I have to agree that by the end of season 1 I was a bit irritated, mainly because I couldn't see the attraction to Sugar, and thought Kim could do better!

It reminded me of my younger days a bit - making an idiot of myself over some totally straight, but teasing, girl. :happy Obviously I don't do that at all now :whistle

Anyhow, I take my girl-on-girl smooches where I can find them, so will be tuning in on the 15th, just in case Kim got a clue...and the spanking in the trailer does suggest that she has... ;-)

Its funny because watching the show for the first time i had a massive crush on Sugar. But after watching it all again on DVD my crush tranferred onto Kim. And that spanking part in the trailer does look great :thud
I'd still like to do naughty things with Sugar though!!

This show is great. Anybody else really like Beth? It's a shame she probably won't be back.

I quite like the new girlfriend - Sarah? Saint? Both? She has a nice quirky smile, a wonky fringe and a northern accent. And she works in a sex shop called the Munch Box!

I worry that she won't be around much longer :paranoid

I saw most of the first series but i never really got into it, i think i just wasnt really into sugar's character, i didnt see the appeal. But im loving the second series! it just keeps getting better, and funnier...and kim got hotter! saints quite a cool character too, i hope they get a happy ending. im in brighton this weekend, im gnna have to look out for the munch box and see if it really exists lol. For anyone who hasnt seen this show yet, youtube has most if not all the episodes, broken down into a few parts, good quality too. Enjoy!

I am an addict to Sugar Rush i admit.

Saint is a very cool chick! But kim... wow shes damn hot. Did anyone ever watch 'Girls In Love'? Hallinan played 'Ellie' a very cute role! But since then she has gotten veeery fit i agree.

I missed a few eps, does anyone know the best place to read over whats happened at least? i need to know! *twitches* :-| seeing as youtube is being a bumhead...

I'm gonna miss all those Sugar one liners. Like when she said that she wasn't going to pole dance cuz she'd get molested. And damn right she would!! Fingers crossed for a 3rd series.
dynigirl i will also be at the front of the DVD queue on monday so i'll say hi :party

are there any rumours of a third series? It's a bit early yet I know, but still...I need my Sugar Rush.

A quick surf around the internet suggests that the fans would like a thrid series, but that there has been no official confirmation.

I really must stop surfing though, the spelling is atrocious! It took me ages to work out whether I agreed that "Der has gota b a 3rd series. i ent gay or nufin but u can relate 2 it if u ent gay or w/e".

It must be my age :blush

It's not. It's just really atrocious abuse of language.

My girlfriend's sister just sent us Seasons 1 & 2 over from the UK and we sat down and watched all the episodes this weekend.

Okay, it's aboslutely hilarious. I havent watched a TV series in ages that has made me crack up so much. Love the biting, sadistic-style, blatant humour. It's so totally un-PC its fantastic, I'm sick of all the insipid shows on TV trying to be hip and original that just make you wanna barf. This show is hip and orginal and well worth watching!

Cheers

British shows sweep world Emmys

British shows Life on Mars and Little Britain were among the winners at this year's International Emmy awards.

Life On Mars was named best drama series at the New York event, while Little Britain won best comedy.

Ray Winstone was crowned best actor for his role in ITV1 drama Vincent, while Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares show won for "non-scripted entertainment".

Irish comedian Graham Norton hosted the ceremony, which honoured television programmes produced outside the US.

Another UK series, Channel 4's Sugar Rush, won in the children and young people category.

British productions had been nominated in all nine Emmy categories.

Isn't it strange that Sugar Rush won an Emmy in the Childrens category...? I mean... not that i'm not happy that it won, because I am :party and I really want a third series! But it's not exactly a series I thought kids would watch...or is that just me thinking that?

I love sugar rush, all of the characters are great and there's alot of sarcasm and humour in it and Kim is super hot. I am so gutted that they are not doing a third series.:(
