Where would you rather be?

I would rather be in Seatle walking on the beach.

cause, as everyone should know, the beach is better then being stuck in school. :-D

I would rather be at the sunny top of a grassy hill, sitting beneath a tree with nothing to do but listen to the birds sing.

Laying in a rowboat on a still pond or lake just floating and listening to the sounds around me. That just seems so Zen.

i'd rather be in bed. with company, preferably.

in the alternative, i'd love to be at my favorite folk festival, lying on the grass listening to music until it gets so hot we have to make a trip to the local swimming hole.

In a log cabin near a lake with kindagay as my log cabin neighbour.

Miss Shoe can come too, if she wants. ;)

It was as obvious as a blow to the head, and I actually saw that one coming. :shock

I swear I have the humour level of a 10 year old today, sorry. :blush I shocked my colleagues by saying something deeply inappropriate and smutty about a pirate's costume earlier...

I would rather be walking barefoot on a beach, with the sea lapping round my toes.

so you're saying you have a foot fetish, eh?

at this particular moment i would rather be with "new girl" up in brattleboro instead of sitting at my desk working on a fake appellate brief for an enemy combatant.

I know where your mind took you on that one!

Where I wanna be? I wish I was snuggled up in bed.

I'm feeling sorry for willowlover, 'cos we seem to have hijacked her thread for larking around in!

I must echo Candleshoe's sentiments. I am fortunate in living only an hour from the Oregon coast.

I would add a little company to that though and not a worry in the world.

Candleshoe you don't need to feel bad. I made this thread because i love to see how off topic it can become and still remain on topic. LOL. Nomatter how I communicate (talking, typing, etc.) I'm always the one who sits back and listens to what everyone else has to say. And of course throw a word or two into the conversation.

I can't think of anywhere I'd rather be right this minute than where I am now. For the first time in a long time, I feel quite content. ::: BIG sigh :::

But if you're twisting my arm, then I'd have to say on a beach somewhere in the Cayman Islands watching the sunset, having a cocktail with one of those little umbrellas in it, after a long day of snorkeling.

I wish I was in Lanzarote at this very moment walking along a beach, the sound of bars playing their music in the distance and the moon's light bouncing off the sea. A cool breeze blowing through my hair and the sand beneath my bare feet.

I wish....
