Anybody watching the web series, Carmilla? It's a "contested" version of the late 19th century vampire novella of the same name, and it's a lot like other literary web series, The Lizzie Bennet Diaries. The super gay story centers around Laura, a student at Silas University and her new roommate Carmilla. The other main characters include Dani, Laura's TA and crush, and LaFontaine and Perry, a "married" gay couple (implied) who live in Laura's dorm. There are also some frat guys and random girls. All the action takes place in Laura's dorm room under the guise of her filming a journalism project that she's sharing with the other students at school.
Each episode is between 2-7 minutes long, and new ones come out on Tuesdays and Thursdays. There are 20 so far (or 21 after today) and I think they've planned something like 36 for this season (and they keep saying "season 1" like there will be more). It is not the most inventive thing in the world, nor the best acted, but it is fun and if you're into fandoms and shipping the cast and crew are very accessible and into fan interaction.
