WILLOW-FRIENDLY
~ ~ ~ ~ ~
I cried that night she had told me that she wanted to work things out on her own. She said she was confused, between her feelings with Oz and me. He came back... I should’ve never fallen for her, I should’ve known that she was too good for me. I, Tara Maclay, should never ever fall for another amazingly gorgeous Willow.
Now, here I sit, writing in the crappy journal all because I gave my heart a little too fast. A little too early. But Willow did give me reason to fall in love with her. She told me I was special, she told me that no one made her feel so alive the way that I do. But could that be the magic? Or is she afraid?
Either way, she’s not here with me. She’s probably with the funny guy. The one that makes her laugh and cry…holds her. Why am I even beating myself up over this? I need air.

Willow curled up in her bed, going over her studies. It’s been almost two weeks since she seen Tara last. It was like the blonde was no where to be found. Willow wanted to sit down and talk with the blonde. She wanted to make sure that the blonde was okay.
Throwing her books off her bed, Willow picked up the phone and tried Tara’s place.
“Hey, You’ve reached Tara Maclay, I am not in right now, so if you leave a message, I’ll get right back to you.” The answering machine picked up.
Willow smiled, she was there when Tara recorded that, the red head bought her the answering machine as a gift…just a little ‘Just Because’ gift. “Tara? It’s Willow. I swear I’m not stalking you, I just haven’t heard from you in two weeks and I was hoping everything’s okay. I dropped by a couple of times, but your dorm-mates said that they haven’t seen you around. Please, call me when you get this…I…” Then the answering machine cut her off. “Damn it.”
Piling her notebooks and text books in her bag, Willow set off to the library to help her motivation for studying.
~
Tara knew Willow’s schedule…she tried her best to use that to her advantage, dodging the red head whenever she seen her. It hurt for the blonde to pull away just like that. But she didn’t know what else to do. She could fight for her love….but in the end, she’d probably be the one hurt anyway.
Sitting herself on her bed…she looked at the message blinking on her answering machine. Sighing, she curled up her feet and pressed the play button.
“Tara? It’s Willow. I swear I’m not stalking you, I just haven’t heard from you in two weeks and I was hoping everything’s okay. I dropped by a couple of times, but your dorm-mates said that they haven’t seen you around. Please, call me when you get this…I…”
Saving the message, Tara wiped her tears and got ready for bed.

Oz sat in the cafeteria, waiting for his ex girlfriend to join him for brunch. He was glad Willow excepted the fact that he was back and was giving him another shot to be in her life. But he wasn’t to clear if she wanted him to be her boyfriend again, things were a little off with Willow lately, and even with his werewolf senses…he couldn’t figure it out.
“Hey Oz.” Willow smiled, sitting down across from him.
“Hey…good sleep?” Oz smiled back.
“Not so much, I was in the library all night trying to study.” Willow pulled out her applesauce. She smiled a little when her and Tara would stock up on applesauce during their all night cramming sessions. They would even get a little goofy ant start feeding each other. It was one of the many times when Willow wished she’d kiss the blonde.
“I get that. You seem a little…out lately.” Oz placed his hand on top of Willow’s.
Willow instinctively moved her hand back and smiled apologetically. “I’m sorry…it’s just…I…Oz, you found a cure, and I’m happy you did. But…you have no idea what I’ve been through these months that you’ve left me behind…”
“Look, Will, I know I put you through a rough time.” Oz began softly.
“You did. You truly hurt me Oz. You ripped my heart out and to make matters worse, you stomped on it when I caught you with Veruca.” Willow frowned. “You already broke my heart before you and Veruca… You were right there beside me, holding my hand…but you’d always be thousands of miles away. And every time I wanted to be alone with you…you said you’d rather be alone. Oz, why didn’t you just tell me? Not just about Veruca, but about the other changes.”
“Other changes…Willow…”
Yes, other changes. You wanted to be with someone other than me. I was good for you in high school, but once we started college…you changed.” Willow surprisingly kept her cool. She never rose her voice and she never looked mad. “But you left things hanging and I was just lucky I had my friends to help me with the clean up.” She whispered, now tears were surfacing. “But when you left Oz…my life just began. I was able to do things on my own, to get over my first love and move on. You helped me realize that I didn’t need a boyfriend to make my life complete. I needed friends and my own strength. And I found my strength. In my heart…and in Tara.” The name just slipped out naturally.
“Tara?” Oz frowned. “Shy girl?”
“What?” Willow turned around and locked eyes with the blondes.
“Yours.
“My girl.” Willow said getting up from the table. “Oz, I’ll always cherish what we had. But it’s time…we just both move on.” She gave him a hug and walked off.

Willow watched Tara exit her dorm building, heading towards the library. She shook her head knowing that the blonde knew better then to walk alone at night. But then again, she was also a powerful witch.
Slowly making her way behind the blonde, Willow followed for a few minutes, surprised that Tara hadn’t sensed her yet…or anyone for that matter.
“Me too.” Willow grinned softly, and laced her fingers into Tara’s, swinging their hands as they continued walking.
Making a bold move, Willow stepped forward and laced her fingers with the blonde’s.
Tara jumped slightly, turning her head to see Willow smiling apologetically at her. “W-Willow…what are you d-doing?” She asked, looking at their joined hands.
“Tara…I have to apologize for everything I put you through.” Willow said in a light whisper.
“Look Willow, I-it’s okay, really.” Tara looked at the red head.
“No, it’s not. It really isn’t okay. Tara…do you have any idea how much I’m feeling right now? But that doesn’t matter, because this isn’t about me…this is about you. I…Tara, you are more beautiful then the most exotic places on this earth. You outshine every ounce of beauty and charisma then this world has to offer…then mother nature has to offer. I cannot even begin on how much I worship you and your love and passion.”
Tara stood there speechless, she couldn’t figure out where the red head was going with this. But she knew that if Willow didn’t stop babbling now, she’d never stop. “Willow, why are you doing this?” She asked, stepping a little closer to Willow.
“Because…I love you Tara. I’m very much in love with you, and…I was going to tell you…then Oz came back…and…that…”
“Shh.” Tara smiled and cupped Willow’s cheek. “Can you just be kissing me now?” She asked.
Unlacing their laced fingers, Willow outlined the contours of Tara’s angelic face. Her thumbs brushing over plush lips before capturing them with her own. The tip of her tongue barely grazed Tara’s lips, but the contact made an impact. Willow felt Tara’s hands in her hair, pulling her closer.
The blonde opened her mouth slightly, taking Willow’s bottom lips between her own, suckling and grazing softly. Pulling away from the slow sensual kiss, Tara’s heavy lidded blue eyes, looked into dark emeralds. “You mean…”
“I mean.” Willow tucked blonde strands of hair behind Tara’s ear. “Tara Maclay, will you go out on a date with me?”
“I would love too.” Tara smiled and nuzzled her loves neck before placing kisses up along the pale creamy throat. “And I love you.” She murmured.
~
I cried last night…and Willow held me while I did so. I couldn’t believe that she chose me over Oz. And even to Willow…she never chose. She knew exactly where she belonged, but needed time. That’s what she told me. I believe her.
We made love all night after we had our cry. We touched. We caressed each others skin, souls and hearts. She made me feel so beautiful. And her words earlier about worshipping me. She truly made me feel like a Goddess. She cherished my body as I cherished hers. I love this woman more then anything in my whole life.
She even bought me a surprise. Okay, for us, but I was sure surprised. And she’s curled up next to Willow right now, as I lay here, and look at the morning sun, bathing my lover.
My lover.
And Miss Kitty Fantastico.
This place is truly and always will be… Willow-friendly.
