Dr House is a great show TV !
I don't watch it since a long time cause it just start here in France ! :(
The all translation think take time (a lot of times !)

I don't know i it's me but i tend to feel like Dr House is a lot like Dr Cox in scrubs, even if Dr Cox same more like an human being. lol

And i don't know if it's something happen only in the season one but each episode same to have the same way : Every Dr have they therory BUT only the Dr House one is good and bla bla bla

I really love this show !

As regards the current Cameron/Chase setup i am right in thinking the two actors are engaged aren't they? Now that's taking method acting to a new level...:)

I thought they had gotten married...but they were engaged. I get the whole "life imitating art" thing, but I miss the whole Cameron/House dynamic.

Is there any definite word concerning the rumors that next season there will be wholesale cast changes, along with possible serious changes in the format??

I read that everyone will be back, but there will a few new cast members as well. As for how they are going to find the time for all those people in a storyline which is crowded already, no one seems to have a clue. As long as Cameron is still around, and House is still House, I 'll be happy.

Yeah, that sounds like what I read...

- spoiler stuff, I guess -

...that everyone will be back plus some new ones. What I read said there would be 4 new people, but that two of them would only be on for a two-ep arc. I got the impression that Cameron, Chase, and Forman might not still be working under House, but they will still be at the hospital. Who knows. My understanding is that those spoilers are kind of iffy, but as far as I know, they are the only ones that have come out.

Here's an article about the 4 new cast members, from cnn:

'House' gets a new group of trainees

LOS ANGELES, California (Hollywood Reporter) -- Olivia Wilde, Kal Penn, Peter Jacobson and Anne Dudek have landed recurring roles on Fox's hit medical drama "House."

The four are expected to play characters who will be brought in after the resignations of House's (Hugh Laurie) underlings Foreman (Omar Epps) and Cameron (Jennifer Morrison) and the firing of Chase (Jesse Spencer).

Wilde will play a young doctor called Thirteen who will work closely with House. She most recently was on NBC's "Black Donnellys" and has had roles on Fox's "The O.C." and "Skin" and in the films "Alpha Dog" and "Turistas."

Penn co-starred in the film "Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle" and its upcoming sequel and had a role last season on Fox's "24."

Jacobson is on the big screen in "Transformers" and most recently appeared on television in USA Network's miniseries "The Starter Wife."

Dudek most recently appeared in ABC's "Big Day" and had a recurring role on Fox's "Bones."

I understand that a TV Guide article said that Foreman, Chase, and Cameron will still be on the show. I'm guessing that surely they'll have less screen time, though. Don't really know the details.

Of the new 4, I'm only familiar with Kal Penn. I'll be interested to see how things go in the new season with all these new people. I liked the show the way it was, but it's probably time to shake things up.

Thanks for the info, I hadn't seen that. The only one of the four that I am familiar with is Wilde, who I can tell you was the best thing about The Black Donnellys. Which isn't saying much really, since it wasn't all that good a show. I can live with a little less Foreman and Chase, but less Cameron is defintely bad news as far as I'm concerned.

Good golly, Miss Molly, I can't believe I had to bump this thread! :shock

[The just-mentioned Olivia Wilde, above, who---between her character, "Thirteen" (somebody tell me why she's called that?) and herself---is the new hot bisexual It Grrl]

I'm not a regular viewer of the show, but I had heard about tonight's hot girl-on-girl action . . . and then I missed the first half! :gnome

...but at least I caught the preview, available (for drooling :drool) here: http://www.afterellen.com/blog/sarahwarn/olivia-wilde-in-hot-house-makeout-promo?page=2

GG The second half was sweet, though ultimately emotionally unsatisfying, in terms of THESE two becoming a couple :rolleyes Out

...but a bit more girl-on-girl at the end, so?

What did y'all think?

It has taken me a while to get into this show, but it has grown on me and I try to catch every episode now.
From wikipedia (faster than having to type it up myself, heh):
"Thirteen" comes from the character's introduction: House assigned her the number during an extended competition for the job and persistently used it in reference to her; she did not correct him with her real name, and the nickname stuck.

I prefer the new team members over the old ones, both Chase and Foreman irked me to no end. I´m looking forward to the new season, I hope it won´t be too long before I get to see it here.

Yup, "13" is actually named Hadley and is bi (although seems to prefer women). House didn't even have to watch "The L Word" on mute! :lol

Wilson seems to have finally gotten House's number and is just as good at "scamming" him as vice versa. ;-)

It's nice to note that the new team seems to take a lot less crap from House.

Very good ep, and great to see so much of Olivia Wilde. So much of her on screen I mean. Acting and all. Yeah.

Seriously, she was very good and the writing on the show is still at a very high level. I wasn't entirely convinced by Wilson's forgiveness of House in the previous ep but it is great to see them one-upping each other again. And hey, I really like the original Cottages and I'm glad they are still around. Although I'll admit that the show doesn't really need them anymore. But what show wouldn't be improved by having Jennifer Morrison in a couple of scenes each week? I rest my case.

Ok, so, I've been catching up to this in reruns and syndication and I can say unequivocally that I do not like Thirteen, I like "Fourteen" (Thirteen + Foreman) even less. And if they don't quit beating the dead horse of her bisexuality I'm gonna send an email.

She occasionally likes chicks!!

We get it!!
