“Teenage Love”
Summary: The gang is in high school with a little more maturity then Joss gave them. Buffy and Willow find out their gay and find someone for the both of them. Nothing really big happens except for Buffy dies but opps, you’re gonna have to read to find out. This is mostly just about their life as teens into adulthood. Hope you like it.
Chapter 1
She looked around the new class as she waited for her friends. It was a new school year and she couldn’t wait to get a whole new visage of knowledge in before college. She has always been interested in learning new things but this year was different. She couldn’t wait to get it over with. It was their senior year and everyone had decided to go to the same college if they were even going. Last year was very eventful for the gang. Buffy and Willow both found out they were gay so they had to deal with coming out of the closet and the slaying was weighing them all down as well. But now they were out and living free. They still got looks from afar but didn’t really pay much attention. So here she was sitting a couple rows back and her eyes catch something. Blonde hair. She thought it was Buffy so she snapped her head getting ready to call her name but found someone totally different. A girl walked into the room and found a seat right across from the redhead. Willow didn’t even see or hear her friends walk in and sit next to her. She was too enthralled in the blonde to notice anything. It took her a while to realize that Buffy was calling her. “Will!” Buffy shouted for the third time.
Willow turned her head. “What?”
Buffy followed her eye sight and saw the blonde that Willow had her eye on. “That’s the new girl. I think her name is Tara.” She got a questioning look and continues. “Giles made me keep an eye on all the newbie’s to make sure they don’t get hurt.” Willow nodded and looked back over to the blonde. “Buffy smiled and looked over to Xander. “Someone’s got a crush.” She sang over and over again.
Willow playfully hits the slayer. “Oh stop. I believe you have a crush on a certain slayer that will be nameless for the time being.”
Buffy frowns. “Is it really that obvious?”
“Come on Buff, even watcher man can see it and he’s pretty out of it when it comes to this stuff.” Xander stated as he looked over to the blonde. “She’s cute. If she wasn’t Wills eye candy I’d go after her.”
Willow smacked his arm. “Xander!”
“What?” Xander rubbed his arm.
The teacher walked in and put his briefcase down on the table. “Okay class, my name is Mr. Border and I will be your Chemistry teacher for the rest for the year. I do not tolerate side conversations and I take a lot of notes. Tests will be distributed every other week. Now get your books out, we will be starting from cell division and going from there.” Everyone got out their books and started taking notes as fast as the could.

The bell rung and everyone was walking out to the quad with lunch in hand. The gang sat at the normal table talking about last nights patrol. Willow wasn’t paying attention however, she saw the blonde walk over and sit under a tree to eat her lunch. Buffy noticed her friend’s non-attention and smiled. “Hey Will.” She got her friends attention. “Why don’t you go over there?”
Willow looked over again. “You think I should?”
Xander nodded. “Go get her Will.”
Willow smiled and gets up. She walked over to the tree and stared at the blonde for a moment before getting the blondes attention. “Care for some company?”
The blonde looked up and smiled. She has seen the redhead and couldn’t stop herself from glancing over from time to time. She motions for her to sit. “I’m Tara.”
“Willow.” She said as she sat down. She decided to start up a conversation. “You’re new aren’t you?”
“Yeah, my family just moved her from L.A.” Tara said as she took a bite of her sandwich.
“Wow. My best friend Buffy moved her from L.A. about three years ago.” She stated.
Tara nodded as she took another bit. They sat there talking about each others pasts when the bell rang to go back to class.

It was midnight and two figures were walking through the cemetery. It was quiet except for a few vampires so Buffy and Willow were getting a little bit restless. Buffy was talking about her training with Giles but Willow wasn’t really paying attention. Willow thoughts were once again drifting back to the blonde. After lunch the two girls had a study hall together so they passed notes back and forth getting to know each other more. They both found out about their families. Willow was about to tell her about her sexuality but the ell rang so she was going to have to wait. She was lost in her thoughts and didn’t hear Buffy call her name until she screamed it. “Willow!”
Willow shook her head and looked toward the sound. She saw Buffy running toward someone on the ground with a vampire looming over her. She got closer and noticed it was Tara so she raced over and while Buffy was fighting with the vampire, Tara was on the ground chanting something. Tara raised her hands and in a matter of seconds the vampire was turned to dust while Buffy was staking the air. Willow kneeled down next to Tara and saw some scratches all over the blonde but a big gash on her forehead. “Are you okay?” She asked.
Tara nodded. “I think so.” She looked to Buffy and then to Willow. “You two really shouldn’t be out here.”
Buffy walked over. “I could say the same for you.”
Willow helped Tara stand. “It’s dangerous out here; there are… things that can hurt you.”
“Again, I can say the same for you.” Buffy stated.
Willow nodded. “We know all this.” She looked over to Buffy. “Maybe we should tell her.”
Buffy nodded. “Watcher time.”
Tara furrowed her brow as they walk out of the grave yard and headed toward the school. “Watcher?”
“Don’t worry, you’ll understand in a few minutes.” Buffy stated.

They got to the school and Giles was still there looking through his books. He looked up when they come in and smiled. “Hello Buffy, Willow, Tara.”
Tara waved. “Hello Mr. Giles.” Tara remembered when she first came in the library for some books, Giles was very kind hearted and you could see it form a mile away.
“What can I help you ladies for?” He asked politely.
Buffy walked up ahead of the other two. “We found Tara here in the grave yard. Apparently she’s a witch and knows a lot about demons and things that go bump in the night. We thought you could tell her everything else. Since you love doing the speech so much we thought you would be perfect for it.” Buffy smiled very proud of herself.
Giles sighed. “Ah yes.” He begins his explanation of the slayer and prophesies. Tara takes in everything and is glad to know that she’s not the only one that knows about this stuff.
“So let me get this straight. Buffy is the slayer. You are her watcher. Willow, Xander, and Cordelia help Buffy with the slaying.” Everyone nodded. “So you two did belong in the cemetery.”
“Yes.” Buffy said. “And if you’re interested, we would like to have you in out little group too. We could always use another witch in the mix.”
Tara furrowed her brow. “Another one? Who else do you have?”
Willow raised her hand. “Present. Although I’m not that good.”
“I knew I felt power emanating from you.” Tara realized.
“So anyway, is it settled? Will you join the Scooby gang?” Buffy asked again. She knew Willow has a crush on her and maybe this would get their relationship going.
Tara nodded. She figured this would be a good use of her time and a good way of getting closer to Willow. “Sure. What about Xander and Cordelia?”
Buffy shook her head. “They won’t care. They are barely around anyway.”
Giles nodded. “Yes, well, I am glad to have you on the team Tara.”
“Thank you Mr. Giles.” She smiled at him.
“Giles, please. Call me Giles. Everyone here already does.” He stated looking pointedly at Buffy.
Buffy noticed his glare. “What? I believe I have a right after all.”
“Yes, well. How was the patrol?” He asked.
Buffy shrugged. “Nothing special. Couple vamps here and there but I got ‘em. Tara here dusted one with a spell. I was personally amazed.”
Tara shook her head. “It was nothing special. It was a spell my mother taught me a while ago. She is also a witch.”
Giles smiled. “I suspect you and Willow will be learning a lot from each other then.”
Willow nodded. “Should be very entertaining. I personally am looking forward to it.” She looked over at Tara who was looking back. There was a flirtatious sound in her voice and Tara did not miss it. She smiled to herself thinking how fun Sunnydale was turning out to be. They finished up the details of that night and Buffy walked everyone home.
