I am totally in love with Doccubus (Doctor & Succubus), otherwise known as Bo & Lauren, and since it's coming to SyFy soon (Monday Jan 16th 2012 at 10 pm est/9 pm central), I was wondering if anyone else was also interested in the couple. Bo is defined as a bisexual succubus from the very first episode, and the show has a triangle between Bo/Dyson (a male werewolf) and Bo/Lauren (hot female doctor who helps Bo learn about herself and helps her control her abilities), and the show takes her relationship w/Lauren, the insatiably curious human doctor, more seriously as time goes on (as a direct result of fan feedback). Because it's a Canadian show, we get the most lovely same sex love scenes ever. One thing I love about the series is that they never make being bisexual (Bo) or lesbian (Lauren) a big deal. Also, both actresses have played lesbian roles before and it shows in the love scenes with how comfortable they are with them.

I love lost girl, but I have to admit I've fallen a little off the faevagon these last episodes. It's just...oh well, I'm just hoping it'll pick up. I'm not going to admit I watch it mostly for the Doccubus but uh...guess the cat's out of the bag :/

Anyways *cough* Kenzi-power!

Well they certainly left no doubt after tonight's episode that Bo is bi.

Good thing we have cable on this side of the border, since none of the regular broadcast networks would EVER pick this up in the U.S. It was the same problem with BBC's "Absolutely Fabulous" series. Roseanne Barr tried to get the networks to accept an American adaptation of the series, but was turned down (they said) "because of all the drug use". :happy

Howdy, Gatito Grande here---anyone remember me? ;-)

Just de-lurking (after Too Long!) to say how much I am LOVING the new season (S3) of Lost Girl! :banana

Especially wanted to mention it here, because LG has so many overtones of A Certain Show of days-of-yore (that show at its best, that is---witty, Whedon-esque writing).

Doccubus = *THUD*!!!!

Lost Girl: SyFy channel, Monday 10PM [Stateside---I think Canucks (THANK YOU for LG, Canada!)---are ~8 days ahead]

I'm loving me some Doccubus this season. They are steamy.

Well, shoot, I had no idea this part of the board was even here until my wife pointed it out. I guess there is more to life then Pens and fanfic...?

So, I love Lost Girl. I guess it's as close to a new obsession as I have. I didn't pick up on it until this year, but now I am all caught up through season 4. I cannot believe that's almost over as well. Here's hoping season 5 gets picked up. Haven't seen any press on that, but it seems likely given how good the ratings are in Canada and the US now.

I even wrote some fanfic... not sure if it's kosher to share here? I'll wait for a moderator to give me the nod, but feel free to PM me and I will share where I am posting.

Hope to see this discussion revived!

I'm in. Not caught up, but in. :)

ETA: All caught up! And honestly, not sure why everyone on this board isn't watching this show. True, it is often maddening and loopholey, but it's also Buffyesque and hot with great female characters who get hot with each other on a regular basis. Fun stuff.
