Summery: well it’s a follow on from half was through Tabula Rasa. It’s what might have happened if the spell was never broken.
Authors Note: I just got an idea to right this. not sure if its going to work properly but you never know until you’ve tried it!
What if the spell had never been broken?
Tara brushed the copper locks from Willow’s face, staring into the innocent green orbs. Willow leaned into the blonde and placed a soft butterfly kiss on her lips. She had been attracted to this amazing women since the first time she had laid eyes on her. Even though she had lost her memory she could still feel the connection between them. An everlasting bond that gripped her soul. When they broke their soft kiss, they were still lost in each other eyes, amazed by the beauty of the women that was in front of them.
Alex and Dawn just looked on in amazement. Willow had mentioned to Dawn that she thought that she was ‘kinda gay’, but just kissing someone that you couldn’t even remember was just a little to strange for the teenager to cope with. She tried to direct her gaze away from the two women and noticed something on the floor beside Willow, she walked towards the darkened quartz. “Huh, pretty stone” she shoved it into her pocket and then walked over towards Alex.
She looked over to him to get some help with what they were suppose to do next. He was just standing there completely baffled. He then snapped out of his little day dream when he realised that the teenager was staring at him weirdly. He opened and shut his mouth a couple of times trying to come out with a proper excuse for the temporary loss of concentration but was only able to come up with a slight shoulder shrug and roll of the eyes.
He finally found the power to speak and still wasn’t sure of quite what he was meant to say to them. “Erm guys, did you just do what I think you did? Because if you did then… I mean, because Willow was supposedly my girlfriend” Alex was throwing his arms about to punctuate each word with a slight jerking of his head.
The two girls had finally managed to break eye contact and were now helping each other off the floor. Tara had taken Willow’s hand in her own and was proceeding to brush the dust from the redheads clothes. “Sorry did you say something Alex?” Willow wasn’t entirely sure what had just happened. She’d just experienced the most amazing kiss with Tara, then Alex; who was suppose to be her man, was just standing across from them, staring.
“You just kissed Tara! I thought that I was your boyfriend” Alex was now getting a bit upset by what he’d just seen. He’d only been with Willow, well what he could remember anyway, for an hour or so, but he was starting to develop feelings for her.
“Look Alex, we don't know anything at the moment, we just presumed that we were together, but it looks as though we may have presumed wrong”. Willow was trying her best to keep calm and defuse the situation until they were back to the safety and she could think straight again. Her emotions were flying around uncontrollably.
Alex was just about to open his mouth with a comeback when a whiney teenage jumped in between the two ex-lovers. “Guys, we should probably go back to the magic shop, I don't think that its safe down here”. Dawn was playing nervously with her hands and jumping up and down. She was really uncomfortable about walking through a sewer with a bunch of strangers; who were now arguing, and then being chased by a vampire.
“Yeah I think Dawns right, I’m not getting a very good vibe down here.” Alex decided that he better leave the topic until they got back to the magic shop. He didn’t think that them three having a full blown argument was going to help soothe the nerves of the frightened little teenager. He thought that being the only man in their little group he should probably take charge, but he was extremely scared himself and would much preferred to go and hide in a corner somewhere.
“Yeah I agree, so which way is it to the shop again?” Tara was trying to be productive by agreeing with the rest of the group but she still had no idea which direction they had come from.
All four of them looked around the sewers trying to get a clue from somewhere, but every entrance looked the same. “I think that we may have come across a slight problem”. Willow crinkled her eyebrows and sighed at Tara. “Anyone got any ideas?”.

“Oh Rupy!” Anya was tilted back in Rupert’s arms as their passionate kiss ended.
“Oh Anya” Rupert pulled Anya up against his chest.
“I think that we should go with the green.” Anya looked directly into Rupert’s eyes, which had now streaked with confusion.
“Sorry love?” Rupert had realised, even in the shortest amount of time, that she could sometimes be a little quirky to say the least, but she had completely lost him with this remark.
“The bridesmaids dresses, I think we should go with the green”. Anya smiled at how cute Rupert looked when he was confused.
“Oh yes, the green sounds charming love”. He smiled and pulled Anya into another kiss.

Joan just finished staking a vampire and was watching the dust settle. “Don’t mess with Joan the Vampire Slayer”.
“Yeah that’s right! You tell ‘em Joan”. Spike smiled and did a half hearted punching action to show his enthusiasm.
“Okay Randy, I’ll take these two mean things, because I’m wicked strong. You can take the other one over there” Joan was now getting into her role as a superhero and was taking great delight in bossing around the blonde vamp.
“But Joan he’s all weedy and small! I want to fight the big ones too!”. Randy put on his best pout and got smacked in the face by the weedy vampire.
“See”, Joan smacked one vampire in the nose, “that’s” and then the other one, “why” as both vampires charged towards her she close lined them both, one with each arm. “You fight the weedy ones” she gave a little smirk and then turned to see Randy pinned up against the wall.
“Oh hang on”. The vampire suddenly turned into a pile of dust and Randy walked towards Joan straightening out his jacket, trying to look all macho. “Well that was easy enough”. Joan raised her eyebrows and covered her mouth to stifle her giggling. “I had a spike in my pocket all along”.
“You think that maybe next time, you find it a little earlier on in the fight! Save us, well just you know, getting nearly killed”. Joan put her hands on her hips and frowned at Randy.
“Hey, he came out of nowhere, and he was a lot stronger than he looked, I’ll have you know!”
“Yeah whatever, Randy” Buffy began to carry on walking down the road.
“Anyway, size doesn’t matter, its how you use it!” Randy started running after the petit blonde.
“Sure it is Randy”. Joan had already taken a liking to Randy, even if he was a vampire and officially she was meant to kill him.
As they walked a off another strange, pathetic excuse for a demon appeared behind them. “You're an odd duck, Mister Spike. Fighting your own kind ... palling around with a Slayer.”. Both of them turned round to see the shark demon from the magic shop earlier.
“Well you know, I like to be individual” Randy was trying desperately to win Buffy’s attention. “And why do you keep calling me spike?”
“Your funny too”, he coughed weakly to recompose himself. “Its okay about the debt, I don't need the kittens.”.
“Urm right yeah sure the kittens. Okay well thanks Mr Shark I really appreciate that!” he turned to Joan and murmured under his breath. “He’s a nutcase!”.
“Well I better be off then” he bowed his head slightly and looked towards to the slayer and Randy. “Night”.
“Well that wasn’t at all weird!” Buffy shook her head and headed desperately for the hospital, hoping to meet the other four there.

“See, didn’t I say that we should have gone right back there!” Willow throwing her arms about widely, she and Alex were in the middle of an argument; Willow was winning.
“Well how the hell was I suppose to know! I was just following my male instincts.” Alex didn’t realise the trap he had just got himself into.
“Men and their stupid instincts! We didn’t ask you to show us the direction to the nearest football match, or the hottest girl on the planet! We just wanted to go back to the magic shop!”
“Well one minute we were all snugly wugly, and I’m your man. Then I turn round to see you kissing her! I mean of all the nerve!”. Alex noticed the anger rising in Willow’s eyes and decided to back off a little.
“Well if you must know that SHE has a name! Tara is not just an object as much as you men may think she is! Also she must have treated me a hell of a lot better than you did because I went running to her as soon as we woke up from this little nightmare, and she’s the only one that’s keeping me sane right now!”. Willow had turned a bright red from the lack of oxygen and the anger that matched her fiery red hair. Tara couldn’t help but grin, she tried to bite her lip to stifle it but was unsuccessful.
There was an awkward silence that was finally broken by a little teenage voice coming from behind Willow. “Urm Willow, I-I-I don't mean to make you mad but, I really need to go pee. So could we please stop arguing and get back to the magic shop, please.” Dawn was standing with her legs crossed looking a little uncomfortable.
Willow turned to look at Dawn and smiled, the anger draining from her face. “Sure Dawn, I’ll get you there as soon as possible”. She smiled wickedly at Alex, “I’m sure Alex here wouldn’t mind carrying you back”.
Alex huffed and walked over to Dawn. “Hop on little one, I’m the pack horse apparently”.
“Well its your fault that its taken us this long!” Willow was getting ready for round two when Tara stepped in and took her hand. Willow froze and just got lost in Tara’s eyes once again.
Tara kept her voice low and calm. “This isn’t helping anyone, we need to try and find our way back okay?”. Tara was pleading with Willow to relax. She hated seeing the fear and anger that seemed to build up in the redhead so quickly.
Willow just simply nodded and held the blondes hand tightly. She was just as petrified as all the others, but when she was touching Tara all the fear seemed to slip away. She wasn’t entirely sure why that happened, it just did.
“We’ll sort it all out then, I think we need to talk about some stuff”. Tara smiled and lead Willow down another dark, damp sewer, closely followed by Alex carrying Dawn.
“The ants go matching four by. . .” Dawn had thought her angelic singing voice would help to lift the spirits of the others.
“SHUT UP!” everyone cried in unison.
“Sorry!” Dawn rolled her eyes, “Geez you guys should try lightening up a little!” Dawn slumped her head onto Alex’s shoulder and continued humming subconsciously.
