I like to see a relationship slowly build before there is any making love. I like to see two people get to know each other. I like shy glances and little touches. This is what love should be about. No one-night-stands or jumping into the bed on the first date. You'll never know how many people the other person has been with or if they have any diseases. Relationships that slowly build are what I like.

I love smut, don't get me wrong. BUt my ultimate preference is for fic with a good story particularly a story with a strong romantic bend. I like action but there must be somethign about the w/t relationship driving it. I like sex as part of the story but as it naturaly builds. It should offer something to the story , thought it doesn't have to be present, but I do like it if it is

I think sex between two people who love, trust, respect, and truly know each other can be incredibly hot. I love smut, but I love it most when it's in the context of a romantic, emotionally intimate relationship. So, I'm all for the leading up to the NC-17.

I will read anything no matter the rating, though I am more likely to read something rated R or above before lower rated stuff.



Personally, I'm not a big fan of stories that have different ratings for each part - And I'd really hate it if I was too young to read the older parts.

Though not together. I like my stories either or. So I know what I am getting into for the entire story instead of having different chapters having different ratings.



So still, in the end W/T fanfic is still about W/T so it doesn't matter what it is about as long as it is about W/T!

I tend to like PG-13 leading to Nc-17 too...I love the buildup, particularly if its got a lot of teasing...but I love the sweet romance and shyness too

Anyway, I've read every kind of fic and I must say that I prefer the kind that has a good story and a build up of tension to it. That is why I like fics that deal with the early days and first times a lot. The mutual unresolved desire can be rather appealing. Anyway, as long as WT are in character and in love I'll like it.

It's hard to know really because the US rating system is different to the UK one and it baffles me



I wouldn't know what's meant by R but I have a good guess at the NC 17 so I opted for the slowly progressing to NC 17 but I don't like a fan fic with overwhelming amounts of sex (it makes my partner go funny )

I'm generally in favour of havings fics slowly proceeding up to NC-17. Smut, on its own, it's good, yeah it's definitely good But with a good story plot and a slow build up of the romance and tension, makes the smutty part all the more sweeter later on, cause there's all that love floating in the air But hey! Anything that involves W/T falling in love and being together, I'll read it!

I really enjoy a good build up in my fan fic. I read fast, and in huge amounts. Sometimes I am in the mood for straight out smut, but my true favorite is a good build up, with some angst mixed in, then when they get together, it is so well woth the wait.
