Part 14.



Donnie had walked into the bronze and saw a tall blond haired blue eyed girl. He put on the charm and pretended to accidentally walk into her. He turned around and said sorry as the girl looked Joey's body up and down. "I'm not." She said. Donnie put on Joey's sweet and innocent smile.



"You wanna dance?" The girl asked. Donnie nodded his head. 'This is going to be easier than i thought.' Donnie said in his head.



Tara and Buffy had walked into the bronze looking for him. Tara spotted him and pointed to the middle of the dance floor. Where Donnie and the girl were grinding against each other.



Buffy came up behind him and tapped him on the shoulder. He turned around. "Hey Donnie." Buffy said before punching him and knocking him unconscious.



They dragged him outside into the back alley where he started to come to.



"What the hell did you do that for? You know it's a waste of time. You can't hurt me." He said. "Why not" Buffy asked. "Not my body." He answered. Tara saw something in his pocket and reached for it. She pulled out a crystal and threw it at the wall. Shattering it. Joey's body started to fade away as Donnie's started to come through.



"Why would you do something like this, Donnie?" Tara asked. "Why do you think? To get some. Duh." He said rolling his eyes.



Tara started to get angry. "Where's Joey, Faith, and Trey." Buffy asked, trying to get Tara to calm down a little. "Oh. They're safe for now. Joey's waiting for me so could we make this quick." He said standing up.



"You son of a bitch!!" Tara screamed. She lunged at him. She tackled him to the ground and started punching him. "Whoa Tara. Didn't know you liked it rough. Trey never did." Donnie said laughing.



"You fucking bastard!" Tara got up and started kicking him in his stomach. Over and over again. He started to yell a little as he started to feel the full effect of his injuries



Buffy grabbed Tara and tried to pull her back. But with amazing strength Tara pushed Buffy and started beating him up again.

Willow came home and found Dawn in the kitchen making a sand which and chips.



"Hey Dawnie. Where is everyone?" Willow asked. Dawn told her everything.



"When did they leave?" She asked. "About twenty minutes ago." Willow grabbed her coat and left.



Dawn picked up the tray of food and took it down into the basement. She found Andi sitting on the cot listening to music.



"Hey Andi. I brought you something to eat." "Not hungry." Andi said. "Okay. What are you listening to?" "Music." She said. Dawn stopped to listen to what she was listening to. Since Andi obviously wasn't going to tell her.

Dawn saw a tear slide down Andi's cheek.



"Andi. Trey's not gone." Dawn said. "I know but who knows what could happen to her. She's already been through so much."



Now the tears started coming as Andi broke down and Dawn grabbed her and pulled her into her arms as Dawn herself silently cried knowing that Andi was right.

Willow had been walking when she heard screaming and yelling coming from the alley by the Bronze.



She turned the corner and saw Tara beating the shit out of Donnie and Buffy was having a hard time getting her to stop.



Willow ran up behind Tara and grabbed her by the waist as she struggled to kick him again. Willow held down er arms as they slid to the ground.



Buffy went over to make sure he wasn't dead or anything. He was unconscious but still had a steady pulse. Buffy looked over at her to friends and saw Tara still trying to pull away but not as fierce as before and Willow was whispering things in her ear.



"So what do we do?" Willow asked Buffy. "I think we should get him to the house and get him to tell us what Mr. Maclay is going to do." Buffy answered as she picked Donnie up and started walking. Willow helped Tara up as they followed Buffy.



A man came out of the shadows as the girls walked away.



"Oh Donnie. That's what you get for having too much fun." Mr. Maclay said as he went back into the bronze to get everything set up for tomorrow.

Chapter 15.

Buffy had tied Donnie down in the basement. So now Andi was bunking with Dawn. Buffy was downstairs with Willow as she gave Donnie a drink of water.



"Better?" Buffy said. Not really caring. Donnie nodded his head. He had been unconscious for awhile from Tara's beating. And now the bruises were showing clearly on his face and arms.



"Okay. Now talk. What are you and your dad up too?" Buffy asked. "Well what if I don't tell you?" He said hesitantly. Buffy just looked at him. He rolled his eyes and said 'fine'.



"What do you wanna know?" "Where are Faith, Joey, and Trey?" Buffy asked. "They're locked up in our basement. Don't worry they're still alive. For now." He said. "What do you mean for now? What are you going to do?" Willow said. Starting to get angry. She was kind of envious that Tara got to hit him but she hasn't.



"Think about it, Buffy. The times have equaled red." Donnie said, as one of the ropes fell off his arm. He went to the next one using his knife to cut it.



Buffy was sitting there lost in thought before her eyes went wide and she looked straight at Donnie.



"You...you can't do that." She said. Donnie just smiled and laughed. "Oh yes we can and we will. I just need to get to my dad and everything will be ours." "Well that will never happen." Buffy said.



Donnie stood up as the ropes fell to the floor. "Beg to differ." He said as he grabbed Willow and went to the window. He was holding the knife to Willow's throat as he backed up to the window.



He opened it then turned back to Buffy.



"I'll be seeing you real soon." He said as he slit Willow's throat and dove out the window.Buffy saw Willow's body fall to the floor as blood spilled out in a puddle underneath her.



Buffy dove at her as she fell out of bed.



Buffy looked around and saw the familiar settings of her room, then her mind flashed back to Willow's lifeless body on the floor and she ran to the bathroom.

The next morning Buffy unlocked the basement door and went down there. Already knowing what she would find. She saw the ropes on the floor along with a knife and the window was open.



She picked up the knife and went upstairs.



Everyone was in the kitchen. Tara was making pancakes. They weren't the funny shaped pancakes and it was dead silent.



Buffy came in. "Willow, Tara. When you guys are done in here can you come to my room I need to talk to you." Willow and Tara nodded as they gave Dawn and Andi plates and walked out of the room.



They met Buffy upstairs.



"What's up Buffy?" Willow asked grabbing Tara's hand. "I had a dream." she said, closing the door. "One of your prophecy dreams?" Tara asked. Buffy nodded.



"In the the dream Donnie started talking about what Mr. Maclay was doing but he had a knife and cut free and got away." Buffy said showing them the knife. "So he's gone." Willow said. "Damnit!"



"No it's okay. See I know what they're up too now. They are going to try and resurrect Satan himself." Buffy said as both Willow and Tara's eyes went wide. "Can they do that?" Willow asked.



"Yes. Tara? You know the saying The times have equaled red?" Buffy asked. "Y-y-yes. It w-was back in the d-dark ages and some people found a s-spell that would bring him forth to d-d-destroy the world and all the bad in it." Tara said.



Willow saw the look on her girlfriends face. "What is it, baby?" "I j-just remember reading something about it. About how they needed three different types of blood. Pure blood, corrupted blood, and bad blood." She said.



Willow gasped, "Faith, Joey, and Trey! He's going to use they're blood. Faith has bad blood, Trey has pure blood, and I guess Joey has corrupted."



Buffy got up. "We need to stop them. He is going to use this to gain control of the world. Any idea where this thing is going to happen at?" "Well he needs a big enough place but the most powerful would be where Satan was condemned back to hell." Tara said.



Willow and Buffy looked at her. "What? Well I don't know." Tara said.



Buffy picked up the phone. "Ya Xander? Hey it's me. Listen you and Anya need to come over right now. We have a huge problem."

Chapter 16.

It was four o' clock when Buffy, Xander, and Willow got back from looking for Mr. Maclay and Donnie. They had found nothing.



"They're here. Did you guys find anything?" Dawn asked coming out of the kitchen. "Not a thing." Xander said. "Good." They heard Tara say as she followed Dawn into the room.



Everyone looked at her.



"Well not good, but it's good for me." Tara tried to explain. And the four scoobies still looking at her like she's crazy. "Nevermind. Just forget I said anything." Tara cleared her throaght. "Hey guys. Sorry you didn't find anything, but I might of."



Willow smirked at how cute her girlfriend was trying to be all information-y. "What is it, honey?"



"Well back in the 1400's. 1406 to be exact. A guy named Lush Charlotte was the leader of an occult group of seven people." Tara said handing Buffy a picture of the guy.



"This wasn't a usual occult. This was a group that worshipped God and Morals. They were against the witches, homosexuality, and the people who claimed they could talk to ghosts." Tara continued. "Well one day Lush was out praying in the woods. When two teenage girls walked by. About Dawn's age. They were talking about herbs and oils and they were holding hands." Tara handed another picture to Buffy of the two girls.



"Of course Mr. Charlotte's accusations got the best of him and he stabbed the two girls before crucifying and leaving them for dead. There was a picture of that but I figured you guys didn't need to see it." Buffy and Willow nodded there heads.



"What else?" Buffy asked. "Well the guy started stabbing and crucifying people he thought were sinful. When one day he thought the world was over populated with sinful people and that if he and the other group members spent there entire lives getting rid of them. They would still be all over the place."



"That's why he arose Satan and tried to destroy the world but a girl named Clarisse stopped him." Buffy looked up. "The slayer?" Tara nodded. "She defeated him here." Tara said handing another picture to Buffy."The Bronze." Willow said, seeing the picture.



Buffy put the picture down and got everyone together in the living room. "Okay. We are going to go there and we are going to kick Mr. Maclay and Donnie and possibly Satan's ass. Any questions?"



No one said anything until Dawn raised her hand.



"All of us?" Buffy smiled and nodded. Dawn smiled back and turned to Andi. Whom was stairing at the front door, as if waiting for someone to walk through at any moment.



Everyone else was also looking. Dawn looked at Buffy then grabbed Andi's hand getting her attention. Dawn whispered something in her ear and Andi nodded.



They started up the stairs.



"What time are we going?" Dawn asked. "Right before sunset." Buffy answered. "Everyone be ready."

That was sixteen. I have to warn everyone that the next chapter is the fight seen and I read it to my cousin and she started crying. So i'm telling you now a lot of might hate me for it.

Here is the last chapter of the story. I hope you enjoy and don't hate me.



Chapter 17

The time came it was five minutes before the sun was fully set when the gang pulled up outside of The Bronze. They got out and went to the side door in the alley.



Buffy looking through a window and gave Andi a signal. Andi pulled out a bobbi pin and a piece of metal wire and unlocked the door. They went in and hid. They saw a huge hole in the middle of the club and a hole right above it in the ceiling and tied in between the holes and off to the side was a long wooden pole with Joey, Faith and Trey tied to it.



They didn't see Mr. Maclay or Donnie. Then a door opened and out walked Mr. Maclay.



He was wearing a long dark brown robe with a hoodie.



He walked to the tied up girls. "Hey. You all ready to be eaten?" He said laughing. "Not today."



Mr. Maclay turned around and saw Buffy standing there with Xander, Willow, and Dawn to her left and Tara, Anya, and Andi to her right.



"What are you going to do Slayer? Quip us to death." "Actually I was more thinking we'd kill you. 'Cause you know seven of us, ten when we get our friends down, and only one of you." Buffy said as Mr. Maclay smiled.



"Oh, come now Buffy. Did you really think I would come unarmed?" Then at least a dozen vampire came out of the shadows all around the group. "Gulp." Xander said.



"You three handle those six. You three handle those six. I've got Mr. Maclay. When I get him distracted someone get Faith and the others down." Buffy said. Everyone nodded and went to where they were supposed to fight.



"Well Buffy. I'm glad it's you and me fighting to the death and all, but i've got plans." He said as three vampires rushed her from behind. Mr. Maclay turned around to start the ritual. He saw Faith right before she punched him.



Dawn had taken out two of the vampires that were on her and Willow. A guy dressed all in black with scars all over him came up behind Andi and raised his sword to her head.Xander saw this and pushed Andi out of the way as the sword went through his throat.



He fell to the ground next to Andi. Andi looked up anger and tears burning in her eyes.



"You killed my dad. You bitch!" Then she went running at him. "Andi! NO!" Trey yelled, but it was too late. Andi was already flying halfway across the room. She hit the wall and was knocked unconscious. Burn marks from the lighting bolts the guy had sent through her when she touched him, were still sizzling.



As Trey was looking at Andi. A huge vampire came up behind her, picked her up by the throat and threw her. She would have fallen down the hole but she hit the pole then landed into some tables.



No one saw Donnie in the shadows. No one knew he was there, waiting. Then he lifted his gun and cocked it. He pointed it ready to shoot.



Dawn was watching her girlfriend get choked to death and didn't know what to do. Then she saw Anya stake the guy from behind.



Dawn finished off the vampire she was fighting and went running to Joey.As soon as she put her arms around Joey's neck the bullet pierced her back.



Dawn's eyes went wide and her breath hitched. Joey brought her hands up to Dawn's back and felt the warm liquid. No matter how much she didn't want to she lifted her hand and saw the blood.



Joey looked into Dawn's eyes and saw her pupils dilate. Then Dawn crumpled to the ground.



Donnie was laughing.



He looked over and saw his sister, Tara. God how he hated her. He cocked his gun and got ready to shoot.



Nothing happened.



He was out of bullets. "Damn!" He said. Donnie looked around and saw a bat. He picked it up and came up behind Tara.



"Hey sister." He said before slamming the bat into her head. Tara flew back into the wall with such force. Almost the entire wall fell on her.



Willow saw and ran at him screaming.



She pulled out the knife and stabbed him with it. "Just returning your knife." She said before pushing him down the hole.



As soon as Mr. Maclay saw his son get pushed, he knew he couldn't finish the ritual. So he ran.



Buffy finished off the last two vampires and was looking around for Faith. Then she saw her. Faith was hanging on the wall, rope tied around her wrists. Buffy ran to her.



"Faith? Baby? Oh my God. Come on, lets get you down." "Buffy. I ca..." Faith tried to say. "What?" Buffy asked.



Faith looked down at her chest. Buffy didn't quite understand, but she moved her fingers right under Faith's rib cage and felt the very tip of the huge shard of glass Faith was hanging on.



Faith looked at her. "Buffy you...have to." Buffy's eyes went wide. She shook her head. "No! Faith no! I can't, I won't!" "B. Please, It...h...hurts." Faith said.



Buffy shook her head again.



She leaned up and kissed Faith for the last time. Then she put a hand on each side of Faith and pushed her farther onto the shard of glass. Buffy closed her eyes and Faith's body went limp.



Buffy looked around and it finally hit her. They lost.



Trey was stroking Andi's hair whispering for her to wake up. Anya was crying over Xander's lifeless body. Joey was crying and kissing Dawn's hand. Sitting in a pool of Dawn's blood. And Willow was picking Tara's unconscious body up out of the ruble.



Buffy broke down and fell to Faith's feet as sirens could be heard down the street.

Two weeks later.



Buffy, Anya, Trey, and Andi had just left the hospital. Willow was still there, sleeping next to Tara's bed. As Tara lay in a coma.



Buffy and Anya helped Trey and Andi out of the car. Trey had a broken arm and a sprained ankle, while Andi was having trouble walking among other easy things.



Buffy went around to the back yard.



The day before she had buried three of the most important people in her life.



There were three headstones and fresh graves in the back of the Summer's yard underneath three trees. Buffy put flowers on each grave. Then walked back to the house.She opened the door and turned back around.



The sky was blue, not a cloud in sight. Birds were chirping and kids played. She looked up at the sky.



"That's it. I'm done." She said. "I don't care what you say. I will find the next slayer. Train her, but then that's it. I retire." Buffy said.



Closing the door on her Destiny.

Have u planed to end it like this for the whole time, or was this the fastest ending? I am kinda in shock, that someone would kill anyone from the scoobies...normaly u have to write a sequal to show how they r living without their partners, how Buffy found the next slayer and how she lived her life after that and if Tara would wake up from the coma! Those are all very important informations!



But otherwise ur story was great, very sad ending, but good

Okay, I've been reading this quietly but never left feedback, but, I feel strongly enough to write something now.



Whilst I absolutely loved your story, I have to agree with SoL... Are you really leaving it there????

That's not a happy ending, half of the scoobies dead - each leaving a bereaved lover. & Willow left just sat by Tara's side hoping & praying that her girl will one day wake up & be okay.



You can't leave it there - I beg of you, please write another chapter, just, something so that we know Tara's okay & so we know that everyone's dealing with their losses.

Prologue, Epilogue.

It has been six months since the incident happened.Buffy was being woke up by Trey shaking her.



"Buffy, Buffy?" trey said. "Uh...what?" Buffy said grouchily. "Tara's Doctor is on the phone for you." Buffy got up and went downstairs picking up the receiver.



"Hello, Dr. Jones." Buffy said. "Hi Ms. Summers. I am sure you know what today is?" The Dr. said. "Yes. She still hasn't shown any sign of waking up?" "No i'm afraid not. Would you like me to tell Ms. Rosenberg or would you rather you did it?" The Doctor asked. "I think I should." "Very well. See you soon." "Bye."



Buffy hung up the phone and turned to see Anya in the doorway. Buffy shook her head as tears formed in her eyes. Anya pulled her into a hug.

An hour later Buffy and Anya were on there way to the hospital. They walked into Tara's room seeing Willow resting her head on Tara's hand.



"Hey Will." Willow looked up. "Hey." "Um...Will can I talk to you?" Buffy asked. Willow was about to say no, but Anya touched Willow's shoulder. "I'll watch her." Willow nodded then followed Buffy into the hallway.



"What's up Buff?" Willow asked. "Well....I don't know how to tell you but.....it's been six months...." Buffy said not quite finishing. Willow looked at her like 'so what'. "We have to pull the plug." Buffy said.



Willow's eyes went wide. "What!! Buffy how can you say that she will wake up. She'll come back to me. It just takes some time." Willow said about ready to cry. "I'm sorry Will, but we have to. Don't be mad ple..." "When?" Willow asked. "Two o' clock."



Willow turned around and walked back into the room.

"God! This sucks!!" "Dawn. Will you quit yelling, please." Xander said sitting on a white stool with Dawn pacing in front of him.



"It just isn't fair. We sit up here and watch our friends and families lives get destroyed." Dawn said watching Willow walk away from Buffy.



"Dawn. It's okay." Faith said. "Of course it's okay. Everything is peachy." Dawn rolled her eyes.



"At least Xander and I have had sex before. I feel real sorry for you." Faith said smirking. "That is not funny." Then Dawn went over and started to hitting the pinkish white clouds that surrounded them.



"Come on. Will you hurry up. Damn!" Xander and Faith got up. "Air hockey?"

It was five minutes to two. Willow kissed Tara's head and knelt down next to her.



"Come on Tara baby. You have to get up. What am I going to do without you? Who am I going to stay up snuggling with? Whose going to stop me from going nuts?" Tears started to run down her cheeks.



"Where am I ever going to see the shade of blue that I see when you smile? When your confused? When your horny?" Willow smiled.



"Please baby," Willow put her forehead to Tara's. "You said I could keep you." She whispered.



Buffy watched Willow talk to Tara. She turned and saw the Doctor walking to the room. Buffy herself was praying that Tara would wake up before the doctor got there. Then she heard Willow shout.



Tara's hand flinched, then her eyes started flickering.



"Tara? Tara!" Buffy ran into the room as Tara's eyes opened.

Hey all. sorry it's taken so long I've been trying to come up with ideas. Sorry I don't have time to do individual responses but I just have to say that the ending of the first part was planned not just the fastest way.



Here you go.





Chapter 1.

Tara's eyes opened and she looked up at Willow who had the biggest, brightest smile on her face. Until.....



"Who are you? Where am I?" Tara said confused. Willow's smile faded instantly. "Tara it's me. Willow. Your girlfriend." "I don't know any Willow." Tara said getting scared. She had no idea where or who she was and didn't know this woman in front of her saying that she was gay and stuff.



Buffy came in. "Tara? Oh my God." Buffy hugged her as Tara tried to pull away, but slayer strength kept her there. Willow had slunk back onto the floor next to the door as the doctor came in.



Willow grabbed his leg and pulled him to the ground.



"What happened to her? Why doesn't she remember?" Willow asked frantic. Almost angry. "Miss Rosenberg. What are you talking about?" The doctor asked standing up and smoothing out his white coat.



"She doesn't remember me. What did you do to her?!" Willow practically screamed. Buffy grabbed her and hugged her turning to the doctor as the redhead cried.



"What's going on Doctor?" Buffy asked.



He walked over to Tara's bed and checked her pulse and IV bag. "How are you feeling Tara?" The doctor asked totally ignoring Buffy's question. "Who are you? Where am I?" Tara asked again. On the verge of tears.



"You are at the Sunnydale Memorial Hospital. You were stuck under a pile of debris when a very powerful earthquake hit." The doctor said calmly.



"Do you not remember anything, Tara?" She shook her head. The doctor turned to Buffy who was still holding onto Willow.



"I'll run some tests on her. She probably has mild amnesia, but we'll figure it out." He said. The walking out the door.

Faith sat up in bed. Sweating profusely. She looked around then ran to where Dawn was sleeping.



Dawn was awake and saw Faith run in. "What is it?" She asked. "Something's coming. I don't know what but something is definitely coming."



"God! When are they going to get us out of here and back where we belong." Dawn said screaming.



Then a voice, booming like on an intercom came into the room.



"Soon little one. Soon." The voice said. "Will you stop calling me 'little one'. It's not my name." Dawn said grinding her teeth together.



"Is something coming?" Faith asked. "Yes. Something powerful is coming to Sunnydale. And the slayer won't be able to handle it." The voice said. "Well we should be down there helping." Dawn said.



"You'll have to wait till the time is right." "When will that be? When there all dead." Dawn shot at the voice, bitterly. "Dawn!" Faith yelled.



"Get some sleep now." The voice finished.Dawn huffed and laid back down thinking about Joey.

Sorry everyone this is not an update. Im in a rut and I can't get out. I am having trouble being a little morbid 'cause you know, because I am going out with the most amazing girl and I can't seem to think about anything but her.

Part 2.

Willow and Buffy brought Tara home. Finally. After about three days of tests.



It turned out that Tara did have mild amnesia and there was a really good chance it wouldn't last long. They said she just needed to be around familiar things and people.



So Willow and Buffy decided to spend the first few nights at home. Getting used to everything and then they would expand. Magic Box. The High School. Old Dorm Rooms.



Tara was looking around at everything. Anything that could get her to remember.



She looked over to Willow. "Can I...?" Tara pointed up the stairs. Willow nodded. "You can go wherever you want." Willow said smiling.



Tara nodded and headed up the stairs.



She decided to start at the far end. For some reason wanting to go into the one by the stairs last.



She walked into Buffy's room. Nothing really stuck out at her excepy for some pictures.



She walked over and looked at them.



A memory flashed in her head for not even a second. It was her and Dawn sitting on the swings at the park.



There were other pictures but nothing else she could remember. The name stuck with her though. Dawn.



She walked out closing the door then opened the door to Dawn's room. She looked around then saw a young girl sleeping on the bed.



Tara looked closer. The girl had streaks down her face. She had been crying.



Tara decided to leave not wanting to disturb the girl but she did want to talk to her later.



Finally she got to the last bedroom.It felt so warm and inviting just standing outside of it.



She opened the door and walked in.



She looked around. Everything was so familiar but she couldn'r remember any of it. The picture of herself and the petite redhead was on the table beside the bed.



'I guess that proves were together' She thought with a smile.



Tara sat down on the bed.



She felt so many things but nothing she remembered. She layed down and closed her eyes trying to save every feeling and moment.

Willow was downstairs making something to eat. She hadn't heard or seen Tara for about a half an hour. She didn't want to be all over protective but she couldn't help it.



She decided to go check on her.



She went into Dawn's room and found Joey laying there sleeping. Joey was always sleeping. Trying to find Dawn in her dreams and stayig there forever.



She closed the door and opened her own. She saw Tara laying there sleeping.



She looked peacful.



Willow carefully slid her shoes off and took her coat off. Pulling the blanket ontop of her. She said goodnight and kissed her on the forhead.

i had watery eyes when tara woke up!*sniff* geez that was so wonderful, but of course she would wake up, u wont kill her...well killing i mean, that she wont have the chance to come back like Faith, Dawn and Xander! OH that reunion will be so great!



Hmm wont Tara be in shock when she wakes up with Willow close to her? She´s still not used to Willow so she might be scared, tho a smile on her lips when she wakes up, would be better

Ch.3

Tara was running through a hallway with the redhead. They were running from something. They went down a couple flights of stairs before they opened a door and stumbled into a campus laundry room.



Tara opened her eyes she was in the same bedroom that she fell asleep in. Only now she was covered up.



She opened the door and the smell of pancakes floated up the stairs.



She slowly descended the stairs trying not to make noise and create attention to herself.



She peaked into the kitchen and found Willow making pancakes or trying to make pancakes. She was covered in pancake batter and flour. She looked so adorable.



Then someone came up behind her.



"She's not gonna give up on you ya know." Tara turned around and came face to face with the brown haired girl she had seen earlier.



"What?" Joey looked at Willow. "No matter what happens she's going to be there for you. So you better get used to it. 'Cause she can't cook for nothing." Joey said smiling.



Willow turned hearing voices and saw Tara and Joey talking. She smiled. Then she felt warm.



She looked down. The pancakes were on fire and spreading.



She started screaming.



Tara and Joey turned and looked in Willow's direction. They saw her jumping around and trying to put the fire out with a broom.



They laughed and turned back to each other. Then they screamed and ran into the kitchen. Willow then knocked the pan onto the floor.



Tara grabbed a thing of baking soda and dumped it onto the pan. She got most of it out and they stomped the rest.



About a minute after the fire was out the smoke alarm went off. "Well that would have been a lot of help two minutes ago!" Willow said.



She looked at Joey and Tara who were trying very hard not to laugh.



"What? This is not funny. What?" She said starting to get mad.



"Nothing. Nothing. You guys got this covered right. I'm gonna take a shower." Joey said handing Tara the broom.



Joey went upstairs and Tara looked at Willow again and she started laughing.



"Oh my goddess. Thats it. I'm done." Willow said heading for the doorway.



Tara grabbed her arm. "No, no, okay. I'm sorry i'm done." Tara said. She turned Willow around and started wiping of the pancake batter.



Tara looked into Willow's eyes and got lost.



"I bet that batter tastes pretty good." She said moving closer. Willow licked her lips. "Uh huh." "Mind if I try some?" She asked.



Willow grabbed what was left of the batter in the bowl and held it up.



"Here you go." "Not from there." Tara said taking the bowl from Willow and dropping it to the floor.



"From here." She said. As she turned Willow's head and licked the side of her cheek. Willow shuddered with excitement.



Then Tara nipped at the tip of Willow's nose. Then finally after what seemed like forever to Willow, Tara kissed her.

Buffy came in smelling the smoke and hearing the smoke alarm still going off.



She walked into the kitchen.



"Hey Will? What happ...." Buffy stopped seeing the two lovebirds.



She smiled and quietly walked out of the room and upstairs.
