Kids part 6



Willow sat with Tara. Tara was splashing around in the Summers' bath. Anya had voluteered to give Xander and Spike a bath, but for her reasons... well me and Dawn had to cover both Tara's and Buffy's ears.



Willow looked at the camera out of the corner of her eye, six rolls of film had been used up. 1 on Spike and Buffy having an arguement of Spongebob Square Pants. 1 on Xander and Spike fighting in the back, Anya had to break it up but still it was cute all the same. 2 on Tara. 1 when she was having a nap, and the other just normal shots. Buffy had a roll used up on her. And the other one was a mix of them all. Xander playing with Tara, Buffy pushing Spike etc...



"OK sweetie Bath time's over."



Tara looked up, then pouted, "Don't wanna."



"Baby you'll have to get out of that bath, I don't want you getting all wrinkly."



Tara looked at her, "Like Grandma MacLay?"



"Yup."



"Grandma Mason was always not wrinkly."



"Uh huh." Willow took Tara into her towel covered arms.



"Grandma Mason always said I was special. Like my great grandma."



Willow started to dry Tara, "Why was she special?"



"She started seeing Auras when she was 2. Like me. And she grew up to be a very powerful witch."



Willow smiled, "I think your grandma was right. Come on sweetie lets get up into your night clothes."



Willow helped Tara into a nightdress, she carried her into the

bedroom where Buffy was fast asleep.



"Out like a light, she liked her bedtime story." Dawn replied.



Tara looked at Dawn, "Aura's pretty, green and yellow."



Dawn blinked, "Oh."



Willow smiled proudly, "Tara's family on her mom's side had a woman who started seeing auras when she was 2. It seems like Tara followed in her footsteps. Didn't you sweetie?" Willow tickled Tara, the girl giggled and snuggled closer.



Dawn smiled, as she grabbed the camera, she backed up a bit so she got a picture of Willow holding Tara.



Tara blinked then Willow smiled, "OK sweetie bed time."



Tara allowed herself to be put into the bed with Buffy. "Can I have a story?"



"A story?"



Tara nodded, "About a cat."



"Ah you want to hear about the adventures of Miss Kitty."



Tara nodded.



Willow smiled, "OK.."



She sat on the bed telling Tara how Miss Kitty helped save the world. Tara was out half way through the story.



Willow tucked the covers under her chin, kissed Tara on the forehead and went down stairs.



A knock on the door made her get up, she opened the door, "Cordelia?" she asked.

Kids part 7 - The one where everyone turns up





"Cordelia? Wesley, Angel, uh 1 uh 2 uh 3." Willow replied, "Come on in."



"Cordelia had a vision." Welsey explained, "Of what appeared to be Buffy."



Willow blinked as a slighly nervous girl came in with a green skinned red horned and eyed demon and a tall shaven headed guy followed at the rear, "Introductions?" Willow asked. As they grouped together in the Summers living room.



"Oh, this is Gunn. Gunn this is Willow."



"Hey."



Willow smiled, "Hey." She noted that the guy seemed to be carrying a knife.



"I'm Winifred. Everyone calls me Fred." The girl replied, with a slight Texan twang.



"Hi Fred." Willow smiled, "Aren't you the science...?"



Fred nodded happily, "Yes."



"I'm Lorne."



"Hi, Lorne. Nice suit." Willow replied, taking in the red suit Lorne had chosen to wear.



"We would of come sooner, but we had to wait until Sundown." Angel replied.



Willow nodded then smiled, "OK, so what was this about Buffy."



"She seemed to be 3 years...."



A little shuffling noise came through, Xander stood at the door, holding Mr Gordo.



"Xander?" Cordelia whispered.



"Xander sweetie." Willow rushed over to him and picked him up, "Have a bad dream?"



Xander nodded, he buried his head in Willow's shoulder. Willow stroked his hair.



"Hey, why don't we go up stairs, I make a little night light any then the nightmares will be all gone?"



Xander nodded, "Willow?"



"Yes Xander?"



"What are all these people doing here?"



"They're friends. They came to see us." Wilkow smiled, "Come Xander, I'm sure William is missing your company."



Xander sniffled then Willow carried him upstairs tucked him in summoned a tinkerbell and watched him fall asleep the green light glowing as he slept.



Willow walked down stairs, "Let me explain. Giles now runs the magic box, we were helping take in more stock and Xander, Buffy, Spike and Tara touched a very expensive stress toy."



"So...? Xander's now a three year old." Cordelia asked.



Willow contnued, "The stress toy was actually a celtic weapon that other clans used on each other, turning their best warriors in 3 years olds. They don't remember anything, Spike can go out in the sun and calls himself William. Buffy doesn't have slayer strenght. Tara can't do spells. But she can read auras."



Wesley pushed his glasses up, "She is a natural witch isn't she?"



"Her family are. Tara comes from a long line of witches." Willow smiled.



Cordelia whispered in Wesley's ear, he blinked, "Are you...?"



Willow nodded, "Been living together for a year now." Willow blushed, then offered, "They're out like lights, does anyone what a drink?"



"Whiskey." Welsey mumured, still in slight shock.



"Angel? We've got some lamb's blood in the fridge?" Willow offered.



Angel smiled, "That would be nice."



"Gunn? Cordelia? Fred? Lorne?"



They shook their heads, Willow went out to get the lamb's blood for Angel and the whiskey for Wesley.



"So are you staying?" Willow asked.



Cordelia looked at Angel then Wesley and said, "Sure. It'll be fun to see the rug rats."

Willow woke up, Tara was staring intently at her, "Morning sweetie." She yawned.



Tara grinned, then pounced on her, Willow giggled then hugged the little girl close, "Hey, you been up long?"



"No, waiting for you."



Willow smiled, "Come on sweetie I think pancakes are in order."



"Woo hoo!" Xander, William and Buffy all pounced on Willow. She collasped in a heap.



Dawn came in from the bathroom, to see 4 3 year olds piling on a squirming redhead.



"OK, guys I know you're happy to see me, but can we just leave me alone so I can make pancakes? Dawn can you dress Spike and Xander for me? While I dress Tara and Buffy?"



Dawn chuckled, "Come on you two cowboys let's leave the cow girls to get dressed huh?"



Xander stuck his tongue out at Tara who replied by sticking her tongue out.



Dawn smiled, another kodac moment she thought as she snapped away.

The LA gang has arrived. I wonder how Angel will react to seeing a little Spike. Cordy is sure to have a blast with little Xander. Will we get to see any of the LA crew turned into little kids. A little Fred or a little Gunn would be really cute.

Kids part :- 8



Wesley walked into training room, Giles had the object sitting in the middle of room, "Researching?"



Giles looked up, "No, it keeps it safe. Willow is quite struck on playing mother for a month. And we really don't want 4 naked people in the shop."



Wesley looked out, Tara was sitting on the counter with Anya, pointing out the various objects, Xander and Spike were playing with Gunn, they were having races with their cars, or in Xander's case a fire truck. Angel was looking bemused at the whole thing. Lorne was checking out all the bars, he reckoned that there could be a market for his bars in Sunnydale. Cordelia was talking to Buffy and Dawn. Willow sat with Fred talking. "Ah yes, they seem to enjoy being here."



Giles nodded. He looked at the ball, "The runes seem to be Welsh."



Wesley looked at him, "Can we touch it?"



Giles looked at him, "Once the spell is cast, it's pretty much useless. Until it is broken."



"Ah, break it and the spell is broken?"



"In a nut shell. Tea?"



Wesley nodded, "I'm a bit surprised to hear about Willow."



"I was drunk when I first heard, my reaction was "Bloody Hell." " Giles replied as he found his kettle, "But Willow is happy, and she adores Tara."



Wesley nodded, "Yes, I can tell."



"My Slayer is now dating a chipped vampire."



"William the Bloody?"



Giles put two tea bags in two cups, "Spike yes." He replied half smiling as he did.



"Ah." Wesley replied.



"The God Glorifus came to Sunnydale, searching for the Key which turned out to be Dawn. When Glory mistook Tara for the Key, she broke her arm, luckily for Tara, Willow appeared, and let's just say, that Bodicca has a real chance of coming back as Willow Rosenberg."



"Bodicca?" Wesley replied, "Queen of the Britons."



"Indeed, Willow's protective streak is as wide as any mother's. It was almost like a lioness protecting her cub."



There was a knock on the door, Willow came in, Tara wrapped protectively around her, "Giles, I'm going to take Buffy, William, Xander and Tara for ice cream, do you want to come?"



Giles smiled, "No Willow, but you could bring me back some sorbet."



Willow smiled, "Raspberry?"



Giles nodded.



"Wesley? Should I bring you some back?"



Wesley looked at the young woman, no wonder my mother warned me about red heads he mused inwardly, "No thank you Willow."



Tara cocked her head to one side and smiled, "You have a nice aura Mr Wesley."



Wesley smiled, still slightly unerved by the girl's nack of seeing auras, "Thank you."



"It goes pink when Fred's around."



Willow smiled, "Tara, don't tease Mr Wesley, you know it's not nice."



Tara looked back at Wesley with big blue eyes, "Sorry Mr Wesley."



"Come on." Willow tapped Tara on the nose, "Let's get some ice cream in that little witchy stomach before you cause any more chaos."



Giles turned to Wesley who was faintly blushing, "Tea?"

Kids part :- 9



Willow watched the 4 three olds happily munch through a kincker bocker glory. Giles had suggested it, those english they know how to keep their kids happy.



Dawn had joined in with the desert. She was watching William and Xander, she knew they hated each other when they were big, but they had a lot in common. Ditto Buffy and Tara. Dawn watched Buffy dare Tara to eat something dead fast. But as usual Willow was by her side, wiping ice cream off Tara, scolding her when she nearly dripped it over her brand new dungrees.



Buffy was the same, Willow happily scolded them all when they were close to getting their clothes ruined.



Soon there were 5 empty glasses 5 very full stomachs. Tara had naturally curled around Willow and fallen asleep. William and Xander were both yawning and Buffy had zonked out on Dawn.



"Time to go I think." Willow replied as she gathered the now sleeping Tara and Buffy, Dawn grabbed hold of William and Xander, not forgetting Giles' raspberry sobert they quickly hurried back to the magic box.



"Aw, she's just the sweetest little thing." Lorne replied as he came in, Tara snuffled in her sleep, "Honey, you got to bring her down. I can see this little one's got a voice."



Willow blushed, she remembered Tara singing her to sleep when they had just defeated Glory.



Lorne smiled, his red eyes twinkling with mischeif, "I see..."



Willow smiled, "Oh yes."



"Young love..." Lorne crooned.



Tara smiled in her sleep.



"I think she likes your singing."



Xander wandered up to Cordelia. Anya was in the back with Giles going over more stock. "Can I give you something?"



Cordelia kneeled down so she was eye to eye with Xander, "OK rug rat."



Xander kissed her on the cheek and ran away giggling and blushing to find Anya.



Angel raised an eyebrow.



William looked up at his grand sire, then he blinked, "Granddad?"



Angel looked down, "Uh..."



"You're my granddad."



Angel blinked then William scrambled up on him and wrapped his arms around Angel's neck.



Willow fished out a camera careful not to dislodge the sleeping Tara, "That's beautiful. I'm going to call it Blushing Cordy with Grandpa Angel."



Buffy ran in being chased by Xander. Anya appeared, "I don't know how you cope Willow. All they seem to do is eat, chase each other and sleep."



Willow smiled, "It's not so bad. Buffy give Xander back his fire truck. It's not nice to take other people's things, think if Xander took one of your favourite toys."



Buffy scuffed her shoe, then threw the fire truck at Xander, Willow quickly shot out her hand, "Buffy that wasn't nice, if you don't behave there's no ice cream for you for a month. Now give Xander his truck back properly."



Buffy accepted the truck off Willow then walked over to Xander gave him his truck then kissed him on the cheek and ran off giggling into the waiting arms of Fred who was sitting at the table, "What ach doing?"



Fred blinked.



"You like Willow." Buffy wrinkled her nose, "Talk funny."



Fred smiled, "What because I'm texan?"



"No, you use big words, like pychics."



"I am a geek." Fred replied, "A science geek, we use big words to impress people."



"Willow uses big words, when Tara does funny stuff to her."



"Uh huh?"



"Like ohmygoddesstara."



Willow blushed, then grinned, "Slayer hearing."



Anya nodded, "But you don't need Slayer hearing with those two around."

I think kids have a knack of making adults blush. Cause they're all young and innocent, no inkling of about the art of lying, so every bit that comes from them is true. Like Tara talking about Wesley's pink aura around Fred, Buffy talking about Willow using big words when Tara does funny stuff to her. You've really done a great job here, making the characters very life-like

i agree, Tara's a sentive soul so she picks up on thing like that, i like that about her. And Buffy tends to not think before she says stuff. I hope that I captured the whole thing, Spike was fun to do, because little William is totally different from Spike!



Little Tara is ardorable, but i promise there's a little one who will beat little Tara in the adorable stakes...

Kids Part 10 :- the one with the Ducks.





Tara had finally woken up and was sitting with Lorne. The little girl seemed to be amazed by Lorne. She liked the colours he wore and his skin colour as well. She sat with him sometimes singing a little, but just enjoying the demon's company.



Willow was working the kinks out of her neck, Fred was reading some magicial text with Giles and Wesley, Anya was running after Xander, who nearly knocked over Gunn. Dawn wasn't present, she had gone shopping with Janice. So Angel and Cordelia were assigned Buffy and William watching duty.



Angel shook his head as he watched William, "That child is so not like Spike."



Cordelia smiled, "Uh huh."



"Spike would be raising the roof trying to cause chaos, but he just wants to sit in a corner, sometimes fight with Buffy and be quiet."



"It's William." Willow assured the vampire, "Not Spike. Hey, William." She walked over to the little boy, "Wanna go to the park?"



"Ducks?" William asked.



"I think we could feed the ducks. Maybe play on the swings."



Tara turned around, Lorne grinned, then she hopped off where she was sitting, Lorne smiled, "Radar tracking only one person."



Willow smiled and let Tara run into her arms, then she picked William up, "So who wants to go to the park?"



"Me!" Four voices chorused.



"Giles, Anya could you join us? Wesley, Fred, Gunn Cordy, Lorne you're welcome to join us."



Giles smiled, "I think I might join you. It does seem a lovely day for a trip to the park."



"Giles don't lie you just want to feed the ducks." Anya replied. As Xander giggled.



"Ducks!" Xander shouted.



Giles sniffed, "I suppose I should get out my bread and commue with the ducks. Here ducky ducky."



Willow started laughing, it gradually passed around all of the scoobies with AI team looking bemused.



"OK, OK, we better go to the park before night fall." Willow iped her eyes, "To feed the ducks."

Tara was sitting with William and Giles, Xander and Buffy were playing on the bars under the watchful eyes of Anya and Willow.



Tara handed William a piece of bread, the little boy smiled shyly, "Thank you Tara."



Tara giggled at him, "It's OK William."



Giles smiled, then he said, "I guess we're done here, I think I've run out of bread."



Tara smiled as she threw her last piece into the water, William followed suit, then Giles walked them back to where Anya and Willow sat.



"Hey you two have fun with Mr Giles?"



William scrambled up onto Anya, Xander noticed and glared at him.



Tara sat on Willow's lap.



Giles sat down, "I never had so many people asking me if they are my children."



Willow chuckled, "But you enjoy it."



Giles smiled fondly, "But I think I've already got a family, Buffy is practically my daughter, so are you and Xander."



Willow nodded, "I guess we all needed a father figure. Hello, my father is more interested in the Dow, although he does think Tara is very nice." Willow paused, then she said, "Dad likes me to be happy." Willow looked away for a moment then contined her rant, "Xander's a idiotic drunk, Buffy's is AWOL as Dawn is too. Tara's disowned her and well Anya..."



"My father died a long time ago, he actually drowned in his beer."



Giles raised an eyebrow, as William scrambled away to go play on the swings.



Willow smiled, "So Dad what do want to do now?"
