Title: Double the Trouble (part 1)
Rating: R to be safe, some smut might sneak up on me.
Spoilers: Maybe some from season six, not much though
Disclaimer: I own nothing, all the characters in this story are property of the joss and all other powerful players in the Buffy-verse.
Note: This was done, if only, as therapy to me. I needed some happiness after all the angsty-ness we've had thus far.
Part 1
Willow opened her eyes and looked around. From her limited range of sight, she could make out a few things immediately. First of all she was lying on the floor and the cage in the corner told her she was, indeed, in her and Tara's room. Well, her room anyway. Willow got up slowly and tried to remember exactly what happened. Instantly, a wave of guilt hit her. She remembered betraying Tara, facing the blonde's hurt expression as she walked away. She remembered Rack and the feelings of fear and power he elicited. Mostly, she remembered feeling lost. She got up and walked to the bathroom to shower, to cleanse herself and purge herself of all of this. Walking through the door, she suddenly found herself crossing the threshold of Tara's dorm room. The blonde looked at her, a mixture of pain and disappointment clouding her delicate features. "Don't," she said, wiping a tear, "there's nothing left to say." Willow stayed at the door paralyzed. "But, but I needed it Tara, I needed it to make me whole," she pleaded unconvincingly. Tara turned her head to meet her gaze firmly. "Did it? God Willow, when are you gonna wake up?" Willow fell to her knees and began to cry as she felt the magic well up inside her. She clutched the soft carpet and sobbed. Eventually, she registered someone shaking her by the shoulders. "When are you gonna wake up? Wake up Willow, wake up."
Willow slowly opened her eyes in a haze of post dream confusion. She was lying in bed clutching her pillow and above Tara gently, but insistently, urged her to consciousness. "Wake up, sweetie, you're late." Willow turned and faced Tara, who was sitting on the edge of the bed, fully dressed, her blonde hair cascading around her face. Remembering her nightmare, Willow raised herself to meet Tara and hugged her desperately.
"Oh my Tara, I love you," she said as she squeezed Tara.
"Uh, I love you too?" Tara said confused at her lover's sudden display of affection. Willow broke the embrace and caught Tara in a passionate kiss that forced her down on the bed. Willow continued kissing a very surprised Tara. She urgently turned her attention from her dazed lover's lips and buried her face in her neck, sucking and kissing its every contour.
"Uh, w-willow. Goddess that feels good." Although she was confused, Willow's affections weren't something she could easily resist. Sadly, she knew she had too. With regret and confusion, Tara gently pushed herself out from under Willow.
"Sw-sweetie, I can't say that I have a problem with you sudden switch to vixen-mode, but why don't we save it for later tonight. We're running late." She said with a blush.
I'm sorry baby, I just want you so much." Willow whispered. She was about to lean in for more, when a loud noise entered the quiet room. The door had burst open and loud cartoon theme music filed the air and two little girls ran into the room in a whirlwind of energy and early morning mischief.
"Mommy, Gwenie says I'm adopted!" The little girl exclaimed, pointing at her twin who began to shake her head furiously. "But mom, she started it! She said I wasn't a real witch, cuz I cant float a pencil yet!" Willow looked at Tara and the two rolled their eyes almost in unison.
"Alright, alright," Tara said as she got up and walked over to the girls, "Gwenyth, your sister is not adopted."
"But--" Tara, interrupted before the girl could protest. "and Madison, your are not to call your sister dumb under any circumstances, do you understand? Every one learns spells at their own pace."
"Besides," Willow said as she walked over and kneel in front of her daughter, "it took me a while to float a pencil. That's a hard spell." She said with a smile as she hugged Gwen. Tara smiled at the moment, but quickly remembered the time.
"Ok," she said, "now that the crisis is over, I believe you girls have a school to get ready for."
"Ok" The girls said in unison, both in an equally unenthusiastic tone as they ran out of the room.
Tara smiled at Willow, who rose and grabbed her lightly by the waist.
"Good morning." She said as she kissed her lightly on the lips. Tara smiled as the kiss broke lightly and magically.
"Good morning, sweetie." They touched foreheads and stayed there for a moment.
"We have to take the twins to school."
"Mmhmm," Willow replied, without breaking the contact.
"You have to get ready for work."
"Ok," Willow replied in an unenthusiastic tone similar to her daughters' as she broke the embrace and walked to the bathroom. Tara laughed and set her sights on going downstairs and making breakfast.
"Oh, and Willow" She called from the doorway"
"Yeah?" Willow replied from the bathroom.
"To what did I owe that sudden outburst of lovin' you gave me? Have you been having dreams of the naughty variety about me again?"
"Nah," Willow said, emerging from the bathroom with her lips covered in toothpaste. "I love my Tara in the flesh."
"Tonight." Tara promised.
"I'm gonna hold you to that McClay," Willow smiled a naughty smile all her own. Tara laughed as the two women continued with their day.
