Prologue
Somewhere nearby Sunnydale…
“No! Please don’t take her! No, I will do anything, just take me! Not my daughter!” The woman was shrieking, with tears flowing across her cheeks almost endlessly. She was being held by three dark robed figures, watching her newborn being carried away helplessly.
“We had our agreement, I am to take your only child and now I am taking her with me, after all, she is mine as well.” The voice was so cold and almost lifeless. The voice belonged to the man with looks that appeared so ageless. He was wearing a crown, beautifully crafted by the most skilled craftsman who worshipped him and sacrificed his soul to him. His eyes were grey, lifeless and pure evil. He has a smile that can tell a tale.
“Hades, no! Willow will never be yours! I will make sure of that!” The auburn haired woman screamed, struggling to break free of their hold.
The God of Underworld, cradling the crying red haired infant wrapped in blood red cloth, glanced across the face of his newborn and smiled. ‘I am going to make you my greatest champion, Black Rose.’ With that, he looked up, gently tightens his hold around the infant and smirked at the pure hatred smoldering in his child’s mother’s eyes.
“Don’t you worry, I will name her Willow Rosenberg but she will always be known as the Black Rose.” Hades spoke almost sadistic then smirked again, that cruel smile that only the robed figures understood.
“Kill her.” He ordered unnecessarily, walking away, enjoying the sound of death embracing his child’s mother.
*~*~*~*
Somewhere in Scotland....
There stood a young aged woman, her mane was of golden brown that shone like honey when hit with soft sunlight, her deep blue eyes are almost aged but yet ageless. As her eyes scanned the endless miles of greens, her facial features were flawless with soft high cheekbones that made her appear impossibly beautiful. She was clad in grey tight pants designed for comfort while in battle, custom-made black boots that fit her feet like a glove, it only reached to the middle of her calves. The soles of her boots have never betrayed her even once. The heavy white tank top was hugging her muscle-toned torso as if it was painted onto her skin. It even drew the sight of her toned abs each time she stretches or tenses. Her ample breasts were sitting as her own personal prisoners against the cloth barrier. On her left arm, there was a tattoo that went around her upper arm that consisted a beautiful design that was inked in with a mixture of green ink and a few drops of her mother’s blood. ‘This is to protect you.’ She remembered her mother telling her after a numerous of “owies” and she was only ten years old when the tattooing took place. To finish her true warrior’s attire, she was wearing a harness that held her most prized pure silver sword blessed by Goddess Athena that can kill demons and vampires swiftly. She knew she can use magicks but she didn’t like using it that often because it was almost too luxurious for her taste, after all she got enhanced strength from both parents.
From the day, she learned that she was a Daywalker, half vampire and half human with witch powers inherited from her mother. She missed her parents terribly, her father was turned by a vampire that came from the strongest line of vampires but never lost his soul due to his wife’s powerful protection spell and her mother was the favorite of Goddess Diana. Tara knew the reason why they attempted to turn her father was to kill her mother in hopes to extract her powers and their plan failed miserably which cost them the greatest threat, Tara Maclay aka the Daywalker..
As the prophecy has been written a millennia ago that there will be the Champion of the Light and the Champion of the Dark must fight each other to death in order to restore the balance that was thrown off by the biggest battle among the Gods and Goddesses fighting for the whole dominance. The order of Olympia fell away sending all Gods and Goddesses into eternal sleep.
“It’s time.” A voice from behind informed.
“I will miss this.” Tara whispered to herself, turning away from her previous position to face her mentor. As her blue eyes met black eyes of her mentor, “I am ready to go, Sirius.”
Sirius was Tara’s father most trusted advisor and one of the greatest swordsmen, he took Tara under his wing when her parents were murdered when she was eleven years old. He trained Tara exhaustedly until she mastered all fighting skills and controlling her enhanced strength down to her advantage. He was there when Tara went through some changes of puberty and embracing her both human and vampire heritages. He remembered those deafening screams coming from his young pupil when she was struggling to control her lust for blood, specifically human blood. After Tara learned how to control her lust for blood, she was able to adapt herself that she can drink animal’s blood straight from the butcher once a month. Sirius wouldn’t be more pleased as he watched Tara evolve into a beautiful and incredibly strong warrior and he couldn’t even feel any embarrassment when he discovered Tara would defeat him so instantly. Sirius kept his promise to her parents and loved Tara as if she was his daughter. He knew he will miss her terribly. “Good, all your luggage are already put in and I am here to take you to the airport. Everything has been arranged. You are going to Sunnydale, California in America.”
“Yes, I will find the Black Rose.” Tara said, confidently.

willow and tara against one another
?
Intriguing story. One questiong: is Buffy the Slayer? And maybe one more: Does Giles know the Black Rose is Willow, and if so, has he been keeping this from her? Maybe encouraging the magicks so she can control herself? Anyway, i really like it.
To tell you the truth, the story line and your narration almost remind me of a story that would be set in ancient times, or maybe the middle ages... but this is good too. I have a feeling that you are going to keep us (and Willow) in the dark about a lot of the story for a while... Oh well, i can wait...
