Summary: It’s Willow and Tara’s one year anniversary and Tara is planning something special without Willow knowing, but Willow will definitely be surprised.



Oh yeah just so everyone knows it starts off normal with snuggles and stuff but hopefully by then end everyone will enjoy what Tara has planned for Willow



Chapter 1:



BUZZ BUZZ



Willow rolled over and smacked the alarm clock that invaded her peaceful sleep. <> thought Willow. She rolled back towards her sleeping beauty, taking one last look at Tara before she decided it was time to get out of bed. Willow finally slowly got out of bed and took a shower before she had to leave for work.



Twenty minutes later Willow returned to her room to find Tara just waking from her slumber. Willow walked over to the bed and sat down on the edge waiting for Tara to wake up fully.



“Mmm, hey sweetie.” Said Tara in a sleepy voice



“Good morning beautiful”



“Do you really have to go to work today? I mean can’t you call in sick and stay in bed with me?”



Willow could hardly resist the slight pout that formed on Tara’s lips “You know I can’t call in sick baby. It’s my big presentation today...but you know I would definitely prefer to stay in bed with you all day.”



Willow leaned in and kissed Tara quickly on the lips before going over to the closet to get dressed. As she left Tara alone wanting more a small whimper could be heard. Willow had a tiny grin hearing her girl protest at the lost of contact.



“You know you’re cute when you pout.” Teased Willow



“I just miss my Willow-lips, they feel so good” replied Tara with a sexy grin



“Aww baby, I promise you will get as much of my lips as you want when I get home tonight.”



“Oh I’m holding you to that promise Will.”



By now Willow was dressed and ready to leave for work. Before she left she made her way back to Tara and gave her a kiss full of passion which told Tara she would make good on her earlier promise.



“Now I really have to go before I’m late.” Said Willow turning towards the door



“Alright, have a good day baby…oh and don’t forget I love you with all my heart.”



“I love you too Tara”



“Willow.”



“Yeah?”



“One more thing, happy anniversary sweetie.”



“Same to you baby, this has been the best year of my life.” Willow quickly went back to the bed and kissed Tara one last time before she left the house unaware of what Tara has planned for later that evening.



Back in the bedroom, Tara slowly began getting out of bed to begin her day. She walked over to the stereo and pushed play. Music filled the room as Tara made the bed and got dressed. She put on an old pair of sweatpants and a cute kitten t-shirt Willow had gotten her. After she finished getting dressed, she took a piece of paper from the desk and began reading what was written on it:



“Candles scented and unscented, roses, chocolate, Willow’s gift…”



The list went on and after each word Tara read she put a small check mark beside it signifying she had everything she needed for the special romantic evening she was planning for her and Willow.



<> thought Tara as she continued preparing for the evening.

Hey I'm glad you all like the start, I'm working on the next part but I have to do some fixing up cuz I didn't really like how some parts flowed. Anyway I'm hoping to have the next bit done by tomorrow or Monday

Chapter 2:

Tara was on her way towards the kitchen when the phone rang. “Hello”



“Hey Tara, it’s Buffy. Dawn left her book there can I stop by and pick it up for her? She needs it for school tomorrow,” Buffy said



“Yeah no problem, I’ll be home all day just stop by when you have a chance.” Tara hung up the phone and walked to the kitchen to begin her surprise for Willow.



Tara is busy in the kitchen preparing the food she will need for the dinner she is planning on making for Willow. She glances at the clock which says 2:45 pm.



“Oh man, I’ve only got 2 hours before Willow gets home and I’m nowhere near done getting everything ready.” Tara says to herself



Tara continues to chop the vegetables that will accompany her fantastic chicken Parmesan. She was just about to put them in the steamer when the phone rings..



“Hello?”



“Hey baby” Willow said in an excited tone



“Hey Will, what’s up?”



“Umm I won’t be home on time I have a surprise meeting I just found out about and I can’t get out of it…stupid work I’d rather be home with you.”



“Oh…when will you be home sweetie?”



“I shouldn’t be too late I should be home around 6:00.”



Tara tried to hide her disappointment from hearing the news, “Well if you have to stay I’ll just relax and wait till you get home to eat.”



“No, you don’t have to wait.”



“It’s ok, I want to have dinner with you.” Tara was smiling realizing Willow had no clue about the surprise dinner she was planning.



“Ok then, but if your tummy starts rumbling because you’re hungry go ahead and eat.”



“I’m not eating until you get home we’ll decide what we’re going to have.”



“Sounds great!” Willow paused “I have to go, love you.”



“I love you too, bye.”



Tare hung up the phone and went back into the kitchen to finish preparing the food since she now had over 3 extra hours to prepare. She chopped the rest of the vegetables and placed them along with the chicken into to the refrigerator.



She walked into the living room to search for a nice relaxing movie for after dinner viewing. She narrowed her choices down to the cuteness of Finding Nemo and the comedy of Miss Congeniality. <> thought Tara as she set both on the side table and got up to go back into the kitchen.



As she stood and turned around she nearly had a heart attack when she saw Buffy standing in the doorway “Buffy!! I didn’t hear you come in…you startled me.”



“Oh I’m sorry Tara I didn’t mean to startle you.” Buffy said with an apologetic look



“No problem, can I get you anything?”



“No, I’m good. I just stopped by to see how your preparations for tonight are going. Oh and to pick up Dawn’s book.”



“Everything is going according to schedule in fact Willow has to work late. That gives me more time to make things extra perfect.”



“That’s great I’m really happy for the 2 of you. I know it hasn’t always been easy since she was gone for 3 months for business.”



Tara smiled at Buffy as she walked over to the bookshelf grabbing Dawn’s book. “It means so much to know you approve of Willow and I.”



“Of course I approve, we all love you Tara. We just want to see the 2 of you happy.” Buffy said giving Tara a hug.



Tara blushed at what Buffy said, she returned the hug and after a few seconds she pulled back and smiled at Buffy “Here’s the book for Dawn, I hate to rush but I have lots to do before Will gets home.”



“Say no more, I’m gone. I hope you evening goes great!”



Tara walked Buffy to the door and waved bye as Buffy drove towards the Magic Box. <> with that thought Tara closed the door and walking into the dining room and took out their best plates and cutlery…this was going to be the best diner Willow ever had.

Chapter 3:



It took Tara ten minutes to place the dinner ware on the table. She placed two plates across from each other. Making sure everything was perfect, Tara walked back into the kitchen and grabbed two candles from the counter along with two roses. She placed the candles and roses on the table, looking one more time making sure she hadn’t forgotten anything <> she thought as a small grin played on her lips, she left the dinning room and went upstairs to fix up their room.



“I really hope Willow will enjoy this evening” Tara said to herself as she walked into the bedroom. In her arms she carried a bundle of roses, minus the two on the table, and a few scented candles in the other hand. Tara began setting up the room, placing the candles all around the room; to create a romantic atmosphere. After the candles were in the perfect locations Tara busied herself placing a few roses on the bed side table.



Tara went over to the closet and grabbed a new pair of silk sheets from the top shelf, “I know this will drive Willow crazy, she loves the feel of silk” Tara said as she began changing the sheets, as she finished making the bed she thought to herself <> her sexy grin appearing at the thought



About 20 minutes later Tara put the finishing touches on the room. The candles were in place, she made a trail of rose pedals from the door to the bed and placed a small package wrapped in gold paper on Willows pillow. Satisfied with her work, Tara looked at her watch and just about freaked out. Her watch read 5:40, she only has 20 minutes to shower and finish dinner. “Oh crap, I’ve totally lost track of time. I’m going to have to really rush to get ready in time,” said Tara in a panic and ran into the bathroom for a quick shower.



Tara emerged from the shower, fully refreshed. She fixed her hair and quickly slipped into her black skirt and baby blue blouse which hugged every curve she had perfectly. Once she was dressed she ran down to the kitchen to finish preparing the meal. She put the food on the plates so when Willow got home everything would be ready.



At 6 exactly the front door opened and Willow appeared. “Hey Tara, I’m home” Willow stated as she inhaled the wonderful smell of dinner while taking in the beautifully decorated dinning room.



“Hey sweetie, how was your day?” Tara asked as she greeted her girlfriend near the entrance.



“It was good…what’s all this?”



“It’s my surprise for you, do you like?” Tara asked hopefully



“It’s wonderful, I didn’t have a clue you were planning this. I love it!!”



“Good, and just so you know this is just the beginning of the night baby.” Tara stated matter of factly as she closed the distance between them and kissed Willow with so much passion Willow was afraid she wouldn’t be able to remain standing.



“Hmm, I love my Tara-kisses but…”



“There’s a but?”



“Only because the dinner smells so good and I wouldn’t want it to get cold.”



“Oh ok then, food it is” Tara grabbed Willow by the hand and led her to the table to enjoy a nice meal together



“This is great baby, you know I absolutely love chicken parmesan and assorted veggies.” Willow said with a grin.



“I’m glad you like it, I wanted to make this perfect.”



“And you have, it’s wonderful.” Willow got up and kissed Tara briefly on her way to the kitchen with the dishes in hand.



Once the dishes were in the kitchen, Willow took Tara’s hand in her own so they stood facing each other. Emerald eyes met deep blue seas and they both know the evening was going to be amazing.



“This was a wonderful dinner and I am so looking forward to the next part” Willow said.



“It wasn’t that much honey. I would do anything for you, don’t you ever forget that” replied Tara.



“Well I know but thank you so much, there are no words to express how I feel right now...”



At that moment, Willow closed the distance between them, she needed to feel Tara’s sweet lips against hers. Those lips she’d never get tired of kissing, so soft and sweet but still able to burn her skin. Every time they kiss she’d get lost in the feeling. After a minute of teasing each others lips, Tara backed away to look at the love of her life. Willow’s breath caught in her throat at the sight of her girlfriend. Willow leaned in again to kiss Tara but with more passion than the first time. Tara opened her mouth to let Willow in, an action the redhead was expecting. Their tongues danced together as if it was the first time they kissed, exploring each others mouth slowly. It felt like the kiss would never end. When Tara heard Willow moan, she broke the kiss, deciding that things were going a little too fast for the evening she had all planned. For tonight, Tara was going to be in charge, so the blonde girl led a breathless and aroused Willow into the living room for some snuggle time.
