I was just wondering what everyone had on their cell phones? Do you have the tune from a TV show or a favorite song, or do you just pick from the choices you are given?



One question: Does anyone know where I can DL the ringtone from Buffy?

I have the Meow Mix theme. I downloaded that cuz its like an inside joke. Good times.



I also have the intro for The Middle by Jimmy Eat World. I can play both those themes on my guitar.



I've been looking for Burn Baby Burn by Ash cuz they're my favorite band but every site I go to, my phone isnt compatible or whatever. I need to upgrade my phone.

My phone plays (what else for me) "The Mickey Mouse March" and only on Saturdays I change it to the "Notre Dame Victory" theme.

Mine's "Whatever" by Oasis.. Believe or not, it's so distinctive I've no problems locating it even if it's lost in a huge campus!!! *remembers a bunch of friends frantically calling and roaming around trying to track down my errant phone...*

huh. i used the link, very cool. however i noticed that the tempo needed to be increased a bit though. i used 225 instead.

Yeah... i agree... usually i change the tempo or drop a few notes in a song to make it sound like how i want it too. There's also an "Angel" ringtone which i love but have to remove it to make way for "Great American Hero" ringtone and since some phones have custom message tone... mine is the Intel beep.

I first chose "The Entertainer", which seemed to be the best of the options already on the phone. But someone I work with also had that, so I downloaded the theme from "The Muppet Show". So now I smile whenever my phone rings.

I don't know how to download ringtones so I just picked the one that sounded most spacey from the given choices. I really wish that I could get a cooler tone, but I never leave it on and it's not one of those really nice new ones.

Mines that sideshow theme. I was so excited when i realised I had it on my phone that i called my friend on my home phone and played it to her...don't worry, it's an inside joke.

My current one is the some from the Vodafone ad by the Dandy Warhols, I have this pocket pc type phone so the tones play really well cos their wav. files. Now I just have to see if I can get Under your spell on there .

There is someone that calls me about 5-6 times a day that just isn't getting the hint that one call a day is good for me.

My Erikson has the theme from "Star Wars" on, but the Nokia I use more has the theme from "Superman" (the movies) as he is my favourite Superhero! I did used to have "Under Your Spell" on but it hurt to hear it after a while so I decided to change it. I'd love one from the Matrix! The sound of the burly brawl music piercing the night would be way cool!!

I don't have a cell phone but my roomate has the song Dammit from Blink 182.. I used to like that song but now i just can't stand it anymore!! His phone rings all the time and he always forgets it here.. so i cannot stand that song anymore..



Sometimes i think i should just take the damn phone and put some ridiculous song so he'd be ashamed next time it rings in public..!! But i guess i'm too nice to do anything like that..

Just a note to let everybody know about a ringtone site that I found awhile ago. I meant to post this a month ago, but lost track of time.

http://www.myxertones.com You upload your own mp3. Select whatever portion of the song you want as a ringtone, and then it text messages you the tone. When you sign up, you get some free credits. Enough for one free tone, I think. You can recommend others, and if they sign up, you get more credits. It's completly free (or at least it was a month ago. I apologize if they've started charging.
