Ficcish Poems

Postby Bookcat » Fri Apr 05, 2002 11:14 pm

Two of them, actually (this is the first time I ever created a thread on either board). Anyway, the first poem's called Cliché and was previously published in my school's literary magazine. It can apply to Willow and Tara in the 4th season...

The second one I just wrote about Wrecked--Willow's perspective in case you couldn't tell by reading it. It literally took 5 seconds. So without further ado...

Cliché

An awkward silence

Some nervous laughter

A sharp intake of breath

Causing an anticipative shudder

The not knowing whose heart is whose

Then the closure

And you know

And it's right.

From Gentle to Extreme

When we made love

we floated.

When you left

I went to the ceiling

To try to get

the floating back.

A sharp break

From gentle to extreme.

I'm sorry.

Tara: Do you mind if I keep the light on? I was gonna look up some spells.

These were really good, you should continue to write and to post. We need more poets here(okay, I am just being selfish). Please continue with your poetry and remember that a talent such as yours is to be nurtured and it will grow with each passing day..
