go and it will be a good thing, though.”

Willow and Oz hugged their goodbye hug.

“Hey, Tara is definitely the one for you.” Oz grinned.

“Thanks, I know she is the one and I am the lucky one.”

Oz sighed lightly and got in his van and drove away.

“Willow, are you okay sweetie?” Tara was waiting for her redhead to return and all Willow did was taking Tara in her arms and whispered, “I am more than all right. Oz and I had to say good bye. I love you, Tara Maclay.”

“I love you too, Willow Rosenberg.”

Xander was coming over and he offered to pick up the rental videos that he got from Buffy over the phone with Willow and Tara listing the movies in background. Willow and Tara offered to do some shopping since Tara already got her driver’s license before she moved to Sunnydale so Buffy felt it would be safer for her to drive instead of walking. Buffy insisted that Tara was to borrow her mom’s car and promised her that she will tell her mom that she was the one who insisted her to drive it. Tara agreed with on one condition, she will make all the munchies which both Buffy and Willow gladly agreed. A while later, Buffy left for patrol, Willow and Tara were sitting at the breakfast nook, going over the shopping list, making sure that they don’t have to replicate anything that were already in the kitchen.

Ding Dong! Ding Dong!

“I will get it, I bet it’s Xander!” Willow exclaimed, walking to the door and opened the door, entered Xander carrying a bag full of video rentals.

“Hey Willow, good news! I got every movie you girls wanted. So we are settled in for the night, where’s Buffy?” Xander asked, heading into the living room to make himself at home.

“Okay Tara is in kitchen making good munchies for the movie, this time nothing junky!” Willow said happily.

“No potato chips?” Xander mock-whimpered.

“No, better!” Willow said.

Tara entered, carrying a large bowl of party mix and greeted Xander along the way. “I had to have it large because I remember Buffy telling me she got this strange craving and the food.” Tara explained until she noticed she didn’t have to explain it because they already knew when they were smiling at her knowingly.

“Whoa, party mix, with Crispix!” Xander gaped, looking up at Tara and said heartedly, “Tara, don’t ever leave us!”

Tara was laughing at Xander’s statement, she liked Xander already.

“I will be right back, got a few more munchies to bring in before Buffy comes home.” Tara announced, disappearing into the kitchen.

“So, you and Tara are gonna have something? Mmm! These are good!” Xander mumbled, making crunchy sounds.

“I hope so, so what do you think, Xander?” Willow asked, scooping a handful of the party mix.

“Even though I don’t know her very well but I have every intention to get to know her better. Willow, I think she is definitely a keeper. If she really makes you happy then that makes me happy because you are my best friend since we were kids. I wouldn’t dis you since knowing you like forever for this, it wouldn’t be right.” Xander said seriously.

“Thanks, Xander that means a lot!” Willow hugged him.

“Now, can you do me a favor, Xander? Will you bring out the ice chest in the kitchen?” Tara asked, setting down a large plastic plate filled with assorted mini sandwiches and another filled with fruits and chocolates.

“Wow Tara, you are definitely the best movie night host!” Xander was grinning, carrying the Rubbermaid ice chest and set it down next to the table topped with munchies.

“At least Buffy won’t feel sick after she eats a lot of these!” Willow agreed, nodding her head.

The door opened and three of them turned towards the direction to see Buffy come in. “Finally, the patrol is over! Food time!” Buffy was about to head into the kitchen until Tara called out, “Hold it there, come back here, the food is right here.”

“Really? Potato chips?” Buffy’s small pout quickly turned into a smile when she saw what were lying all over the table.

“Okay, which movie do we want to watch first?” Tara said, settling down on the padded carpet that Willow had arranged for her to sit on next to her.

“Since you did a great job on munchies, so you have the honor to pick the first one!” Buffy was already munching on those mini sandwiches.

“Thank you, I would like to watch this movie, ‘But I am a Cheerleader’ and I heard it was quite hilarious.”

“Okay let’s watch that one.” Xander agreed, popping in the selected video in.

After the movie night was over, everything was eaten, nothing was left out and Tara was about to pick up the trash until Buffy caught her.

“Tara, you don’t have to. I will take care of this. Go on to bed and I am sure that you will have to be at your house tomorrow morning before I go to see Giles for training.” Buffy suggested.

“Thank you, Buffy and thank you very much for letting me stay here. Yes, I do have to be at home tomorrow morning.” Tara smiled and proceeded upstairs to meet Willow.

“Hey Tara, you were wonderful tonight!” Willow was taking Tara into her arms and embracing her with adoration.

“Thank you and by the way, Buffy will take care of the trash and insisted that I go on to bed since I am going home tomorrow morning.” Tara said, reveling the feeling being in Willow’s arms. ‘Soon I will ask her to be mine…Soon…soon…’ Both Willow and Tara thought.

Chapter 12

“Tara, come down here, right now!” Mr. Maclay shouted.

“What do you want, sir?” Tara asked, already irritated as she reached to the first floor to meet her father.

“You!” Mr. Maclay was already glaring at his daughter, with Donny watching behind, enjoying the show.

“Me? Is that all you are going to say, sir?” Tara challenged, meeting the cold blues of her father.

Tara wasn’t expecting Mr. Maclay to respond by grabbing Tara by her shoulders and smashed her against the wall.

“You lied to me! Your mother left you money, a lot of money!” His face was only few inches away from Tara’s.

“I didn’t lie to you. I simply didn’t tell you. There is a big difference between lying and withholding the information. I didn’t volunteer the information.” Tara said angrily, trying to get her father’s hands off her.

“It doesn’t matter!” Mr. Maclay pulled Tara away from the wall and pushed her which she lost her balance and tripped backwards over coffee table, landing onto the couch.

“Why are you doing this?” Tara spat, rubbing her upper chest where her father left his fist prints on, glaring at him.

“I want the fucking money! Your mother owes me!”

“Mom owes you nothing! You were the one who abandoned her when she got sick and you divorced her way before that anyway. You never once called my mom to say hi even when she was on that damn deathbed. Goddess, my mom told me never to hate you for who you are and I will never turn my back on that but you deserve nothing.” Tara stood up, to meet her father at eye level, refusing to give him any satisfaction.

“Fuck you, Tara…She’s my mom too!” Donny was standing besides their father.

“She might have brought you out into the world but you were the one who washed your hands of her. Just give me a break.” Tara rolled her eyes, about to head upstairs.

“Where do u think u are going?” Mr. Maclay grabbed her arm.

“Upstairs,” Tara spoke simply.

As soon as she looked up to see what her father was going to say but instead, she was down on the floor, gasping in pain. Mr. Maclay backhanded her and demanded her to get up.

Tara was trying to hold back the tears fighting to come out but lost the battle. She gasped when she felt the hand grab her hair and jerked her head up so she could see her father.

“You are getting me that money!” He demanded with venom in his voice, raising his hand intending to hit Tara again but something happened.

‘Leave Tara alone, Stephen Richard Maclay.’

“Who’s there?!” Mr. Maclay didn’t release Tara but loosened his grip.

‘Release my daughter now!’ The voice seemed to appear clearer but Tara and Donny didn’t show any sign that they heard what their father was hearing.

“Dad?” Donny asked, wondering what’s going on with his father.

“Rain, is that you?!” Mr. Maclay asked angrily, finally released Tara.

Tara’s eyes widen when she heard her father call out her mother’s name.

‘Shh, that’s all right, baby Tara. Just get out of here, I am so sorry you had to endure all this. Just go to Willow’s. I will take care of your father.’ Rain spoke telepathically in Tara’s mind.

Tara was already sobbing when she reached to her room to grab whatever she needed and stashed them into her duffel bag. She went to call Willow to let her know that she will be coming over.

“Tara?! Please come on over! I need to tell you something weird. I will wait for you.” Willow answered quickly then hung up when she heard dial tone.

“Goddess, what’s really going on with Tara?! It’s really weird because I would have sworn that I heard a woman’s voice telling me that Tara needs to be with me. Ooh, better get some Kleenex in here and bottled water too.” Willow was talking to herself, all worried about Tara.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Tara was pounding the door as if her life was depending on it, she couldn’t stop crying the entire way she managed to get herself over to Willow’s.

“Tara! My Goddess! What happened?!” Willow grabbed Tara’s bag and dropped on the floor then quickly wrapped Tara in her arms, using her right leg to close the door and spoke quick Latin to have the door locked magically.

“Come on upstairs, baby.” Willow cooed, stroking her back. They got to her bedroom and Willow lay Tara down on her bed then looked over her to make sure that she is all right but not until she noticed an angry purple spot beginning to mar across Tara’s right temple.

“Oh Goddess, your dad hit you?!” Willow asked when they reached to her bedroom. Willow was not surprised that Tara didn’t reply right away, she decided to take off Tara’s windbreaker and she was grateful that Tara allowed her to do that even when she was still crying. Willow took Tara’s shoes off and her own before lying down next to her. Tara turned to Willow, putting her head against Willow’s neck. Willow doesn’t care that there was a wet spot growing on her shirt as long as Tara is in her arms and she will make sure that she will be okay. Willow was careful not to touch Tara’s temple while stroking her hair. Tara finally stopped crying after a long while, she slowly raised her head to meet Willow’s eyes.

“I-I-I am so sorry!” Tara started to cry again but lightly.

“Tara, don’t apologize, I think you did the right thing by coming here. You trusted me enough that you could turn to me. Baby, you got a nasty bruise there. Lemme get you some ice and is there anything else you would like from the kitchen?” Willow spoke gently, brushing the stray hair away from Tara’s tear-stained face. Tara could only nod that was enough for Willow to take it as yes. Willow gently slid off the bed to head down to the kitchen. When she retrieved a kitchen towel so she could put in ice cubes in it, she started to cry lightly, wishing that she was able to protect Tara from harm even from her father. “Come on, Willow…Be strong for Tara, she needs me.” She told herself. Willow was about leave the kitchen until the phone rang, picking up the phone before it rang twice. “Hello? Willow on.”

“Hello Willow, I know you are the only one at home.” The voice spoke into Willow’s ear.

“Hello Mom, what’s up?” Willow was already anxious to get back to Tara.

“Willow, I called because your father and I will be home next month and we already have put in extra money for you so you can have the food restocked. How’s school, getting those A’s? Good… I am glad, here’s your father. Hello, baby?”

“Hey Dad, how are things over there?” Willow asked, knowing they will be off in a few minutes.

After five minutes, she hung up the phone, bolted upstairs and tends to Tara. Willow tiptoed to the bed with Tara lying down, not sure if Tara was sleeping but her question was answered when Tara moved to face Willow.

“Here’s the ice.” Willow held out the towel holding the cubes.

“Thank you, Willow.” Tara didn’t take the towel but instead, she was looking at Willow full of love which that melt Willow’s heart completely. Willow sat down besides Tara and carefully presses the towel against her temple.

“Is that okay?” Willow asked.

“Why did you cry?” Tara asked, surprising Willow.

“Uh…umm…how did you know?” Willow stammered.

“I could sense you.” Tara spoke, joining Willow’s hand holding the towel.

“Yeah, I was crying because I wish that I could be able to protect you from anything, you know but I felt helpless so I felt so terrible to see you like this and you don’t even deserve all this, I mean you got wonderful soul and I couldn’t bel—“ Willow’s mouth was clamped by two firm fingers pressing on her lips.

“Shh, that’s okay. You shouldn’t blame yourself. It is just my father and…” Tara trailed off, wincing at the throbbing pain in her right temple at the same time, feeling relived for the ice.

“Please don’t talk, here are the aspirins.” Willow spoke gently, lifting her open palm holding two white pills.

Tara nodded, taking the pills then washed them down with water. Willow took the empty water bottle and tosses it in the trash nearby.

“Willow?”

“Yes, Tara?” Willow was looking at Tara intently, making sure Tara is really talking, not a fragment of her imagination.

“Will you stay with me until I go sleep?” Tara whispered.

“Yes, I will…let me change into something comfortable and you should too. Lemme get you something comfortable okay?” Willow got up and went over to her dresser to retrieve a pair of flannel boxers and an oversized T-shirt for Tara, light drawstring pant and tank top for herself.

“Here, they are perfect for you, I mean the boxers should be in your size since they don’t fit me. My grandmother got me this for Hanukkah last year.” Willow explained with a smile.

“Thank you and umm, should I go into bathroom and change?” Tara was holding onto those given clothes, already feeling awkward of changing in front of Willow.

“No no, lemme put up the changing screen over there and you can change, okay.” Willow offered, already at her task.

“There you go.” Willow helped Tara get up.

Willow quickly changed in her pjs and she turned around to dump her clothes in the hamper, in time to see Tara’s body silhouetted against the light reflecting the screen. Willow knew she shouldn’t be looking but she couldn’t get her brain to send a message to her eyes telling them to move away. She took in the disoriented sight and could make out most details that were enough to tell Willow that Tara got a very beautiful body. Willow scolded herself mentally, finally turned around in time Tara reappeared clad in borrowed pjs and Tara seemed comfortable enough in them. Willow motioned her to dump her clothes in the hamper, pulling the comforter down, slipped inside and waited for Tara to get in with her. Tara closed the gap between them so she could snuggle against Willow, already feeling the effect of the aspirin. She was fast asleep once she lays her head against Willow’s chest and Willow wasn’t feeling sleepy yet but chose to hum softly enough not to disturb Tara’s sleep. As she hummed, she gently encircled Tara, feeling Tara tightening her hold on Willow in response. Willow smiled at that then spoke quick but soft Latin to turn off the lights. They stayed that way until sleep finally caught up with Willow.

“Rain! You’re dead!” Tara’s father was shouting, with fear so clear in his voice.

‘Steve, you have harmed Tara. I have told you not to harm her in any way and you chose to take my death as your advantage to do Tara wrong. Now Tara will not be harmed by you ever again.’ The voice became louder in Mr. Maclay’s mind.

“Dad, who are you talking to?!” Donny was feeling something for the very first time in many years…fear.

Mr. Maclay kept thrashing his head right and left, looking for something in particular, keeping calling out his late ex-wife’s name.

‘Silence! You are not to harm Tara from now on. This goes the same for you, Donald.’ The voice filled both of their minds and at the same time the voice faded away, there was bright light going boom then disappeared.

“What hell happened?!” Both Maclay men said.

“I don’t know but where’s Tara?” Donny was looking around.

“I don’t know but this fucking can’t be happening! Damn Rain!” Mr. Maclay kicked the coffee table which it flip flopped.

“I don’t get it, Mom is not alive right? I mean, I heard her but she is not alive?” Donny asked nervously, not liking how his father is acting.

“I am going out and look for Tara. Stay here.” Mr. Maclay said, heading for the door.

As Mr. Maclay opened the door, he took in the sight that he wasn’t familiar with.

“What the hell—“ He couldn’t finish when he realized what happened.

“This can’t be fucking happening!” Mr. Maclay was screaming which sent repeating echoes all around.

“What, Dad?” Donny joined him at the door and gasped.

They are took a few steps outside into the deepest woods. ‘Now I have brought you two here because I know it will be a better place for your souls. Be well.’ The soothing voice echoed all around.

Tara was awakening by soft mumbling voice coming from her favorite redhead. She prepared herself to wince at the pain in her temple but found none. Confused, she lifted her hand to touch her temple and became surprised to find there was no pain or not even a sign of swelling like it was there the night before. Tara looked up at Willow and smiled when she saw her lips moving while she is still stuck in her sleeping state. She chose that moment to watch Willow sleep, wondering how peaceful the redhead is even when she is sleeping. Tara was giggling to herself when she thought of a way to wake Willow up. She leaned over to Willow very slowly hoping she wouldn’t wake up to Tara’s movements but Willow didn’t even stir. Tara smiled mischievously, brushed few strands of red tresses away from Willow’s beautiful face then touched her nose with her lips. It wasn’t enough to get Willow to open her eyes so Tara tried again by placing few kisses all over Willow’s face.

To her surprise, Willow grabbed Tara and turned her onto her back, pressing her lips against Tara’s. “Good morning, Tara. Thank u for the sweet wake-up call.” “Good morning, you weren’t sleeping, were you?” Tara gladly accepted the kiss. Her emerald eyes were caressing against Tara’s sapphires. They were that way until Willow broke the silence by saying, “Hey, your bruise is gone and even the swelling too! May I touch it to see if you are really okay?”

“Yeah, I already touched it when I woke up and you can touch to find out for yourself.” Tara nodded, allowing Willow touch her.

“Hmm…it’s really interesting, I mean you had a really nasty bruise last night and now, it looked as if you never had one. Was it magic?” Willow kept her face close to Tara’s.

“Probably so but I think it has something to do with my mom.” Tara speculated.

“Oh that reminds me! I could have sworn that I heard your mother telling me that you needed me. Was it really her? If so, she got the most beautiful but yet soothing voice I have ever heard and it sounded so much like yours.” Willow was looking down at Tara in hopes that she could explain something to her about all this strange happening last night.

“Yes, it was my mom. I heard her last night when…” Tara paused and got out of bed, hearing Willow whimper in protest but turned back signaling that she will be right back in a second. Tara opened her duffel bag and pulled out her favorite photograph of herself and her mother. She trotted back to the bed and got in with Willow. She put the photo frame in Willow’s hand so she could see the picture. “This is my mom, Rain.”

“Wow, she is really beautiful and you look so much like her. You even got her eyes and I could see she got this playful personality.” Willow was gazing at the photograph, smiling at the fact that Tara was sharing something so special to her with Willow.

“Yeah, she was very good-natured and this photograph was taken about hmm three months before she got sick. It was my favorite because it was the last time we went to the carnival, you know she loved going to carnivals with me every year and it was our tradition. She had to bribe me with caramel apple with almonds which was and is my favorite so I could take a picture with her.” Tara explained, her eyes caressing the photo.

“I am glad that she did that so you two would make that beautiful picture.” Willow turned her face to Tara’s and smiled.

“So am I.”

“So what are you going to do? I mean, you can’t go back there. It is not safe for you.” Willow asked, feeling protective of Tara all of sudden.

“Hmm, actually I am going to make a call to my lawyer today and see what he can arrange for me because I don’t feel comfortable going back there.” Tara replied with sadness lacing her voice.

“Lawyer? I don’t know you had one, did you get in trouble before?” Willow asked, looking worried.

“Oh no no, not that kind…Just the one that my mom worked with before she died so she could have everything taken care for me. You see, my mom have left me pretty much everything and more which I am not ready to find out right now. My father wanted to know if she left me anything so he could find a way to control my finances since I am not 18 or 25. But I was already emancipated from my father the moment my mom died but he didn’t know.” Tara explained with confidence.

“I see, so would u like to make the phone call right now and I could whip up something for us to eat even though I don’t cook but I—“ Willow was interrupted with soft lips against her lips.

“Shh, my babbling Willow, don’t you worry. Let me take you out to breakfast okay?” Tara smiled her famous lopsided grin.

“Yeah…I am in for hearty breakfast.” Willow breathed, already loving Tara’s kissage.

Willow finally got her brain to function fully and announced that she will be taking a shower. Tara was watching Willow gather some stuff before disappearing. Tara couldn’t believe how wonderful Willow was and told herself, that she will do anything to make her the happiest woman on earth, well hopefully in the whole universe. She made a phone call with Mr. Bell and arranged them to have a meeting later in the afternoon knowing that Willow will also have a meeting of her own also, the Scooby meeting at the library.

*~*~*~*

The restaurant that Willow has chosen and complimented for serving the best homemade breakfast in all Sunnydale, they just finished their breakfast and decided to order a big slice of breakfast pie to share.

“Hmm, this is really great!” Tara exclaimed, savoring the flavor of the bite.

“Yeah, glad you liked it.” Willow grinned.

“Willow, I am going to be gone probably all day so I won’t see you until evening.” Tara took another bite.

“Tara? Are you going home after seeing your lawyer?” Willow asked, hoping Tara wouldn’t.

“I don’t know but I will find out when I get there.” Tara shrugged.

Willow took Tara’s hand and began stroking lovingly then blues met greens. Tara took the last bite of the pie and offered to Willow which she gladly accepted. Willow didn’t look away while chewing the pie, she gently pulled Tara to her and she kissed Tara then whispered, “Thank you for the breakfast.”

“Is there anything else or should I bring u the check?” The polite voice interrupted the girls out of their secret tryst.

“No but the check, please and thank you.” Tara spoke up, refusing to take her eyes off Willow.

“Okay, I will be right back with the check.” The waiter announced, turning away to check other tables.

After her meeting with the lawyer, Tara was very overwhelmed when she found out that her mother have already bought her a house right here in Sunnydale and she accepted Mr. Bell’s offer to arrange to have a car purchased. Mr. Bell has informed her that he will serve as temporary guardian only until her eighteenth birthday which is only a few months away. As soon she left the office, she just broke down, sobbing. It was a long moment until she finally stopped crying, she still couldn’t believe how much she missed her mother and it felt as if her mother never stopped taking care of her even in death. ‘Okay, I am going to see you very soon and I will bring Willow to meet you.’ She wiped her eyes with clean but crumbled up Kleenex.

“Here you are and do you want me to come with you?” Mr. Bell offered, dropping the keys in Tara’s hand. Looking down at her open palm with few unfamiliar keys lying before closing her hand into a fist holding the keys. “Um, you don’t have to but thank you.” Tara smiled, opening the passenger door. Mr. Bell has offered to drive Tara to see the house. “No problem, Tara. I have to get back to the office. Call me when you need to be picked up and drop you off somewhere else okay.” Tara said her thanks and watched her lawyer drive away before turning to face the house ‘Let’s see the house that my mom got for me and I hope it is cozy, nothing fancy.’ With that, Tara began to walk towards the house, revisiting all the times she have spent with her mom.

As she reached to the house that its address was shown on the paper that was given to her by Mr. Bell, Tara double checked the address because she couldn’t believe her eyes. The house looked very comfortable and quite welcoming plus very well taken care of. Tara slowly reached to the door, nervously unlocking it and she took a few deep breaths before opening the door. She was surprised to find the house already furnished with all the furniture that was brought from the house where her mom and she used to live. She was so glad that she was able to have those things that her mother left for her. She silently thanked her mother for being so thoughtful and she chuckled to herself when she thought about when her mother went overboard with simple things.

When she thought of the kitchen, she looked for the kitchen in the new house, as soon as she found it, she gasped when she entered in the kitchen. The kitchen was major stellar, it contained an island with 6 star-shaped burners which would cook everything evenly than standard round shaped burners, Tara knew. Tara slowly walked around the kitchen, trying to take all in at once but couldn’t. She let her hand slide along the sides around the island and found one side was very cool. She frowned at that, she went around and check if there was anything that is making the granite top cool and discovered there was a cooler beneath it. ‘Goddess! I remember Mom always complaining that the top is not cool enough to make perfect pie dough. Now I have one!’ Tears were already flowing out of Tara’s eyes. Of course they were tears of joy. After she toured the whole house, finding that she got a few rooms upstairs and a couple of rooms on the first floor. She decided to check out the backyard and once she got to see it; she absent-mindedly noted to have a garden so she could grow her own vegetables and some fruits just like they did back home before her mother died.

Tara thought about Willow and told herself that she would want to go and see how Willow is doing after the meeting. She smiled at that thought knowing Willow would want to know everything that went on with Tara and so would Tara about Willow’s.

*~*~*~*

Ding Dong! Ding Dong!

“Hey Tara! Come on in…” Willow greeted cheekily, motioning Tara to pass through the door. “How’s the meeting? I am gonna tell you about the Scooby meeting but nothing bad is brewing, which is definitely good thing…Giles is gonna be out of town for a week to England for something to do with the Watcher’s Council and Buffy wasn’t really happy about it, you know…Giles is already like a father figure for all of us so it sort of reminded her of her real father who just picked up and left with his secretary so I had to comfort her until she was okay enough to patrol and she walked me home, insisting that she does the patrol alone.” Willow babbled innocently.

“Willow, you are really incredible! I am glad she got a great friend like you!” Tara praised.

“Thanks Tara, so hmm…sorry if I babbled first without letting you answer me. So now all ears for you, my lips all zippy.” Willow gestured her lips being zipped.

Tara giggled at that sight, wondering how more adorable would Willow be! So she began her story about today, walking with Willow into the kitchen to grab something to snack on before heading upstairs.

“Wow! A house?! You are only seventeen!” Willow gasped and took a breath before resuming, “At least you are gonna be safe from your father and brother. I like it when you are all safe and bruise-y free.” Willow smiled and reached for Tara for a long embrace.

Reveling in Willow’s warm embrace, Tara spoke gently, “Yeah, but my lawyer will be my temporary guardian only until my eighteenth birthday. I am going to get a car tomorrow morning so would u go with me so you can help me pick one? I could have anything but I don’t want anything too fancy, you know.” Tara pulled away slightly only to look into Willow’s green orbs, waiting for her to respond.

“Yes Tara, I will go with you and I don’t think I should have the honor to pick one since you know…” Willow trailed, with sadness in her voice.

“Why don’t u think you should? Is there something wrong?” Tara brushed few red hair strands away from Willow’s face.

“It is just that…umm, it’s like something important, you know…I mean, I want something more than just our friendship, you know…I think it would be nice if—“

“If we were more than just friends, like girlfriends.” Tara finished.

Willow nodded, agreeing to what Tara just said.

“Are you ready to take that level and make it official?” Tara asked nervously.

“Yes, but I want to be ready when you are.”

“I am.”

“What? You mean…”

“I mean.” With that, Tara leaned forward, her lips finding Willow’s.

Their mouths met with surging sensations, they chose to keep themselves at bay, just savoring the taste of their lips. They were at that way for a long moment, just enjoying the wonderful connection between them. Until both of them wanted more, they tightened their embrace, their kisses becoming more frequent with increasing passion. Tara felt Willow struggling to stand up as she moved her lips along Willow’s jaw line before meeting her smooth neck, with that she gently led her to bed. When Willow felt the bed against the back of her lower thighs, she sat down, pulling Tara with her until they both are lying down, intertwined with each other, not breaking contact.

“Goddess, more…” Willow moaned, thrusting her hips looking for some friction jean-clad pussy.

“Yeah, baby I am going to give you more of everything u want. I only want to give myself to you completely.” Tara spoke with her mouth so close to her ear, sending sweet sensations with her hot breath.

‘Everything? Is she actually a virgin, isn’t she?’ Willow questioned.

“Tara, can I ask you something?” Willow asked almost failing to resist getting back to ravishing Tara’s lips.

“Yes, ask me anything, you know that.” Tara began nibbling along Willow’s smooth neck, making Willow moan in pleasure.

“A-Are you a virgin?” Willow barely got the entire question out. Running her left hand through the silky blonde hair.

“Yes, I am…Goddess! I’m sorry if I didn’t tell u I am virgin!” Tara began to get up but Willow tightens her grasp on her, making Tara look down at Willow in question.

“That’s okay and I am a virgin too. I want to do this with you but do you?” Willow gazing into Tara’s blues, smiling her soft Willow-grin.

“You a virgin? I-I-I thought you and Oz…” Tara’s lips were silenced by Willow’s fingers.

“No, we haven’t and you will be my first and hopefully last.” Willow looked at her, caressing her left temple with her thumb.

“Perfect.” Tara lowered her head until her lips met Willow’s.

They were kissing with so much passion, already their bodies are dancing with euphoric sensation. Tara wanted to feel Willow completely, taking the hem of her baby tee shirt and raised it up to Willow’s midsection. Tara slipped her left hand until it reached to Willow’s right breast covered with lace and cotton but she could feel her erected nipple through the cloth. Tara smiled knowingly.

“Tara, I love this! Please more…” Willow urged.

Tara complied and gave her other breast the same treatment. Willow almost came and never expected how great Tara is making her feel. Tara leaned back, sitting up, smiling at the whimpering noises coming from Willow and began to strip herself out of her top and her bra. Willow was already aroused with Tara’s striptease and wanted to do the same. Willow flipped Tara onto her back, surprising Tara slightly. Tara was smiling her lop-sided grin, watching Willow with adoration.
