Anna from Big Bruvver went on to present a telly programme on Ireland's station RTÉ, in which she was a kind of agony aunt. It was called Ask Anna, and apparently there are plans for it to be shown again. Website: http://www.rte.ie/tv/askanna/

American Idol

Postby xita » Wed Apr 02, 2003 9:35 am

I am so happy that Corey was kicked out of the show for being a lying so and so. Although, I would have liked it better if he had been voted off as I believe he would have been tonight anyway. Now I am sure some people will wonder if he could have won it all, please.

Yesterday was sad and pathetic, so few of those people have any soul. Bad. I liked Carmen, and Trenyce and Kim L. The rest were sad, pathetic. They do not know how to do disco. Ricky, an afro? Why? Oh why?

My prediction is that tonight Ricky leaves the show, could be Kim C.

The Salon and Divas

Postby tommo » Wed Apr 02, 2003 11:50 am

Ricardo. Such a diva. His resignation was so obviously planned so that he could make the best dramatic exit he possibly could. Now, I know he's been given a hard time by Paul, who can be a git at times, but in the end, I think that Ricardo was acting on purely selfish motives. And the fact that he's now looking for an agent... :rolleyes

Poor Corey, if he hadn't have been disqualified, he so would have won!

Even though she started off slow, I thought that Kimberly Locke was the best of the night. Followed closely by Trenyce, who I thought did really well with the song she picked.

I'll say that Josh will be voted off tonight. Maybe Ricky.

bubye Corey.

Last night AI stunk

Kim Locke was good. Everyone else ugh. Even my man Clay. He needs more diversity.

Anyway, I hope Joss is gone tonight....that was down right horrible

On AI last night, Kim Locke gave the best performance so that's who I voted for, 2nd Best Ruben. I love ROOOOOOben 205! Clay is my fav, I like his personality even so I don't think he should be the new American Idol. I wouldn't buy his album. Trenyce I like, but she seems a bit off, like less confident. Ricky I think will be the one who gets kicked off tonight. He needed to come strong this week with a great performance but he didn't. Kim Caldwell sets off my gaydar, she's got the look, just not the voice...aw 1 hour till the results show..someone's going home.

dear God, I'm here..I'm here.

Ugh!

Postby Bookcat » Wed Apr 02, 2003 10:16 pm

That recap show was the cheapest way to sell commercials ever!

But at least Carmen was in the bottom 2. God that woman annoys the hell out of me. And she's a horrible singer.

Conquest

Postby sam7777 » Wed Apr 02, 2003 11:52 pm

I like "Conquest" but that's prolly because I liked Peter Woodward from his Babylon 5 days and my TV stays tuned to the Cable History channels. Discovery has this special where they got 4 guys (a policeman, cowboy, horse trainer and I foget what the other guy did). They train to be jousters and it was alot of fun to see them trying to wear armor and hit each other with lances. Yes I know I need help.

I am glad we didn't lose them. I actually like carmen ok, trenyce was def hurt by all the news about her this week. Kimberly Locke so did not deserve to be in the bottom three. Bleh, Ricky should have been gone and I am sure that simon was talking about him tonight.

Well I hope next week they have a better theme , the last couple of weeks have been very bad.

Sonia got the boot, I am so happy. In fact I could almost do a little happy dance. :dance

God what was that godforsaken outfit she was wearing all about eh?

Oh and Gina G was on the Salon. Not quite as good as a S club concert but hey, it kept me amused for half an hour :)

Now all we need to do is ensure Michelle Gayle stays on the bus.

I think Sonia was trying to woo the Nashville audience with her version of a Dolly Parton outfit. Pity she forgot the two vital qualities that Dolly has.

What? Charisma and a great voice. That's what I meant. Ahem.

Michelle Gayle has to stay in, no doubt. But I fear it's going to be Tony and Peter in the final. Haydon must go. Please.

And when was Gina G on The Salon? I bloody missed it!

I for one am sad to see Sonia go. She was bloody hilarious. All that fist waving and knee bending and all over body-shaking.

But what in the hell were the Nashville audience thinking of not voting to keep Michelle? That's just mad, Ted!

Please god let Leee John be voted off the bus. And not just because he spells his name with three Es :sigh

I think this post's mostly filler

Bad spelling. Ah, the 80's. ;)

I too can't stand John Leeeeeeeeeeee. He's not a great singer and he always uses the falsetto too much.

I kind of fancy Peter Cox. Still.

American Idol

Postby xita » Tue Apr 15, 2003 10:20 pm

Oh I am so not a Billy Joel fan so this was not the best show for me.

My opinion

Winners:

Kimberly Locke

Ruuuuben

Losers:

Carmen

Clay

bleh:

Kimberly C

I think it's time for Carmen to go. I cannot stand Josh or Clay, I really need to repeat that :)

I am so scared that Josh will go on after tomrrow. I am afraid Kimberly is a gonner and she did an amazing version of Emotions. I love that song a lot. Sigh.. down with Josh!

Frenchie Davis

Now, I know Ms. Davis isn't on Reality TV anymore (she's on Broadway, in fact), but I figured this picture would be appriciated here.

Oh yes thanks for the picture. I am glad she got a job and is showing off her assets ;)

I'd love to see Rent with her in it.

And I am glad Ruben won, I really could not stand Clay's voice, his style. Personally I would have preferred Kimberly but I guess there was just no way she was going to win. Shame that.

Re: Big Brother

Postby BoredNow99 » Wed Jun 04, 2003 11:00 am

Weird. Nobody's posted about Big Brother. Hmm.

I shall enlighten the masses. This bunch is by far the worst of the lot, IMO.

They're just...tossers. Federico loves himself. Anouska is possibly the most annoying person to ever walk the earth. Tania says ciao.

It's so very bad. But I still want to watch it. I can't help myself. I think I watch so I can spend time slagging people off and not getting any come back for it.

Does that make me a bad person? :D

Re: Big Brother

Not at all. I'm only sorry that Anouska #1 got kicked out. At least she was funny. Even if she does talk funny. Ahem. Oh, and she was a flirty whore. The other girls look like they're prissy madams, to me. And Nush is annoying. She always looks like a rabbit caught in the headlights.

Federico...just what was it he was doing to get reprimanded by Big Brother? I didn't understand or get the details on that. I mean what, was he talking about his breasts all the time? ;)

Rofl. He was asking Big Brother - in the diary room - if he could watch them take a shit. And he put on a sleazy European porn star accent to do it.

I think it was a take-off of that weird ginger-haired comedian who was on Comic Relief and tried to molest Jonathan Ross.

You'd think Big Brother would have been glad to have something vaguely interesting going on.

I'm actually glad Anouska went. She was doing my head in with her yapping. She was known as Mush here, as in "Shut your mush."

He wanted to watch Big Brother take a shit?

Ew. That's gross.

And yeah, she did yap a lot. I think the most annoying thing she ever did was on the pedalo, when she was singing at the top of her voice. I just...well, I wanted to weep.

So it would b safe to assume I haven't missed anything interesting happening in Big Brother this year then.

Oh well. I think I'll just stick to the Graham Norton updates at the start of his show.

So going out and buying a piece of Wensleydale and watching that for 20 hours a day will be more enjoyable than watching big brother.
