Title: The Adventures of Miss Kitty and The English Bandit

Author: boo

Disclaimer: Mutant Enemy, Joss. Etc.

Pairings: W/T. Mostly. So far. After this, who knows.

Rating: PG. I don't think it'll get past that. I'll warn you if it does.

Spoilers: Season 6, up through Wrecked.

Note: This is my first fic. I have no idea what I'm doing. No storyline. I just sat down and wrote this part. Hopefully more will be coming soon.

Miss Kitty watched with great curiosity at the multiple things happening on the screen before her. Willow tapped away on her laptop, doing a bit of extra research before she needed to get to bed. Tara scratched the kittens ear while trying to keep up to date with all the sites the redhead was sifting through.

"What was that one?" The blonde asked, as a page filled with images flipped out of her view.

Willow tore her eyes from the screen to face Tara. "What was what one?"

Tara blinked. "Um..." She rubbed beneath Miss Kitty's chin, confused, and determined to change the subject. "Will you come to bed soon?" She fluttered her eyelashes for a dramatic flair. "Please?"

Willow grinned, deciding the research could wait. She was definitely not going to pass up the chance of snuggles with her Tara just to be ahead of the rest of the gang tomorrow. In the months after Tara had left, Willow had gone her own way, staying away from magick, and with the blonde witch's help, slowly learning the true meaning of being a Wiccan. And thoroughly enjoying it.

She pushed the center button, putting the computer on "stand by" and then hefted it off the bed and to the side. Already being in her pajamas, Willow was right behind Tara when she slid beneath the covers. She settled in comfortably, but frowned when Tara didn't snuggle up beside her like she usually did.

A turn to the side revealed the reason why. Tara was struggling with Miss Kitty, trying to unhook her paw from the tangle of electrical and phone cords the laptop provided. The kitten meowed once, then was untangled, and Tara leaned back up from the floor to the bed, only to collide with Willow and her curious staring.

"Willow!" The blonde placed a hand on her own chest in attempt to still her pounding heart. She had expected Willow to be lying down, not popping up right in front of her when she turned around.

Willow placed her hand over Tara's and brought it down to the bed, entwining their fingers. "I'm sorry baby, I didn't mean to scare you."

"I-It's okay." Tara looked down at their hands. Although she had been with Willow for almost three years now, the electricity that flowed through them never ceased to take her breath away.

Willow brought her fingers up to trace the other girl's cheekbone, letting her fingers linger idly. She sealed the loving gesture with a soft kiss. After her adoring was finished, she settled back onto the pillows again. This time, she was comforted by Tara's warm, soft body pressing against her own, and the blonde witch's cheek nuzzling hers before resting on Willow's shoulder.

"I love you, Willow." Tara whispered into the redhead's neck, kissing the pale skin there.

"Mmm, love you too, Tari." Willow replied, her thoughts getting fuzzy in the comfort of their room.

As the two girls drifted off to sleep, Miss Kitty uncurled from her spot, padding quietly to the door. She pawed it a few times, knowing that it was open just a tiny bit. After a few tries, she had pushed open the door enough for her to slink through and disappear into the darkness of the hallway.

She flicked her tail a few times as she adjusted her trusty kitty night vision, then padded silently down the stairs. She never understood why her mommies had moved her food downstairs. It was much more convenient when it had been in their room. She was convinced they wanted her to get more exercise. So every night, after they went to sleep, she grew hungry, and went downstairs to eat. And she wasn't the only one who knew this.

Outside, a dark figure moved swiftly to the door. Producing a paper clip from an unknown place in their clothing, the figure proceeded to pick the lock on the Summer's front door.

Miss Kitty had settled herself down by her bowl, nicely marked with her name in big purple letters. Just as she started to munch away, two big hands swooped her up from behind and stuffed her behind a big, thick coat. She meowed, scared out of her furry kitty mind, and clawed at the coat.

It was no use. Before you could say 'Bloody hell,' Miss Kitty disappeared into the night, hidden in the coat of the English bandit.
