I went with "You make me complete" because it means two different things. Willow is the other half of Tara's soul, and as we all know so well, Willow is just not Willow without Tara. We all know what the other meaning is.

Tara: My heart doesn't stutter.


Tara: Willow, I got so lost.

Willow: I found you. I will always find you.

I'm going to say "Spread beneath my Willow tree" because when I heard that for the first time I nearly spit out the drink in my mouth, thought 'They did not just say that,' and started laughing hysterically. It was a fabulous moment. I still giggle like a little kid when I hear it.

Now this was a toughie, in the end i had to go with 'i can feel you inside'. Not just for the double meaning (although that has a lot to do with it) but because of the way Amber sang this line. Amazing.

It's gonna have to be the "com-plete" line, just because it went past me 93 times until my friend, Steph, and I were watching the ep and she just went nutso over it, so crazy our hall neighbours came over to see what was going on and she made them watch it too.



That line will always have a special place in my heart.

Well, I voted for "complete", because her voice just SOARS on that word, and she sounds incredible. (And, you know, the double entendre certainly didn't hurt.)



But my actual favorite line isn't on the poll: "I'm bathed in light". You can hear her voice getting stronger on that part, like she's thinking of her newfound confidence. And the smile on her face when she tilts her head up towards the sun ..... wow!

I had to go with the "you make me complete" line. Although "spread beneath my Willow tree" made me do such a double take and go "no... way... they just did not say that... I love UPN". But when I hear Amber sing that verse and her voice just soars... its incredible... And, yeah, as it has been pointed out, the double entendre never can hurt! I think Amber had the best voice in the whole ep, I knew she could act, but I didnt know she could sing like that. Had me doing off and on for a few weeks, and doing again when I got the soundtrack. Mmmm... Ambervoice... .

Answer: Spread beneath my Willow tree all the way. I led sheltered life(at least when it came to lesbians) so the first gazzillion times I heard the song I totally didn't understand all the induendo . I got so used to the song after buying the CD and listening to the song I had stopped actually listening to the words until about three or four months ago. I was on my way home after school and I started 'Under Your Spell' on my CD player again and heard it. It finally clicked somewhere in the back of my mind and I understood. I knew what I saw on screen and finally put two and two together . I felt so stupid and probably looked it too. I was grinning like an idiot the rest of the day . I still giggle like a school girl on crack every time I hear it and was a little mad when my mom understood what was going on the first time 'round. I'm such a dork!

Hee, anyway, yes, the images that line inspires is -uhm- not unpleasant, especially when you take into account the way Tara delivers that line, the deep intake of breath which threatens to have her fall victim to the same unfortunate incident that happened to Lucy Lawless sometime ago.

Wow, I am young. I so did not realize the double meanings of like any of these until I started reading posts here. I'm silly. Well, I guess that's one way that writers can get away with homoerotic subtext- when people don't realize it's happening. Now I'm thinking Amber's even more awesome because not only does she have a wonderful voice, she sang this song with all the double meanings. I guess I'm going to learn a lot from this board.

Yay for the "Willow tree" line. I love that because the first time I heard it(after i realized what i'd heard was correct)

I was like "Oh, i get it, it's her name. A play on words, ha!" Plus i love the innuendo and was suprised they were allowed to say that.

Well I love the way the she sings "lost in esctasy" but the whole song is amazing. I thought that the double entendre's were very cleverly and subtely done- the whole spread beneath my willow tree thing" But I love the whole thing about Willow making Tara complete, and I always get a pang of sadness when Tara says "I figured that was my place" but I love the way she says "Sonething just isn't right" I love the whole song and the camera work during that song is great too. like when the camera sweeps across the river and towards the bridge- lol hey I'm a media student ok?

I love it when they spin around together its just really sweet.

Heck Willow and Tara love lives on in my heart!

2) you can SAY it identically
