Heather,
First off, congratulations for finishing this fic!
It is something that I can only dream of at this point and I am so proud to see one of my fellow kittens make this accomplishment.
Sorry that I have been absent for so long, but sometimes life surprises you and just takes you completely off course. I just read the last two pages of your story. I have to say your description was completely accurate when it comes to being the antidote for angst. I'll have to remember that as I finish up writing my story. Maybe I'll take little breaks and re-read this in small prescriptive doses, lol.
In any case, it was truly a pleasure to read, even though I'm about a year late. It was actually perfect reading this with the cool December air waiting just outside the door and the Christmas tree lights glowing brightly in the living room vs the penetrating heat of our seemingly unending summer. There was something just really wrong about that, so I guess it worked out in that way. Now I feel like going to make a nice cup of hot chocolate and just sitting with the warm-fuzzies you provided. However, I do echo previous fb and request that Dry Heat gets the same attention and hopefully we we see updates rolling out on that one as well.
Warmest Holiday Wishes,
Lexi
