The Lady Dragon's Poetry

Postby Drakkenfyre » Fri Jul 18, 2003 8:18 pm

Yes, Kittens that is right...The Lady Dragon is back(thank you Xita) I just hope I can live up to the legacy of poems I left behind...For those who remember me...Hello again...for those who are new to me...HI!! The Lady Dragon won't bite you unless you ask her to...tee hee... Well, I figured for a first poem I should start it out right...I hope this one is up to my old standards. This is just one of those all encompassing W/T moments...Well, you will see. We have all been there...As for feedback...yes please...be honest...I can take it. If you don't like it...tell me. I want to know. Well, here it goes. I call this one...

Morning

I roll over in the morning light

And reach out for you.

You are not there,

But you still are.

I bury my face in your pillow

I can smell you.

You are here.

The sheets where you layed

Are still warm

I can taste you in the air.

And I remember...

I remember...

The touch of your skin

Your body pressing next to me.

Your voice echoing my name

Against the still night air.

I remember...

The curve of your thigh.

Your tongue against my throat.

Our lips meeting.

Hips rising.

Bodies as one.

I remember...

Our sighs.

Our breath ragged.

Our love.

I can still feel you.

I can feel you reveberating against me.

You touching me.

Loving me.

Goddess.

How I love you.

How I long for you.

For that touch.

That kiss.

That moment.

I close my eyes and breathe.

I remember...

Everything.

I remember.

You.

well there it is...my first poem back.. *the dragon disappears into a blue mist*

I am the dragon that hides from the sun and flies in the moonlight.

Color me surprised...

Postby Drakkenfyre » Tue Jul 22, 2003 1:51 pm

Well, I must say I am quite surprised by such a warm reception back and by all the kind words. *sniffle...no no, dragons aren't supposed to get all emotional* Okay...well, let's just do this then shall we? I want to take just a moment to thank everyone.

andi- My dear, please stop running in circles. You are making the dragon dizzy. Yes, I'm back and I missed you also. Thank you so much for your lovely feedback. I'm really glad you liked this one. Oh and about your writing...your writing doesn't need to grow up and be my writing. Yours is a talent that stands alone. Your writing outshines mine in many ways. Never doubt your talent, my dear. Never. Okay? Good. Now you may go back to running in circles if you would like.:grin

Diana- Thank you so much for stopping by and reading my words. I'm glad I could take you to an entirely new place with just my words. I tried to make this poem deal with the senses. I guess it must have worked.

Katy-Oh sweetie!! I didn't mean to make you cry. Yet...a poem that can illicit emotion must have some merit. *grabs you in a big dragon hug* There, any better?

Jen- Ah, my most favorite kitten in the whole wide world. *nuzzles you back* How are you little one? Thank you for reading my poem and well for liking it. You know, I rather missed having you on my shoulder. Thanks again sweetie...love ya.

LB- *oooffff-catches LB and rolls across the ground* Yes dear. I'm back. Nice to see you too. I'm most happy that you liked the poem. May I just say that was quite an enthusiastic hello from you. Thank you LB, now could you get off me so that I could stand, please?

Jean- I really must ask love, what is it with the dancing bananas? I'm glad you weren't too excited that you forgot to read the poem. Better yet, you liked it, you liked it, you really liked it. Dear lord, the dancing bananas must have gotten to my brain. Thanks love.

Maudmac- Thank you. It is good to be back. *bows to you*

Steph- Hello my dear. *hugs you back* Thank you ever so for stopping by...as for the poetry war...don't know...still waiting. I guess we will just have to wait and see, won't we? Thanks again.

SJ- Glad you liked it...stop by again...Thanks love.

There I actually managed to this in a somewhat civilized time. Thanks again to everyone...I hope to have something new up soon...*wings crossed*

Desire

Postby Drakkenfyre » Fri Jul 25, 2003 7:50 pm

I do believe, if memory serves me correctly, that I promised something new. Well, the dragon has tried and has come up with this poem. I hope you all enjoy. It is from the perspective of Willow and right after NMR. I hope I do this justice. I call this one....

Desire

Oh goddess...

How I want you.

You are my every thought.

My every want and need.

I dream...

Of touching you.

Of how I would make love to you.

I would start slow.

My tongue gliding across your throat.

My body pressed tightly against yours.

Feeling your heart beat against my breast.

My hands in your hair.

Yet...

Not wanting to go slow.

Feeling that primal urge that is desire.

Wanting all of you.

Needing you.

I want you to want me.

To crave my touch.

To need me.

Desire me.

Discovering every inch of you.

Finding you.

Bringing you out to me.

And taking you back again.

Rolling you...

Under my palm.

Your hands grasping...

At the sheets.

Knuckles white.

In need and want.

Your back arching.

Your hips moving against me.

Your body...

Telling me

Your every want.

Every desire.

My thigh slipping between yours.

Pushing you to the edge.

Driving you.

Melting into you.

My fingers tracing your thigh

My tongue tasting you.

Opening you to me.

Oh goddess,

I must...

Breathe.

My want for you,

Unimaginable.

My need for you,

Unrelenting.

My desire for you,

Unmatched.

Oh...

How I would love you.

How I would touch you.

Gentle but needing.

How I would....

Taste you upon my lips.

Goddess...

How much do I...

Desire you.

Well, that would be the poem. Did I do okay? Remember the Lady Dragon is a bit rusty in this writing department so feedback is always welcome. *bows to the kittens*

Dance Across Your Soul

Postby Drakkenfyre » Sat Aug 02, 2003 12:11 pm

Okay, The Lady Dragon has a new poem but first let me take a moment...Dr. G - Yes, I am a little rusty but I am working on it. I thank you so much for stopping by and for your lovely words of encouragement and praise. *the dragon bows to you* Thank you most kindly.

Well, new poem, yes...ahem...:blush This one is well, just one of those W/T moments that everyone thinks about. Can't really say from which perspective this one comes from...it just is what it is. Let us just say that The Lady Dragon was quite...well... frisky? Yes, that is a good word. Frisky. I hope everyone likes it. As always, please let me know if this is not up to standard. Still working on this writing thing. *taps pen against desk*

Dancing Across Your Soul

Cravings.

Longings.

Desires.

This...

This is my world.

My every thought.

My every moment awake.

I crave...

The feel of your lips pressed to mine.

The touch of your fingers.

The curve of your breast in my mouth.

The taste of you upon my lips.

Oh how you fit so well against me.

I long for...

Your body pressed against mine.

Your hands in my hair.

My thigh between yours.

My tongue dancing across your soul.

I desire...

The feel of your nails raking across my back.

Your back arching against me.

Hips suspended.

Waiting,

For me

To bring you out,

Over and over again.

Goddess but I want...

To hear you cry out my name

Shattering the silence of the air.

To explore every inch of you.

With my hands.

My fingers.

My body.

My tongue.

Even in my dreams

I can feel you.

I can sense your needs.

Your wants.

You desires.

I am here, my love.

I am with you.

Whether we be awake

Or sleeping.

I am with you.

I will not let you go.

I will hold you.

I will touch you

As no one ever has.

I will show you the worlds,

You hide behind your eyelids.

I will show you passion

That you never dreamed you could experience.

I will give you...

The stars in the heavens.

The moon placed at your feet.

The sky your palette.

And me...

By your side.

I want.

I crave.

I desire.

I dream.

Of you.

Okay, there it is. Thoughts? Feelings? Reactions?
