Seriously no need to apologise. I've never explicitly stated for feedback with these due to the nature of the idea of Drabbles but also its 100 words that consist of Willow sneezing on a hamster and Tara farting in front of Willow for the first time. What can be said to that.
I'm always receptive to any response to anything I post, its always welcome even if not explicitly stated. so no boundaries stepped on here by commenting.

I wrote this while watching 'Spiral'. Something that stood out to me this time is that I felt like Willow took responsibility. Often I think Willow passes off and doesn't really acknowledge her negative decisions and how it effects those around her. Then it occurred to me what could be the deeper reason for this that Willow might not grasp herself yet.
What if she blames herself for everything that goes wrong.
Stemming back to re-ensoulling Angel.
She caused Buffy to kill Angel not Angelus. if she acted sooner could that have led to a different conclusion.
Willow talks about her abandonment by Buffy when she needed her over the summer but goes on to be taken in by Faith leading Buffy to feel abandoned. What if that abandonment actually became a self punishment for Willow without knowing. That distance that grows as the show goes on a constant space Willow puts there because she feels she deserves it because when Buffy trusts Willow, Buffy gets hurt.
Buffy called Willow her big gun and then Buffy ends up dead.
So bringing Buffy back is her way of trying to fix a blame she cant live with.
A fight of the what I see and what Willow probably see's, her erasure, her fix its to issues but the issues possibly being what she thinks she causes for others.
She had that fight with Tara touching on trust ("Don't you trust me?" "With my life"), that was then a distance made and Tara got hurt, potentially losing her life or quality of it.
We see Willow try to magic away the problems. What if the brambles lethe was a subconscious punishment for herself.
If Tara and Buffy don't know the cause of the rift between them then that narrows the distance in their eye (erasing/ fixing the issue) but in Willow's it widens the self punishment distance even further because she knows something they cant know.
So full of blame she cant comprehend that it comes across as arrogance. It never looking like she see's her actions and taking the repercussions because she has always seen them and punished herself for them unknowingly. Which is why she lashes out at people reprimanding her as she's already done it to herself.
Its a newish angle of thought that I need to explore. Lot's of liabilities to push to their limits to make it work. How does her addiction play into this, is she distancing herself from the blame she might now see or is it fear because Tara is as far away as possible and when Tara was at a known distance before the damage was catastrophic. Her self perception on show her restless nightmare.
Thankyou for reading and sharing your thoughts. It's always of great meaning to be told I write Willow in character by a Willow fan. I have my quarrels with her but I'd never want to do her an injustice.
Good hearing from you.
