I was hoping to have this ready in time to present it to MKF last Thursday, but work's been super annoying so I kind of just got home and switched off in front of youtube instead of arranging things... ...but it's finally done, the Mantelpiece of Tara (and Willow, of course) has been recreated in the new house:

Not actually a mantelpiece anymore, since this house doesn't have fireplaces, but my bedroom had these two display shelves built into the wall, so it seemed a good spot. (As before, per Kitten rules the photoshopped signed W/T-with-baby image has been covered up, you know where to find it.) Pretty pleased with how that all turned out, and the Amber books also made it onto the shelf, so that's a nice bonus. As you can see there're also a couple of neighbours, since the total shelf space is more than the old mantelpiece - I picked Deep Space Nine and She-Ra on the basis that they had to be both something I really really really like, and the action figures themselves must be top quality.

...and the reason I'm posting in this thread is, That Moment When you notice that now when you look up from your usual position on the bed with a laptop, you're looking right up She-Ra's skirt. So she's going to need to move a little further back on the shelf now...

It absolutely is! One would think after 17 years, that fear would go away, but NOOOOOOO. I'm pretty sure it multiplied as I rang the doorbell. But the doggies greeted me first, so that helped tremendously.

I'd have probably passed out if it weren't for those puppers.
